Worst Pool Service I've ever had in 9 years. Blake makes all sorts of promises on the phone but has not follow through with anything. It's shocking that trademark homes has hired someone like this because I've had decent service in the past.

This review is delayed a few weeks but still applies to the stellar service of Paul Richard Electrical.
If I could give Paul Richard Electric more than 5 out of 5 stars, I would. The main thing that came from my project was that this company was 1) accessible and engaging, 2) reasonable in price, 3) service accommodating, and 4) adept in workmanship. They were quite responsive in working with me to provide quick service under a tight schedule. After Lynette understood my situation, she quickly connected me with Paul to coordinate service and pricing. Very reasonable, I might add.
I had several lighting fixtures that required installation as part of an interior enhancement project. Josh was punctual and quickly addressed my combination of track lighting, chandelier, and security lights to be installed. This was accomplished efficiently and effectively. Because of its positioning on a high ceiling, Josh made critical adjustments and centered the track lighting for best visual effect.
However, after Josh left, we took pictures of the just installed chandelier and were immediately notified by the design consultant that the chandelier needed to be adjusted down further. Our previous measurements were at fault - not Josh. So, a call was made back to Paul Richard, which Lynette, again, quickly coordinated a call to Paul. Paul sized up this situation and proceeded to schedule another visit to our home although the office was located in north Houston. Josh came back early the next day to lower the chandelier but within the safety limits of the wiring that could be allowed. This accommodation (service and pricing) was quite appreciated and showed the commitment to service inherent in Paul Richard.

The Mr. Electric team provided amazing customer service and an excellent experience. Their operator Jill was very accommodating and went above and beyond to work with my schedule as I was at the mercy of my plumber's schedule. Jeremy, their master electrician, came out very quickly and on short notice and was very transparent with no frills about the work and the price, which I appreciate. He was very knowledgeable and made an effort to make the electric work and my aesthetic come together. All in all, I plan to have their team back in the future when I start several other projects. Could not be happier with the experience.

The technician was able to come out the very next day. He was very helpful and described the problem really well. He fixed the issue and we have not had problems since! A very reasonable price. Thank you!!

I called Geovanny at 1:30 on a Sunday, he was here at 5:40 to repair a cracked exterior pipe/hose spigot. Less than 2 hours (and $375) later, he and his team had it all up and running with a brand new valve and welded pipe. Very glad I called him and will definitely call him in the future!

Outstanding service. Robert went out of his way to explain and make us feel at ease. If you want a family feel from an electrician go with these guys.

Ace Electrical Services is First Class! Very Professional and Personable! I used Yelp to send out quotes to 5 different companies and the owner Joel responded within 15 mins. Keep in mind this was about 9pm on Friday when I was searching for a company to come and wire up a transfer switch to my electrical panel so that I can use my generator to provide back up power to my home. Joel was not only the quickest to respond, but he was also very reasonably priced. I let Joel know that I would like to provide the material to save on some cost, he was very helpful and asked that I send him what I was looking to purchase to ensure the equipment would be sufficient for the job. Joel showed up on time, did a great job installing the transfer switch that ended up looking amazing!!! Like it belonged there! A very professional looking installation. He walked me through how to hook up my generator to the transfer switch and the proper way to switch the circuits to generator power. I would highly recommend Ace Electrical Services to anyone!!! Give them a call you won't be disappointed! Thanks again Joel!

Great service by great people. Jameson Perry was extremely clear of the issue I had and with the help of one of his assistant, they went to work. Customer satisfaction guaranteed.

Needed a power outlet installed outside on a brick wall. They arrived on time, completed the job in just over an hour, and left no mess. The job looks very professional and now I am ready to watch the Astros on the patio!

Cons:
- High 1st hourly rate
- If you don't choose to go with them, they charge you a full hour - very high price for a quote
- Very rude lady who takes billing info
- Contractor let me go to the store for him to exchange a product that he mistaken bought even though, in his mind, it was a flat priced job
Pros:
- Contractor they sent was nice
- Contractor did a good job
Full Story:
I called to get a quote for a 2 part job and the man who answered told me the hourly rates and that when the contractor got there, they could give me an estimate. The quick 10 minute estimate seemed fair and I asked how much the materials portion of the estimate was. Doing some quick math, it came out to be that the estimate was for 2 hours of work based on their hourly rates.
Now, the issues likely arise from miscommunication on both sides as I should have asked specifically but I had assumed that this estimate and work being done was on a time and materials basis based on the prior conversations. They assumed that now that they gave an estimate, it was a flat priced job.
The contractor that was sent was nice and did a good job but had no parts with him. Once he returned from the store, he realized he had gotten the wrong part. Thinking this was a time and material job, I offered to exchange it for him and get the right part. My trip took 40 minutes and he had been finished with the main, more difficult, part of the job for 10 minutes or so. He popped in the exchanged product and finished up within 5 minutes. Total time that the contractor spent quoting and working was between 1 hour and 1:15.
When paying, they initially were going to charge me for 2 hours. I had assumed the cost would be for an hour or at most an hour and half of the contractors time. After talking with the man I originally spoke with, we agreed to an hour and half which is still more than I would have expected especially with consuming my own time. Upon trying to pay with a credit card, the contractor called a woman on speaker phone to take payment details who immediately stated very loudly and rudely that they wouldn't take credit cards from me since I was getting a 'discount'.
I won't be using them again even though the contractor was pretty good.
