I contacted Anthony about a gas pipe inspection I needed for my condo and he was very quick to respond. He explained the Local Law 152 inspection process and told me what was involved. He was willing to send someone out first thing Monday morning to give me an estimate which I appreciated very much. I couldn't use him but was very impressed with the reviews I read on Yelp and told him I was actually looking forward to hiring him in the future! Even though it's not something many people would admit to, lol.

I am very satisfied and content with the work that Safeway Sewers conducted. Both Peter and Javier were very accommodating to my schedule and the needs of service to our toilet that was leaking with every flush. They were communicative prior to arrival and as they fixed the piping they also cared to explain what was the cause. They ensured that nothing was leaking after and took their time to do it right. I appreciate their services during these times and would definitely recommend them to others looking for work to be done and/or fixed.

Update: Our sink is now fixed. Also, our bathtub was snaked.  The first visit was on a Saturday night. Follow up to do the job was on Monday.  We could not be happier.  These guys really are special. First visit was from the owner himself. The installation was performed by Miguel two days' later.  Excellent service. Eternally grateful!

BLUF: Knowledgeable, straightforward, efficient, courteous, expensive.

A part in our boiler system was starting to go bad, occasionally making sharp noises and leaking lubricating oil. We used Yelp's Projects feature to look for contractors to help us resolve this situation. I added a picture of the part making unusual noises to my Yelp project request to provide some detail about the situation.

Tom's Plumbing & Heating Services responded first. From my photo, Justin identified my malfunctioning part as the circulator pump, and after a few questions confirming that nothing else was wrong, Justin recommended that the circulator pump be replaced. He provided two options for circulator pumps, along with web links and total costs for each option, and a web link to my existing circulator pump for reference. I selected a pump with horsepower equivalent to my existing pump. The cost of all parts that Justin referenced were roughly equivalent on Amazon.com.

Other vendors requested a complete picture of the boiler system, or had initial consultation fees.

The service visit totaled roughly 90 minutes. In that time, Justin:
- Replaced the boiler drain valve because it hasn't been used in many years and no longer worked
- Drained my boiler
- Installed the new circulator pump
- Bled (i.e., removed air from) most of my radiators. Justin emphasized the importance of bleeding the radiators, as air in the system reduces the boiler's efficiency.
- Demonstrated how to override the water pressure regulator in case of insufficient system pressure.
- Pointed out other potential points of failure to monitor in the boiler system -- the water pressure regulator and expansion tank.

Overall, we were very happy with the service provided.

I contacted BK Piping and Heating to request a check-up of the fixtures in my apartment. There was an off-and-on leak under the kitchen sink and a new small leak from the toilet. I contacted them via Yelp messaging and received a reply right away. They worked with me to schedule a time to come in and arrived on the agreed upon day on time. The price I was quoted was reasonable and the work was done efficiently and well. I would definitely use this company again!

Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

Serve Well came to replace a boiler following the Super Storm Sandy aftermath. With  demand for boilers at a peak, they were not only able to supply a boiler but were able to install within days after our call to them. They are professional, cordial, honest and on the ball! I recommend them for any plumbing job large or small. Very happy with their service!

We used them earlier this year to replace our toilet and redo the piping under our kitchen sink.  Quick, professional and clean.  

We called them a second time to help us with our dishwasher unfortunately it could not be saved.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

I was very impressed with MKC Plumbing and the work that was done in my home. Chris was very professional from the beginning. As a new home owner I appreciated him answering our questions and giving tips for us going forward. We'll be using him for any future plumbing needs.

Had previously had good experiences with this company as my co-op has used them for a few years. That said, last time they came and did radiator work they caused a lot of damage to my window sill from a saw they were using to cut radiator pieces. Both the window and the radiator need to be repaired/repainted. I was put in touch with Paul who was apologetic, and offered to have someone come paint it. I replied back with my preferred solution, and ask of $75 to have my painter handle it while he was here for other work. I've followed up 5 times since and Paul has never responded. Plumbing emergency is not cheap, But the perfect job makes it less painful. We definitely use them again.

Had to wait longer than expected for all repairs to be completed because of COVID, but understandable. Their plumber Shpat was the best one I've ever had. Wore a mask, very polite and patient in explaining cause of problems and he knew his shit when it came to my specific toilet, sink and shower/tub! A true professional and a credit to his profession.

Rusty did the job no one else could! We had been trying to find a plumber to replace a very old toilet in the house. Previous plumbers said they would have to rip open the whole wall to complete the job. Rusty came and completed the job quickly, efficiently and with minimal mess. Highly recommend!!

I had a clogged kitchen drain, leaky faucet, and very old pipes that leaked. I decided to use ESP plumber l. They came the same evening, unclogged the drain, and recommended replacing the faucet and pipes to prevent a huge disaster. I informed them that I would like to proceed based on their estimates for the parts and service and they were able to come the next day. Although the tech was running late, they kept me
updated and informed of the reason for delay such as traffic. Overall, they were very professional, communicative, and provided excellent service. I am happy with the new detachable faucet and pipes. I highly recommend using their services!

Marinel was an excellent plumber with whom to work. Very professional, fast, easy to schedule with, and very true to his word. The overall experience couldn't have moved more smoothly. I had a water heater die mid-day, and Marinel had the new water heater installed the following morning first thing. Beautiful plumbing work too for the new unit, which was larger than the previous unit and required some reworking of the pipes. Highly recommend!
