Amazing integrity and awesome service!  Before even trying to book the appointment he tried to see if we could handle the issue ourselves and advised us on all the what ifs first.  Will definitely use again!

Bridge City Backflow & Irrigation Plumbing Service
Great experience and mostly seamless coordination.  Jacob is super personable and listens well.  Gives recommendations on work needed.  Enjoyed working with him on a fairly small irrigation system issue which he completed quickly and efficiently to avoid excess labor costs.  Appreciated that.

Clog Pro Plumbing & Drain Plumbing Service
I called Clog Pro on Friday and they had availability the next day and didn't charge an additional fee for weekend work, which is apparently a thing in the plumbing world. I can't say their rates were super expensive or super reasonable, because I think that plumbers overall are on the spendy side. But you know what? They did a great job and now I won't have to call anyone again for a long time, hopefully. My work also came with a 60-day guarantee, which is great. I love a company that stands behind their work.

Of the three plumbing companies I called, Clog Pro was the only one that had an actual person answer the phone. The other two still haven't called me back.

I needed my bathroom tub and sink drains cleaned, as they all tend to run slow despite my best efforts to stay on top of them. I hadn't had them professionally cleaned in quite a while and they were really getting out of hand.

Patrick came out and did an excellent job. He was actually running EARLY on Saturday (who does that, btw?!) and I got a courtesy call asking if he could come early. I said yes (of course!) and after the work, I got a call from the dispatcher asking if I was satisfied with the work minutes after Patrick left.

Patrick was professional, courteous, quick - yet thorough, and he didn't make a mess (or he cleaned up after himself if he did). He's very friendly and I asked if I could add on my kitchen sink at the last minute, and he accommodated my request with no problem.

My only complaint is that I got charged a $20 truck fee (whatever that is) that I was not made aware of in advance. I guess I'm paying to help fill the truck with gas - even Patrick wasn't completely sure what this charge was, but he said it was a standard charge.

Will I call them again if I have a plumbing issue? Absolutely!

TL:DR: Great service, quick, communicative, and a 60-day guarantee. Will call again for plumbing needs.

Lake Oswego Service Plumber Plumbing Service
I had a small leak in my water heater. Jared arrived shortly after my call and promptly fixed my leak for a very reasonable price. He even went a step further and added an additional valve as a preventative measure. He was great and I will call them again if I need a plumber.

Repipe Specialists - Salem Plumbing Service
The salesperson for Repipe Specialists was on time for our appointment to the minute. He took his time and explained everything that would need to be done to bring the house up to code. He tested the water pressure and found that it was way over what it should be. I was lucky my pipes hadn't already burst! He gave me discounts associated with the Home and Garden Show, and discounted his bid further to be more competitive with the plumber who, in the course of doing a job for me, alerted me that my pipes were substandard. (We did the research and found he was right. Insurance wouldn't cover a leak or break from these--now--substandard pipes.)
The job was contracted out to Davis Plumbing, which I didn't realize was going to happen, but a friend had used Davis Plumbing and really liked them. They showed up with a team of 4 at 8:00 am sharp and did the job in one day. (Because I'd had a washing machine hose accident, much of the ceiling had already been opened to dry out the subfloor.)
They had to put a new plate on the shower in order to make a hole big enough to do their work. They didn't have a plate with the brushed nickel finish I had, so they switched out the shower fixtures including the shower head at no extra cost!
They also moved the washing machine valves up where we could now reach them and replaced the box where the refrigerator hose attaches. There was some reluctance to reattach the washing machine and they refused to do the dryer (a condenser dryer, so it's different.) They also refused to take the garbage because the dump no longer accepts piping. However, on a return visit to fix various problems, one of the crew took the bag. They also switched out the refrigerator piping from plastic to metal. to lessen the possibility of future leaks. And replaced an outdoor faucet head which had a problem. (They replaced all the outdoor faucets as well.) I had a drip coming from the bathtub cold water faucet, which they determined was unrelated to the repiping (it would have leaked constantly if it was from the repipe), which they fixed for a modest charge.
They work long hours to complete their jobs Monday - Thursday to leave Friday for any unforeseen problems.
All in all, I was very satisfied with their work. They were very responsive to my questions and came back to tweak their work right away.

Tri County Plumbing Plumbing Service
I cannot say enough positive things about Tri County.
Tina in their office is amazing, empathetic, and professional. She helped me figure out what we needed to do when the line between our water meter and the house developed a severe leak last week, and walked me through every step of the process.
Jeremy came out to do the digging, plumbing, and line replacement, and he was efficient, personable, helped us prevent some potential problems with the inspector, and didn't mind when I asked a million questions.
10/10, will definitely be going to Tri County for all our future plumbing needs.

Boger Plumbing Plumbing Service
Brian is a godsend. Prompt to reply via phone, text OR email (what, someone knows how to use technology?). Super courteous. Honest. ON TIME. Great prices. Hilarious. AND super kind... he even let my dogs and cat invade his personal space while he was laid out on the floor under my sink, with no complaints (I put them away--RUDE fur kids).

I will literally be referring him to anyone I know who needs plumbing. He installed a new shut off valve and my new dishwasher in no time flat; left things cleaner than when he came; and was genuinely shocked and thankful when I evened out the bill with a small tip because his prices were so reasonable.

This is how business should be done: charge a fair price for exceptional service... and deliver that service on time, with a great attitude. THANK YOU, Brian. You f-ing rock :)

They were fantastic. Nathanial was in the area today and actually came right away after a conversation. Danielle coordinated all and emailed estimates right away. Bravo. Great explanation along the way and replaced my water heater quite proficiently. He wore a mask, took off his shoes inside and really respectful. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the help today.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Portland Plumbing Service
While the technician was polite and did their job the price was ridiculous. We had called three pulmbers for quotes. One company we received an over the phone quote. Your company needed to give a quote on scene.  Once I received the quote it was three times the amount as the other company. If this had been during the evening on a holiday I could see the increased cost. Since I had already cancelled the other appointment I went with you because it needed to get fixed. I've had one other service call from you company about a year ago. Again, the technician was polite, diagnosed the problem and saved me some money based on their recommendation. If I the choice again I would have waited and gone with another company. I would not recommend Mr Rooter to friends and family because of the ridiculous cost. The technician wasn't even a journeymen level plumber. Also, with a cost like that I would hope for more then a one year warranty. Pathetic!

Sutherland Plumbing Plumbing Service
Look no further! Sutherland Plumbing is the company you want. Ti is a master at scheduling his team and provides superb customer service. Sean and Cam worked relentlessly to install a new water heater in a very-very small closet. I could go on and on and on, but I won't. Call me crazy, but I look forward to the day I need a plumber again. Thank you fella's, you made an unpleasant experience completely painless. Choose Sutherland for all of your plumbing needs, you will not regret it!

Hillsboro Plumbing Plumbing Service
Horrible customer service, I just had a conversation with a women over the phone. I asked what their charge to come out she did not answer that question. I asked her how much the hourly rate was and she stated $112 plus material then hung up on me. I will not suggest calling or even bothering with this company if someone hangs up on a customer within the first 3 minutes. Horrible attitude.

Rob's Superior & Sons Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
Made an appointment with Rob to inspect possible pipe leak behind bathroom wall and fix outside water spiked. He never showed up or returned my call on the day of appointment when he did not show up. I should have read these reviews ahead of time cause the lack of communication seems to be an issue with this company.

River City Environmental Plumbing Service
I called River City to repair my septic system in Tillamook. After a very rainy January, my shower and toilet were backing up due to too much water in the drainfields. Chad with River City recommended proceeding on a time and materials basis, since the location is a ways out of Portland - he could diagnose the problem and repair in one fell swoop over 2-3 days. River City required a 5000 credit card hold prior to proceeding, and in looking over the rates list I signed, I didn't expect the bill to be much more than that.

Fast forward 3 months: the shower and toilet is backing up again much worse: sewage including feces in the shower. My entire yard is a swampy mess with up to 14 of standing water in many places, including behind the house where they created a sort of pit through their excavation where surface water can't flow out of. Water is visibly infiltrating into my garage, and could be seeping into the lower level of my house as well which is at the same elevation. My underground rain drain pipe was crushed during construction. Every square inch of my yard was dug up and is too muddy to walk on, and there is Styrofoam poly aggregate (basically artificial gravel which looks like packing peanuts) mixed in with the soil all over the yard. My renters, who have 2 dogs, have not been able to use the yard since January.

The price tag for this was $17,690.25.

The state of my property is much worse, and everything that was done to divert water needs to be redone likely exceeding that amount. I have hired a local contractor to excavate and replace the crushed rain drain and to clean up the poly aggregate. I hired another septic company to siphon the standing water behind the house that is not draining, and drain excess water from my holding tank. I am getting a bid this week for a landscape architect to remove and replace a defunct ground water interceptor - this is basically a French Drain to divert excess ground water that was getting into the septic system. The system River City used has a perforated drain pipe that comes bundled with Styrofoam poly aggregate, wrapped in a geo fabric to provide drainage, rather than the traditional gravel-based drainage systems - supposedly it is a proven system that costs less and is fast to install, if installed correctly. Somehow many of these bundles burst all along the trench line, spewing chunks of Styrofoam all over the yard. From what my contractor observed, the pipes are not even connected in places, and in some cases there is no pipe, just Styrofoam in torn fabric a hole with clay soil fusing to the Styrofoam pieces. In some areas the drain pipe is above the ground. The soil is on my property is mostly clay, and the usual precautions you would use with a soil that does not drain, like additional geo filter fabric, backfilling with a pervious soil etc. was not done. Additionally the grading done does not direct surface water away from the house, instead a low point was created behind the house where water is trapped and just ponds. Normally you would channel the water away from - rather than toward the foundation. The crew had 3 days with an excavator at 1200/day, and this was the result.

I had a phone conversation with the Chad and the office manager about the issues and the bill. I acknowledged that the the shower and toilet seemed to be draining and other maintenance to the septic lines were done, and I authorized a 5000 partial payment on my credit card. Chad agreed to return in April to fix some of the issues, and make some adjustments to the bill. Meanwhile I discovered that feces and toilet paper were piling up behind the house through a sewage line that had been broken during construction. River City repaired that broken pipe, but then I got an email from the contracts manager, Mick letting me know that Chad and the foreman were taken off the project, and all communications had to go through him. In trying to figure out how to remedy the problems, I asked Mick what products were used, placement of underground elements, whether my raindrains were altered or combined with this new drain line, and a conversation that was supposedly had with my neighbor to daylight the ground water onto his property. Mick would only reply by saying things like the amount owing currently is $13,175.25.  We can put you on a payment plan if you like.

At about 6 weeks after the invoice that I disputed was received, Mick filed a lien on my property (wrongly naming my neighbor as the owner initially - causing a great deal of anxiety) with the intent to foreclose if I didn't pay them in full, plus the 500 filing fee.

I hired a mediator so we could have a conversation and work things out, River City refused to mediate. Yesterday I received a letter from Mick demanding payment in 10 days, saying that their work was per industry standards and that their invoice was not overstated.
