Used him for the first time today and all I can say is that he is GREAT! He is very honest and very friendly, and explained everything he was doing before he did it. He answered any questions that I had and answered and explained them. Definitely use him if you are in the area.

Did a really good job - the guys were really nice and very willing to explain their work. Only 4 stars because they forgot about the 9:30am appointment and I had to call - he had misplaced the paperwork - very busy down here with all the leaks and probably because I had called the week before (I should have called the day before to confirm - I will next time).

Called Conroe Plumbing on Saturday at 8AM to fix a leak under the kitchen sink and install a new faucet because of a break. Corbyn and Aaron were here by 10AM the same day - Very courteous and professional. They completed the work around 11AM at a reasonable price. Highly recommend these guys!

Lied to me about the price. Quoted one price, was given another when they came through. Then couldn't fix the issue with the pipes because of roots growing in it. Wanted to charge me $$$ for that, and if I didn't want to get that done I still had to pay $300. Owner is rude and and asshole but his employees are nice people. Feel bad for them.

Excellent service and some good advice too. I could not be more pleased and I wish Paul and Deborah all the best.

I found DPS Plumbing on Yelp and called them to check a pipe leak in the attic. Dave was quick to respond and mentioned his hourly rate was $75 per hour. I agreed and had Dave come out the next day to assess the damage.
Unfortunately, the ceiling sheetrock collapsed overnight from the water accumulation, but the good thing was the attic was now exposed for Dave to easily see the leak. Dave arrived right before 9am and gave an estimate of $623, which was 6 hours of labor totaling $450 and $173 in materials. I thought the estimate was high (he first wrote 5 hours but crossed it out and changed it to 6 hours). And his estimate didn't include replacing the ceiling sheetrock afterwards. When I asked Dave if it would really take 6 hours to repair since he could see the leak easily and didn't have to hunt around for the leak, he said yes 6 hours. Since all that water was starting to soak the carpet and furniture, I decided to just get it done and agreed to the estimate.
Dave started at 9am and finished around 12 noon. After he was done, I asked if it would still cost $623 since it only took 3 hours instead of 6 hours. He said it's still $623. I paid it and reminded myself to never call him again or recommend him to friends & neighbors.
Btw, Dave used about 8 feet of AquaPex tubing to replace the bad section of leaking galvanized pipe. I checked afterwards and AquaPex costs around $50 for a large 100 feet coil. I don't see how he could justify charging $173 for 8 feet of AquaPex tubing and some pipe fittings.
In summary, Dave was responsive and able to complete the repair, but way overcharged on both labor and materials. I understand there's overhead to run a business (licenses, insurance, gas, etc). But to charge 6 hours of labor for a job that was completed in 3 hours, plus $173 for materials that cost $30-$40 at most, that just seems wrong and bad for the business reputation.
Photo attached showing before and after repairs. Also photo of the estimate that became the final invoice.

This is a sad case of poor business practices. Repipe specialists of Harris County is a sub company of Joe Nettles Plumbing. Steven Nettles has told me many times that Nettles Plumbing would take care of my problem but they have not. I thought these guys did a good job at first but over 2 years later they haven't finished the job. I paid Steven Nettles $600 to repair the holes they made in the walls as a result of repiping. He sent a guy from Nettles Plumbing to the house who ripped me off for about $300. So that's $900 I'm in the hole. I've tried to be understanding for over 2 years (nearly 3 years). I thought he was dealing with some personal issues and I wanted to give him time. I've called Steven repeatedly. He promises to do the job but never follows through. Essentially, he stole about $900 from me. Very sad Steve Nettles is allowed to continue doing business.

I cannot say enough good things about 1-800-plumber in Pearland. We had a floor drain back up in our laundry room last night. We tried all the usual, Liquid plumber, snake, plunger. The more we worked on it, the worse it got. We called 1-800-plumber for 2 reasons, they have been recommended by our neighbors & they received glowing reviews on Angie's list. They came out, assessed the situation & got it all cleaned out in no time. I will recommend them to anyone that asks.

Honesty is everything! We purchased a home and have been working on it over the past few months. We suddenly lost hot water and called Noble. Justin came out within an hour. He was friendly, knowledgeable and was able to diagnose and fix our problem quickly and simply. He very easily could have taken advantage of us and had us replace our water heater. Instead, he fixed the problem and made recommendations for our system. We highly recommend and will absolutely use Noble should we have any issues in the future.

The person I spoke with, not sure if he is the owner or not, was rude and unprofessional.
Houston, TX 77092
The plumbing work was excellent for extensive repairs after the Texas freeze. But the charges were for two master plumbers and actually there was only a master plumber and a plumbers helper working. This was way too much. I needed an invioce wih a listing of parts used and labor to submit for my home owners insurance. The company would not provide anything other than a single line each for parts and labor and not on a company letterhead. Because of this - I was not able to recover from my insurance.

I believe that they are price gouging. Had a small project and received an estimate that was way too high and clearly not representative of the work needed to be performed. Nearly a $100/LF for 23 LF of plastic 1 gas line. Absolutely now way I would use or recommend this company.

Sorry excuse for a business!! We were on schedule for service two days in a row at the same appointment time (6PM) and they never came. Mind you they are a 24hr business. The first scheduled evening they calked and left a message at 5:09 saying they couldn't come (less than a hour from the time they were to be at our home), and asked that we call and reschedule. We did...for the following day. This time no one called or showed up. Again, sad excuse for a business. It is probably a blessing in disguise, because if this is the way they do no potential customers, we don't want any part.

Called at 11:30pm on a Friday. Great initial phone service...set us up for a window of 9am-1pm the next morning. Kept my phone close all morning. Phone rings one time and ends call before I can answer. I call back immediately, get disconnected, and call again. Finally reach someone who says we've moved on. I asked for more clarity and they just said you have been moved in the queue. One minute after one ring and hours of waiting. The queue ended up being 2 days later...we canceled. Really though?? One ring. One minute. Awful customer service.
