I had Carlos come by one of my apartments to replace some valves in the bathroom and kitchen. He was able to cruise to Wahiawa short notice and didn't attempt to rip me off like Steve's Plumbing (AVOID).  

Carlos was prompt, courteous and reasonable.  I would recommend Ala Wai and Carlos for all of your plumbing needs.

A few days I had an incident where there was a small leak in my house and I had to shut off the Main Water Valve which is located right outside of my house.

Keep in mind that I bought this  newly built home 20 years ago and not once did I ever have a problem with a leak in my house so here I am trying to turn the lever on the Main Shutter Valve and it wouldn't even budge one bit. It was completely frozen and I didn't know what to do.

After consulting with my neighbor, he suggested that I get a Ball Valve and install it on the side of my house because he said if my house was to get flooded, the Ball Valve is just a Lever that I just had to turn right and not use a lot of force to shut the Water Supply to our house completely instead of trying to pry the Shutter Valve Off which is located underground.

Well finding a Plumber was a daunting task and trying to find an honest and reliable Plumber that won't bleed you dry is a gamble I had to take. After getting a lot of replies from quite a few Plumbing Services , some estimates were anywhere from $300 to $600 and that was just crazy but expected. Some didn't even want to give you a quote until they looked at it but then again you have to pay them for the visit even if you decline their services.

So enter Quality Plumbing. Plumber Tony texted me on my phone and asked me what the problem was. I told him that my Main Water Supply Valve froze and he told me to send him some pictures of the Water Valve. Not even a few minutes after he gave me a call and told me to just keep spraying WD-40 on it and see if it would turn and the.n call him if it didn't succeed. I even asked him how much it would cost me to install a Ball Valve on the side of my house Tony gave me a estimated quote over the phone and I was very pleased that it wouldn't cost me what other Plumbing Services were quoting.

Tony was genuinely concerned about my situation and that made me make my decision on using Quality Plumbing an easy decision.

He told me he charges $90 and hour plus whatever the materials cost and I was comfortable with that. No beating around the bush and straight to the point.

So we set an appointment time  and Tony arrives right on schedule. Tony was very pleasantl and cordial. Now in order to install the Ball Valve on the side of my house, he did have to turn off the Main Water Valve underground which was frozen.

He went straight to work and was watching him unfreeze the Water Valve and Tony got that thing Turning after 20 years of being dormant. It was like nothing for him to get that thing turning.

On to the Ball Valve, Tony went straight to work on the Ball Valve and let's just say he wasted to no time doing it under my supervision. No nonsense and got the job done in under an hour. I watched him every step of the way and his work is remarkable. That is definitely something I could never ever do in my lifetime.

That's why you leave these things to the pros. Tony definitely knows what he's doing and In the end, let's just say I was very very satisfied with what he charged me considering how hard things are considering we've been out of work for months now because of the Pandemic.

I was expecting to pay through the nose but Tony is a perfect example of what honest hard working Plumbers are and not the shady type that rip you off or do a crappy job.

Rest assured Tony is definitely going to be my Plumber from now on if I ever have a Plumbing situation ever again.

I was in need of a plumber and I came across their website from Google. Their website is what overall made me decide to give them a shot, it was a nice layout with a real professional theme to it. I was hoping for the best yet still a little skeptical inside (due to past experiences w/plumbers) All the toilets on the bottom floor were not flushing and I had no idea what to do. Luckily, OSCAR showed up and did a quick assessment of my problem. He was real professional and thorough while explaining to me how my plumbing works in detail to the point where even I could understand. He then gave me an estimate of the service he was going to provide (I like how he just didn't try to strong arm me into the job.. Once again... From past experiences) The service was superb!!! And as a single mother maintaining a home of 5.. he was helpful in answering all my lingering questions with all the plumbing problems I deal with on a daily basis. We even scheduled another appt for him to address a few of those problems.

So my first overall experience with this company was great. I'm just hoping it continues.. Cause I have been having real bad luck with not just plumbers, but men in general.. Haha joking. Thanks again Oscar

This is the third time we had 535 Plumbing complete work for us. This review is long overdue.

It is easy to get an estimate. Submit pictures on line and they will send you an estimate. Once you agree with the estimate, they will email or call you to schedule the appointment.

Pricing is fair.

They were able to come out the next day after I made my inquiry this time. In the past, they were able to come out on the same day. Depends on what kind of work needs to be completed.

They will call you when they are near to let you know they are on their way. They do excellent work. Clean up all rubbish. Very professional and courteous. They wear masks and socially distance.

I would highly recommend using 535 plumbing.

AMKO came to the rescue as Lowe's preferred plumbing installer.  We ordered a new shower enclosure through Lowe's several months ago but through a series of  unfortunate events (NO fault to AMKO) we've JUST had the correct enclosure delivered and installed.

The first visit by AMKO occurred over six weeks ago when Alex and his helper came to remove our existing shower enclosure.  They were prompt, punctual, friendly and efficient!  Alex was personable, knowledgeable and skilled in the quick removal of the shower stall.  What I really liked was they were considerate in removing their shoes and laid down a padded tarp on our bathroom tile floor to avoid scratching the finish.  AMKO was quick to verify and confirm the accuracy of measurements that were done by a previous installer.  Unfortunately, on this first visit, we discovered that the manufacturer had produced the wrong model and size so Alex and helper just removed the shower enclosure.

On the second visit, we were excited when Lowes scheduled AMKO to install the new shower enclosure order.  Again, Alex and helper came on time and we all figured this would close out our order and installation.  Well, lo' and behold, when Alex and helper opened the box, they found that the manufacturer had sent the same incorrect enclosure but this time, there were no hinges or handles...it was just a huge sheet of tempered glass!  Alex was surprised with the error and promptly returned the incorrect product to Lowes. Luckily, our home has other bathrooms so we could still bathe...uh, in case you thought that we weren't bathing in between. Ewww.

So, the expression third time's the charm is true (for us, at least).  We amicably worked with Lowes to correct the situation and Alex returned.  Gosh, after coming up to our home 3 times previously, he didn't need a GPS to find us.  He returned with another helper, Vladimir, and opened the manufacturer's box just outside of his van as we all looked on.  Hooray!  This time, the correct product was delivered.  Alex and Vladimir carried it up three flights of stairs and quickly installed our shower enclosure.  They made sure that they didn't leave a mess even though they had to do a couple of field cuts into the metal frame (they cut it outside in their van) and still vacuumed our bathroom floor and hallway before leaving.   Alex asked my husband to feel free to inspect the installation and his opinion for satisfaction.  Geez, we've not ever had a contractor ask that!  He even followed up (returned to our home) with us the next day, Saturday, to ensure their work quality and customer satisfaction.

AMKO is the plumbing contractor arm of Hawaii Building Supply which does excellent renovation work...ah, but that's another review.

Responded relatively quick to our inquiry. Had a busted pipe behind the wall for our washing machine and needed the repair quick. Ed gave me a good quote, gave me a timeframe on when he would be available and once he arrived was very thorough in explaining the job and making we had our questions answered. Would definitely recommend Ed and his worker for any plumbing job.

What the what?!  A plumber with office hours listed until five, yet answers the phone at 9:30 PM on a Sunday??  

Here's the problem:
Our plumbing was backing up into our house.  Google helped us to figure out that we should release the main drain at the outside of the home, which is brand new construction btw. Once we released the drain, all the sewage in the house drained out (It was gross; use your imagination here).  Our builder even came out to investigate if his plumber was the cause.  Nope.  Turns out it's the main sewer line and only a professional with an auger will do.

We did get a nation-wide company that sounds like Shmoto-Smooter to commit to coming out next day (even though they first said they could come out same night) but we really prefer to stay local.  Richard, at Rayco, sounds like he could be our guy!

Jeffrey was highly recommended by another business we were working with. He has years in the industry and it was the best experience. He has great communication skills, educates and answers all of your questions, and is so nice! And most importantly he knows what he's doing. His prices are reasonable compared to other plumbers we've worked with and we are grateful we found our plumber for our business! Highly recommend!

Had a few AC units to be installed in the wall and needed a new handyman service because the last guys I used for another project quoted me way too much (they quoted me the same price I paid in total with Sonny for just a single unit-- I had 3 to be done). Sonny & his guy did a fine job with our units and got it done within a few hours! Will definitely be coming back for any new projects I have. Great prices, quick service and cleanup. Thank you guys!

Sean has done a lot of work for me.  Different kinds of jobs and all done well at a fair price and with great communication.  He has repaired a ceiling that was water damaged from a leaking toilet that was above.  He installed a disposal that required a complete re-work of all the plumbing.  He also hung a giant heavy picture over our bed and that was no easy task, trust me.

I find him and his associates to be trustworthy, fair, polite, and eager to do a good job no matter what it is.

We had a leak in the ceiling and called
DOB and talked to Chasity the dispatcher and she walked us through our problem and was able to send a tech within a timely matter. Cameron the tech came and was very professional and got the leak repaired and we very happy with the service.

We've used him twice and both times we were extremely satisfied. Fred, the owner, is licensed, responsive, and professional. We liked him as a person and would definitely recommend him.
Both times, several years apart, we had him replace faucets and there was never a problem.

Main thing I want to say is that if you call this company, MAKE SURE you ask them about all the additional charges that will probably added on top of the actual repair charges.  I had a plumber but the plumber I had scheduled couldn't do the job.  He referred Glen Fujigami/Alco Mechanical.  Glen knew that I was waiting for his plumbers, but I had to call him at least twice to follow up as to when they would arrive.  They arrived about an hour later than expected.  The repair went well and the plumbers seemed professional.  The problem started when I received the bill.  The original plumber had quoted me about $400-$450 to do the  job.  Alco's invoice was just over $700!!  The actual repair was about the same price as the original plumber.  But then there were charges for fringe benefits, payroll taxes and insurance, supervision, and even an overhead fee!  The only reason why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is that Glen worked something out and the plumbers did a good job.  However, bottom line is that I will not use this company again.

I just had a pressure regulator valve replaced by Delta Plumbing. I called yesterday and left a message based on recommendations from friends. I received a call back at the end of the day. I sent him photos and he came promptly at 7:30 am, half an hour before the appointment time. He was done in less than an hour. It was painless on my part!!!

I had a plumbing problem with our shower . I contacted three plumbers in the Ewa Beach - Waipahu area.  Only one returned my call. He was pleasant but couldn't assist because he was booked up for weeks. He recommended Tui of Jewel Isle Plumbing.
Tui called back within 30 minutes and was able to come at 8 am the next day. Tui was so professional. He was on time, explained what needed to be done and then went to work. He fixed our shower problem within an hour and his fee was very reasonable.
For all future plumbing issues, I won't bother trying to reach anyone else. I'll call Tui.
