Best Businesses in Texas
Great sales support when your buying entire new AC system. But beware 3 years later when you need service after hours, on regular weekend or holiday weekend. Tried calling 25 times and left messages with every extension. No replies.

I used this company in 2013 and am so grateful I held onto the receipt. They are very honest and take their time to explain what is what and answer any questions until your completely satisfied.
I highly recommend them and will be using them again should I have a need.

Very prompt, professional, friendly and reliable. We appreciated the consistent communication. We knew what to expect. There were no hidden charges. The cost was exactly what was quoted. We gave David's business card out to our family and friends. We highly recommend this business.

Hot Water Guys hotwaterguys.com or call them at 832.673.0909. I strongly recommended them!
Both my State Water Heaters stopped working on July 3, 2014 (Friday). They are both 2.5 years old and still under manufacturer's warranty. We troubleshooted according to the owner's manuals and although we got the Pilot lit, it wouldn't stay lit. And after a few tries, the status on the gas valve would not even flash. We called 2 plumbers on Saturday, 1 did not call back. The other said that since they were under warranty, the manufacturer would send someone to address the issue. I called State first thing Monday morning and they told me that Labor would not be covered and I should call a plumber. 1 plumber called me back and said I would have to pay $250 each for each gas valve upfront, and that to replace them both would be $200. So he quoted me $850 before he even came to diagnose my problem. When I called State to confirm this, they told me that they would reimburse me up to $186 for each gas valve because that was the list price...so I would have been out $128 for the plumber's markup. The other plumber didn't bother to call back.
I got Hot Water's number from the list of preferred service providers from State. I told them my water heater symptoms and they told me it was probably the gas valve and / or burner assembly. They told me not worry because once they diagnosed the problem, they had ALL THE PARTS IN THE TRUCK! So I would not have to pay upfront for any parts and I would not have to wait for parts to be shipped! They explained that they charged the $145 for the first hour, and $100 for each hour after that. I was concerned about how much time this would take and they asked the technician (Kurt) right there and he said 1.5 hrs ($195). I booked my appt, they were at my house in less than 2 hrs! They called ahead to let me know they would be early. The actual work took a bit longer than 2 hrs, but they still charged me the promised rate of $195. My water heaters are up and running and I am so thankful for great companies like Hot Water Guys

Veteran Electric was quick to respond and was able to provide a same day appointment despite the fact they had back-to-back bookings for several days. The electrician quickly located the issue and provided a resolution to permanently solve the issue. I highly recommend this company!

I would give 0 but there is no option for 0 so leaving 1 star. I called for light repair. Caller quoted me $495 to have someone to come out to look. I thought I misunderstood so I repeated do you mean $4.95? He said $495, four hundred ninety five. Lol. Do I even need to bother asking further questions at this point? What a scam. As soon as I repeated $495 he just hung up the phone. Scam, bad work ethics, rip off.

My master bathroom light switch was not working and Eliud fixed it perfectly in ~5 minutes. He was nice, professional and courteous. Making the appointment was easy and quick and I got same day service in the time window they quoted. I highly recommend this company, if I need any more electrical services in the future this is my definite choice!

I used yelp to find an electrician at 6:30 pm. Yovani replied in about 5 min. He was able to schedule an appointment first thing the mext morning. He called 30 min before arriving at my house. Quoted my electrical problem, and fixed it within 20 min at a great price! All in all, i would definitely recommend this service! I'll definitely call this company back for my electrical issues in the future!

Highly professional local business. They did an assortment of work at our house and Robert's expertise on the phone was of great help. He sent an electrician and an apprentice to complete the jobs and they were both highly professional, knowledgeable, good guys. They got straight to work and did quality work. Could not recommend Bakenhaus Electric more...there is a reason people have been using them for so long.

I would recommend Ace services to anyone who needs electrical services. It was easy to make an appointment around my schedule and the electrician was very knowledgeable about what I needed. Very fair pricing!

After moving within Houston and losing power for 6+ hours immediately after I moved in, I started looking for a generator. I spoke to a number of companies; I had about 4 others come out. When Mr. King came out to give me an estimate, he was straightforward about what he thought I needed (didn't try to oversell), gave me his views on the generator brands, and was very clear about the entire process (including timing delays). While Brotherly Love's price was just slightly higher than the bigger companies, I went with Brotherly Love because I knew I would be getting an American-made generator and would be working with a family-owned company, both of which matter to me. When there were some bumps with invoicing, Mr. King handled the matter personally. Because they were so busy, I did have some trouble at times getting updates on the status of the install of the transfer switch (there was a nation-wide shortage), but eventually we got back on track. The electrical install team of Tommy and Chance were stellar. They worked hard, kept the area super clean, and answered all my questions as they went along. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure my installation went well and that I understood how the system works. While I don't have any electrical needs (yet), I will be calling Brotherly Love in the future thanks to my positive experience with the generator installation. I can't recommend them enough.

Appointment arrival was on time. Tech was efficient. Installed a Ring Doorbell in about 20 minutes, helped me with the app, showed me a couple of tricks, bells and whistles. Will be calling them again for our business account.

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Harmony Electric. Calvin went above and beyond to solve our issues. He was courteous and professional from start to finish. Truly one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Not only did he fix everything in the house in a very reasonable amount of time and at a reasonable cost, he also found an issue with some lines behind the house - this could have developed into a serious issue, had it been left unattended. Can't recommend this business enough and will be sure to use them for any future issues.
