We used Colvert Electric for the installation of three ceiling fans. Ivan, the electrician did an outstanding job of installing, providing information on the remotes for each fan and cleaning up as he went from location to location. He was on time and completed the job in a timely manner.
I highly recommend Colvert Electric.

We hired them to install some outdoor lighting.  David and Robert did a fantastic job and were very professional.  They also worked their schedule around ours as we had a restricted time schedule.  They were terrific and we would definitely hire them again

We called 10 days ago to get estimate to get 3 Hunter ceiling fans (with remotes)  and two light fixtures installed on a previously owned home in Sun City.  We were quoted a price of $ 350 plus tax to do the installation (after she had checked with the boss).  
Two gentleman showed up today ready to go to work...but the price was now 47% higher (now $495 plus tax) to do the install. My wife called the office to ask what happened? The lady who had given us the estimate told us there was a misunderstanding as she didn't understand we wanted remotes installed.  (We had made this clear when we called to get the estimate 10 days ago). She said installing the remotes was what had increased the price. If that were true, then it would have been $48/each to install the Hunter remotes that I had purchased new at Home Depot for less than $40 a piece. Doesn't make sense. She offered to reduce the $495 to $465  ($10 off each remote installation) if we would go ahead with the install.  We told them No Sale and sent them on their way.  This has left a sour taste in my mouth.  Tom Norrell was passed along to me by a Sun City friend who I will inform of my bad experience so they can advise others.
A word to the wise....don't rely on the estimate you are provided...and beware of the ooh, there was a misunderstanding excuse.  Find someone else to do business with.

This place is fantastic. Vince showed up promptly after my inquiry on getting some outlets installed and was incredibly helpful/knowledgeable and really accommodating to our tight turnaround time. Prices were super reasonable and I was really impressed with John's work (he left it much tidier than how he found it, too!) Will definitely be using these guys again!

Shopping around for electrical work was not easy.  I kept getting quotes from big box electrical companies thinking that they were the only ones that could do my whole house remodel, but the prices were unreasonable and way over my project estimate for electrical.
So, I moved to support a locally owned business. I wanted someone that I could trust with my whole house remodel which included replacing all the electrical wiring including installing a new panel on my  60-year-old home.
Jeff, the Owner, did an amazing job. He was meticulous and we could not have been happier with the work that he did.  When it came time for the inspection, the City Inspector was impressed with his work.  He said, looks like he takes pride in his work! In addition to rewiring the whole house in the structural state, he added can lighting, and also added up-lights to the outside which gives the house a whole new look.

Rangel Electrical services called me back the same day and delivered great service the very next day. In fact they showed up early to complete the task before expected. Communication was help throughout the entire process via text and phone call to ensure the job was completed on time and to my liking. For the quickness the task was completed and how convenient it was I feel like the price was very fair. I highly recommend this service.

Reese was great, I was bad. He got in touch with me via email. I'm terrible about looking through my email. I was the one that didn't provide the correct photos, but he kept after me. I didn't get back to him for quite a while. I told him I was as sorry as the guy that kicked the Pope.  He did a great job installing the generator.  He was careful to explain it to me. The one he installed is one we will use for glamping, so it will keep the fridge and a couple of other things going in an outage. I'm going to get one dedicated to the furnace, and air conditioner, so, yeah, I'll be getting back for that one.

I hired Mr. David Julius to do a panel upgrade to my home which entailed a new weather head, meter can, 200a main panel, ground rods and water bond. The cost he quoted was very reasonable. He was super professional and great to deal with from beginning to end. His work is totally flawless. I was very impressed.This person is very skilled and I could not recommend him enough. At this point, I would only use Julius Electric for any of my electrical needs.

Apex Electrical Services is an exceptional choice for electrical services! We were experiencing some weird issues with a breaker that kept tripping in our back guest bedroom and Rodney was super quick to respond and was even able to come out the next day for an appointment. He was very thorough in finding the root cause, and went above and beyond to ensure that he got to the bottom of the problem in a timely manner. He took the time to walk me through the issue once it was found, and broke it down on a level that I could easily understand (since I am clueless regarding anything and everything electrical wise ha!) The customer service at Apex is phenomenal and if you are looking for a company who you can trust will get the job done right, then Apex is the way to go!

It's not often we encounter a worker like Zach who can listen and solve a problem so quickly. He stopped what he was doing and fixed a light that needed to be shining in a different direction. I will remember this and be sure his name and number are in my go-to list for electrical solutions. Thanks for being there for us, Zach!

I wanted to add a new light fixture on my garage, and I contacted Bryant at the recommendation of a neighbor.  It took a while to hear back from them, but to be fair, I initially made contact around Christmas time, and mine was a small and non-emergency project.

My technician, Jorge, was very polite and informative as we discussed the work I wanted done, he wrote up an estimate, I okayed it, and he got to work.  I paid $500ish for him to drill through my rock wall, set a junction box, fish wire through the wall and attic, and install the fixture.  It was on the high end of what I expected to pay, but seems reasonable.  He had to cut a couple holes in my drywall, but was able to salvage the pieces so that I only need to patch the seams.

If how tidy does he keep his work area is an indication of quality of work, then Jorge is top-notch.  He put down plastic drop cloths under his tools to protect my (dusty concrete) garage floor, swept up rock debris and dust from his drilling, and took his shoes off when he needed to walk through my house (he had run out of the slipper/bootie things they usually use).

For future electric work, I'll get estimates from other companies, but I will definitely consider using Bryant again.

They came out to our home to give me an estimate for outdoor plumbing work. I was not home when they were there and the understanding was they would call me to let me know what the estimate was and what work would be required. They proceeded to do the work without any authorization from me, the homeowner, and then sent me $1000+ bill for the work complete. I called them and explained that I gave NO authorization to do the work because nobody bothered to tell me what the work was and had I known it was going to be over $1000, I wouldn't have gone through with it. Their resolution was to give me a measly 10% discount on the bill. I paid the bill because I'm not a scam artist but they clearly do not follow protocol and they take advantage of their customers. Shame on them.

When I had an issue with my outdoor lights I called about ten electricians and got ten voicemails.  Robert from Ybarra answered on the first ring and had an appointment available for me the next day.  He called prior to arriving and was here on time.  Within twenty minutes, he not only identified the problem I was having with my front porch lights, but fixed them and helped me with some Christmas Light problems I had as well!  That was unexpected!  It's nice to be surprised with great service these days.  His rates were very reasonable-I would absolutely recommend Robert and Ybarra, he's now going to be my 'go-to' electrician!

Where to begin.  I had intermittent power outages house-wide.  I called A-Tex Electric and they sent out a repair person.  I detailed the issue to the owner in advance via phone and text, so they knew what was needed.
After arriving, the repair person went to determine the cause.  Then, after a few minutes, he asked to go to the bathroom and stayed in there for nearly 20 mins.  Then, after finishing, he went upstairs and I didn't see him for quite some time.  It turns out he was up there replacing four light sockets without telling me, so I never approved the work, and I didn't need the work.  He ultimately said I'd need to replace all of the sockets in the house (which were all functioning fine btw), but he couldn't quote me a price.  I then asked if he could do the work and he said he didn't have time, so I asked him why he would come out if he didn't have time to do a repair.
Then, he claimed to have no idea how to estimate the cost even though he had worked for A-Tex for 12 years.  According to him, he didn't know if they charged by the service or by the time.
We ended up calling the owner and getting a voicemail.  Then he called back and we stayed on the phone for 10 mins while the repair person just stood there.
Then he left saying he would get me a quote via email.
Well, sure enough, I received a bill for the four socket replacement repair for $420!  So they expect me to pay $420 for four sockets to be replaced, which I didn't want, need, or authorize.
I called the owner of A-Tex and told him I found the bill to be high and that I felt like I was being taken advantage of.  He claimed they charge an hourly rate of $120 (which isn't on their website, nor disclosed when I spoke with the owner), he charges for drive time, and he rounds up to the highest hour.  Then you pay for parts.
Of course, the 20 min bathroom break and 10 min phone call with the owner while the repair person stood there (just to get a quote for repairs!) was on the clock, unbeknownst to me.  That bathroom break and phone call cost me $60!  And that time triggered the cost of another hour or work even though it went into that third hour by a few minutes.
Then the owner made my jaw drop when he said they couldn't actually fix the intermittent outage because by the nature of the problem they can't determine the cause since it likely wouldn't happen while they were there.  I asked him, So you sent a repair person out knowing that the problem couldn't be diagnosed and the repair couldn't be done.  He said yes, and apologized.
Ultimately I offered to pay $120 for the $420 since I didn't want the work done, didn't authorize the work, didn't need the work, the repair person was there unnecessarily (by their own admission), and the bill was padded with a 30 min drive to my house, a 20 min bathroom break, and a 10 min phone call to the owner.
To add insult to injury, in a later email with the owner he told me that he had a $240 minimum, yet another price consideration that was never disclosed (and would've kept me from using them) and that he would put a lien on my house if I didn't pay.  I would win in court because the work was unauthorized (and thus there was no paperwork showing that it was), but the effort of that would be too much.
In that spirit, I'm writing this review to warn ANYONE that is thinking of using them that they will be screwed over with impunity.  Buyer beware for certain.  Don't walk away from A-Tex Electric....RUN!
