Not sure what happened to this guy. He was responsive in the beginning when requested for an estimate. Waited for a quote, followed up the next day and no response. It's day 3 and still no response.. I guess no bathroom renovation from him. It's too bad, I was hoping to hire him since he sounded knowledgeable on the phone and had great reviews on Yelp.

It's very hard to find a good plumber in Hawaii.  Jon is efficient and does a really complete job.  I have had to call on Jon on multiple occasions for multiple properties and am very happy with his service and workmanship.

Donny is the best!  He is so smart in plumbing and so careful that I highly recommend him. Not only is he good he is so nice. I love the way he replaced all of my bathroom fixtures with a lot of thought and care.

I recently had a kitchen sink and faucet installed by Patrick with Carolina Plumbing, and I couldn't be more pleased with the work. I found Carolina Plumbing through Lowe's, but ultimately hired them privately because Lowe's didn't carry the specific sink I needed. Patrick came to my home to inspect my old sink before I ordered a new sink because I wasn't sure what size or specs I needed for my home. I am really glad I did this step because I needed a very specific sink in order to fit a garbage disposal and filtered water system. Once I received my new sink and faucet I called Carolina Plumbing, not Lowe's, and scheduled installation. We even had a difficult sink removal because whoever installed our old sink used gorilla glue to secure the sink to the quartz counters. The new sink and faucet are in place and look incredible.  I couldn't be happier, thank you Patrick for doing such an amazing job!

I should have wrote this sooner but anyways... I had to use them twice already, and both times Russel came exactly at the appt time. Nothing better then punctuality! Russel is a quiet guy but is very knowledgeable and professional.

I had to cut out my existing shower valve assembly from the back, but that entailed draining and moving the water heater, cutting out the wall and cutting the pipes in the right places because of the location of the valve and space/construction issues. Needless to say, he got this all done in about 3.5 hours which was perfect because I had to shutoff the water to the entire complex. He even put in my own shutoff valve in my unit in case I had to shutoff water to my apartment again. Would recommend to anyone needing a reliable plumber.

Ben and Dustin came out today to remove an old cast iron tub and replace it with a new one. Ben was excellent at communicating, arrived on time, and did excellent work. He will be coming back out to finish up with the fixtures after the tiling is done and will also be installing a new toilet and sink. Ben's pricing was very reasonable and I'd highly recommend him.

I don't give out 5 stars easily.  For a company to hit 5 stars with me, they have to prove multiple times that they are worth it.  Andres Plumbing fits that category.

I have been using Andres Plumbing for both large and small jobs around my house for a couple of years. While he is a small business, I'd much rather be buying services from a small business than a large plumbing company like Diamond Head Plumbing or Rotorooter.

I have found Andre's pricing to always be reasonable or cheaper than the big companies but his plumbing skills are top notch.  And, believe me, when it comes to things such as water pressure, sewer pipes, and the like, you want a professional to do the work rather than a handyman.

If you have a plumbing project, contact Andre.  You can't go wrong.

They came on-time and were very professional.  The charge was exactly as they originally  estimated. They gave me 1 hr window to arrive to the job site and came within 5minutes. I also switched the job site a day before but they were flexible enough to come to the new site. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

We were referred to them by Handy Andy and really, we're in their debt for it. We've had a lot of problems over the years with contractors; plumbers, construction, Hawaii is a hive of shady businesses.

Today, we had no problems at all.

They arrived early to assess the job, were back here on time with the needed parts and equipment to get our numerous jobs done in two hours less than was estimated -- and the estimate given was five (5!) hours less than another company quoted.

The other company wanted to send 2-3 people, too. Colburn handled it all with one. I guess that's the difference between professionals and amateurs looking to milk people for a quick buck.

The work was solid and cost-effective -- there was no upselling or fishing for additional work that needed doing, either. We got exactly what we wanted and weren't pressured about anything more.

Our estimate from the other company was $1850.00 to 2600.00, where as Colburn handled everything for 721.20.

721.20 compared to 1850.00? In less time, with less people and no hassle? Yeah, I'll take that, thanks.

It's worth noting that the other guys I keep referencing were one of a few other companies we'd got quotes from over the last couple of months; they were the lowest with the 1850.00 estimate.

The work was solid and the gentleman who did the work didn't take offense to my going over it and checking his work. I guess when you know what you're doing, why worry about it, right?

I sound like a gushing school girl here, but after so many years of bad service and professionals being anything but, it was really nice and surprisingly refreshing to have some work done without any hassle involved.

We just had a plumbing emergency and we called Larry's Plumbing. They were able to squeeze us in right away. If you are in need of a plumber, call them! The price was reasonable, on time and very professional!

My tenant had a leak under the kitchen sink that needed to be looked at. Ronnie was able to accommodate with her work schedule to meet her at the apartment as he communicated with me on the phone about the problem. He explained to me what the issue was and what would be changed to prevent any leaks going forward. I appreciate his service.

Jay has been one of the best people to work with. He is very communicative and will tell you what exactly the problem is. He worked very quickly and was able to install new piping in less than an hour. I would highly recommend him if you value quality work and great customer service.

When businesses commit to responding to you, I would expect nothing less.  Has the world changed where companies can pick and choose what jobs they do, what happens to us left overs people who need services but just can't get any because they pick and choose the more lucrative jobs.

I contacted them approx 3-4 months ago. They requested pictures of what I needed done. I waited a few weeks to be contacted by the owner. He explained they had a $125 fee to traveling time.  I live down the road but he said charge is still same even if I live near or far.  I said I would think about it.  Several weeks passed I decided I would pay the fee and called owner back.  Left message then waited few weeks for a call back. Asked him to come look at job I needed done, he said he'd look at his schedule and let me know when he could come. I think it's been approx 4 weeks (give or take) and still no callback.

Why do they advertise excellent services when they give none?

A simple courtesy call to say you don't want my business would be the professional thing to do.

Truly awful customer service! Told them I had a plumbing emergency, and they told me they will get back with me right away... Hours and hours later heard nothing from them so I had to go to a different place. My recommendation... Never go to Steve's Plumbing Service!

We called regarding 2 plumbing problems. They said they would CALL before coming over. They did NOT. When the plumber arrived, I told him to come back when we could stay for awhile (we only had 20 minutes) as I didn't want to pay for two trips. He said he could get them both done in 20 min. He couldn't. I told him we would not be paying for a second trip, but he came back and charged us for a second hour ($104) even though the TOTAL for the two trips was way less than one hour. And I had told him in advance we wouldn't pay for it. I sent in my check, subtracting the $104 from the bill. Never heard anything. Now, over one year later, I get a bill for the remainder!!! Ii would never use them again.

I give out 1 star reviews about as often as hot chicks hand out their phone number to strangers in a nightclub. Therefore, a business has to be truly awful to elicit my wrath.

With Drain-N-Rooter, I have never encountered a more unprofessional and untrustworthy group of plumbers in my life.

Two days ago, my place had a clogged urinal which needed servicing so I called Drain-N-Rooter hoping to fix the problem quickly. After the plumber arrived, he spent almost an hour fiddling around the urinal. Afterwards he proclaimed that he was unable to unclog the pipe and the job required more drastic measures. He said he would return early in the morning with heavy duty equipment to take of the clog then he handed me an invoice for $196, even though he accomplished next to NOTHING.

The next day the plumber was a no-show. He finally answered his phone an hour later and apologized that he was unable to come due to unforseen circumstances. Instead he'd send on of his associates to take care of the urinal. Ok, fine, I rescheduled an appointment for the following day and again the plumber didn't show.

Incensed, I called them one up more time and advised them, with creative flair, what orifice they should explore with their plumbing snake.

BTW, I called Diamond Head Plumbing and they came within 1 hour and fixed the problem.
