Best Plumbing Services in Portland, OR
Of the FIVE area plumbers I contacted about a small repair I needed, only two of them responded. Of the two, only Curtis was willing to do that small of a job. He showed up exactly when he promised to and wrapped it up in less than an hour. If I ever have a larger job, I know who I am going to call.

We bought our home less than two years ago and it has always had issues with the sprinkler system. The company that apparently had last serviced our system had horrible reviews on both Yelp and Google, so I spent some time doing my research. I came across Jacob and Bridge City Backflow and I reached out. It is his busy season, so it took a few days to hear back, but I am so glad that we decided to wait and use him (based on his glowing reviews). He did not disappoint! Jacob is friendly, patient, knowledgeable and is going to do everything he can to ensure that things turn out the best for his customers while clearly explaining what he is doing. He also did not try to upsell or nickel and dime us, which he easily could have done being that I am definitely not an expert when it comes to sprinkler systems. He definitely understands that solid business comes through happy, returning customers and their referrals. Thanks for everything, Jacob!

Very knowledgeable and professional, had our drain cleared within 30 minutes on a Sunday. They are reasonable and do not charge extra on weekends!

I had a small leak in my water heater. Jared arrived shortly after my call and promptly fixed my leak for a very reasonable price. He even went a step further and added an additional valve as a preventative measure. He was great and I will call them again if I need a plumber.

I had recently noticed that the hot water pressure in my house was awful, and that it took forever to get hot water out of the faucets, especially the bathtub. I had 42 year old galvanized pipes and they were corroding and needed to be replaced. I got three estimates and Repipe Specialists was my middle bid. They did a terrific job replacing my pipes, all the way out to the street, and boring a hole thru my crawlspace wall to get into the house. They did the job in one day and now I have fast flowing hot water all over the house, with a wonderful new shower head, outside faucets that don't need insulation in the winter, and all pipes insulated. The woman who set up my AC repair site visit told me that they could service a certain manufacturer of AC units that I had, so I booked the appt. She was either mistaken or she lied to me. Either way, when the repair man came out he immediately apologized because they couldn't help with my specific manufacturer of AC unit. He then promptly left. I told them I shouldn't have to pay for the site visit since the HVAC tech did nothing but tell me he couldn't work on it. And that is after I asked the company specifically if they could. When I called the front office lady again I told her my case, I asked to speak to a manager repeatedly and she said no. Then she told me she would be taking me to collections. I asked again to talk to a manager to plead my case and she told me no. When I called back to figure out something so that I wasn't sent to collections, she had blocked my number. I would never ever use this company again. They are only out for their initial site fees and they don't care about the customer. In contrast, I called Central Heating and Cooling in Clackamas and told them what happened. They waved their fee since Sky had given me such a negative experience. And they did an amazing job on installing a new AC unit. I will never use Sky again and I am a life long customer for Central Heating and Cooling in Clackamas!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Tri County.
Tina in their office is amazing, empathetic, and professional. She helped me figure out what we needed to do when the line between our water meter and the house developed a severe leak last week, and walked me through every step of the process.
Jeremy came out to do the digging, plumbing, and line replacement, and he was efficient, personable, helped us prevent some potential problems with the inspector, and didn't mind when I asked a million questions.
10/10, will definitely be going to Tri County for all our future plumbing needs.

Brian was awesome! Slipped and fell one morning into the toilet. After I realize I wasn't gonna be able to solve the problem, because I realize my toilet I cracked; I gave Brian a call. He said he had some other job sites going on right now, but he would definitely make it out there later today. He was also able to give a me a quote over the phone, since I knew what was wrong with toilet. So I went to Home Depot and purchased a toilet. Sure enough, Brian was out there the time when he said he was going to be. With cash in my hand, and matter of a couple hours, I had a freshly new install toilet, water running, and my stressed relieved.
I highly recommend Brian.

Nathaniel, Alex, and Aaliyah we're fantastic to work with. We had an immediate need for plumbing help when our PRV(Regulator) starting knocking which caused high pressure and hammering all through our home. I reached out via their website and within the same day (Sunday) Nathaniel called me. He actually tried to help by troubleshooting with me to save myself money and fix the problem. Long story short I couldn't. 4 days later Alex came and diagnosed the problem then replaced our PRV and ensured no other issues were present with our plumbing. 6 other plumbing companies in the area could not come with 3 weeks and Brass Monkey fit us in urgently. Thank you for your integrity and professionalism. Everything was seemless and their pricing was near 300$ less than what other companies quoted us. True family business as they are siblings running their own company.

Our toilet backed up on. Saturday night. Sunday morning no plumbers were open. I posted a request for bids and Sean responded very quickly. He had great questions that helped diagnose the problem. Great communicator, giving us good heads up ahead of his arrival. Recommend.

Great guy - always available to help us out of our plumbing emergencies and at a fair price. I've already recommended John to multiple friends, who have also been pleased with his work. Highly recommend!

I called Mr. Rooter over for a free estimate on having our septic hooked up to the city line. Mr. Brian Lee the Excavation Supervisor who came out to give the estimate happened to show up while we were having another unrelated issue. It was a strange horrible smell coming from our pipes and a small(ish) leek in the sink in the downstairs bathroom. Brian went above and beyond in helping us out and looking into the additional things needed. He was able to fix the issue which was a loose fitting. I am eagerly waiting his estimate for the sewer line. He was on time helpful thorough and quick.

I had a leak in my water line near my water meter. They were able to come out same day to fix! I was working and they were able to communicate with me via text and were super efficient. They were very kind, patient and helpful! I will definitely be calling them in the future for any other plumbing needs!

I highly recommend Sutherland Plumbing. We had a major leak at the house that required a main line replacement as well as new pipes to a utility room. Ti gave a reasonable estimate and the work was well done. Even more rare was to find a plumber who is a great communicator on the whole process - Ti went out of his way to make sure I understood what needed to be fixed, the options available, when to expect someone at the house to locate all the utiity lines, the status of the plumbing permit, etc. It was refreshing to work with someone who was so professional and organized. And to top it all off, Ti finished the job on time as promised. If I have any other plumbing issues in the future, my first call will be to Sutherland Plumbing.

Oh man, these guys were great! We just moved into an older home a few days ago and the water shutoff for the washing machine was seized and broke off. I called at 830 am to see if they could make it over sometime in the next few days to fix it, and an hour later Travis was at my door. He cut out the previous owner's DIY valves and installed a new shutoff box for me, helped me move the old washer out and the new one in, and was on his way by 11! I honestly don't know if there would be cheaper options, but I fully expected to pay more than what I did for the job, so I think they are very well priced. Hillsboro Plumbing definitely has my future business!

They came out to caulk two drains in our tubs when we sold our home. The buyer's inspector had noticed that the caulk was uneven and the buyer requested a professional plumber to repair the caulk even though there were no drain issues. When we received the bill from Rayborn they had charged us for two entire tubes of caulk, even though they did not even use one (at a significant up charge for each). Even worse though one drain was not caulked correctly resulting in water pouring down from the ceiling into the room under the shower. When we followed up with them about the issue they claimed it was not their fault. We had no issues with the drain prior for nine years, but after their work a giant expensive leak they refused to pay for.
