So I've used their services once and almost for a 2nd.  I'll explain.  

Recently, I started helping out a friend look after a property.  With that comes with helping with the maintenance.  Well little things go awry all the time and on this particular problem it was just a faucet leaking.  I called around and most places had a service charge, and then the cost of the repairs.  I finally found Trademark and they had a $99 3 year membership fee where the initial service call is waived and you also, get 10% off of all repairs.  It's a great service.

Leah, is my point of contact and she's always really insightful.  I had a problem with my only property wanted to enlist in their services again.  However, my situation was a bit more complicated.  But instead of just taking my money, Leah, explained what would and would not be covered.  This way I did not just waste my money.  With honestly up front, it makes it so that you can trust their work more.

Very responsive.  I had an AC condenser go out during July 4th weekend.  They came out during the holiday weekend to assess the damage and fixed it the next business day.  It wasn't cheap but the company is honest and does good work.  Will use them again.

Called this morning to get a quote for sheet rock repair (as their business appeared in the search results when I typed in 'sheet rock repair' in yelp). A rude man answered the phone and said, I think you called yesterday, we don't do sheet rock. My husband let him know we didn't call him yesterday and he replied, well we don't do sheet rock, have a good day with an extremely rude tone and then hung up in our ear!

How rude and unprofessional! I don't know what kind of business this is and I don't care! We won't be using them for anything!

*****Update: a rep from the company DID in fact call and apologize after I commented on Yelp. Customer service goes a long way in my book and I appreciate the gesture to try and make things right. I'm attaching a screenshot of the search results for Yelp's reference.

Great sales support when your buying entire new AC system.  But beware 3 years later when you need service after hours, on regular weekend or holiday weekend. Tried calling 25 times and left messages with every extension. No replies.

Poor customer service. I'm quite disappointed as I have used Trademark several times in the past with no issues, however, when I most recently contacted the company to schedule a routine maintenance the individual who spoke to me was extremely rude and dismissive. He seemed severely uninterested in coming out to check out my system due to it being too late in the year for a maintenance and he had several other customers whom had appointment as far as two weeks out. When asked what service they would come out for, as I was willing to pay this fee, he seemed frustrated when asked to details of the service that would be provided again emphasizing how busy he is. I will be taking my business to someone who is not bothered by coming out for a paid service.

I called Trademark Home Service for a slow draining kitchen sink issue. (A previous plumber was unable resolve.) The Trademark plumber snaked the drain & remove water from the venting pipe. Now the sink drains just like new.

Excellent customer service!  This is the first time using Trademark Home Services in Richmond, Texas and we couldn't be happier. Last week, the winter storm hit the Houston area. We lost our water and electricity. Eric from Trademark gave us a 2pm to 6pm window for Thursday, Feb. 18th. to get our water back on after a frozen pipe burst. Eric called at 5:30 pm to inform us that the current call he's on is taking a little longer. Eric got to our house a few hours later, no fault of his, around 1:00 am. He got us going, and still had another home to get to. THIS IS FANTASTIC, AND IS THE DEFINITION OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. Eric was absolutely worn out. Eric's shop to note, was also out of power and no water. Jason at Trademark Home Services and Eric are incredible. I now have a new and hopefully lifetime provider of all our home maintenance needs. Thank you Eric and Jason.

To this day I never received a call to apologize or work things out.

After my review, I was emailed by the same generic business email address that never responded to me for over an week saying they were upper management (similar to another upset reviewer). It apparently was just Jason appearing as upper mngr. Alexander/William.  They ended up not even hearing my side and immediately arguing through email (again like Jason), ignoring my request to give me a call to discuss my concerns since email was inappropriate (and I don't even know who is actually behind the keyboard).

I still remember and may not ever forget their shivering and upset apparently Hispanic/Arabic employee sitting out in the cold for nearly 2 hours on a busted microwave like a homeless man in front of my house waiting for his partner to pick them up, that left him in the middle of our job (ordered by management) to do another job late at night, after he long before completed his part and still needed his partner's help to finish our job.

And like other reviewers, the tech was very nice during the install.

After the level of stubbornness and arrogance seen in their follow-up, in which I've never seen, I'm now changing the review to one star.

As for the water heater quality, I am also not completely satisfied It can lose heat after a short time and you have to turn the knob to make the water hotter until it's the hottest you can turn it to, then you have no choice but to lose temperature heat.

Today was the .... Fourth or fifth time we've had Trademark Home Services out to our home. I am happy to give them five stars and a positive recommendation.

Today the technician (licensed plumber, licenses electrician, certified (?) HVAC tech) ...we had an electrical outage which turned out to be simple. We did pay $249 for 90 min of troubleshooting which took about 20 minutes. But, I was given fair warning of the policy, and I'll consider myself lucky that it wasn't 10 hours and an additional $1000 to repair something.

We have a maintenance agreement with Trademark for our HVAC (and water heaters) and the same technician was able to perform our annual, fall furnace maintenance check during the same visit. All good- no suggestion we spend more money, which I didn't know actually happened. I thought it was standard to perform a check up visit for the purposes of getting us to pay for some repair or upgrade.

Also, during the same visit, he fixed a leak in our kitchen sink. He was quick and so far the fix is holding !!!

The only recommended service was a whole home surge protector, which we may/may not purchase. There was no pressure whatsoever.

In our many dealings we have one technician who originally came out to fix one water heater - we ended up replacing both. The same gentleman performed the installation, as well as the annual maintenance.

The technician we saw today has been out before,  although neither of us could remember exactly what he'd worked on. Definitely a water main break - but other times as well. (No, this main break was not covered by the utility since it was inside the meter.)

But, it's very nice to see the same people working for a company. It speaks to the way Trademark treats their employees that we see the same people over a few years so far.

There are cheaper, and more expensive - but we will continue to use Trademark when we require one of the many services they require. And are likely to renew maintenance agreements when needed.

I bought one of their living social deals to come and repair my toilets and do a home inspection.  Toilets are fairly easy to fix, but one of my least favorite things to do and I never seem to know what to replace.  I felt good about the deal because a trained plumber can fix water levels and identify problems before they become bad.  He did a great job and fixed 2 toilets, checked 4 in total.  He did the home inspection, tested the water.  He identified a couple broken T/P valves on my furnace and fixed them while he was there.  Reasonably priced for a certified plumber (plumbers are always insanely expensive, such is life).  

I recently had a new roof installed and he identified the furnace hoods were smushed in by the roofers, so my roofers are coming out to repair it today (under their labor warranty).  

They have one of those iphone apps to scan credit cards.

They came to our house as scheduled and did the job very professional. Gave me much useful information about water heater. At the end We had some problem about one of the valves, they stayed and fixed it up and then left the house. I enjoyed and satisfied.

We had a challenging water heater replacement, and I wanted to do my best to pick a company which would do the work at a fair price.  Trademark Home Services had great reviews on several different sites, and I received a fair price quote from them.  I took time with Jason to verify the type of water heater included in the price, and it was a Rheem Professional Classic which was rated highly.  The install went well (thanks Eric), the price was as quoted (it was the second lowest quoted, with the several other prices being $200-400 higher).  So, I can recommend them.

I chose Trademark through the Thumbtack app after reading multiple reviews.  I was contacted by Jason and he set up an appointment to come by after giving me a quote over email. They were cheaper than most but their warranty and their professionalism won me over and we set up an install date. The install team arrived promptly on scheduled date and went to work without issue, completing the job in a timely manner, cleaning up all areas they worked in. I recommend using Trademark Home Services for any AC issues.

I dealt with Jerry on the phone and Eric came to do the work in my back yard.  They were both extremely courteous and professional. Jerry let me know exactly what I had to do in preparation for a dig to repair my sewer line. Eric was extremely helpful when it came time for a dig to start.  Jerry kept me informed about how it was going every night until it was complete and Eric let me see the pipe and asked me about all repaired before he did them. I am extremely happy and the prices are very reasonable and the work high quality. B

Called to get a quote from Tiffany on AC/ Heater service at my home. She didn't seem to know the rates and came back on the phone to tell me it would be $99 for each service. I asked her if I could use the $39 for $89 Yelp deal and she had to ask someone. I was told that I couldn't-it was only for repairs. It doesn't say anything about only being for repairs on the actual deal. It makes me nervous when a company's employees do not know the pricing of basic things and when they offer deals and then say you can't use them. I'll look elsewhere.

The outside unit part of the A/C went out and caused the breakers and the wires to burn.  Because the inside unit was old we were looking to replace both if the price was right.  I talked with Jason and he thoroughly explained everything.  He also took the time to explain again anything I was not sure about.  Working with him before installation was great.  Also the technicians who installed were very knowledgeable and did a great job and answered any questions I had at the time.

Our A/C went out and our landlord called Trademark on Friday morning. They arrived in time frame they said they would, they diagnosed the problem and reported the cost to our landlord. Once our landlord gave them the go ahead at 2:00 pm they called Trademark to come out that evening. They showed up on time, worked in the dark all evening and got us up and running before they left. Luis and Ruben were our techs and they both showed respect for our home and informed us of the progress every step of the way and came over the next morning to top of the Freon and assured everything was running properly. Trademark is a truly customer focused company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future!

I recently purchased a home with a gas log fireplace. Before I fired it up for winter, I wanted to have it checked out to make sure it was safe. A great deal was offered through Angie's List, and I decided to take them up on their offer, which turned out to be an excellent decision.

Our service tech, Jason, showed up right on time. He was very courteous and called with an estimated time of arrival well in advance.

Upon inspection, Jason pointed out a few issues that existed within my system, but he didn't stop there. He showed me what was wrong, explained why it was an issue, and gave me options to cure the existing issues.

End result- I couldn't be happier. After a brief consultation, Jason constructed a gas log system that is absolutely perfect for my application. With my first experience going this well, I look forward to several more in my future.

Worst Pool Service I've ever had in 9 years. Blake makes all sorts of promises on the phone but has not follow through with anything. It's shocking that trademark homes has hired someone like this because I've had decent service in the past.

This pool company has been horrible to deal with. I have been using their pool service for a couple years now and it has gotten so bad recently.  The phone receptionist seems nice but never follows up when there is an issue.  Maybe because the pool company is now a separate business...but this is still a subsidiary of Trademark.  The new pool supervisor, Blake, is full of empty promises and what he calls giving you deals like service at cost, free filter cleanings and etc, to try and make up for his horrible service.  I question if he even knows anything about pools.  I dont want at cost pool service (which is still paying for nothing because there is no service). My pool is green and this company is not qualified.  Do not use them.

Jason was the service tech who came to do the fireplace inspection.  He was thorough, friendly and extremely knowledgeable.  He made several suggestions on ways to upgrade the fireplace, and did a walk through the house when I asked about other upgrades we're considering.  I would definitely use these guys again.

During a thunderstorm last night, something must have surged through the garage. This morning we had no power in the outlets or lights, and no power in the lights of the attached laundry room. I checked the breaker and nothing had tripped, but I flipped them off and back on anyway. Nothing.

I called up THS and spoke to Amy, who suggested I check the GFCI outlets and the breaker box again. If something was even slightly tripped I may not have noticed and by flipping them again I could save money. Following her advice I went out the breaker again and checked, but again, nothing. Then I checked the outlets again and I found that the ceiling outlet that the garage door opener was plugged into was a GFCI outlet, and it had tripped!

Thanks to Amy I saved the cost of the service call and have working electricity. I appreciate the helpful insight!

Trademark arrived as promised which was after normal business hours.   While the repairs were major that was needed they installed a complete new HVAC the next day   I appreciate the fast friendly service and more importantly the new electric heat comfort the next morning.  I would certainly do business with them again.   Keep up the good work!!

My husband hired them based upon the Angie List reviews. I think he/we made a mistake. Actually, I know he/we made a mistake. Our hot water heater died, and we hired them to replace our old one. It sounds like a simple fix. Wrong! In less than a week, we had to call them out twice because we didn't have any hot water. The owner told me that they were going to come out one night, and they never showed up. He then told my husband the next morning that I misunderstood him. No, what you did was lie sir. I went to take a shower tonight, and we do not have any hot water. Looks like we will be calling them for the 3rd time now. Did I mention that he have not even had this top of the line water heater for less than a week? I wish we would have another contractor $1000 to put in a new hot water heater.  I know not having hot water isn't a huge issue in life in general. I really hope that we just have some freaky dud water heater, and that all of their products and services are not what we have experienced so far.

Pros:

- They offer a 10 year warranty on water heaters.
- They answer and return phone calls.

Trademark Home Services is a great company. They care about the customer and it shows! From the moment I contacted them and spoke to Lia, I felt confident about hiring them to replace our hot water heater. I had a lot of questions, but Lia was very knowledgeable (and patient) and made sure I understood everything including all possible pricing scenarios. She coordinated same day service, called when the installers were on the way and even called later in the evening to make sure the job was done to satisfaction. Besides offering awesome customer service, their technicians are also top notch! Marcelle and another installer (sorry, didn't get his name) did a great job in a reasonable amount of time and we couldn't be happier. Last, but definitely not least, their pricing is very competitive -- it was half the cost of my first bid...SWEET!

So as a follow-up to the first time one of their reps (Jason) came out to provide services, it's been nothing but top-shelf. His recommendations on services that were better suited for our house have been spot-on, and the follow-up techs (Donald & James?) were prompt and equally as competent and helpful. They also recommended services that were better suited to the issues we had, and in fact were able to reduce the cost of the service.

And just to top it off, I actually don't cringe when I call their front-office for assistance, as can happen sometimes when you call asking for help. In fact, it really has been a pleasure working with Lia & Amy, who have been very helpful & patient in answering my questions and responding to requests. In fact, I was calling to verify service but forgot that I was calling after hours; didn't matter, Lia responded and called me, still working late, and was able to verify the information I needed.

They're local, honest, technically competent (and licensed) and I can't recommend them enough. We'll definitely continue to use them in the future.

I contacted Trademark Homes Services after speaking with several other companies about replacing my central air and heating system.  Once I got in contact with Jason, I was able to get the information and pricing I needed in order to replace my system. Jason sent me a detailed and thorough breakdown of all charges that would be incurred.  He was able to answer all of my questions.  I felt confident that he had my best interest at hand and was providing me the best pricing available. Jason made sure I had a clear understanding of what each step would involve in get my system installed. Once the Technicians came out, they were efficient and advised of each step through the process of the installation.  I could not have had a better experience throughout this process. I would have no problem recommending them to friends and family. I have another home that will need to have the central air and heating upgraded and I plan on using Trademark Homes Services again.  Thanks for this smooth installation.

Called requesting a plumber to fix a simple clogged up kitchen sink. A guy showed up with only 25 ft snake. After snaking the sink, it appeared to have fixed the problem. The next day the sink was backing up again but not taking as long and draining faster. Called, as based on their 30 day warranty, and requested for them to come back with a longer snake. A guy who was NOT a plumber showed up, looked at pipes and watched water drain but did not do any work.
After a couple of days, I called again and was told I will be charged $300+ to send camera down the pipe. Logic follows that if 25 ft snake only partially fixed the problem, a longer snake or going from outside should work to which they responded of a lecture about how they normally charge $200+ for snaking the sink (a blatant lie since when I initially called, I was quoted $129).....Told me they will call me back with 'a new quote' and never heard from them again. Had to call a different company who came in with a longer snake and snaked the sink fixing the problem.
Inexcusable business practices, misleading and horrible customer service.

EDITED: to add that after I filed a complaint, I did receive a full refund as well as an apology for any mistakes/confusion.

I had them come out and replace a hot water at a descent price but their installer pulled the vent pipe out and now when it rains water runs down into the heater and they offered to fix it for another 129.00 I have replaced the hotwater heater several times and have never had to pull the pipe out and break the seal was told by the company they would do it for 99.00 since the guy never mentioned but after some negotiation they did decide to repair at their expense, although I was told it needed  repaired from the inside they repaired it from the outside I guess I will find out the next heavy rain.  They seem to care about their reputation which is a good thing, hopefully it is ok  .

I gave Erich my wife's honey-do list and she said he was awesome. We purchased 2 hrs for $89 from Angie's List. In 2 hours he re-attached siding on our house and base boards in our son's closet, fixed our refrigerator handle and installed blinds in our laundry room. I think he did even more, but I'd left for work and left my wife to give him whatever else she needed done.

I called Trademark Home Services to diagnose my fireplace. The technician not only checked the fireplace but also other plumbing in the house and noticed that pressure valve on one of the water heaters is not working. As far as the fireplace, after reading some DIY forums  I personally thought that the problem is the faulty wall switch. I was worried that the service company may try to sell me unnecessary repairs since only my tenant was present in the house during the service call. To my satisfaction the technician diagnosed exactly that - the faulty wall switch, which is the simplest and easiest to repair. They went above and beyond to accommodate all my request. The customer service was excellent. I can definitely recommend them for any plumbing related jobs.

I received an email from Angie's List re: a gas fireplace tune-up offer from Trademark Home Services.  After reading other Trademark reviews I crossed my fingers that Jason would be the one assigned to my request.  Sure enough, luck was on my side (for once).  Jason was very knowledgeable but talked to me in terms I could understand...he was also very personable and professional.   Gas Valve replacement and fireplace refurbishment was recommended.  Service was arranged in a timely matter and at that point I was introduced to Eric G. and a new employee by the name of Rob who was riding shotgun with Jason while in training.  I was extremely pleased with the service and repairs performed by all three gentlemen.  Signed up for the Trademark Home Protection program for the furnace tune-up...may add other protection options in the future.

Jason came out and checked my AC and found it to be in good running order.  He also mentioned a few things that might reduce our AC bill by putting in installation in the attic but did not pressure us to do it with them...just a few tips.

DO NOT USE! This company had a contract to do a remodel in my home, which should have taken 2 weeks maximum. Well.. it took them over 2.5 months... they sent an unlicensed electrician to do framing, sheet-rock, and tile work. During this time, they ruined my sink & toilet by using them as trash cans for GROUT, did not cover the carpet, and destroyed it...and there was NO SUPERVISION from anyone at the office.... we had to have new tile guy, new plumber, new sheet-rocker come in to repair their work. They also did a termite treatment on my home... 3 months later I call Terminix out, who find out they did not treat the house correctly, and we still have termites! Do Not waste your time or money with this company - you will regret it!

I found Trademark Home Services on Thumbtack after calling a plumber out and finding out my 40 gallon water heater was leaking and needed replacement.  Jason in the sales department contacted me the same day and sent me a quoted price to remove old water heater and replace with a new Rheem.  After taking a few days to shop around, I went with Trademark because they had the best price and parts and labor warranty.  After accepting quote and providing additional information on my old water heater, Jason let me know the removal and install was scheduled for a few days later and technicians would arrive within a 4 hour window.  The morning of, a Trademark technician arrived promptly within promised window at 9 am, after I received a heads up call from Jason, and began prepping old water heater for removal.  Shortly after, a second Trademark technician arrived, and, in the total time of 2 hours, my new heater was installed.  The technicians were both named Eric (interestingly enough) and were respectful and professional.  They pulled the tag from new water heater for me so that I could easily have information when I called to register warranty.  A few hours later, Jason called me to follow up and ensure everything went well.  I plan to recommend Trademark to friends and family as they were efficient, professional and followed up on their work.  Jason was great to work with and is truly a one-man show in their sales department.

I called them from their sign, had never used them before.  I had a clogged a/c drain and asked them to unclog it and do a tune-up of the system.  The tech came and was only there for 15 minutes to do a job (that I was told later that day by the office staff when I called to ask) should have taken him 1 to 1-1/2 hours. I told her I was worried that he hadn't performed the job properly.  She assured me he had.  Sure enough, 1 and 1/2 months later, the first night that the air was run all night, it leaked all over the floor and ruined the Pergo flooring.  I called to report it, and they sent out a tech to check it out.  He found the line clogged and cleaned it out.  I called back to talk to the owner to ask them to replace the flooring that got ruined due to their negligence, and he refused.  Then, to add insult to injury, they sent me a whopping bill for $195 for their second tech to go out to fix what the first one should have done in the first place.  I would never, ever use this company again, of course, and want people to be aware of the owner's irresponsibiltiy.
