Got quoted $2500 for sewer hydro-jetting when everyone else was giving me quotes for $400-$500 range. Thiefs and very unethical because originally they quoted me $500 and then after agreeing to do the job, within 5 minutes om the same phonecall they changed the price to $2500. FYI i got the same job done for $400. They upped the price because I was very cooperative and willing to pay the $500 and they thought they caught a big fish as I heard them giggling ik the background.

Our water boiler leaked overnight. Found Tom's on Yelp and reached out. They were responsive, courteous, and professional. Justin came that afternoon to replace our boiler with a brand new one and hauled the old one away. Would highly recommend.

Our his and her sinks in our master bathroom were clogged. We were unable to get them unclogged with conventional p trap cleaning. I messaged bk piping at midnight and within 12 hours the next day he was there. He was able to dislodge quite a ton of buildup in both sinks with his own auger. The drains still were clogging due to the T design of the piping and couldn't get the snake down the bottom part of the T, but he didn't leave the job. He ended up having to use a special liquid product which ended up clearing the clog. Fair pricing compared to other quotes I got and quick response via text and to get to the job.

Horrible.  Made an appointment for the next day.  I waited until 30 minutes after the appointment time to call for an ETA.  An hour and a half later (2 hours after the appointment time) I get a call from a different plumber, saying that Hub had given them my name and number because they could not come.  Totally unprofessional to 1) not call me directly and tell me they couldn't come; 2) to give my cell number to another company without asking first.

My old dishwasher had to be replaced and due to the newer model I was purchasing,I had to update the plumbing under the sink.  I found Chris on Yelp, we spoke on the phone and he suggested I send him a photo of what I had now.  He quoted a price and we set up a date.  Chris did an excellent job and, in fact, I hired him for another job that I needed done.  He's very personable and I was so glad I found him.  I would definitely hire him again should the need arise.  He's the tops.

My bathroom faucet needed to be replaced and they were very efficient and responded to my service request quickly. I would definitely recommend them for any plumbing needs and I would definitely use them again in the future.

This is not an honest company.  

My boiler's hot surface igniter goes on and off.  I called the office and spoke to Donna two days ago.  I asked what do they charge for making a visit.  She replied the big boss will be there so I should ask him.  A guy came and tightened wires and said there is nothing to maintain for my boiler.  He said it's working fine and charged us $150 for something that took him less than ten minutes.  I called Donna to ask if they would charge again if the igniter goes out again.  She sounded very annoyed and said maybe she'll give us a discount if it goes out next few days.  Well the igniter went out eight hours after he visited and I called and left a message.  It's been more than 24 hours since I left a message and no one got back to me.  

They should make it very clear what they charge for their first hour and additional hours plus parts.  I know plumbers are in high demand in the winter time, but my experience with this company was pretty bad.  I felt like we got robbed because he did not fix what I called him for.

I want to give 10 out of 5.  They answered my phone call  at anytime during business hours and the customer service representatives are very kind and keep me updated with texts and phone calls.  The specialist was very punctual and professional.  I am definitely gonna use WaterMac again.

I had an issue with installing a bidet toilet seat because our bathroom setup was irregular. GG Plumbing suggested the part that would fix the issue. This was after I already tried to ask many other plumbing companies for solutions to no avail. I even went to a plumbing supply store but that didn't help either. Thanks to GG Plumbing, I was able to install the toilet seat with minimum cost. Even though I didn't need for GG to come help, his quoted price was also much more reasonable than the other plumbing companies I reached out to.

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

Chris was on time, did great work for a fair price. Would 100% use many more times in the future! He is willing to come on short notice and goes the extra mile to make sure the job is done right.

They had worked on the heater fix in Dec 2021 by replacing the Pressure Relief Valve (external).  The total bill is $852.72.  I had asked 3 times (initial assessment, office and the on-site tech), none of them provided price quote.  Then they billed me $250 for the 1 hour they took to by the replacement part, but never disclosed of this billable hour upfront.  The valve was billed for $247, market value is $150.  I had to pay $500 just for the replacement part.  Emailed the company a few times and no productive response so far.  The worst part is after the onsite tech claimed the work is done and left, 4 mins later, the replaced new valve started leaking again.  The company owner claimed there is nothing wrong with their service quality.  After they adjusted the pressure, leaked stopped.  It makes me wonder if the part replacement($500) is even necessary?  Hope my experience is helpful to you since I don't wish anyone has to go through this like me.

I've used Waterhouse twice when my old 1920s bathroom had issues that I couldn't resolve on my own. When you need a plumber, it's always an emergency, and they respond in a timely manner, and once they even came on the weekend. They care about doing good work, and have even replaced old valves in my apartment that are clearly above and beyond the scope of the work that I had called them out for.

When you look for people to service aspects of your home, you never know who's going to be good and who you can trust, but I've found my plumber!

I had a great experience with Bargain Plumbing and Heating. They came on time and the technician, Shpati, was friendly and quiet. They charged $85 to diagnose the problem and then put that amount towards the labor and materials.

I had a corroded pipe under my sink and it was a little difficult to get to. Shpati stayed for an a little over an hour and the total price was $245. It might be a little high for one hour of work and I know the pipe didn't cost much, but the easy service and friendly demeanor, was worth it to me. Shpati also cleaned up the area when he left. I would definitely call them again if I need a plumber.

I just wanted to say thank you! I had a dripping faucet in the kitchen that I wanted to replace, and rusty gave me an estimate that slightly exceeded my expectation, but I decide to give a try because he said everything included in that price. The next day, Rusty showed up with the faucet that I really liked but didn't want to buy (i.e., good brand but expensive!) he even paid attention to the color of the sink so now they match! I am very happy with his service and completely persuaded that he was very honest with the pricing quote.

John came in to fix my kitchen sink by replacing the piping and putting in the faucet. He was communicative about his eta and was efficient in his work. The price was fair compared to other quotes I got and I could tell this is an honest company.

He was funny to chat with and very personable. He gave some tips and ideas for the sink maintenance going forward and bathroom work.

Overall, great job and would def use them again for work in the future!

I called and asked how much it would be for someone to pit in a pilot valve on my boiler. I already know whats wrong with it. My old one was buzzing and my friend already bought the part, he just hasmt had time yet to install. The wasnted $175 TO WALK IN MY DOOR to look at it. Just to assess the problem they wanted almost $200 and their address is about a mile from my house. Dont walk RUN. I dont care how many good reviews they get. I no lonher believe any of these boiler people reviews.

We had an appointment window of 11a to 3p and called repeatedly, someone shows up at 8p.  We called to have a bathroom faucet replace and they wouldn't give any pricing over the phone - said we would get it on site. When the plumber got here, he quoted us $450 and said it was a 30 minute job. This is outrageous pricing for 30 minutes or work (in addition to all of the extra waiting time). We said no way and sent them away.
