I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

I had a clogged bathtub and requested a quote. Within that hour they promptly responded and scheduled to come help.  It took Daniel a swift 10 minutes to clear my bathtub drain and he was extremely polite and tidy.  Usually plumbers take about an hour and overcharge you but Drain Daddy is a very reasonable price point and doesn't waste your time. I'll definitely be using them again for any plumbing malfunctions in the future. Mahalo!

At the end of 2015 when the Plumbers I contacted (including my regular Plumber) were booked totally solid through the New Year, Junior and Jay of Fast Rooter Plumbing astonished me by being able to come out the very same afternoon I called them to help replace a broken kitchen faucet, which was terribly inconvenient -- especially with our New Year's Eve party coming up the next evening!!! I had to leave voicemails for other Plumbers and they disappointingly called me back after a day or few.

Junior picked up the phone right away and set up an appointment with me later the same afternoon. As promised, Jay showed up and did absolutely stellar work in a quick amount of time . . . my wife and I just couldn't be any happier at all. This was the first time we tried Fast Rooter Plumbing and definitely won't be the last!

Fast Rooter Plumbing is highly responsive/reachable, professional, dependable, honest and reasonably priced. You just can't ask for anything more & we highly recommend them for any island residents looking for great plumbing service & workmanship . . . 3 BIG CHEERS GUYS ! ! ! Excellent service.  We had a leak in our master bathtub.  I called and they were able to come to the house a few days later.  They fixed the leak.  Bill was $200.  It was well worth it as our water bill was increasing due to the leak.  Thank you, Mr Hirayama.

Dan and his apprentice showed up at the time he said he would. I showed him my plumbing issues and they took note of each and told me what was needed to be done and got to work. Both Dan and his apprentice were very accommodating, friendly and professional on answering my questions. Once their work was done they cleaned up around each work area. Checked all of their work. They fixed 2 leaky showers , 1 leaky toilet. And adjusted my dishwasher.  Thank you Dan for the quality work!

Had a leak in our water line, Elika came out to inspect leak and fix the issue. He answered all of my questions on on the cause of the leak and what he suspected was the issue. Everything was professional from booking to service. Would definitely use again for any future issues! Mahalo!

Martin and his team made it so easy to fix my issue. My parents had a plumbing issue and since they are not proficient in English, I agreed to take care of this issue for them, from +2k miles away from home. He was very communicative and responsive, explaining everything from what they had planned to do by looking at the photos we had sent, to the problems that occurred while his team were at the house, and finally compiling a detailed summary of the entire process, beginning to end. Since I was out-of-state, I was very appreciative that they kept me in the loop every step of the way and also had the patience for me to explain/translate it to my parents over the phone. I understood the pricing and felt it was reasonable, given the severity of the issue. I felt comfortable with sharing any concerns I or my parents had because of the awesome accommodation they provided. I highly recommend this company for your plumbing services. We had several bids for our bathroom remodel. Accurate Plumbing was not only the most reasonable but very knowledgeable and professional. They made great suggestions to what materials would work best. They did the work in the blink of an eye and our beautiful bathroom was done just like that! We highly recommend Clayton and his crew.

Johnny is the best....we've called him several times over the years and he's always been able to come the same day for our emergency repairs.  No one wants to ever have to call a plumber, but when you have to....call Johnny!  He's very thorough, respectful of your home (yes...plumbing is nasty but he keeps it clean), and he also gives advice on how to prevent the same problems from occurring again.  Thank you, Johnny, for always coming to our rescue!

GP&E Consultants is a great company and Sid is so personable and professional. I had Sid's company re-do my kitchen on an extremely tight timeline and he and his company did high quality work on time and on budget.

The project included a complete gut of the existing kitchen, installation of new cabinets, countertops, back splashes, water heater, painting and flooring ... all in 16 calendar days.

I couldn't ask for more and was extremely pleased with their work. I would recommend his company to anyone that wants quality work done quickly and at a reasonable price.

They're cheap, but you get what you pay for. They took forever, extended the project, and left all kinds of trash and construction debris behind--barely cleaned up at all.

About $360 flat rate. Not the best option for a plumber for a simple job.

Sam at Roto-Rooter saved our christmas dinner. It was 3:00pm on Christmas Eve. Family was coming over at 5:30pm. When I got home from work, I found out that all our toilets and showers drains were backed up. I tried plunging for 30 min., I tried using Draino, No success. I new then, it was a mainline clog. After 45 min of trying, I looked on Yelp to find any emergency plumbers that were open on Christmas Eve. Thank goodness Roto-Rooter was open. Sam showed up around 5:00pm and was done with snaking the mainline by 5:45pm. My guests were running on hawaiian time. They started showing by 6:00pm. Thank Roto-Rooter and Thank you Sam. You saved my our holiday!

0 star. Joe did not show up for the estimate. No phone call and no text about his no show. We finally called him after half hours of waiting. He did not explain what was the reason for no show and did not apologize. Very disappointed.

Great!  They showed up early, cleaned it out quick and didn't leave a mess!  Just what I hoped for!
