These are not good guys . They tried to con us.  Here are their failures:

We had a faucet to replace, and the faucet company sent us the replacement.  Good Guys plumbing installed it in the same space and charged us $325 for less than an hour's work and no parts.  That night, the faucet was turning itself on and off with no one in the kitchen.  When we called and were connected to the plumber, he instructed us to turn the water off, and he was unable to come out for several days, leaving us without a working sink in the kitchen.  When he finally came out, he blamed it on the brand-new faucet and couldn't fix it. While checking it, he turned off the water to the dishwasher, which had been working, but then wouldn't work. When they came back out, they tried to blame the brand-new faucet for the leak, not their own work.  We got another faucet, and Good Guy chose to come out on a Saturday.  Then, they wanted another $400 plus an extra third because it was Saturday to install the faucet.  They chose to come on a Saturday, not us!  Such a rip off to charge us full price plus 1/3 extra to repair their own screw up.  We found another plumber who came immediately,  fixed the faucet, and turned the water for the dishwasher back on for only $100.

Please find a more ethical plumbing company.  This one tries to rip off people, while incompetently handling the repair.

Phil and Mike were great. If you're looking for solid work with no upsell, these are you guys. Thoroughly explained what would be done and then walked me through what was done. I was referred to Valor Plumbing by a friend several years ago. Henry is now my go-to plumber. His pricing is fair and his work is thorough.  Henry has helped me with various plumbing problems including water heater issues, a leaky toilet, clogged toilet and leaking pipes. With the leaking pipes, he even provided a video of the problem taken from under the building.  He is prompt, dedicated to excellent service and very knowledgeable. Henry genuinely cares about his customers.

The is a very honest, fair prices, fast, reliable and family owned business which is rare these days. I've been doing business with them for at least 10 years and they've never let me down and always solve my plumbing problems. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs.

NexGen technician (Roger) came out and performed a thorough inspection of our HVAC system.  Besides performing an excellent complete inspection, he was very friendly, caring and knowledgeable person. Simply a great person to meet. I'm starting to use NexGen for all my different needs. I highly recommend them.

Had a slab leak and went looking on Yelp for a local plumber and found SJ Plumbing.  

Owner, John came out and completed a pipe reroute.  He did an awesome job...from his professionalism, to his prep work and clean up and most importantly, for his quality of work.

I'm pretty good at reading people and could tell he is trustworthy, which, to go along with his quality of work, is why I would definitely use him again if needed.

I just moved to the area and needed someone to come and place a dog door in a door. Teo was super responsive and told me what to get, when he was available to put the dog in and how long he thought it would take. He got here to do the job and was very friendly, precise and hard working. I would recommend him to anyone. He is super responsive even on a Saturday night and Sunday day. Thank you Teo will definitely use him for other projects.

I found Michael on a homeowners' rating site where he had good reviews, so I gave him a call while I was collecting estimates to replace a toilet. I was able to reach him easily--I actually spoke with *him*, not a booker/receptionist--he asked the right questions and quoted a great price. Once the toilet arrived I called him back, and was able to book a date/time. Unlike other contractors, he called me back as agreed the day before to confirm the appointment. Today he and his son arrived on time and got right to work. Once he was done I asked him to make a couple of unrelated fixes to another toilet and the shower faucet. He gave me an off-the-cuff estimate for both, and did the work same-day. I hope I don't need a plumber again soon, but sooner or later I'll definitely be calling Michael again. In the meantime, I'll certainly be recommending him to my friends and neighbors.

Our shower had a leak and we needed a repair. We reached out to Activate Rooter and Plumber and they got back to us right away. We had the wrong handle and they provided the correct handle and explained what the problem was so we could better understand. They had very reasonable pricing and were very quick and professional when they came in and got the job done.

Warren was great! He had easy communication, arrived on time and had fair pricing. I will absolutely use him again.

I called Juan after finding him on yelp with good review, He came right on time as he promised. He found the problem right away and fixed them very quickly and price was very reasonable.
We called him again this week to install our new shower panel and I was concerned as I read the review on my shower panel that it is complicated to install but he took less than an hour to install them nicely with reasonable price. He is very honest and knowledgeble person.Thank u Juan!

Scott came to the rescue!!   Unclogged our kitchen sink in 10 mins..  Also gave us advice to keep it clean!  Very professional, on time, friendly and honest.  What more can you ask for.  I will not hesitate to use this awesome company again!!  Thanks again A-1!!!

Hands down the best plumbing company that has experience and gave very reasonable prices for the work they did.  I remodeled two bathrooms and Kevin and Juan were at my house for two weeks getting the job done.  They are some of the most knowledgeable and great plumbers around the South Bay.  They will not rip you off or add additional services that you do not need.   Hands down the best company that has been around for many years you can trust all your plumbing needs with.  Big shout out to Angie who helps immeasurably with scheduling and getting the guys to my house.  Angie you are the best and kind and friendly!!! I am so thankful that there are genuinely good, intelligent and respectful people left in the business!  Thank you Tony, Angie, K1, Juan and the rest of the team!

Saw elsewhere that Cody prefers texting, so I texted him about my clogged kitchen sink. Got a response within ten minutes. He said he could come in an hour and half. I was pleasantly surprised when Cody showed exactly on time. Not only did he quickly and efficiently clear the clog, he sealed and re-tightened another fitting beneath my sink without charging extra. Glad to find a local plumber who is so honest, reasonably priced, and punctual. He just won a new client for life! :)

Thank you James Jacobs of Superior Carpets for suggesting that I call LR Services Plumbing.  The service was very professional and they did come within the time window they quoted.  I had been using Monkey Wrench (a good company) for many years, but I'm glad that I now support a plumbing company that is black owned.  #buyblack #bankblack.
