Tri-County Residential Contractors Plumbing Service
I am so greatful for calling this company. I recently just moved into the renovated home but the people who renovated did a shobby job on the home and did alot of quick fix. So i had a water heater that was installed incorrectly and illegally. I call the plumber to install a water filtration system not know that my water heater was a problem. He uses his CO detector to see if Carbon Monoxide was coming into the house. The meter said 24 and he said the meter is suppose to be at 0. So since aug-dece me and my family been slowly taking in CO without even noticing. Something so small like that could have killed us if he didn't talk me about it. So he changed out my old water heater and installed the new water in no time. I am very grateful for calling him to fix that issue. I will be calling him to install my water filtration system

Plumbing problems can become a nightmare. So when I need authorized state approved plumbing done in my home, I call Tom. When I don't need the job to be approved by any utility company, I do it myself or call Jimmy ;)

The potential nightmare of DIY plumbing could be devastating. Our last project was a broken water main pipe. As a home owner, I'm responsible for fixing the water pipe outside my house all the way to the valve at the curb. There is a flat metal lid covering the valve in our front yard, on the thin strip of grass between the sidewalk and the road. That lid covers the valve that turns off the water so I can replace the pipe. My father in law had replace a broken water main himself (and 7 other guys with shovels), so I considered it as a possible option. And I may have been able to rent a backhoe. cl. But, the risk of ruining my house was too great so we called Tom.

Tom works with a mechanical contracting unit. The man can't do everything himself. When they were digging, a neighbor was walking down the sidewalk and is hard of sight. These guys held his hand and walked him around the site. They even replaced the broken sidewalk tile with a new one. Which goes above and beyond, in my book.

Thanks Tom, Sean, the two other guys who I did not meet and the Peco guys who had to come back out to fix the gas line that was hit. Which is funny because when Peco marked the line, it wasn't going to be where they found it.

Good thing I didn't do this job myself. Thanks Tom.

peace,
michael

Drains R Us Plumbing and Drain Cleaning Plumbing Service
Very happy with Drains R Us' service- of more than 10 plumbers that I called, Tuan was one of only a handful to actually respond to my phone call. He was also fantastic about keep me appraised of when he was actually coming to my place and gave me a reasonable estimate of what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He came when he said he would and took care of two clogged sinks in less than an hour, and charged far less than I would have paid another plumber. He seems like a total straight shooter and was very professional. I've got him on speed dial for the next time something goes wrong!

DeLuca Plumbing Plumbing Service
Joseph DeLuca of DeLuca Plumbing just completed my bathroom renovation/remodeling.  He is not only an excellent plumber; he is also an outstanding craftsman and has a wonderful eye for design and style.  Throughout the remodeling process, Mr. DeLuca was on site every day, working diligently to complete the bathroom.  He kept in touch, explained everything, provided expert advice, and was always available for questions.  The service he provided was simply outstanding, and he completed the work on time and on budget.  The entire experience was flawless, as is my new bathroom!  Mr. DeLuca is dedicated and takes great pride in his work.  He installed new walls, ceramic tile, exhaust fan, lighting, vanity, toilet, faucets, shelves, towel bars, floor, and created a custom shower.  He took a personal interest in the bathroom; he even helped me put up the shower curtain!  He wanted it to not only be functional, he wanted it to be beautiful - and it is!  Mr. DeLuca also treated my home with the utmost respect, as if it were his own home.   I highly recommend DeLuca Plumbing for not only remodeling, but for all plumbing needs.  He is an old school plumber, a master of his craft, and dedicated to his customers.  He does not try to upsell or recommend unnecessary work, nor did he recommend overly expensive products.  He takes great pride in his work and he is an honest, decent person.  Whether you need an entire remodel or just a smaller plumbing repair, I highly recommend DeLuca Plumbing.

John Luke Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
John Luke has been my plumbing and heating contractor for the past ten years. I had just purchased my home which needed a bathroom renovation and his services were recommended by a friend. Ten years later, John and his team have been my go-to contractors for everything from bathroom remodels, custom heating installations, to basement plumbing and heating redesign, and every maintenance service in-between. John is smart, loyal, and extremely personable and brings the highest level of quality and integrity to his work. No matter how large or small the job, John Luke brings the same, exceptional level of care and commitment to customer satisfaction.  As far as I am concerned, if you need the best plumbing and heating contractor in the Philadelphia area, you need not look any further than John Luke Plumbing and Heating.

Bryan Stuckert Plumbing Plumbing Service
It sounds from reviews like Stuckert is pretty good overall.  I had a bad experience with them.  I needed to have a sewer lateral inspection done before I could sell my house.  Rather than do their due diligence and get the specs from the township before doing the inspection, they came and did the inspection only to find they couldn't complete it because my lateral line had a trap at the end of the line near the street (which was--apparently--a required element of code when my line was put in).  They could have discovered this without doing the work and let me know about it, but instead they did the work of the inspection, charged me $285 for it, and I got nothing from it.  That's simply very poor professionalism.  I also found them extremely incommunicative; I had to call over and over in order to get questions answered and any kind of information from them (in fact, I never did get one question answered).  Finally, they were going to charge me $500 more than their competitor for the work of exchanging the trap on my lateral with a clean-out.  Needless to say, I went with the competitor.  Very poor experience, and frankly, I feel I was cheated out of $285.

P.S. I'm not sure why Yelp is listing my review as being from California.  I live in PA.

Rik and Mike remodeled my tiny bathroom in South Philly.  From a previous remodel, I had a leaky shower stall that that was tiled and grouted poorly, and they were careful to demo the problematic walls and floor, while salvaging tile on opposing walls, storage cabinets and cubbies, and a medicine cabinet that I wanted to keep.

When the floor came up, we discovered a rotted subfloor, compromised joists and some water damage.  This was not something we had budgeted for in the initial estimate, but Rik recognized that the new priority was structural integrity and was reasonable about additional costs for sistering compromised joists, moving water lines, and giving me a new subfloor.

When there were new issues or detours they had to take (the bathroom is in a 100 year old building), Rik ran all changes by me and let me know what options (and their respective costs) we had.  At one point, he even brought in a structural guy to double check the direction he recommended we take on those compromised joists.

Post demo and remediation, they installed everything I had bought for the project - the new toilet, the new shower stall, new shower walls, new vanity, new fixtures and new tiling on the floor.  That part of the project took the amount of time Rik had estimated, and the only time-related hiccups were caused by the rotting subfloor and joist sistering, which were not foreseen.

Rik understood that my number one priority was making sure that the shower was watertight, and he pointed out different steps during the way that we accomplished that goal.  I'll update this review periodically to let you know how watertight it remains.

Finally, there was the issue of construction debris.  Rik and Mike did this work in late July and early August of 2020, when the city's sanitation department was racked with COVID-19 and some trash pickup did not occur on schedule.  While they put debris in large white bags labeled contractor bags and expected the city to haul them off.  However, once city services resumed, the sanitation department (for 2 consecutive weeks) would take all trash EXCEPT the contractor bags and the old toilet Rik and Mike had placed at the curb.

When I notified them of this, Rik did the right thing.  Even though our financial dealings with one another were in the rear view mirror and the new bathroom had been completed for nearly 2 weeks, he swooped by 48 hours later to pick up the debris and properly dispose of it.

In all, I was very pleased with Rik and Mike's work, and I would hire them again.

Streamline Drain Cleaning and Plumbing Plumbing Service
So Dopey Dwarf {that would be me for now) recently purchased her first home, moved in immediately following a blizzard and went a way for a long weekend during the first hard freeze of the season.  In all of the excitement and her dopiness, Dopey likely did not leave the furnace running at a high enough temp to keep the water circulating fast enough through the return pipes that extend outside into the garage. Dopey returns after the extreme weather event (convenient) to find that the radiators were not putting out heat (inconvenient). Dopey went into the basement at 1:00am to fill the furnace with water only to hear water splashing outside in the garage (very inconvenient). Later that day Dopey called an HVAC technician to fix whatever the issue was, only to be told by a Dopier Dopey that the pipe had to be repaired by a plumber (annoyingly inconvenient). Dopey checked Yelp and saw all of these great reviews for Streamline Drain and Plumbing Service. Feeling a little less Dopey she gave Streamline a call. Ray, the owner, first took time to actually answer the phone and then exhibited great patience as Dopey fumbled through the diagnosis of what she had been told the issue was. Instead of blowing her off, Ray asked for a picture of the pipe to better understand  the problem and came out pretty quickly to get a better look.   Of course, because a plumber was on site, a new leak decided to surface. Not only did Ray find the location of the crack in return pipe (which was not where Dopier Dwarf said it was), Ray also gave extra time to finding the source of the other leak and repairing that one also without busting  Dopey's (now Happy Dwarf) bank account. Being a new home owner and a single female, Happy has recently had to deal with a number of contractors (whom we''ll refer to as Crappy Dwarfs since Happy  found them to be untrustworthy and conniving). To meet and work with Ray who is obviously motivated by integrity was quite refreshing.  Happy is not hoping to need any repairs anytime soon, but if her house springs any leaks, she'll spring for Ray.

Joseph Giannone Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning Plumbing Service
THESE PEOPLE ARE LIARS AND I WOULDN'T TRUST WHAT THEY SAY OR THE WORK THEY PERFORM.
I live on the second floor of a building and my neighbors called and said that there was water leaking down to their ceiling. I called Joseph Giannone Plumbing and Heating and they sent out a plumber to evaluate the situation. We determined that the toilet needed a new wax seal, which was replaced and the toilet reset. This service, which took 15 minutes to perform, cost me over $500, but it also came with a 1- year warranty. About 11 months later, the toilet leaked again, causing even more damage to my neighbors ceiling. I called Joseph Giannone and they came out and fixed the issue again, which was covered under the warranty. They also informed me that the damage caused to my neighbors ceiling was covered under the warranty and that a manager would call and schedule someone to come out and fix the ceiling.  After a week, I did not hear from anyone so I called and left a few messages. When I finally spoke with someone 2 weeks later after several phone calls, they gave me the name and number of a contractor that would come out and fix the ceiling. This person never contacted me and I have gone back and forth with the Manager several times to try and get my neighbors ceiling fixed. The last time I spoke with the Manager, he informed me that although he thinks the damage should be covered under the warranty and that it would only be right to come out and fix it, he was overruled by the owner of the Company. He has since ignored all of my calls and requests to remedy the situation.  When push came to shove, Joseph Giannone wouldn't own up to his original shoddy work and wouldn't fix the mistakes his company made. There are so many other options in the city, use someone else!

Delaware Plumbing Professionals Plumbing Service
Horrendously Overpriced. PREDATORY would be an appropriate term. Called them because disposal stopped working that they had installed in February. Turns out, it was just clogged. The individual unclogged it in 10 min. Was CHARGED $225 for it.

They said for the work was $160 (that was done in 10 minutes and no actual parts were replaced). And still got charged $65.00 bucks for a dispatch fee. STAY AWAY!!!!
