Best Electricians in Austin, TX

I was having a hard time finding an electrician to install an outlet on the ceiling for my projector because it meant going up into the attic. One electrician recommended another electrician who finally led me to Alejandro. I'm so glad I found him!

Besides the ceiling outlet, I needed another new outlet installed in my bathroom for a bidet seat, and four ceiling fixtures replaced (three fans with lights and one chandelier). Alejandro was able to fit me in within the week. He and his father worked very quickly and efficiently to get the job done in three hours. He's definitely my go-to for future projects.

Today, I had StarTech Electric do some electrical work, including running new lines for new appliances, relocating an ethernet cable and outlets, and fixing a broken ballast. They were prompt, efficient and very nice. Before they started, they gave me another option that saved me an extensive amount of money from the original quote. I highly recommend them.

I scheduled an appointment on Thursday for Monday.  I waited at my house the from 11-2 as instructed, made sure to keep my phone with me incase they called and by 2 no one had arrived or called.  I called and spoke to Sylvia who told me my appt had been cancelled because my phone was disconnected.  I said that's not correct I've been taking calls all morning.  I asked her if she maybe dialed wrong and she said No I dialed it twice.  I then said well hang up and call me right back, cause I want to know if she was dialing a wrong number.  What she said next made me so mad it is the reason I'm writing this review.  She said to me well you obviously just paid your bill and got your phone turned back on.   Now I don't to be snobby but I have never had my phone turned off in my life......ever.  And another thing cell phones don't even say the number you are calling is disconnected, that is only for land lines, so clearly she was dialing a wrong number and she wouldn't even cooperate with me and try to find a solution.  I will not be using this company although part of me wants to just so they can see the 25 acre gated estate I live on, there would be no question about paying a phone bill.

Arrived earlier than scheduled time and completed work as discussed. Great to work with!

Johnny and his team did a great job and were very friendly and professional. We had a few small jobs that they completed for us and we are happy with the service. I will call them again for big and small electrical jobs in the future!

Pucek Power & Electrical Service: Josh, the owner is very knowledgeable and customer service oriented. He was upfront with his cost and did a thorough job including cleaning the area in which he worked. He gave me a 30 minute window (not 4 hours like other companies) to arrive at my house. I live in Round Rock. It is a 45 minute drive from Bastrop. He was right on time. I have been in the customer service business for over 25 years and have a choice in the company I use for my electrical repairs. To summarize my experience, I am very satisfied and would definitely recommend this company for your power and electrical needs. Called JT when I couldn't figure out why my dishes had no power.  L answered my call and she was very courteous and explained to me the steps in scheduling, assessments and service.  She put my mind at ease immediately with a good plan for a non-emergency issue.

JT came out a few days later and after looking at the unit laid out all the steps of his root cause discovery.  He found the issue pretty far down the line, but it was good to see that he checked the easier-to-fix causes first.  Finished the job same day, 100% professional.  Total clean up and easy invoicing.  THANK YOU!

The ABSOLUTE BEST electricians anywhere. Clift is the owner. He got me back up and running after two other companies couldn't figure out what was wrong. Then another time he sent his guys over and they were so polite, fast, tidy, and fixed all my wonky outlets. I can't say enough about this company. He jumped to help my neighbors  who I was scared for during the ice storm. After the power was restored, her living room electric was blown. He worked many hours getting her up and going.
This company has been around a long time...well established with the old timers around Pflugerville...that says a lot.

Mr.  Ward gave me an honest quote.  I had gotten quotes from at least 5 different electricians.  He came on time and got the work done in a few hours.  I paid exactly what he quoted me.  He is professional and works honestly and patiently.  I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Had these guys out to look at a annoying gfci outlet that kept tripping. They were great communicating & scheduling the appointment. Ronnie, located the issue within minutes & had it repaired very quickly.
I also had him look at adding another exterior outlet since I needed one in a different location. He actually said he had most of the materials already in his truck & could do it at that time!
I must say he did a great job installing the new exterior outlet in a nice all weather box. Top quality work at a fair price.
I have found myself a new electrician & will recommend him to all my friends & family.

Great guys who were hardworking and gave me great advice.  Communication to me is the key when working with anyone else on a project. They setup my outdoor patio for maximum efficiency and also made it look great. Even offered to hang my TV for me.  Will definitely work with Jacob & Neal again!

I've used Varnell Electric for any electrical issue arising in clients' pools. I've also felt confident referring Varnell to clients with electrical contracting beyond the scope of their swimming pool. I appreciate the professionalism, start to finish. Phones answered promptly, messages acknowledged, phone calls returned, I asked they fax a copy if a receipt to a client they were polite & it was done immediately! Incredibly pleased with Avery and the work he did.  He responded same day as my quote request and within a day we had the details worked out and he was scheduled to the end of the week.

He was easy to communicate with via  text and arrived promptly with a notification that was nice to see.  He got right to work did some additional review mad measurements then got supplies.  He was here all day and did fantastic work.

The entire time he wore a mask,  was virtually a church mouse with the noise (not sure how he used a hammer and a nail gun!!), courteous, and made sure he took his shoes off or wore booties when necessary.

Best of all the results were spot on with what I needed.  Trim work, cabinet work, garbage disposal replacement.  It all turned out great it was worth turning it over to someone else to get it done and timely.  I was also very pleased with the price I thought it was more than fair.

Excellent service!!! We called this morning to schedule service. Damian came this afternoon (same day!) and fixed the problem in nothing flat!  We couldn't be happier with Duhon. They will be our first choice next time we need electrical service.

Late Friday night, our home A/C stops cooling. Outside condenser unit not working.

A bit of investigation leads to a bad capacitor. Not difficult to replace oneself if done carefully. However...

Every A/C company I could find open on Saturday morning told me they would not sell me the inexpensive part. Said I had to pay for service call and installation, who knows when on one of the hottest weekends of the year.

A/C repair is an utter racket - I get the restrictions on refrigerant, it's a chemical - but a simple mechanical part, of which you have hundreds in stock? Give me a break.

Took the part to Hamilton, they had a perfect replacement at a reasonable price. If anyone else finds themselves in need of this common repair and part, go to Hamilton Electric Works before you pay the A/C extortion fees.
