Hi, my name is Vladimir, the owner and master plumber at Arlan Plumbing. After years of training and working for other companies, I decided to begin my own family-operated business in 1999.
This may sound cliche, but my joy comes from helping others and seeing them happy through the service I provide. I understand plumbing issues can be extremely stressful, costly and happen without warning; therefore, I always do my absolute best to reduce the burden as fast as possible.

Last week after the rain storm my outdoor drains got clogged.
Checked with a few companies and Arlan Plumbing was able to assist me the same day. Other companies tried selling me a Hydrojet without evening checking if a snake (much cheaper) would do the job.
I appreciate the honest and service I was provided.
My tenant has mentioned that the vendor has been unreliable in terms of scheduling and communication. They didn't show up without giving a courtesy call.
We had a main line issue and glad Arlan Plumbing was able to assist. Roman was helpful and his father came out the same day. The price was cheaper from other companies I called and the quality of work was beyond satisfactory.

I called Arlan plumbing when my heater was started leaking.
Tech came in time, very pro replaced whole heater in same day. Very knowledgeable, and explained everything. Great service! Definitely recommend Arlan plumbing!
I found Arlan Plumbing on Yelp. Scheduled the same day for service replacing my toilet and kitchen faucet. The job was done in less then 2 hours and price was lower then other companies I shopped around. Communication was great and overall service was excellent. Very pleased with the work they provide.

We had an issue with our tankless water heater. After calling a few companies for estimates, I decided to work with Arlan Plumbing. They were the only company to provide me with a free quote and Sam who came out to inspect the issue was the most knowledgeable out of all the other companies. The price was fair and they included a free city inspection.
Work was done on time and great communication throughout the process.

We contacted Arlan Plumbing due to a pluming and draining issue in our home. They were able to accommodate with an appointment for a tech to come out that same week. This being our first time experiencing a plumbing related issue in our home, we contacted several companies to come out and provide quote and inspection. Michael was the only person who provided us with beneficial information and actual repair recommendations that made sense. He was polite, detailed and did an excellent job at explaining. Needles to say, the work that he did on our drains was also done to satisfaction with no issues so far. I would also like to note that Arlan Plumbing had the best pricing compared to their other highly rated competitors that I found on Yelp as well. I will be using them in the future as well as referring friends, neighbors and family members who have any issues in their homes also.

Finding a good, reliable plumber, that is also affordable, is extremely difficult. I was fortunate enough to get referred to Arlan plumbing and it seems like I now have a go to plumber for life! They came when they said, fixed the issue super easily, and the owner of the company even accompanied the technician and fixed the problem himself! Top-notch service from start to finish and cost effective to boot! Don't hesitate to call them for any plumbing issue!

On communication: 5/5 stars. This is the first time a contractor consistently picks up their phone, texts, communicates, and confirms in a prompt manner 95% of the time. I appreciate when they do this, it's rare, and in my book this counts as reliable and trustworthy.
On timeliness: 2.5/5 stars. 80% of the time they would show up half an hour to an hour and a half late past the time they mentioned. They gave plenty of reasons of why but for me it's a simple solution~ just learn how to estimate time more accurately and give yourself a thirty minute to an hour buffer. One thing I really don't like is that they would say they were late due to x, y, and z but they'd show up with a Starbucks cup.. ok, again, I don't care if you went to Starbucks, lunch, I encourage breaks and I understand that you're busy and it gets hectic and that there are multiple clients etc.. but don't tell me 2 when you really meant 3:30. The few times they were on time it was refreshingly surprising. Also shocking that one of the main field managers was in the military and would be late, I actually have friends who were on the elite Navy Seals 6 team, the ones who captured bin laden, amongst other incredible veterans and I frequently raising awareness on veteran issues, they are some of the most outstanding prompt timely people I know, so I would maybe not share the whole I was in the military thing unless your timeliness fits the bill, tbh (no detail too small). When I gave them the critique in person they received it nicely, but responded with something like I won't argue with you because that's poor customer service... Ok, yeah what about hey sorry for being late, thank you so much for pointing that out, we'd love to elevate the experience for everyone.. I understand not everyone takes criticism well, but to anyone reading this just know it's not a personal attack when someone goes out of their way to point that out.. in simpler terms, if you had a snot hanging off your face, wouldn't you want someone to tell you (in private / discreetly) so you could fix it? I would a little embarrassed but so thankful to that person for telling me. I digress.
On the workers as professionals with integrity: 3/5 I believe they knew 100% their trade and anything they weren't sure if they contacted their boss. They have integrity and respect for their job and the company. I felt safe, they were incredibly hygienic and always put on shoe protectors even though our shanty tile floor really didn't need that, but I really appreciate those little touches. They disinfected the area before installing our new water heater. Anytime they needed even the tiniest touch to perfect the job they would go out and gather the materials.
Price: 3/5. I believe it's on the pricier side, however I do believe it was fair due to the quality of their service and product. During installation a valve broke, there was a flood some drama, but they fixed all of that on top of installing a new water heater. I love when a company does not try to nickel and dime. As I mentioned above, they truly have integrity and love when it comes to their job and the company. They also gave us a warranty and said they'd come out to fix the pilot on the second or third year. They also taught us how to work the water heater and educated us entirely on how it works.
Installation: 4.5/5 they often times under estimate the amount of time it would take to complete something. I'm not sure if they just like joking around with each other but they said ~ he'll only be here for about 20 more minutes and he ended up being there for 4.5 more hours. I truly don't care how long it takes, but again... Just work on improving time estimate.
Final thoughts: I would recommend them, I felt safe and secure with them. I trust them. I would also keep it 100 and communicate exactly what you'd like and all that stuff, speak up. I felt like they treated me with equal respect to my husband - major huge bonus points cause I can't tell you how many men I've had to chew out and put into place and let them know who is boss. Yeah, I just won't tolerate guys who I contacted and hired to talk down to me and talk up to my husband. Hahahaha that's something I'm comfortable doing, I will bust down if ever there's any kind of special hi boss crap going on to my husband and them treating me like an inferior object.

Having multiple homes in Los Angeles I have been using Arlan Plumbing for all my plumbing needs. Roman does a great job of communicating with me and I am always satisfied with the work. My husband attempted to diagnose a problem with our toilet. He thought that the line might need to be cleaned out because it wasn't flushing well. Of course, that would involve removing the toilet. The technician came out and didn't check the basics of the toilet to see if that was really the problem, but went ahead with toilet removal and clearing the line. He gave us a price which mysteriously went up when he asked for a check. Bottom line is that our line was clear, so the problem was something else. My husband figured it out a few days later, but shouldn't the plumbing expert have looked at the basics of our toilet rather than trusting the consumer before he did an expensive service?
ARLAN plumbing are the best plumbing company I have ever worked with. They were professional and honest. They've done minor work and major work at my house.

Mark came by to help with a leaky bathroom sink, explained the parts I needed to purchase and charged hardly anything for stopping by.
I go to Home Depot, buy the parts, get home, look at the bathroom sink.... and I knew instantly I needed help. I'm good at many things and plumbing is not one of them.
Called Roman frantically because I tried to YouTube how to do it, water was everywhere, I had tools in my hand I didn't even know how to pronounce and sweet Mark came by AGAIN, and fixed it for me.
Not only was he patient, but incredibly helpful. Customer service was amazing and he got the job done in literally 10 minuets.

Mark came to fixed the water heater vent last week that was considered a safety hazard by the socal gas company when they did the inspection. There is no price to peace of mind and also knowing that these guys are honest, reliable, and very professional. He did a great job fixing it!
8/30 Toilet would not flush and was backing up and I called Arlan plumbing and spoke with David. He was able to accommodate my request and was at my place in an hour. He waived the service fee since they were just here few weeks ago. Its hard to find business like this who are customer service oriented and value integrity instead of just making profits. My water heater was replaced within hours, and they even disposed my old water heater for free. It's not every day that you come across an honest and knowledgeable plumbing company. We had a weird tapping noise coming from the pipes only in the mornings and we couldn't figure out why. We called Arlan and Mark showed up on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. Turns out the water heater circulator was incorrectly set to always on and blew the fuse. Upon resetting the tapping resolved.
Because it was an effortless fix he waived the house call fee ($89) for us. He previously worked at roto rooter and said it wouldn't be possible with them but Arlan is a family business and while they still need to make a living, they want to be fair.
As a added bonus he noticed my water heater wasn't secured properly so he help fasten it down.
My experience here is that this is a business with integrity. They will be my go to for future plumbing needs.

Thank you Mark and Vladimir for saving us again! Vladimir has been our go-to guy for plumbing issues for going on 20 years... Recently we met his colleague Mark and he came to help us out on extremely short notice.
Mark was prompt, very clean, professional, and very efficient. He also took time to show us how to deal with similar issues in the future; this is very important to us since we have young children in the house.
Everyone we have encountered with this company was extremely honest. When we had problems with our water heater, Mark showed us how to solve them simply and very cheaply... Its been the same experience with Vladimir.
I just wish we could give this company something higher than 5 stars, but thats the maximum. Use these guys once and you will never call anyone else for plumbing issues. I just wish I could find other companies with this level of trustworthiness and professionalism.

I had a major leak on my expansion tank above my water heater the friday night before Christmas. I looked on yelp and called several plumbers and got no answer from all of them. When I called Arlan Plumbing they picked up right away and said they would try to get someone out to my house in an hour. Sure enough Mark arrived and he was great. He put a temporary fix on the leak and said he would be back in the morning with a new tank. AS promised, he came the next morning and replaced the tank.
he was such a great serviceman and very knowledgeable! Also the price for the job was more than fair. I lucked out and will use them again, for sure!!! Thank you Yelpers!!

Vladimir was our technician. He installed a toilet in our second bathroom. He was fast, efficient and cleaned up when the job was complete. Price was right, all good.

Very straight forward service, they removed and replaced my toilet.. They also hauled away the old toilet.. couldn't ask for more. The Tech name was Mark and he was very courteous.
There's a reason everyone is leaving 5 stars and a great review for these guys. The service is just exceptional.
I woke up to a flooded garage from our 12 year old water heater. After doing a ton of research online, the only option was to replace it.
I spend a few hours reading reviews from a few companies and gathering a bunch of estimates for parts and labor. I spoke with Roman from Arlan Plumbing who was easy to talk to. Didn't try to sell me, just gave me the facts. He also had one of the lower quotes for a high-end water heater. Within a few hours, a worker, Harry, arrived and helped me drain the old heater. We then cleared a path from the garage and another worker, Steve, helped take down and dispose of the old unit and install the new one. It took about an hour and a half total and they left the place nicer than when they arrived. Harry made sure to clean the old stand and wash down the driveway which got a little dirty during install from the old unit.
On a side note, while Harry was finishing up, he told me he is a paranoid plumber as he meticulously checked EVERYTHING on the unit. Made sure everything was perfectly tightened before he left. He gave me his personal cell in case something went wrong but ensured me I would not need it. For a job like this, I lucked out by finding a company that goes above and beyond and stands by their work. Estimates are free. Do yourself a favor and give these guys a call. I highly recommend them.
Frank and Vladmir are absolutely ethical and professional. They responded quickly and are extremely honest. I'm grateful to them for fixing my water heater and evaluating for gas leaks! These are now my go to people!

I hired Arlan plumbing for a gas leak and they also found a dangerous water leak. They worked long hours and in the crawl space under my house.
Mark is an amazing human being. He goes above and beyond the call of duty and does so with elegance and humility. Pepe is a wonderful worker and Dave also magnificent. They are ethical, honest and just all around phenomenal people!
I wish i could give this company a 10 star rating. They showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and gave a fair price for installing a new toilet.

David was awesome!
Their whole staff is very friendly and professional. They were quick to get David out to fix the leak in my kitchen under my sink. He also gave some helpful tips to prevent the leakage in the future. I definitely recommend them and will be using Arian Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.
Great and responsive company. Roman called quickly (I think like 2 minutes) to help diagnose my problem... had Oscar come out to look for possible leaks...very clean and respectable guy.
Gave me some suggestion and opinions.
I will be using them in the future for sure and will pass along to my other tenants.

I had a problem with my bathroom sink, it was leaking. I tried to find the source yet the damage was already done and my bathroom became a quite a mess. I found Arlan Plumbing online and gave them a call.
Roman was able to send David the same afternoon. The issue was fixed in less than a hour and they kept my bathroom clean after they finished. The price was much reasonable than the other plumbing companies that I was quoted earlier that day. Roman followed up with me later to see if the sink was working fine. Truly easy and great experience all around and would recommend their service if you face problems with your apartment.
I searched for a plumber for a while to help with the remodel of my home. And luckily Yelp led me to find Arlan Plumbing. David is the best!! He was so great to work with for the few weeks that he worked at my house. It is a 80 year old house that needed all new water lines and sewer lines. We had some toilet issue and called couple of plumbers but were very expensive. Then we looked into yelp and call Arlan Plumbing. Ben showed up on time and gave me great price and Kohler product. Amazing fast and reliable service. Would highly recommend their service.
I switched over from Roto-Rooter Plumbing to Arlan Plumbing and I'm so grateful I found them.
Roman was able to get me a same-day appointment, was there EARLY not just on time, fixed the issue within 40 minutes and cleaned up and was out the door. I couldn't be more appreciative of a company that knows how to excel in great customer service.
He also didn't upsell me on services that I did not need, but that my previous company was pushing me to have done. He even gave me evidence as to what he did, how he did and why he wouldn't have me do the alternative suggestion from Arlan Plumbing.
Fair pricing and excellent service. Will use for all future plumbing issues.
We experienced ongoing poor communication, pricing misrepresentation, consistent lateness and/or appointment no-shows and extreme inefficiency. Ultimately, MORE THAN A MONTH after our original call, we finally had to call another plumber to replace our water heater - which was useless for more than 5 weeks thanks to Arlan's inability to fix it. We are also out $250 and basically have nothing from Arlan to show for it.
Adding to our disappointment is the fact that we sought these guys out based on volume of 5-star reviews. Just a heads up that not everyone that uses this company experiences professional service, so be wary. Be very wary.
In summary, I would specifically recommend looking elsewhere for water heater service.
If you do decide to use Arlan MAKE SURE you:
- WATCH them install parts, particularly if they are sent from the manufacturer
- DO NOT make any payments (even partial) until ALL the work is done
- Are prepared to be without heated water for lengthy periods of time if your water heater is the issue at hand
- Do your own research on water heater prices, don't rely solely on their estimates
- Be extremely wary of the $100 for $150 deal - they may not honor it (they did NOT honor it for us)
Please also note that I RARELY ever leave bad reviews, so for me to do this says a LOT.

In the past few months, I've had two overall amazing experiences with Arlan Plumbing. First , we needed to replace our old and damaged toilet. Vladimir advised us which one and where to buy the new toilet based on his experience. The same day it was delivered, he was there to install it and it's been working great ever since.
Then, weeks later, I noticed a water drip sound underneath the bathroom sink and also had a leaky sprinkler. Vladimir stopped by and was able to tighten the pipes to remove the drip in just a few minutes. Then the found the problem with the sprinkler and again saving my money by suggesting that I just buy a new connector from Home Depot. He was very upfront, informative and helpful. And best of all, it was FREE. Since the entire job took less than an hour and no parts were required, Vladimir did not charge me a penny.
I am very thankful for the guys at Arlan Plumbing and will definitely be using them again for any plumbing related issue!
We had an emergency water heater issue. Our old unit started to leak this morning and our relatives are coming to town for Memorial day weekend, what a headache.
We called Arlan Plumbing and Roman was able to send out a technician within the hour.
Frank arrived with a new 50g water heater. Replaced our old tank and only took less then 2.5hours.
He took our old unit away for no extra charge and my relatives who recently arrived didn't notice a thing.

Within minutes (literally) Roman responded to a quote request via Yelp. He gave me a free estimate and was ready to do the job immediately.
The next morning, the job was done, hassle free.
Vladimir (Roman's father) showed up punctual and ready to work. I got a 40-gallon gas water heater replaced by Vladimir. He did a few things that I didn't expect. He found some corroded pipe and replaced it. Also made sure the earthquake straps were tight. Put boards behind the unit so it is real tight against the wall.
This business is ran like a true family business, the way it was decades ago. No BS, no nonsense, honest workmanship and no unethical up-sales.
In terms of payment, they accept PayPal, which makes my life much easier since I am an offsite landlord. Not only did they get the job done the next day, they were able to beat the pricing of local competitors.

I could not be happier with my decision to hire Arlan plumbing to replace and install new shower and bathtub valves in my master bath as part of a remodel. Mark, the technician not only completed the job in a professional and timely manner, but he was very neat and clean. He went out of his way to explain things clearly. He took the time to cover his shoes when coming in and out of my house which he had to do several times. Overall, he did an excellent job! My main line was clogged and I literally couldn't use nothing in my house. I called to Arlan plumbing and they sent me Edwardo in less than an hour!!! At 7:30PM!!! We had, what we thought was a leak, and happened to be heading out of town when it was found. Not wanting to leave a leaky sink running and potentially disturb our septic system I called Arlan Plumbing in hopes of them being able to come out the same day. I had already tried a few other plumbers and each was not able to come out till the following week. Not only did they come out the same day, but they fixed the problem! It turned out to be a badly clogged pipe which was not allowing the sink and dishwasher to drain properly. Mark was the plumber and, besides being super friendly, he was also efficient and was able to identify the problem quickly to resolve it. He was also very clean and didn't leave any trace of a plumber having been there disconnecting piping everywhere. Thanks, Mark and Arlan Plumbing. We'll be sure to use you again!

Vladimir is who you want to call if something goes wrong with your plumbing in any way. He's prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, fast and affordable. To top it all off he has the biggest smile and the friendliest attitude through the entire process.
It's clear Vladimir not only knows what he's doing (probably even with his eyes closed), and not only is a joy while doing it - he also truly cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his clients. He is top notch.

I would highly recommend Arlan Plumbing if you're in the Woodland Hills, West Hills area. The guys responded to my call and were helpful in not only fixing the problem with my insinkerator, but also how to address it in the future. I will not hesitate to call them again in the future.

My experience with Arlan was very disappointing. I scheduled an appointment and no one showed up. I called to see if there was a problem and got routed to their voicemail - every time I called.
The Yelp reviews were good so I gave them another chance, finally got through and made a new appointment. The initial inspection went fine, but I was promised an estimate and never received one. After waiting a couple days, enough was enough and I contacted a different company with excellent results.
I hope that my experience is unusual and the other reviews are a better reflection of their work.

Roman did an amazing job at our property in Calabasas. He repaired a corded and rusted pool pipe. He was a great help in educating the board of directors as well as our department.
Greatly appreciate his customer services. He made himself available during the entire process. We have and will continue to use his services.

The most recent job was a simple switch-out of a garbage disposal unit. I've been very happy with their work on every occasion, they're easy to setup appointments with and to get quotes from. Their technicians are always courteous and professional. I'll continue to use them for anything that arises, and have recommended them to friends.

I used Arlan plumbing for an emergency plumbing problem. They were great. David came out accessed our problem which was much more extensive than we imagined. They had to dig up a brick pathway and fix bad piping that was never done properly. Juan, who did most of the work, was super nice and did a fabulous job. You would never have known the brick was ever touched.
I also used them for replacing a toilet last year. They were reasonably priced and did a great job too!

I sent a message through yelp and they responded promptly. I spoke with Roman who was very pleasant and gave me an appointment the next day to do the annual flush on my tankless water heater. He gave me a reasonable quote (about the same as most for that service) but when I asked if I qualified for a yelp discount, he happily says yes (every little bit helps).
Roman gave me a one-hour window between 9 to 10 a.m., but since this is a rental property, I asked if he would have the technician call when he is on his way so I wouldn't have to wait in the car for an hour. Once again, Roman was happy to do oblige.
A very friendly young man (I think his name was Brad) called me the next morning that he was in the area and I headed immediately out the door to meet him as he waited patiently for me at the property. He got immediately to work and when I offered to get some paper booties out of the garage (it was raining), he quickly went back to his truck and returned with his own supply of booties. Brad didn't complain that I talked his ear off while he worked, cleaned up nicely when he was finish and was on his way in less than an hour (I think?). They weren't the cheapest but they weren't the highest either. THE SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT and I will definitely use them again.

I rarely need to call for plumbing services and never wished upon to as I've heard enough horror stories about it but this company has really changed my mind! Starting with the responsiveness even though mine was a bathroom leakage that was identified later that it was a bigger problem I felt pretty relieved that I was in good hands from the moment Roman took my call to his guys coming out same day and worked with my schedule to fix the problem in a timely manner and explained the case. My bathroom toilet has been working perfectly since. I was able to refer them to my neighbor as well who was very satisfied with the service! No doubt I will use them again if I run into issues or refer them in a heartbeat.

We had a gas leak the day after we came back from vacation and I called Arlan plumbing and they were able to come out the same day. I had a broken toilet. First of all. It sucks, let me tell you. You have to go through the problem of discovering what's wrong, then negotiating with insurance companies, finally deciding that it is only right to go out and purchase one on your own.
Having said that, I purchased a toilet and was calling around for plumbers. I called three or four Loco plumbers who are quoting the prices upwards of $200 to replace a toilet and haul away the old one. However, I then called Arlen plumbers.
Not only were they exceptionally reasonable in price, but had availability that fit my schedules needs. In fact, Brad, was very helpful in accommodating my poor schedule. Within two hours technician Frank came out to install the toilet. He was extremely professional and extremely prompt on time. Within an hour, the toilet was changed the old one and hauled away and I now can alleviate myself in comfort.
The thought of going again in the bushes, was not appealing. Arlen plumbers made sure that I would not have to do that; again....

and they get the job done, what more could you ask for in a plumber.

After 5-6 plumbing inquiries with different plumbers, they came in most fair, most honest quotes of all. They were patient with us answering all types of questions. They accommodate our availability to inspect on site before they quote the jobs. They do not upsell or goudge with of any use of fear of if you don't do this.. you will... Their communication skills are A+, unlike someone could skirt issues when they start speaking in foreign tone. They work expeditiously with great workmanship. My tenant call me on Saturday the washer machine is leaking. We believed the water was back up from the drain.
I try to call 3 different company they all go to the answer machine. I call Arian Plumbing and talk to Roman. He help me to set up the appointment on Monday 1:30-2:00 pm.

After a month of waiting on him, MEN...I found Arlan Plumbing online and they got here the same day. Vladimir showed up, wishing me Happy NY etc, as if he was an uncle from the family tree (which would never be possible since I'm Vietnamese and he's Russian) and I loved it! I called Arlan to schedule an estimate to repipe my house. They showed up on time walked the house took no measurements and said they would get back with an estimate on a day or two. When I asked if he wanted to take measurements he said would get the host info from public records. It's been over 2 weeks and have heard nothing. I've called back to see if they are planning on doing an estimate and left a message. Nothing. I guess they don't need the business.

We loved him from the first handshake - never getting the impression that he was trying to upsell us (something I can't stand). He told us what we needed. Gave us options and solutions.
However, the MOST impressive thing about Brad was how he was able to negotiate with our very frugal landlord. Our landlord (although a really great guy) doesn't like to spend money and prefers cheap, ineffective, temporary solutions to long term ones. Brad was able to convince him of some VERY MUCH NEEDED work to our current plumbing and provide us with fixes that are, indeed, actual fixes.
I will absolutely be calling Brad and Arlan Plumbing in the future. It's no wonder they have such extraordinary Yelp reviews.

Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a plumbing company.
Setting up the appointment was not a problem. I had multiple offers and ended up choosing them because they replied first.
Had an appointment between 7-9am but they didn't arrive until 10am. That was annoying but I got over it. However when the technician arrived he immediately told me that he couldn't fix my problem until after he comes back at 5pm.
I tried explaining that I had things to do that day and didn't want to be at home all day waiting for him to arrive because it was more convenient for him.
I called the company once the technician said he couldn't do it and the manager said He will send someone else to fix my plumbing problem. I was annoyed that this was happening but I got over it.
The next plumber arrives and starts working but after like 15 mins he says that he needs a bigger tool and that will take him about 3 hours to get it.
5-6 hours goes by and it's not 5:30 pm and I get a phone call saying that the bigger tool is broken and that he needs to fix it and should be operating at full speed tomorrow in the morning.
If it will be fixed by 6am... Is it really broken!? Are you seriously staying up all night trying to fix this machine so you can ensure the 6am appointment?
Any company that lies to their customer and wastes their time deserves a negative review.
Just go to other plumbing companies that live and die for their reputation. This company doesn't care about their reputation.
My water heater would not heat on Monday morning at 9AM. I called and Roman answered the call. He told me he'd call back in a few minutes once he spoke with his technician. He called back within 15 minutes. That's good. He told me he'd have a tech to my house at about 10:30. Good again. Tech called to say he was a few minutes late and arrived at 10:45. Excellent communication. Great.
Tech arrived. It was Luis and Oscar. They were professional and friendly. Looked at problem and gave me a fair price. Told me he'd be able to do it immediately. I agreed.
Very happy. Great experience. They even gave me a few tips on maintenance of the water heater. Thanks guys!

Vlad has been our family plumber for over 20 years. I moved out of my parents house over 5 years ago and almost forgot about him.
I had a major leak in my kitchen sink underneath the garbage disposal. I called my dad over to help me fix it unfortunately to no avail. He called Vlad and he was over in less than an hour. It took him no more than 30 minutes to fix the leak. And also now my garbage disposal unit works a lot better. It's been over a month now and there have been no leaks. Vlad thank you very much. You are the best!

Plumbing is not something you want to mess around with. I had an issue with my drain lines under my kitchen. There wasn't enough slope at one intersection, so pipes were holding water and junk, backing up and eventually leaking. There was a lot of smelly water under my kitchen and my disposal was backing up.
Frank came over (same-day), got under the house and made a diagnosis. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He also showed me pictures and sketched the job out for me so I could clearly understand. I'm an intermediate DIYer, so I could understand the job, but was in no way qualified to do it myself.
The next morning, Frank showed up EXACTLY on time. To the minute. He did great work and the problem was solved. When it came to price, he wasn't necessarily cheap but he was absolutely fair. I've had cheap plumbing before and it lead to future problems.
The reality is plumbing is a skilled trade that takes hard work and you want it done right. He had to buy materials and was under the house for hours. When he was done, I got under the house and checked his work. He created a whole new route with proper slope and new pipe. It looked great, so I felt good about the price and the overall experience.
He also guarantees his work. So if anything happens related to his job, he would come back and take care of it, no problem.
Solid guy. Solid work. Highly recommend.
Had to replace another rusted up angle stop. Didn't even need to get quotes from other places because I knew I would get the best service from Arlan plumbing. They sent out Wladimir, he is one of the friendliest guys you'll ever meet! He was able to fix not one but 2 valves for me for a couple bux extra. Awesome deal! This is the second time I have used Arlan Plumbing. Edward was very knowledgeable. He caught a second problem and was able to take care of that following the repair for the initial call. The price was reasonable as well for all the work that needed to be done.
When I was remodeling my bathroom, the contractor broke off a piece of pipe in the wall and the broken piece was so small that they couldn't get it out. He told me dome bs story that they would have to tare the wall down and replace the whole part of the piping in the wall instead of that one piece. Before signing off on spending more money I called Vladimir. After a 30 minute fight with the broken piece he was able to get it out and saving me $3800. Nicely done! Will use these guys again, again, and again.
We had a huge leak in the garage anytime we had water running in the house (faucets, shower, you name it). Called Roman last night (a Sunday night, at that) to see if anyone could come out today.. lo and behold, Frank arrived after midday to check out our leak. He was thorough, fixed the problem within an hour and let us know exactly what the problem was. All that, and reasonable prices too for such a last-minute call.
Will definitely call these guys again if we have plumbing issues.

Called & made an appointment for our clogged & leaking kitchen sink. Edward came out to diagnose right on time the next day. After looking at the sink he gave us a quote and was able to complete the work the same day. He informed us what he was doing and why during the process. We also got an extra lesson about what we should and shouldn't be doing with our sink & garbage disposal. After a couple of hours our sink was working better than ever! We are very impressed with the professionalism, knowledge and friendliness we received.

Responsive for a quote but way too expensive. Was quoted $2700 for a replacement tank and installation. Ended up doing it myself for $500, and it took about an hour to install.
I'm very hesitant about plumbers, since i have been overcharged and up-sold before by a couple different plumbing companies. I asked for advice from my neighbor who's a contractor and he recommended Arlan Plumbing. I trusted my neighbor since we have both known each other for 11+ yrs now and the yelp reviews only helped.
The job was not over whelming, replacing an old water heater and installing a new water heater.
I scheduled my appointment Tuesday morning (9am). James from Arlan Plumbing showed up at about 15 min early and ready to help! By 11am the job was done. Since I had no use for a old broken water heater James took it to the recycling for me for no extra charge. The price was a couple hounded dollars cheaper then quotes I got from other companies. Thanks to good neighbors and Arlan Plumbing. I feel much more comfortable calling a Plumber now.
Called on a Wednesday for a non-emergency shower leak. They answered promptly, which is often half the battle, but I was told they'd come out Friday morning to check it out and repair and no one ever came. After the appointed hour passed, I called repeatedly on Friday, leaving my number each time, but I never got a call back and no one ever came. Three days of my time wasted.
Can't vouch for the quality of their work since they never showed for the job, but basic communication and reliability were terrible.

Unfortunately I won't be able to leave a review for Arians services as he never showed for my appointment today. He did not show up without informing and did not respond to my email or my call. Very unprofessional service.
I understand labor work and the price since I have done the same my earlier years so i was glad paying the price even if I felt it was too much and what made me to take two stars out was only the plumber negativity and nagging after about how he thought he is going to make more money and the person giving me the price made a mistake to the point that I just wanted him to leave asap and I finished the rest myself. He had worked a total of 9 minutes in my house and got paid $110. I had to change a stock cartridges and he had to pull it out since I was worried I may break the pipe using extractor. Thats all. Again I only had issues with so much nagging that made me very uncomfortable and I felt he is trying to guilt me to have more jobs for him.

Frank came by to install our toilet that was leaking. He found a loose washer on the tank, then installed the toilet, sealed the space around the base and cleaned up his handiwork. My friend told me about Arlan plumbing after I threw a party and someone apparently broke the toilet AND sink. The first thing I thought was how expensive it was going to be to get it fixed. But, the quote I got from these guys turned out to be 1/3 of how much I thought it was going to be which was amazing.
Arlan plumbing came over, introduced themselves very professionally, repaired the pipes and educated me on how to refrain these things from happening again in the future. Honestly, I feel like I got more than what I paid for. Although it sucks that it happened, Arlan made me feel good that it got fixed for that low of a price. I came home to find my entire first floor flooded in water. I got my usual plumber to come out. He completely abused the situation and gave me a monstrous quote. Since the amount he quoted was so high I decided to get a second opinion and contacted Arlan plumbers. That was the best move of my life. Turns out the problem was that the toilet tank was cracked. They solved my problem in minutes and for only $200.
I am so grateful to these masters for their ethics and high professionalism. I'd recommend them to anyone.
Highly recommend. David was very professional and was able to diagnose and the problem with my toilet immediately. It nice that they back up their work and parts with a 1 year warranty.
I had a great experience with Arlan Plumbing. I called them in the morning to come replace our leaking kitchen sink faucet. Frank was over to the house just two hours later and got right to work. This is an update to my previous review: They came and replace my shower handle couple of months ago. The shower handle broke again. I called several times to schedule another service. The only time they returned my call they schedule a service for Friday of two weeks ago, but never showed up and never returned my call since then. Terrible customer service!
Thank you Roman and Vladimir! Although I have a home warranty plan, the company could not get a plumber out to my house for 24-48 hours. We had a blockage/stoppage and the toilets were acting up and one of our clean outs was leaking. That alone could qualify as an emergency. But my husband is in the midst of chemo and today was a bad day and not one we could get thru without fully functioning toilets. I decided to forget about the home warranty and just get a company out ASAP! I found Arlan Plumbing on YELP and took a chance. Beginning with Roman answering the phone, listening to me babbling due to upset, I got humane, understanding, helpful treatment. I almost felt like I had called a friend with an SOS and they were responding with don't worry, we will take care of youRoman had someone, Vladimir, at my house in about 1 hour. Vladimir arrived, got to work, checked all 3 clean outs and made sure they were all clear. I could concentrate on just taking care of my husband again. I am so grateful that in today's world, Arlan Plumbing, made me feel heard. Oh and the price was the same that I would have paid as a service call with the home warranty company. Roman did not charge me any emergency fee, which he could have and he also extended a YELP discount.

I have used Arlan Plumbing for the past couple years and I always appreciate the response time, free estimates since most companies low ball the price over the phone to get there foot in the door. Appreciate that they are a family owned business. My neighbors now use them also.
Ive always had a bad stigma for plumbers believing their ultimate goal is to upsell and rip off the customer. This was proven right until I was referred to Vladimir at Arlan Plumbing. From the moment he came to inspect our water heater issue you just knew he was a quality, trustworthy guy who came to fix the problem rather than make the extra buck.
We were told by other plumbers that the internal piping system leading to the water heater was damaged which resulted in a lack of constant hot water. The quotes we received were ridiculous. Luckily it was not an emergency so I decided to keep doing my research and getting estimates. This is when I was led to Vladimir who ultimately told us that the burner on the water heater was damaged due to water accumulation from the rain. Better yet, he informed us that the water heater is still covered under manufacturer warranty and they typically replace burners. After calling the company, we had a new burner mailed out and Vladimir went ahead and installed it for us for less than $100. To think we were quoted thousands of dollars is shocking.
Thank you Vladimir for being honest and putting your customers at top priority. This is why he has remained our go to plumber!

I called Arlan Plumbing at 6:00 PM in the evening after experiencing horrible service from another plumbing company who made me wait all day and finally called to cancel. My issue was that my 4-year old RHEEM water heater was not working with the pilot light flashing 7 times after an interval of 3 seconds.
Roman of Arlan Plumbing answered my call. He was straight forward and said that he couldn't send anyone at this hour as all his crew were currently deployed at other locations but given that I didn't have any hot water he would try to squeeze me in first thing in the morning. Early in the morning Roman called our home to advise us that the RHEEM pilot valve was not available and that we should call RHEEM directly to get the valve shipped overnight and we should also talk to RHEEM's product support directly at (866) 279-4566 and see if RHEEM could perhaps trouble shoot the issue over the phone. We took Roman's advice and called RHEEM directly and the tech support at RHEEM, Kaetlin was fantastic. She walked us through the issue and got our water heater working again. The reason why I am appreciative of Roman's advice is because he didn't try to force us into buying something when all that was needed was a thermostat reset.
If anyone is interested here's how you may reset a RHEEM water heater pilot valve:
Turn dial to Low position
Turn Switch OFF
Unplug from wall
Wait 1 minute at least
Plug unit back into wall
Switch to ON Position
Steps 1 to 7 below need to be completed in under 30 seconds
1. Move switch from Low to Very Hot
2. Move switch from very hot to Low
3. Move switch from Low to Very Hot
4. Move switch from very hot to Low
5. Move switch from Low to Very Hot
6. Move switch from very hot to Low
7. Move switch from Low to Very Hot
After completing steps 1 through 7 you should see LED flicker from bright to low level and you should see pilot trying to light the burner.
The burner should turn ON.
If the burner turns ON set the temperature to Hot from very Hot

This company has many 5 star ratings and I'm sure the experience for those people was positive. Not the case for myself. I would have given a lower rating, however, the guys who initially came out to start the job were very professional and courteous. The issue was in scheduling and not being contacted within the time frame given. Continued work was scheduled to be done. On the day of the appointment I was not contacted within the time frame given as I was told I would be prior to arrival. I called to find out what was going on and an ETA. I was told that the technicians would be contacted and that I would be called back with an update. Still waiting for the call back.
As with the other low rating, I agree that management needs to work on their scheduling and promptness. Time is very valuable and should not be disrespected. My experience was very unprofessional.

Vlad is one of the best in the business. I had a problem with a valve and leaky stop. I found Arlan Plumbing on yelp. They were quick to respond, and came the same day! I really like the fact that when I called he was the one that picked up. I didn't have to waste my time explaining my problem to a receptionist only to have repeat myself 2 or 3 more times. He did a clean job, was thorough in his work and paid attention to detail. What more could you ask for? Please don't waste your time with these other people that call themselves plumbers, anyone can call themselves a plumber these days its a joke. This man is the real deal!

If there was the possibility of giving them 10 stars I would. Arlan Plumbing will figure out your problem, explain it thoroughly in detail and put together a quote that is the most competitive out there.
I had a bad leak under the house but took time to shop around for opinions. Not only were Arlan Plumbing the best priced, but it was clear that Vladimir who came to inspect the problem was extremely experienced. He was able to pinpoint the leak but also the cause. Some other licensed plumbers who came out weren't even able to spot the issues in my system. Vlad crawled through my crawlspace to better assess the pipe situation. I commend him for his diligence and willingness to get dirty in order to put together an effective solution.
They are incredible with communication, allowing me to alert my tenant to their work plan. After gathering a shopping list, within a day they had completely revamped the entire pipe system under my old house. They complete their projects too - No leaving behind old parts.
Top notch work, Integrity, a total professional and It's clear he truly cares about the service he provides and isn't interested in ripping off customers. Honest, fair and reliable. All round a pleasure to work with these plumbers.
Would definitely recommend these guys and more importantly, I've found my go to plumbers.

Arlan Plumbing to the rescue! We were experiencing leaks in our upstairs laundry. This was just weeks after a different plumbing company apparently repaired the problems. I was extremely frustrated, I took time off work only to have the leaks reoccur within the month. We were advised to us Arlan Plumbing and there yelp reviews only made our decision easier. This proved to be an excellent choice. Randy from Arlan Plumbing arrived 15min ahead of schedule and within a few minutes had identified the problem. I went out for an hour or so lunch and by the time I returned the work was done. Leaks were gone and best of all they clean up after themselves.
We now have a new plumbing company and without hesitation will recommend Arlan Plumbing to EVERYONE.
Arlan plumbing rules!! Had a backed up shower and Roman and Ramiro saved the day. They solved my problem and cleaned up like it never happened. I will use them for all my plumbing needs. Call them they rock!

An emergency situation arose. Tenant's sink was backing up and unknowingly to us the previous plumbing company installed an old kitchen faucet. The water was leaking into the cabinet below. Also the shut off valves were leaking too. Glad we hired professionals this time. It's been 3 months and everything works like new. I only needed a small plumber verification for something, but the response was immediate, I got an appointment for the next morning, they were punctual, polite and reasonably priced. I would call them again if I ever needed actual plumbing help.
At the end I managed to pull the hair our of the sink alone so did not hire them but the help they provided over the phone was great and deserves a review. By the short call I can tell that they are prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, fast. Thanks again.

Definitely deserve a 5 star! We had our water heater go out and although they couldn't come out the same day (since we called so late), the tech Brad was able to diagnose the issue with my husbands description of problem and knew the solution. We did call out two other plumbers that came out same day but they were charging an arm and a leg and gave a list of repairs. We called back the next day and tech Brad was available and even had the part necessary to replace. He gave us a great deal. Came out during the time frame he gave and was very friendly yet professional. He even offered to call the manufacturer so that we can have extra parts handy should issue happen again. We would recommend for sure and the best part... we had hot water again within 1/2 hour!!!

Great service, had my washer and gas dryer connected after we moved. Came quickly and on time, reasonable price.
Great service. Responded almost immediately. They serviced my plumbing and did a repair needed in order to install a new dishwasher. On time and on budget.
I ended up ripping the bolt from the floor trying to tighten down a loose toilet. the toilet became unseated from its seal at that point and had a leak every time I flushed. I used Yelp to find Arlan Plumbing and unlike the other places I requested a quote from, they got back to me very quickly with a quote and we set up an appointment the next morning.
Vladimir, the owner of Arlan Plumbing & Rooter arrived promptly at the agreed time and immediately started to assess the issue and begin the task of removing the toilet and re-applying a new wax seal. He was fast, took care not to create a mess or damage anything, and attended to the repairs with utmost care. He is tremendously professional but also very friendly and made the entire process fast, effective and painless. And after the work was completed, Vladimir made every effort to clean up and left the bathroom as he found it... better even.
I cannot recommend Arlan Plumbing enough. Great work at a great price and I'm very glad to have found a reliable plumber myself and will not hesitate to call them in the future.

Giving them a 2-star because Roman was responsive and tried to help, but ultimately this was a big fail. We spent 5-days going back and forth for an installation on a new water heater/boiler. After a lot of miscommunication on their end, they finally give us the right quote. On the day of the installation, Frank (installer) shoots me a text saying that the next day would be better because he needs more time and it will take more man power to get the job done. I tell him that's ok, but it needs to get done. The next day comes and he then tells me he can't do the job because he ordered the wrong water heater/boiler and doesn't have time to do the job. He tells me another guy will be calling me, but what he doesn't tell me is that it's another guy from a whole other company. The random guy calls me and says he doesn't know Frank and he doesn't know the situation. So basically, we had to start all over again and we just wasted a bunch of time. Don't make the same mistake I did and just find yourself another plumber who is capable of actually doing the job.

I have used Arlan Plumbing 3 times now. They have always been on time and even called before they showed up. This time, I had a leaking toilet and clogged kitchen sink. Roman sent his technician, Frank, who showed up on time and fixed both issues in less than 2 hours. I could not be more satisfied. I hope you never have any plumbing issues, but if you do, call the best at Arlan Plumbing. :)

Called this company when I had a problem with my kitchen sink and they sent David over within 5 minutes!!! He was able to fix my problem and gave me a great deal. I was shocked! I've had such awful experiences with dishonest plumbers ripping me off but not with these guys! Brad answered the phone and couldn't have been nicer, then David came over and was even better. I called to make an appointment for some plumbing work. I was pleased to be able to get an appointment for the same afternoon. Prior to my scheduled appointment, I received a call stating that an emergency appointment would take priority over mine. That was understandable. If I were to have an emergency, I would hope for the same consideration. My appointment was rescheduled for the following morning at 9am. The following morning- no call/no show. Because of the good reviews, I called this company again the day after my missed appointment. The agent seemed perplexed, since the plumber said he had made the appointment and even provided services! A new appointment was made for 3pm the same day. The agent assured me that Vladimir, the well reviewed plumber, would be at my house. I requested a call if he would not be able to make the appointment since I had other plans starting at 4pm. At 3pm, no show. At 3:30p, a different plumber called me and stated that he would be at my house in 20 minutes. I told him not to bother since I would not be able to wait.
This company has great reviews for their work. However, they seem to be in need of better management and have at least one dishonest plumber in their midst.
I contacted Arlan Plumbing to check out my water heater, because a pipe is leaking and the HOA told me it was from the water heater, and they're able to send someone over in very short time. Mark came and checked, but the problem was not caused by the water heater, he told me other possible causes of the leaking so I can talk with the HOA to figure out, and he didn't charge anything for the inspection. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Super fast response time and service. They were out the next morning on a Sunday after getting a quote late at night. David was very nice and informative of the issue and showed me what I shouldn't do next time I try to do some plumbing work on my own.
I called around, and Arlan had the fastest service available at the time, so I tried them out. The guy came out fairly quickly (earlier than predicted!), and was able to clear out my pipes and gave a good idea of what I should be looking to do in the future for pipe safety. Will be coming back for future service.
I was recommended to Arlan Plumbing by my neighbor. I needed a sewer line repair and I saved $2800 compared to the closest estimate I received from other companies. Joey and his team did the job in one day. I could not ask for more of a professional experience. I will use Arlan Plumbing from now on.
Roman was very kind and very knowledgeable over the phone, usually when I call to ask questions some people can be rude because you don't know what your talking about but, my experience with them were amazing. Thank you again!
Frank is the man! Diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently and came up with a cost effective solution to solve my plumbing issue! Arlan plumbing is super professional (put booties on before entering the house), and provided a thorough estimate and receipt.
Its always tough to find a plumber in my area that won't overcharge. Vladimir gave me a fair quote and an accurate estimate of time until completion.
The work was done in the time quoted and the finish was very clean. I will be using Arlan plumbing again in the future and recommend getting an estimate from them before you go anywhere else.
Finally... Arlan Plumbing is on yelp! Vlad and his crew have been servicing my family for over 7yrs now. It started with a routine installation of a faucet and turned out to be my families go to plumbing company. The prices are better than fair and the work is exceptional - what more can you ask for? Sunday our water heater went out of business. I called Vlad to schedule an appointment for Monday morning. Vlad arrived at 7am and was done by noon. That's removing and replacing a water heater! My bf was even able to shower with (hot) water before work. Vlad is a class act and his work deserves over 5 stars. Thanks to you and your crew for all the help.
I've used Arlan Pluming on multiple occasions when remodeling my home. Honestly I've had the best experience. The job always gets done perfectly and they always leave the area spotless as if it was untouched. Not to forget how polite they are. I will never go anywhere else. WOW! What a company. I had family over for New Years and of course our toilet gets clogged. We have 18 guest (family and friends). Sure we have 1 more bathroom but for all these people it's not enough. Not to mention kids. I called Arlan Plumbing around 9pm. Roman sent his best tech Vlad, who arrived right before 10pm. He fixed the clog in 20min and felt like he wasn't even there. The night went on and what could of been a big problem was easily fixed by Vlad and Arlan Plumbing. Thank you guys so much. I was referred to Arlan Plumbing by my neighbor. They did a great job repiping the kitchen and told me if I want quality plumbing service Arlan Plumbing is the company to go with. I had a leak in my toilet. I purchased the toilet and they replaced the unit with in an hour. Jim was professional and very friendly. I found Arlan plumbing on Yelp. After having nightmares with previous plumbing companies, I am very glad I came across Arlan Plumbing. The prices are fair and I feel they truly appreciate pleasing clients, not nickeling and dimming you for services I do not need. John came by to fix our leaking shower. He walked me through the process, explained what needs to be done and did the job in less then an hour, what more can you ask for. He even cleaned up after himself. Thank you and I will only use Arlan Plumbing from now on.

I had few plumbing issues at my house. Main one included upstairs bathroom was slowly leaking water and I just couldn't find the source of the problem. Arlan plumbing was recommended to me. We've used Arlan Plumbing's services twice already, once for a broken garbage disposal and the other for a leaking toilet. Both times the service was excellent, prompt, and affordable. I really appreciated their same day service because plumbing issues can be extremely stressful! Vladimir was able to come by, explain what the issue was, and how he was going to fix it. He also took the time to show us how to troubleshoot the next time we had issues with the garbage disposal which was very useful. I hope to not have plumbing issues in the near future, but if I do I'm definitely going to go with Arlan Plumbing!

Edit: Regarding the business' reply below: The issue outlined below is not regarding the price or the next day, end of day, availability to install. The product was specified when business was called and price was quoted based on that, one would think. If work could be done the next day, great. If product I wanted was not available, that should've been stated instead of trying to pass off something else twice.
Original Review:
Called them when water heater broke based on the high yelp ratings. Here is a brief outline of what happened:
--In trying to remove out the old one, guy punched a whole in it and water spouted to the roof of the garage. No big deal when asked what happened and wouldn't engage in conversation. That's understandable from the guy working on it but the one with him didn't say a word either.
--Brought the wrong new heater to install --not the one I specified over the phone.
--They went back to get the right one; I called and asked to make sure it was Energy Star certified (which the originally requested one was) and asked that they bring the rebate papers. They didn't know about Energy Star rebate.
--They came back and didn't bring (again) the heater requested. I told him I didn't want it or their service. Technician said he couldn't return it. I assured him that he could return it to whomever he bought it from.
--He said he couldn't fit it in his van and would come back for it. But they brought it in the van a few minutes ago...
--They came back and picked it up a few minutes later.
Maybe they're better at the other services they provide? Don't recommend a water heater purchase or install from them.
Best professional plumbing and rooters services I've had ever. I wish I would have known about this company before. I contacted the company to assess my kitchen sink and garbage sink. Mr. Vladimir showed up two hours after my call. He was very prompt, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to assess and fix the problem in less then a hour. He also went beyond his means to assure my dishwashing machine was working and double checked his work. Truly a man of diverse knowledge and with great experience. He assured that the problem was addressed and charged me a very reasonable fee for his time and expertise.
I made an appointment with this company to come out and give me an estimate for a job I needed done. The only time they had available was during working hours (5PM or earlier). I made the appointment and took time off of my work to meet them at my property. Nobody ever showed up. I called multiple times to see if someone was coming but my calls were never answered. I even left a voicemail and no one ever called me back. How disrespectful!!! There are a lot of other companies that value their customers and respect their time. DO NOT give this company your business. Look elsewhere.
My tankless water heater stopped working. These guys came out real fast. After checking it out, they realized that due to the storm and power outages, the system just needed a reboot. They did it for me and did not charge me a $. Wow. Thanks guys. Service and class.
Found Arlan Plumbing on yelp. They came out today to replace my faucet. Dexter has on time and professional. The price was better then other estimates I received. I will only Arlan Plumbing from now on.

I found Arlan Plumbing on Yelp and I am very thankful for the great service they provided my family. My water heater broke around 10pm last night. Water was coming out from the bottom and started to flood the garage. With in an hr Oscar came and helped us. He turned of the water supply and this morning came by at 8am to replace the unit. I have hot water now and no worries moving forward knowing my family has a plumbing company we can trust. Also they did not charge us a fee for after hours. Thank you again Arlan Plumbing and Oscar. I will recommend every one to you.

This is the second time we've used Arlan Plumbing. Both times Mark arrived on time and did a great job. They are reasonably priced and fast. I wholeheartedly recommend Arlan Plumbing and will use them again.
Frank definitely knows what he's doing. He was prompt and professional. Pricing was reasonable and we are satisfied. What more could you ask? He also helped us with getting a better handyman to help us with odd jobs around the house. No sales pressure on other preventative issues; he simply gave us the facts and suggestions. The only initial problem we had was with the dispatcher dropping the ball on a Sunday visit - but the work was great.

I had an emergency. My sprinklers broke and had a spout about 3 feet tall. We called Arlan Plumbing and they showed up about 30min later. Joey the technician showed us the problem, fixed the sprinkler and connecting pipe in less then an hour. With the whole water drought here I'm glad I was able to fix it quickly and the price was much cheaper then I expected. I was recommended by my neighbor and now I now why they only use Arlan Plumbing. Thank you again.
New home owner. Tap water from sink not the best and occasional brown rust/sediment blasts through the main faucet. Bought an undersink water filtration system such as I had used in the past. Installed it. Steady drip from the angle valve and filter cartridge repeatedly rocket blasting out creating cascades of water under the sink and surrounding floor. Try to unscrew what I installed to just return I was so bothered and couldn't get the parts I installed off even. In short: amateur plumber's nightmare and I was totally strung out.
Saturday morning call Arlan Plumbing based on Yelp reviews and location to my home. A few hours later Frank arrives promptly. My hell was his calm easy fix. Not only that but he preserved and made working the filtration system while keeping my ego in tact by changing out a part that he happened to have a double of and which he intimated was failing, hence the drip.
Extremely fair price. So much so I should've taken care of him, which I'll do next time I call upon his service (sorry Frank). Hope not to have tons of plumbing needs, but for sure they will arise with new house ownership. Arlan and Frank are my new plumbers. Wholly positive experience.
This is a great team. I'm pretty difficult to please and these guys did a really good job repairing my water main after a break caused by the recent rains. I watched the job pretty closely and I was particularly struck by the quality of the workmanship. David (I guess he is the crew captain?) is a highly competent plumber and his crew are both knowledgeable and super focused on the detail of their work.
I take a star off for the opacity of the pricing (I was given a flat rate a bid), which is an issue that is certainly not unique to Arlan Plumbing - this is a problem for all plumbing services.
Roman (Owner? Manager for sure) seems to have put together a high quality, competitively priced plumbing group.
UPDATE 05/05/2017: I actually asked twice for help with another plumbing problem. The first time I asked David. David never got back to me. After a few weeks I asked Roman, and he had David call me which he did, promised again to get back to me and...nothing. I notice a few no show reviews so maybe there is a problem there. Too bad, because the work is good and Roman was gracious enough to take almost an hour on the phone after the job to thoroughly explain pricing and how to go about getting the best quote. These are good people so I don't know what to make of it. Under the circumstance I'd have to say use with caution? You will likely get a good job done, if they show or get back to you.
I found Arlan Plumbing on Yelp. They installed a water heater for me. I saved $325 from all other companies I called to get a quote. No wonder they have such a high rating.

Great service! I called a couple companies for an estimate on replacing my tenets 50 gallon water heater. The price was more then fair considering this was on a Sunday. No extra charge for coming out on the weekend. From now on I will only use Arlan Plumbing. Wow these guys are great. Came out on a Sunday which happens to be 4th of July weekend. They replaced a water heater for me. They charged no extra fee for holiday.
I found Arlan Plumbing from Yelp after I have already gotten a few quotes from a couple of plumbers. I read the reviews from their previous clients and I was pleased so I decided to call them and had talked to Roman the owner. He immediately gave me a reasonable quote on toilet installation and had included a pick up of the toilet from home depot. He sent his plumber Mark and he did the job nicely and professionally. Vlad is the most professional, courteous and capable plumber I've ever used. The rates are far more reasonable than the other plumbers from whom I gathered estimates. When I told him he was priced far below his competitors, he just said, 'tell your friends'... Clearly, the focus is on long term relationships, which in turn leads to word-of-mouth referrals. I get the sense that I am working with someone possessing the absolute broadest experience in all plumbing-related issues, the man has seen it all. Mainly, I feel like the for once the contractor is being entirely honest and has my best interest in mind. I am extremely happy with the work and will continue to recommend to everyone who needs the services. The man can handle anything.
We called Arlan Plumbing on Monday because our dishwasher was generating a leak under the sink. Ben came out and quickly found the problem. The water was coming from the air gap atop the sink. He examined it and concluded that a gasket had worn out inside the air gap and it needed to be replaced.He also tightened hoses.Thank you for you professional service.
This is the second time I have used Arlan Plumbing services. My kitchen sink faucet was leaking and as a Californian during this terrible drought I can't afford to waste water or money for that mater. Leaks cost home owners and California! I called Arlan Plumbing and Mitch from Arlan arrived with in the hr. Mitch first fixed the leak, then installed a new faucet since my wife wanted an upgrade for some time now. Had an emergency repair needed and had a very difficult time tracking anyone down to help last minute but Arlan was very quick to respond and was out there within 30 minutes of me calling for a service request. The work was done quickly and it was very easy to go back and forth with him via text and cell to expedite things and make the process very smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend!
Vladimir, the owner from Arlan Plumbing, has come to our family's rescue for a second time now. First for an urgent water heater replacement and second for an unexpected leak with a faulty valve. I found Arlan plumbing on yelp and I'm very thankful I did. I've been using a different plumbing company for years now and when I needed my toilet replaced I called the other company and the earliest appointment they had was for next week. I could not wait that long. Arlen plumbing was able to come out the same day and install my toilet in a couple of hours. My sweet husband managed to get a pair of nail clippers completely jammed in our garbage disposal. We tried everything, even an oyster shucker, and it was completely gridlocked. Mark from Arlan Plumbing came out the same day fixed our garbage disposal in a flash! Mark was courteous, professional, and even told me how to fix the problem if it ever happens again. We will definitely use them in the future if needed, and would highly recommend to others!

I found these guys on yelp and called them to get an estimate to fix my leaking shower. I have also called other companies to shop around... This was a big job and I felt other companies were not nearly as reasonable. Not only was Arlan Plumbing the most reasonable in their cost, they also did an outstanding job. I could not have asked for better service and price. I had a shower leak that I needed fixed ASAP. Like any other problem I went on YELP and looked for some good reviews. Arlan Plumbing & Rooter was one of the 5 star reviews that I noticed so I decided to give them a try. Vladimir came to inspect the issue in literally 2 hours and was able to fix the problem the same day. Not only was the job well done but the price was unbelievable. Arlan Plumbing to the rescue. This is the third time using Arlan Plumbing. My parents are coming to town for the holidays and in spare bedroom, the bathroom shower was not getting hot water. I recently bought a new house and wanted to renovate the whole plumbing system. The house was built in the 50's and no major plumbing work has been repaired or replaced. Since the property is in the hills I was not going to take that chance, my main worry primarily was earthquake and old pipes. I was referred to Arlan Plumbing through family. Vlad and his team of professions diagnosed the potential issues that may arise and actually found 2 pipes the were cracked already. (dripping stages) Vlad and his team arrived 8am as promised the next day. The job was tough since the house is on a big slope. Arlan re-piped the main water supply, pipes leading to sewer, kitchen, bathroom - basically the whole house. The work was top notch, Vlad explained his work step by step and actually showed me a few tricks on how to avoid clogged drains and sinks, backed up pipes in the future.
After researching for a plumbing company, I decided to use Arlan Plumbing for my repiping of the guest house. Not only was the staff great, knowledgeable, but also professional. I was given an hour window which not only did Brad show up on time, but notified me 30min before. I also decided to use Arlan Plumbing because they are a family business with the customer at mind.

I was referred to Arlan Plumbing by my neighbor. He raved about how professional they are and how the price of there service is unbeatable. I scheduled and appointment for 10:00am and James arrived 15 minutes earlier. I needed to replace my water heater. The job took just over 2hrs and they even disposed the old water heater for me. Great service and I would recommend Arlan Plumbing to all my friends and family

I have a plumber friend who was busy but who normally does this service so I know how it's done and what it should cost. I liked their reviews so I called and got a quote that was right for the job. I am very disappointed that this company will not return my calls. They worked in my kitchen last month and for the most part did a great job. However, one pipe is loose and I need them to come back and tighten it. I have been calling for a week and they will not call me back. I spent almost $800 with them. They could at least call me back. I'm very upset that I am being ignored.
Great service and very professional. Our problems were resolved quickly and Frank showed me how to fix going forward.
They were very responsive and courteous and did the job quickly and at the lower range of what they quoted me. I will use them again.

The five star rating is for our service tech, Brad. He was flexible with my very inflexible schedule and was able to come out at a specific time instead of within a window. Our hot water heater needed a new thermocouple and he replaced it quickly. He was friendly, efficient, and very professional.
For the company overall, I would adjust my rating a bit. The cost for 45 minutes of work was $250, not counting parts. We provided the new thermocouple. This seemed high, and I should have verified this in advance.
As long as you are comfortable with the cost ahead of the work, you will not be disappointed with Arlan Plumbing.
Wow. These guys are the best. Can't appreciate enough how hard they work and all the effort they put into the little details. Will hire them every time I need help with my plumbing and will definitely recommend them to anyone out there who's looking for true professionals !! Thanks guys !!
Vladimir did an amazing job, he came by and checked everything out first, gave us some lower cost options that might help us save some $, and then came back on a Saturday and stayed a couple extra hours when the job turned out to be more difficult than expected, but stuck to his original price. He replaced our thirty year old shower valve and went to great lengths to not only make sure it was done right, but that the final product looked good, and he cleaned up all the dust and dirt before he left. Very satisfied, and he is a really nice guy to boot. Highly recommend

It started with a routine installation of a faucet and turned out to be my families go to plumbing company. The prices are better then fair and the work is exceptional - what more can you ask for? We had a major leak in the garage after just moving in. And after going though unpleasant experiences with our home warranty issuing plumbers who couldn't solve our plumbing issues, we decided to call Arlan plumbing. Made an appointment with Arlan Plumbing. Vlad and Jose came 15 minutes earlier to my surprise. We decided on a combo of snaking and jet propulsion water for the drain. They worked fast to clear the clog and checked the pipes with a snake camera. They installed the new faucet with supply lines and replaced the shut off valves. The price for the whole job was beyond reasonable.

We have benefited from Arlan Plumbing services twice now. This time the problem was a running kitchen faucet. Since we California's have a water crisis my duties as a resident was to stop wasting water ASAP that California can't afford to lose, not to mention wasting money also. Leaks cost home owners and California! I called Arlan Plumbing and Mitch from Arlan arrived with in the hr. Mitch first fixed the leak, then installed a new faucet since my wife wanted an update for some time now. The job took about 2hrs. I've used arlan pluming on multiple occasions when remodeling my home. Honestly I've had the best experience. Wow, these guys were great! We called them at 5:30pm and they arrived the same day at 7:30pm. We did express that it was as emergency! We called Arlan Plumbing when we received a CRAZY water bill and went looking for leaks. Low and behold, there was standing water in our landscaping by the main water line. We first panicked (being new homeowners, we didn't know what to expect!) When I made the call, they answered immediately, were polite and told me they would take care of it. Mark came out the next morning. He was very clear with the process as he started to dig in the yard. We weren't home at the time, but he called and texted me video showing me the irrigation line leaking (that had been capped by the previous owner under a previous driveway addition). I am very impressed so far. He said he would come back tomorrow to check everything out and make sure the repair was good. It's clear they stand behind their work. This company has great knowledgable workers, and great customer service. I needed a toilet installed that required some extra work underneath the house, as soon as Hector stepped through the door he was ready to work and knew exactly what was going on, and what to do. We had called another licensed company as well and the worker wasn't very knowledgable and seemed like he didn't really know what he was doing or saying (stay away from Rockstar Plumbing) they gave us a quote way higher than Arlan plumbing, like crazy higher. Roman at Arlan plumbing gave us a fair price and scheduled a quick appointment, they ended up changing the appointment hour last minute to a few hours later but compensated us 10 percent for it, which was great and very professional of them. Hector was a very quick working, kind, and humble man, he responded to our requests promptly and my family really liked him, he got the job done quickly and professionally in an excellent way. Its hard finding nice, knowledgable, and fair plumbers these days, and Arlan Plumbing stood out from the rest, overall I'm very pleased with them and will definitely be calling them again in the future. Brad not only arrived when he said he would, but was also excellent at his job! He fixed my running toilet, even though that meant driving to the local hardware store because he had used the necessary part on the previous job. Then I started piling on the additional requests: fix a leaking kitchen faucet no one else would touch - done. Tell me why my tankless was whining like a spoiled child - done. I received two warnings from DWP that my water usage was 6 to 8 times what it should be. I had another plumbing company come out first, to look for a leak.. They found nothing except a tiny faucet drip (which they did not fix) and they charged me $300. Then I called Arlan Plumbing. Art came out, found the leak (in my sprinkler system), fixed it, tested all my sprinklers, told me what needed fixing and what all the settings should be, and charged me $225. Big difference.

Vladimir, owner Arlan Plumbing is a stand up guy! We had the pleasure of finding out during a very unfortunate sewage backup at my father in laws property in Thousand Oaks. He was incredibly skilled, walked us through the process and even gave us tips on how to keep our drains from clogging. We are very grateful for the previous yelp reviews in helping us find Vlad. Thank you Vlad and Arlan Plumbing for being our go to plumbers.
After our kitchen sink backed up, a different plumber told us we needed to do a full hydrojet of our house. That cost us $1875. Shortly thereafter, our master shower started to back up -- a common occurrence for that shower, but now it was accompanied by bubbles coming up from the master toilet bowl. We called back the same plumber, and he said that probably meant there was a problem with our sewer line. He did a sewer line video and concluded that our sewer line was sufficiently degraded (from invasion of roots, etc.) that we needed to repair/replace it, to the tune of $6500. We decided to get more estimates. Of the four estimates we got, Arlan's was the second lowest at $4000-5000. We went with them because they seemed the most trustworthy. When Arlan's did their own video, they said the sewer line actually wasn't in that bad condition, and all we needed was a hydrojet of the sewer line for about $600. So we got that done. However, our original problem with the master shower/toilet (which we hadn't mentioned to Arlan's) persisted. So we called Arlan's back out. They cleared a blockage that was upstream of the access point they used for their hydrojet of the sewer line, and they covered it under the warranty -- i.e., no extra cost. Of course, that blockage should have been taken care of by the first plumber's $1875 full-house hydrojet (which Arlan's said they would've done for much less). BOTTOM LINE: Arlan's was both less expensive and more honest than our original plumber. They could've done a $4000 job for us, but they told us the job wasn't necessary and gave us something simpler and cheaper instead. We will absolutely call Arlan's first in the future. (By the way, the Arlan's plumbers who helped us were Frank and another guy whose name we can't recall.)
We had a leaking toilet that also wasn't flushing well. After going to the hardware store and buying a few wrong parts, my family found Arlan Plumbing on Yelp. They fit us in their schedule and Victor came the same day. He was competent, very friendly with a constant smile on his face and professional. Not only did he fix the toilet, he did a walk around the house and showed me my clean out and the price was beyond reasonable. I would recommend Arlan Plumbing without any hesitation.

Arlan Plumbing to the rescue. We had our toilet leaking and the smell was unbearable. Michael came out in the same hour. Mind you it was 11:15pm when we called. He stopped the leak and came back the next morning to fix the pipes under the toilet. Arlan Plumbing didn't charge extra for coming out so late which we really appreciated. I understand why they have such a high rating now. Customer service and prices are unmatched. I used another plumbing company before and actually called them first but no answer. Thank you Michael and Arlan Plumbing again. From now on we will only use you guys. Happy Holidays.

frank is a plumbing god ,very professional ! i called and got same day service for a water heater leak that was causing water damage to my carpet and walls these guys are for real , fairly priced, and even left my garage cleaner than they found it !
