Patrick was referred to my wife and I as a craftsman and someone that could be relied on to do the right job the first time. We have a challenging 1918 house upon which we were performing an overhaul on the downstairs bathroom. The project scope grew as we became aware of the condition of plumbing throughout the house. Patrick was clear and confident when he reviewed the job of re plumbing the downstairs bath. He clearly explained why it was necessary to replumb the upstairs bath which had been done improperly. I like to do a lot of our home repair work myself and it's nice to work with someone who has integrity and knowledge of the way to do things right.

Craftwork did all the original plumbing in my house 12 years ago. I have never had a problem with any of there work. It is top quality as I do live in an upscale neighborhood. They have always been prompt with returning service calls. They completed a kitchen renovation early and at a lower cost. When I have add emergencies, they have gotten to me right away. - even adding an unscheduled stop as one of the plumbers was on the way home. I cannot speak highly enough about their work and service. Their costs are always competitive or lower than anyone else.

These guys were great. Steven Jr. installed a new water heater in the garage when my other one had leaked and caused great water damage. He re-piped everything as well. Turned out I needed to have a forced bath remodel done due to the water damage, and Ackerman replaced the tub, toilet, fixed the leaks , etc....THey were honest and priced fairly. I had no complaints about them. I'm eventually going to hav to move the w/d to the garage too, which means repiping, and I will have them do that as well.

I don't do a lot of reviews...but I sure read them. Based on the previous reviewer's experience, I had Tyler come out to investigate a leak under the house...or so I thought. We pulled up the crawl space panel and there was at least 4 of standing water greeting us. This wasn't a job for a plumber. This was a job for a disaster restoration service. Although he didn't fix our problem, Tyler knew the water damage experts that would be best to handle it...gave us their contact info...and he didn't even charge us for his service call. He will be first on our list to call when we have an actual plumbing problem.

Called and left a message that I needed a bath tub faucet fixed because it was dripping, almost running. Got a call back same day, and Ken came out that day looked at what was needed and was back with the right parts the very next day. Great friendly service!

I would highly recommend hiring P1 Plumbing. I had a leak in my wall that was flowing for a while but I had no idea what the source was. Yuriy came out and found the leak immediately, his instincts are amazing! Right away he repaired the leak. He didn't just patch it but he replaced the leaking pipe with a new and sturdy segment and I definitely don't have to worry about that area leaking again. Really high-quality work and very thorough and cleaned up after the job. Amazing job!!

Is the best plumber I have ever met and very glad to have met. Walked me through and issue I was having over the phone. Would never recommend anyone else besides zack.

As avid DIY people, we always try to do the job ourselves first. When this didn't work out for us, I gave Mike a call. He gave me a bunch of tips and tricks to try, and said I could give a call back to schedule if I couldn't figure it out. We kind of laughed about this, as it was so unexpected that he didn't try to book a spot on our schedule right away, but appreciated that he really upped our DIY plumbing knowledge first. We did, in the end, schedule with him, and they did an excellent job on the work we needed done in our aging home.

My only interaction with Pete was over the phone. I left a message and he called back. After briefly discussing the symptoms he knew exactly (not exaggerating, potato peels in the T pipe) what the issue was and talked me through how to DIY the solution. I took care of it myself, saved a little money in the process, and got credit from my SO for fixing the issue. Next time I have a plumbing issue I am definitely calling Pete!

Okay, so I am going to sort of repost most of an experience I had today with another company here to highlight the great service I received from Cherry City Plumbing.
Called to get a water heater replaced. I was not really interested in estimates (though they did give some), I just wanted the job done and was willing to book the job then and there. I called Judson's Plumbing and it seems Judson's requires a photo of the water heater sent to them before they will commit to the job even though I gave the details concerning the water heater in question. Trouble is their office staff have no idea how to deal with graphics sent to them or they didn't want the business. Twice I sent the picture in the email address given to me. Nope, they claim they didn't get the email and nothing was returned to me saying there was a problem sending the message. Okay, let's try sending it in text. Same issue, they say they didn't get it. I am a retired software engineer, I wrote a lot of code that is used to send emails; I know how to send a text and email message. My guess is that Judson's didn't want the job (really easy install in the garage with no obstructions) so they played the we didn't get the file game and really insisted they have a picture. I do wonder about those without smart phones or the experience of sending graphics being left out of the loop. So much for inclusion.
Okay now onto the good stuff.
I called Cherry City Plumbing and they said, picture? don't need no stinking picture. Okay, so I played that up a bit but they really were surprised a picture was needed by Judson's before booking a job. Cherry City Plumbers didn't need any picture and were very professional and helpful (and nice) and booked me with Anthony, a very accomplished technician who did the job of replacing our water heater the same day for $400 less than the lowest price quoted by Judson's. My advise, call Cherry City Plumbers first and save yourself a lot of frustration and money to boot, and you won't need any stinking pictures.

Cory and his guys do everything that the other reviews said!
But it is the after service that I am commenting on.
Issue number 1 after sewer replacement was completed: Basement flooded do to sewer line backup. Called and Cory had someone out that afternoon. The backup was not an issue relating to their work but Joe scoped to find the problem and unclogged the line anyway.
Issue number 2 after sewer replacement was completed and 6 months later: Soil sinking around the new clean outs. E-mailed Cory and a crew was out within a few hours and remedied the problem. Scoped to make sure there was no line problem and filled the settling. Professionally handled with a minimum of disruption.
I am an old grouch and I have never had aftercare service like this, especially in the plumbing world.

Rob keeps everything neat and tidy. He did quite a bit of work (presssure regulator on main line, expansion tank on tankless water heater, two new outside hose bibs, replace frozen hose bib, etc). Rob initially installed the valves for winterizing the lines hidden in the crawl space and under a toilet, like most plumbing is done. Once I communicated my need to have everything readily accessible, Rob returned and moved the valves out of hiding in crawl space and replaced the functionality of the little bleeder valves with an easy to turn hose faucet for draining the lines--all for the originally agreed upon price for the job. I could not be happier. These people keep their customers happy and do very good work! They will continue to be my go-to plumbers!

Do not use! Was hired to fix our bathroom leak. Did not fix problems. Would not give us specific reason why. But still charged us full price! Without fixing anything!
THEN would not give us a detailed breakdown of work done, or materials used!
BEWARE better option exist in Portland!

Bob is overrated, I was recommended by a friend and she raved about him. A bit overpriced for the work he did and I still had to call someone else to come fix his work

Recently I needed a plumber again and immediately called my absolute favorite, these guys.
For the second time in less than a year they were fair, extremely customer service oriented and exceedingly helpful.
I can not say enough great things about this business.
Again, thank you so very much for everything. You're the GREATEST.
While I hope I don't need a plumber again anytime soon, I am at peace knowing that I already have the number to the BEST.

These guys were awesome! They were very punctual and communicative and fixed my clogged kitchen drain quickly. I appreciated how friendly and knowledgeable they were as well and will definitely recommend them to local family and friends if they need a plumber. I never thought I'd be so happy to wash dishes after they cleared the problem in our sink!!

We were quoted a base rate of $99 plus some fees to assemble and install a toilet. There was no removal, no haul away, and the bathroom space was wide open. The total came to $350. My email questioning this charge has gone unanswered.
If I'd been given a realistic quote, I'm sure I could have beaten that price - or I would have installed myself. The installation was adequate, but the sales tactics are questionable.

I work in facility management and work with service providers day in and day out. Gator Plumbing was called to my personal home by my warranty company. I can honestly say, I have NEVER encountered a service provider that is so utterly unprofessional. I feel upset that I let Tim, the owner and sole operator, into my home.
Not only is Tim incapable of sticking to scheduled appointments (he rescheduled on me 4 times... often 10 minutes prior) and he blatantly threatened me (I know where you live) when I told him I was getting frustrated as my job would no longer accommodate me taking time off to make appointments. I filed a police report regarding this incident as I was genuinely concerned for my safety.
I truly believe that warranty companies work with Tim because of his low cost and Tim enjoys working with warranty companies because it allows him to do, say and treat people however he likes. There is no doubt that Tim operates with zero integrity.
