I am a very satisfied customer of Houston Electric Company.  I wanted to upgrade my kitchen with new LED undercounter lights and replace all my recessed lights with new LED ones that dim. The installers were professional, competent, careful and kind - a great combination for excellent customer service.

Adding our name to the growing list of VERY happy customers of Mil-Spec Electric.  Brett showed up right on time and gave me the price on the spot.  They were going to have cut a hole in my ceiling to do some of the work I wanted, but his guys took a little extra time and found a way to do it without cutting a hole.  It didn't cost extra and it saved me the extra time and expense.  All the work was done neatly and the price was the most reasonable of the three estimates I received.  I'd rate the experience an A+.

Blue electrical were very polite and helpful. I asked many questions about a ceiling fan install and they answered very clearly. On the install day, the work was done in less than an hour. Their prices were very fair and the work was done well. I definitely recommend for ceiling fan installs.

I had a great experience with Ruben who came to repair and replace a light fixture on a high ceiling above a steep stair case. He listened and then did his work quickly and professionally. West End is quite expensive compared to alternate quotes I received for the same work because they charge by the hour rather than for the complexity of the job but in the end you get what you pay for.

We hired this group to come to our house to consult on a number of electrical issues. This included wall switches getting hot, poorly lit areas and a pool pump.

Rudy and his team were friendly, informative and helpful. They did not try to up/over sell us.

Their recommendations were to replace incandescent can lights with LEDs, add a whole home surge protector and call an appliance repair company for one item instead of them trying to service a wine refrigerator. They also fixed our pool pump.

Overall, a good experience and in my view not overly priced. I'd recommend this company without reservation.

We had 5 recessed lights, a tv wall outlet, and bar lighting.  Very prompt, and professional service from the estimate all the way to the install.  Cleaned up as they continued through the jobs. Technicians were very knowledgeable of what they were doing.  Very happy with the work they did, would definitely use them again.  Very reasonable rates too!!!

A good friend recommended this electrical contractor for me.   I had a small job, and I was concerned that it would be too small.   I called, had an appointment the next day, they came right on time, did the job very well  - AND they were very courteous and professional.  The best news was that it didn't cost an arm and a leg.  Very reasonable.  I will use Joe Messina for any electrical needs that I have in the future.  VERY knowledgeable.

I highly recommend Sugar Land Electric - we had some truly slimy electricians come out to quote to run a line from our circuit breaker box. Worse were the way some tried to scare us in to way more work. We had one guy quote as much as $10k more claiming we need all sorts of other work done. He spoke to my wife and made her feel like if we didn't go with them we could get our lights shut off by the city. It spooked my wife, but Sugar Land Electric was professional 100% of the time weather talking to my wife or me. Great company and they did great work!

I remodel my house and Empire electric did an excellent job rewiring the house, recommending and installing all my LED lights and getting house back in code after previous owners freelanced multiple additions. Highly recommended for all residential electrical needs.

Got a quote via email for a small job. Gave the green light and set a date for the project and then that was it. Wasted a whole morning waiting for him to show up. Never called, never showed, never heard anything from him.

Not sure what happened. Ended up going with someone else to complete the work.

I have used Apex for many years and am a loyal customer. Leave a message and someone will call you back.  Very knowledgable, dependable and reasonably priced. He has done many small jobs for me,  and even replaced my whole electrical box.

Terrible!!!! I gave both stars for the receptionist.  She was professional prompt explained details.
My electrician,  was high,  and had no intention of doing actual work.  
The actual guy that showed up. .....took a personal phone call while I was explaining problems,  his helper, also great.  We had some lights that we couldn't get to work. ... showing up,  he never looked at anything,  had me re explain what I told the receptionist. .. And told me it would cost 223$ ×2 to figure it out.  He never checked inside.  Told me the outside light that doesn't work,  didn't work because it wasn't dark out?????
I swear he was high. .... even though we already redid the entire electrical box here. .
He charged us an hour labor while he came up with a quote. ......
,. He gave me a5k quote to redo the box and literally when he looked at the box was like wow, there's a lot of wires ?
He said it was just a light bulb,  so we replaced it,  when it immediately burnt out. .. He said our house (Built in the 80s) couldn't handle a regular light bulb it needed a Halogen?

Just moved to Conroe and needed some minor work done at our home.  Dryer outlet needed to be changed and ceiling fan rewired. Mr Electric was the closest business only 2 min drive from our house.  We called and scheduled an appointment for next day.  The electrician arrived an hour late but was super friendly and apologetic.  We got a quote, paid a deposit and scheduled the work for following day at 930am.  The next morning no one showed or called, so we called business at 11am. They said they forgot to put appointment in book and will send the electrician around noon.  130pm we called again and still was a no show. So we rescheduled again for next day first thing at 8am.   We waited and waited and finally the same friendly electrician arrived to complete job at 10 am (2 hours late).  The review would be one star if not for the friendly electrician.  Every time we called the business they seemed not to know what was going on and continued to say he was on his way and to give him 30-45 mins in case traffic. ‍ We will not be using them again and would not recommend unless you have a whole day to waste.

They charge a service fee for even local clients of 49.95 and when they get to your home the give you a crazy high quote that you feel pressured to pay because your already out $50.
