So our shower head was leaking and leaking quite a bit, called leaks r us and got an appt by the next morning. Tim came out and did a great job. Not only professional but friendly and explained everything. I'll definitely use this business again!

Michael Grace and the crew were so courteous and professional.  They came in a re-piped our townhouse the next day after our pipes burst.  They didn't leave a big gaping whole in our wall like the last plumber had and they laid cement over the area that they dug up.

Mel and his brother Dave are top notch people. Besides being professional, personable, knowledgeable and hard working, you have got to check out Mel's van. He stocks the most tools, gadgets and supplies I have ever seen. Mel's brother Dave helps on jobs. Dave is very efficient and provides lots of valuable advice. Dave helped with a lot of complicated electrical work and he worked overtime to get it done. I was impressed at how hard working these brothers are.

Mel was given the tough tasks of rebuilding a kitchen cabinet sink base to fit an ultra heavy / high-end farm apron sink. It was a retrofit of cabinets I cannot order more of and he made ever cut with precision. The final product looks like it came from the factory. If any of you buy a farm sink, you will understand how difficult it is to install and appreciate Mel's expertise. It is very rare to find such good men and you bet they are helping me with more renovation projects on my fixer upper.

I called this company before using them for an estimate on how much it would cost to change a P trap. I was quoted that there would be a $120 charge whether it took less than an hour or not. Then there would be a $8 charge of a part. There was never a mention of a transit time charge.
The plumber had a difficult time removing the pipe so he ended up having to cut the pipe. Since he was already at my house I asked him to replace the fill valve in my toilet(I provided the part), then to check if the shut off valve was frozen in the yard (took a second).  When the plumber replaced the fill valve, he told me I should hang the rug that was around the toilet since he didn't make sure the tank was completely dry.  He went back to his truck to dry up the floor (I had to pay for him to dry up his mistake).  When I called to complain about my $362.30 invoice, I was told there was a travel fee and that GPS doesn't lie. Steve told me that he would deduct a few minutes, then asked me if I was a senior and gave me a discount. I thought the plumber was at my house less than half the amount of time I was charged time and not 2.7 hours, so I emailed several times that I wanted to know what the GPS times were but have never received a reply.
I had another fill valve for my toilet that I wanted changed but decided not to call them again. I watched some videos and it took me less than 10 minutes to change and I didn't wet the floor. I appreciated that they came quickly after I called and did give me several discounts after I complained but I wanted potential customers to be aware of the travel time that they charge besides the time they actually work at the job because I feel this is a hidden fee.

I had a main line back up that started a day ago. Thought that i would try to troubleshoot it myself but that didn't work out. Mind you, i had been communicating with Jack from last night regarding quote and availability. I was already onboard and then my phone died. I loved the fact that they were willing to come out and fix my problem immediately and that they were conveniently located on Waianae side. I read some reviews that mentioned not many plumbers are willing to come this side and if they did, prices would be $$$.
Contacted Jack first thing this morning and he came out within 30mins. This company really stands by what they advertise on their site. Here's why i say 5

Affordable
Jack provided me with a quote immediately with the breakdown of costs. On top of that, when he was onsite, he even gave me prices for other services up front. My initial quote was reasonable but because he couldn't fully remove the clog, he charged me less. He really didn't have to looking at how much work he put in, but its clear that he's an honest businessman and very much appreciated.
Clean
Him and his associate were very clean from the moment they entered my home, during their work, up until exiting my home. Shoe booties on, gloves, towel cloths handy... very sanitary.
Professional
Jack responded immediately to my request, knowing that I really needed to be serviced asap. I didn't have to wait for hours from the time i requested for them to come out.
Quality
First impressions are the best. Entered my home with shoe coverings, laid out a sheet to protect my flooring and whatever may come out from the pipes. He was prepared. He ran the camera line down my pipe to have a better perspective of what we were dealing with and to know the actual plan of action beforehand. I felt involved the whole time.
Trustworthy
Knowing that I'm a female with little knowledge of plumbing and costs. I never felt mislead or tricked with the costs. Jack answered every question that I had and for him to take the time to explain it to me helped me trust him with my needs.

Tanner and Stuart did a nice job replacing our master toilet with a nice looking Toto unit.  They also helped us with our water heater settings and ran a camera down our toilet drain to make sure it's clear.  Our toilet seems to be working great and hasn't exploded yet, so until it does, they have my recommendation.

I had multiple plumbing issues: plugged sinks, broken shower, leaky faucets, toilet leaks, etc. I called Furuta Plumbing and immediately got a reasonable quote and prompt appointment. Kai was very professional, polite, honest, efficient and clean! He left everything cleaner than they were before he came! He was knowledgeable and didn't mind all my questions while he worked. I appreciated his tips and the way he explained everything without talking down to me. He was so respectful and pleasant and efficient! If you're looking for a plumbing service that WON'T rip you off, leave a mess, or make you feel uncomfortable in your own home, call Furuta Plumbing! You won't be disappointed! I called Toby at Tsukamoto Plumbing....he called me promptly and took care of business !!! I needed a couple of new faucets put in ....an new garbage disposal put in and he did it professionally, quickly and explained why and how and what to do if i have a problem. I highly recommend him and he has a great forehand and slice serve in tennis too !!! Thanks Toby for a job well done....my mom is very happy with the work you did....aloha .......bob from LA....... Excellent service, communication, and value! I was able to schedule an appointment with the owner Nardo on the same day and he was able to fixed my angle valve leak quickly in my condo unit. He was friendly and professional, and very fair on the pricing. There was an issue in shutting down the water for the condo that I live and Nardo was extremely patient in dealing with this issue. He could of left and come back. But he didn't. He stuck it out through until the angle valve was replaced because he didn't want the valve to burst while he was gone. His apprentice Nuzo was just as great! 10/10 would highly recommend this company to others.

I just so happened to see water dripping down under the house as the shower was running. I thought to myself: Great, I'm going to need new shower values = $$$$.
Got a referral to Point Plumbing and gave them a call.
Kathi asked what was going on and asked me to take some photos to show her my concern and we made an appointment for Scott to take a look.
Scott came on time and looked under the house. He asked me to run the shower to see what was going on.
He said the drain had come undone, he went to his truck, got brackets to support the pipe and fixed it in-a-jiffy.

whew, no costly repair.  

Bottom line: I would call them again. (oh, and they are super friendly)

Side Note: when we remodeled our kitchen, Scott did the replumbing.  I just didn't know it until he said, I know this house.  Ha ha.

I called Malama Drains and Kaleo answered right away he was very polite and followed through with calling me back just like what he said.  He came to my house, checked out the situation I had going on with my shower got the parts then fixed it all in the same day.  I can not be more happy with the process and results....Thank you Kaleo, I will surely recommend your company to whoever needs a quick, reliable and affordable plumber.

I called them because my property manager recommended them.  She said they were reasonable and reliable.  And yes, they were.  

My only complaint is that the two young gentlemen that they sent need to learn how to be more professional and aware of the customers privacy and situation.  This is because they came through my gate without calling prior to arrival or calling out.  Just walked into the gate up to the house and they were promptly greeted by my dog.  They were scared and surprised.  Luckily I was right there and was able to grab her before she bit them.

I wanted a Rheem Electric Water Heater sold at Home Depot. Home Depot uses Kamaaina Plumbing to do the installations. Kamaaina Plumbing was prompt to give an estimate. The installer, Joe, took care of everything, picking up the water heater, arriving on time, removing the old one, installing the new one,  and hauling away the old one. The installation price was reasonable, and everything about the job was done efficiently. I would recommend Kamaaina Plumbing. This was my first time using Kamaaina Plumbing and happy with the results.

Mark came through like a champ! We had some sink and washing machine drain issues! He was on time, on budget and a nice guy! I saved his info because he's honest and a dud a job well done! Thanks Mark!
