I had another issue while installing a new faucet and called Mason's for help. Not only did Mason solve the problem, but he taught me how to troubleshoot and repair the issue in the future. Mason was friendly and polite and gave me a great deal since I was a return customer. I highly recommend Mason's for any plumbing issue you might have.

So far so good. Discovered--along with half of Galveston--that I had a burst pipe. At 5:30 PM. City Water Department shut off the main line.

Called my regular plumber, but he's relocated. Contacted the name he gave me, but he was booked for a month. Called plumbers with good Yelp ratings, got nothing but full voice mails or call in the morning messages.

Called Quality and a real live human answered... And he was an actual plumber named Terry, actually fixing something for someone (at 6:30 PM). Took my info and said they'd get here tomorrow, and try to get here in the morning.

The next day I was told I'm #8 on the list and they should get here that day. The jobs were more involved than expected and I got bumped to Friday AM (by then it became clear that this was a Galveston- wide calamity, and the demand for plumbers was insane!).

My plumber called mid-morning to say he was enroute, and took care of two split outdoor pipes in a couple of hours. He even reattached the bird netting attached under the deck!

They answered, they showed up, they fixed everything... For a new client, in the midst of a disaster.

Quality will be my plumber from here on out!

I had Mercy Plumbing come out and help me with a gas leak at my gas meter. I am giving them two stars because they did finish the job they said they would (pressure test and capping of leaking pipe) but not without troubles. The short version is we were stood up twice (one of which was a no call/no show) by the technician, no return calls from management, and overcharged up front to lock us in from shopping around. Overall not a good experience. Do yourself a favor and keep searchinge.

Why 5 stars? Because I'm not sure this experience could have been easier.

The faucet for our kitchen sink had been giving coming a part from the base and not easily threading back in. We temporarily fixed it once, and then after that failed, we literally had it held up with duct tape for two weeks while we were too busy to even call someone out to deal with it.

Eventually, enough was enough and we needed to not have our kitchen sink held together by duct tape anymore. My wife did a little neighborhood Facebook page research and mentioned that a lot of people had success with Paul The Plumber. I gave them a call and got an appointment scheduled.

My wife purchased a new faucet, in case our current one was beyond repair, but that ended up being moot. The plumber was at our house for maybe 12 total minutes, which includes him taking my credit card for the service charge. He very quickly knew how to fix the problem and it's been great ever since.

Something else that was nice was that we were told the plumber would arrive between 3-4pm, and I got a text that he was on the way, scheduled for a 3pm arrival. I went sent real-time tracking of his location so I knew exactly when he'd be arriving, which was really convenient.

So our experience was 5-stars across the board and we will definitely call these guys again next time we have an issue.

At least a half dozen more times, DPS has come through on some home and work disasters (last minute and often after-hour jobs).  Quality work, done the right way the first time, and just professional and nice about getting the calls.  Also- Dave does run gas pipes for propane in addition to typical water-related plumbing.  He is simply the best and most responsive around.

This is the third time I have used Joe Ed Nettles Plumbing and am once again very happy with the job they have done for me replacing the piping, faucets and shower head in our bathroom. Thanks for a wonderful job guys!

Called This plumbing company they immediately sent a plumber, Doug out. That lady that answered the phone was very honest and took care of the problem immediately. Great service and reasonable prices. Would highly recommend. Thanks

These guys are great! I have been a member of yelp for years and have never felt compelled to review anyone until today. They have helped us on several occasions and I have always been so impressed with their professionalism. They are all such nice guys and I truly trust their work!

Excellent job finding leak on my property.,they are not only great a5vwhat they do. They are great to laugh and talk to.

We found them on Yelp and were trying to support our local Pearland franchise. We made an appointment through their service today on a Saturday at 8:30am and they told us we would see them at 3pm.  We had an outside leak and had to turn off all the water within the house. They called me at 1:45pm to abruptly tell me my appointment was cancelled and I could have Monday afternoon. I told them this was unacceptable since I made the appointment first thing in the morning and they were canceling just over an hour before the technician was supposed to be AT my house. I also told her that people making appointments on Saturdays were usually in emergency situations.  She called me ten minutes later to say she was trying to work something out.  I told her it was too late; I already made an 8am appointment with Select Choice Plumbers on Monday and we were going to stay with family. Mark, the manager, called to apologize and say he was going to train his phone service better and could try to work me in between 4pm-5pm. I thanked him for calling, his apology, but I will not pay you money after you have called me to cancel the appointment YOU made.  You only get one chance to make a first impression and unfortunately this was a poor representation of their professionalism and customer service.

We needed our whole 2 story house re-piped and I called several plumbing companies.  This has been an ongoing problem for about four years now and we had the pipes patched but it did not solve the total problem created by galvanized piping.
Noble was one of the four plumbing companies we contacted and although they were not the cheapest, they were by far the most open and explained the whole process to us, offered to get us someone to do the sheet rock repair and told us how much time we would need.  Others quoted more time and no mention of clean up, warranty or guarantee, etc.  
We were very glad we went with with Noble because they did a beautiful job, were done in 2 days and unlike two other companies we have had replacement of pipes done with, they were fabulous on clean up, everything worked like it should and our water pressure was much better.  They go the extra mile, and are coming back to add some additional plumbing we want done.  Very impressed with Jeremy and his team.  We cannot thank them enough and we will be more than happy to recommend them to everyone we know.  Thank you Jeremy and Noble plumbing for doing such a wonderful job, I can rest much easier knowing we won't have anymore problems with pin whole leaks that create problems in the ceilings, walls and floors.

JimBoys are the best. They came out for a nasty emergency deep clog root on our house this evening and had our drain unclogged in record time for an extremely reasonable price. They were very friendly as well, and walked us through the process as it was happening. Best plumber experience I've ever had. Can't recommend them highly enough

The plumbing work was excellent for  extensive repairs after the Texas freeze.  But the charges were for two  master plumbers and actually there  was only a master plumber and a  plumbers helper working.  This was way too much.  I needed an invioce  wih a listing of parts used and labor to submit for my home owners  insurance.  The company would not provide anything other than a single  line each for parts and labor and not on a company letterhead. Because  of this - I was not able to recover from my insurance.

I'd give these con artists -stars if it was possible. So let's start. I call them for a quote to connect a gas dryer to an existing line for my girlfriend while I out of town. They say they need to come out to quote. $35 but if we have them do the job then the price of the quote is deducted from the work. She takes the time off of work but they never show or call for the appointment. So I call, the tech is stuck on a job and can't make it. No problem, it happens. Then the guy comes out Monday, barely make the appointment window and not only has the nerve to provide almost a $600 quote to connect two hoses that cost less than $30 combined and when she obviously says no still charges her the $35 consult even though they missed the original appointment. Long story not so short these guys are either going to refund that fee and get reported to the BBB or there going to get hit with a chargeback from the bank and reported to the BBB. Either way they are not getting my money. Please make sure to use anyone but these scam artists. Seems to me they just come out, quite something ridiculous and take your consult money if you're smart enough to say no.

Sorry excuse for a business!!  We were on schedule for service two days in a row at the same appointment time (6PM) and they never came.  Mind you they are a 24hr business.  The first scheduled evening they calked and left a message at 5:09 saying they couldn't come (less than a hour from the time they were to be at our home), and asked that we call and reschedule.  We did...for the following day.  This time no one called or showed up.  Again, sad excuse for a business.  It is probably a blessing in disguise, because if this is the way they do no potential customers, we don't want any part.

Called at 11:30pm on a Friday. Great initial phone service...set us up for a window of 9am-1pm the next morning. Kept my phone close all morning. Phone rings one time and ends call before I can answer. I call back immediately, get disconnected, and call again. Finally reach someone who says we've moved on. I asked for more clarity and they just said you have been moved in the queue. One minute after one ring and hours of waiting. The queue ended up being 2 days later...we canceled. Really though?? One ring. One minute. Awful customer service.
