HISTORY
Established in 2002.
Terry started with another plumbing company which gave him 10 year in New construction. He always wanted to strive for more to help others so since 2002 he started his own business running and answering the phone but by 2003 he asked me (Jamie) to take over phone so he could focus on work with the customer with out interruption, He is the main Journeyman working in the company right now with his son David as his helper, They focus on Remodels kitchen and bathes, re piping whole house, remove and replace water heaters as well at replace water services, we also can provide most fixtures at 20% over our cost but below your you retail cost to you. He also belongs with the Area plumbers JATC apprenticeship (Terry is and excellent teacher). We would like to have a company know for our trust and integrity good service.

I am the office manager also married to Terry. I worked at a dental office prior to helping Terry out with the business. We discus all aspects of the business before making a decision that is of best interest for the business.
At this time Terry is the only Journeyman and our son David is his helper at this time.

My water heater and toilet we leaking so I decided to call Terry Massey Plumbing. I was able to schedule an appointment within a week and they even called a few days before my appointment to see if I wanted to get him over sooner.
They showed up on time, offered to wear masks and were friendly and helpful.
Turns out my water heater just needed a new piece of pipe and was fixed easily and quickly. I also had him service my toilet, which they seemed to do a good job of. They were in an out in about an hour and charged me a fair price for the work. I felt they were honest, as I thought my hot water heater needed a new expansion tank, but he told me it just needed a simple fix.
He also asked if I needed anything else fixed before he left, which I thought was nice. I felt good that he was ready to help with whatever issue I may have. I'll definitely be calling back next time I need plumbing service.
Terry has a hard time with the truth.
Attached is the actual message sent to Terry Massey Plumbing requesting a quote for three faucets via Yelp.
Just like his business' claim that he follows all guidelines during COVID-19, like him NOT wearing a mask both times he showed up to come into my home.
If Terry cannot read the Yelp request, is not following guidelines during a pandemic, and cannot repair a basic tub or sink leak he should be the last # you call for help.
Honesty is the best policy, unless you are Terry Massey Plumbing

I had a leak in my water line near my water meter. They were able to come out same day to fix! I was working and they were able to communicate with me via text and were super efficient. They were very kind, patient and helpful! I will definitely be calling them in the future for any other plumbing needs!

How can I express what a great team this company has? If I could give them 10 stars I would. Old house, delicate plumbing, and Mr. Massey and his team worked all day to rid tree roots and broken pipe to fix toilet that was a problem for a very long time. Replace old toilet with new. Very fair price and he worked with Mr Simpson from PDX Sewer and Drain to get job done in one day.

Initially I loved this plumber, he did a great job on my kitchen faucet. It was expensive but it was done right. So a few months later I called because my shower was dripping. When they came I had already obtained the gasket for my shower head but was told it was not needed as it wasn't the gasket but some other minor item which they fixed. I paid the $200 service charge, which seemed a bit steep for the 15 minutes it took but it was fixed. No. 2 weeks later the shower started dripping again & continued at odd intervals over the next few weeks until I called to ask them to come back. Which they did today & at my insistence replaced the gasket & charged me, again. $350 + parts for the same leaky shower. Not happy customer.
I hired Terry Massey to assist an elderly friend with some plumbing problems. We had to wait a very long time (a month) for the appointment and then were bumped a day due to an emergency elsewhere which is why I give 4 stars. However, once they came, they did a great job changing out 1962 plumbing to handle a new dishwasher, replaced the broken toilet and discovered a leak as they assisted draining the irrigation system. All leaks are stopped, all plumbing tasks accomplished professionally, and I will definitely hire them in the future. Getting the irrigation leak fixed before winter and before it noticeably affected her water bill was stellar.

Absolutely no complaints. Jamie set up the appointment and Terry and son showed up exactly on time. Their work was exemplary and their price reasonable. Very pleased and recommend them to anyone who needs quality plumbing work.

We had an appointment with another plumber that cancelled at the end of the day (no reason) So I called 8 other plumbers BUT Only Terry would come out and even thought it was late, he fixed our hot water gushing leak in no time flat and the cost was SO MUCH better than we imagined. Thank-you SO Much we will have you back to fix a few other things! Hire this Man you will be happy! We are so thrilled with him!! (oh, he also did not mind our little dog wanting to help him and basically being right in the way)
Terry does outstanding work, and his wife Jamie is a great organizer. They show up when they say they will, they communicate clearly about the job, Terry and his son are courteous, and the results are exactly as expected.
It's not too often that you find a true mom and pop outfit, where their word is their bond. Terry Massey Plumbing is the real deal!
Update: I recommended Terry to a good friend who had been given estimates in the thousands of dollars to re-plumb the entirety of her new rental property to fix water pressure issues, and Terry did it for $150 by identifying one very obvious thing that the other plumbers had all overlooked.
This is why you hire Terry.
Terry and his son fixed our plumbing issues in the home we just purchased. They brought all supplies with them and were professional and efficient. They were able to come out 2 days after we initially called. We'll definitely use them again!

We had Terry Massey come to our house to consult with us about a problem with our pipes and washing machine flow issues. Previously we had a quote from another company who said we needed to replace the pipes which would have cost us over $1500! When Terry came he made other recommendations to try first. The first thing he tried took about an hour and fixed the problem without us having to replace our pipes...saving us over a $1000!!! He was very efficient and did an amazing job. We will recommend him to anyone who has plumbing needs!

Terry and a young man (his son?) arrived promptly and did a terrific job repairing a burst pipe leading to the outdoor faucet. When I had a small leak at the faucet site the next day, they returned quickly, diagnosed the problem as the hose I'd attached, not their work, put a washer in the hose, and fixed the leak. They could not have been nicer about the second visit for a problem that was not of their making. They are the best. Will use them again and again.
Terry did a beautiful job reworking some existing plumbing in an ADU we're building. He was on time, professional and took the time to answer all our questions. We definitley plan to use him again in the future!
Finally, I have found a plumber who does great work at a very fair price. I have been in Portland only 4 years and have had some very bad experiences. I am so grateful and happy that I found a plumber who is COMPETENT and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. My bathroom faucet was dripping on both sides. I tried to fix it and ordered parts, but like many plumbing projects, it quickly became way too difficult. The cold water handle was completely frozen inside, and it turned out that American Standard had sent a faucet base that didn't work with the set. Terry and son went out and picked up a set that would go with my old fashioned pedestal sink and popped it in. They are honest and competent. The job took about 5 hours (due to issues with frozen faucet and wrong base) and what he charged me was more than fair. Highly recommend!

My wife had been given a name and a number on the back of a business card should we ever need a plumber (evidently teachers discuss their plumbing problems at work:-) I gave Terry a call last week and he happened to be in Canby finishing up another project, so he stopped by and looked at and then worked on my well tank-which turned out to be a bigger project than anticipated. Terry just went to work and got it done. I had an odd size pipe coming up out of the garage floor and Terry did what he could with it. As it turned out it did not work out and I gave Terry a call and left a voice mail (this was on a Saturday). He returned that day and solved the issue, which saved me literally thousands of dollars.
I HIGHLY recommend him as a plumber I know I can count on and as a really affable, nice human being.

Terry Massey plumbing doesn't fool around, he comes to get the job done. So smart and clearly has a passion for what he does. Pricing is realistic. He was recommended to me and I've recommended him to several others and they've all been very pleased.
Terry came out and did a great job redoing some substandard under sink plumbing in a house we just bought. He clearly explained what he was going to do and got it all done in a timely manner even doing extra work that I thru at him. Great guy and local family business. I would recommend him to anyone I know that needs plumbing work done!!
This plumbing company is truly a class act. We hired them to fix a washing machine leak and get water flowing in a defunct bathroom we've ignored for years. But the moment Terry turned on one of our faucets, he frowned and asked What's going on with your water pressure? It's always been pathetically low and we plumbing ignoramuses thought unless we replaced all our ancient pipes for zillions we had to live with it. Terry and his son David could simply have done what we hired them to do, but instead they did some serious detective work, found the issue and in a matter of hours got that sweet SWEET plentiful water flowing. It was more work than we'd budgeted for, but Terry and David gave us a great deal on the cost. I couldn't be more grateful--I can finally take a lovely hot bath!!!!!!!If you want plumbers with integrity, who really care about your water issues, Terry and David Massey are your guys. Called this morning to have new piping put in under bathroom sink. Terry was able to work me in and he did a great job! I highly recommend him.
Terry and his son have done two jobs for me. Each time they quickly fixed problems that someone else bungled up for me. They even got my new dishwasher delivered and installed for me effeciently and successfully. This is an excellent crew for your plumbing needs!
Terry Massey Plumbing replaced all our water pipes from street to house. He was prompt, courteous, hard working and did a great job at a very affordable rate.
Terry cleaned up after so it looked like he had never been there. He was able to do the job without disturbing the sidewalk or our beautiful lawn.

I Use terry on all my plumbing projects from smaller type jobs to full kitchen and bath remodels. He is definitely one of the best plumbers around.
