Gave me a price estimate via yelp message when I told him my clogging issue..received a text that the workers were coming shortly and in no time they were at my door.

UNFORTUNATELY 5 months later, I had to edit my review about this company due to a worker. I contacted this business once again due to slow draining in my basement shower, usually when this happens it's due to my house trap being clogged.

Messaged the company via Yelp, Jimmy is a great guy must I add! He responded quickly and called me to set up an appointment ASAP. Justin was sent over the same day, took a look at the trap, we ran the shower and he told me that my water flow was great and there was no type of clog in the trap, advised me to plunge the shower. Justin spend no more than 15 minutes at my place and assured me that my trap was perfectly fine.

I asked him what is the charge, he replied nobody gave you a price I replied no, he hesitated and told me $100 ... $100??? For a 15minute job to tell run my shower for 10seconds??? Wow !! I then tried to get a hold of jimmy to explain but I guess he was busy and there was no answer, I messaged him via Yelp as well...I didn't want the worker standing outside in the cold and just gave him the $100.

I totally understand that time is money & gas is expensive to make that trip to evaluate the problem. But cmon $100? In September when i did have the trap blockage I was charged the same price! The workers advised me to have the trap maintained every 6 months and I was totally fine with $100 for maintenance! I really thought that I had found an honest company finally! Jimmy, returned my call and told me that if I have a blockage problem he will have a worker come free at charge. But what if I never have the problem again? I'm sorry but I court see if the guy charged me at least under $100 for a 15 minute job.

The receipt says that Justin stated there was muck in the trap .. if there was muck he should have removed the muck. There was NOTHING removed from the trap as Justin stated it was a clear and he was no blockage.

Javier was great! I called after my main sewer line at home got backed up, he gave me an eta and arrived within that time, he also provided a price for a standard size line, he arrived fixed the issued and cleaned up after! Very professional service! Saved your number on my phone!

I called Mike of thesewerguyinc.com aka L & C Sewers and Drains late in the morning a couple of days ago. I had already hired two different plumbers who had tried and failed to clear a sewage line from a kitchen sink, and dealt with two other plumbers who strung me along and then dropped me before ever showing up so I was getting pretty stressed out.  Mike and I talked briefly about the problem and he told me he'd get someone over there in the early afternoon, and that he felt confident that his guy Giovanni would succeed where others had failed.  Because of some challenges his guy had at the first job, he ended up coming later than expected, but there was pretty good communication, so it wasn't such a big deal. Mike ended up coming with the other guy Giovanni and with an arsenal of plumbing snakes, cameras, and other tools to get the job done. After a couple of unsuccessful first attempts to clear the line, he told me that he was the best person for the job because he was committed to figuring out a solution, and that he wouldn't give up until he succeeded. After four false starts with other plumbers, I loved hearing that!  He suggested several possible last resort measures he could take but ended up going with something much less costly and that didn't require opening any walls. He charged me a reasonable fee, was very pleasant to deal with, and cleaned up well before he left. I recommend this business 100%. I feel so glad to have found them.

I had a baseboard heating unit that was rattling, and I realized it was time for  the boiler to be serviced. Tom was quick to respond when I texted. He was very nice to work with, and was forthcoming with information about exactly what was happening and how I could prevent issues going forward. He was generous about checking out a possible problem with the toilet and diagnosed the problem. I will absolutely work with Tom again!!

Bruno was extremely responsive, always prompt and fairly priced. I found BK through Yelp having never used Bruno before. I had a toilet that was leaking through the floor. I would definitely recommend BK, especially in a world where many service providers regularly run late or are unresponsive. He took care of my problem and was pleasant to work with. While i wouldn't say he was cheap, I would certainly say his price was fair for the work done. Some plumbers charge a large amount just to show up. That wasn't the case with Bruno. He also communicated well via text to coordinate and keep me informed on scheduling.

Let me start by saying there aren't enough stars to give Hub Plumbing and John their due!

We are tenants who moved into an apartment, where everything was unexpectedly broken and we had a shower that had mold inside the tiles that needed to be rebuilt.
We were being yanked around for months until we met John of Hub Plumbing. John was not only kind and punctual, he fixed absolutely everything and then helped us find people to rebuild our shower and make everything work and is now clean!

These first few months moving to our new apartment have been wildly stressful and John and Hub Plumbing were truly the bright light that made everything better. He knows his stuff, is ethical and is really good at his job.

Called and an appointment was given for a specific date and time.  Plumber never showed up and no one even bothered to call to cancel.  Kept me waiting, wasting valuable time.

Had some water leakage from my furnace and contacted Watermac through Yelp for a non-emergency appt. They responded very quickly. On the day of my appt, I received text confirmation with a picture of my technician and a link to track his location and ETA (LOVE this). My technician (Joseph) arrived within the scheduled time frame. He was upfront about everything through the whole process, including costs and diagnostic theories, and did not pressure me into repairs. Overall I was very happy with the service - as far as costs, I really have nothing to compare to the work I had done (drain cleaning was about $240??) but the $170 diagnostic fee seemed comparable to other estimates I received. Would definitely use them again.

Needed a hot water tank replaced right away. Got quotes from a few other local plumbers. GG Plumbing's quote was the second cheapest. However, Gasper was very quick to respond and he gave me a firm quote. After calling back the lower priced plumber who then gave me the price starting at... spiel, I went with my gut and gave Gasper the green light to start the work. The guys showed up the same day at the promised time and got it done in a couple of hours. Quick and painless experience for a plumbing emergency. I am happy!

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

Chris was very professional and helpful. On my first call with him, he didn't upsell me or force to come over to charge me for an eval fee.

Instead, he listened to my problem, did a quick diagnosis over the phone, and asked me to try re-caulking my bathtub. No upselling, all honest, reasonable, and professional suggestions.

Unfortunately, the ceiling was still leaking after the re-caulking, and he eventually had to come take a look. Turns out it was a leaky toilet. At a very reasonable price, he fixed the leak despite having to deal with all our feces and urine all over the floor. Never once did he complain.

Chris is a plumber I can trust, and I won't hesitate to call him if I ever have any water or pipe issues in the future.

They had worked on the heater fix in Dec 2021 by replacing the Pressure Relief Valve (external).  The total bill is $852.72.  I had asked 3 times (initial assessment, office and the on-site tech), none of them provided price quote.  Then they billed me $250 for the 1 hour they took to by the replacement part, but never disclosed of this billable hour upfront.  The valve was billed for $247, market value is $150.  I had to pay $500 just for the replacement part.  Emailed the company a few times and no productive response so far.  The worst part is after the onsite tech claimed the work is done and left, 4 mins later, the replaced new valve started leaking again.  The company owner claimed there is nothing wrong with their service quality.  After they adjusted the pressure, leaked stopped.  It makes me wonder if the part replacement($500) is even necessary?  Hope my experience is helpful to you since I don't wish anyone has to go through this like me.

These are the best plumbers I have used. They came and resolved all the issues in a professional and speedy manner, even showing me how to fix some small issues in the future on my own. The pricing was super reasonable and lower than other quotes that I had gotten. Will definitely be using them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Shower was clogged from too much hair going down the drain.  I tried everything but need a profesh.  Rusty's was easy to text and had someone come the next day.  Service was fast, friendly and a good price.

John is not only an expert in his field and he is an honest man. He told me what the issue was and how that could be fixed. He went on further that if the issue was inside the wall it should be the building's responsibility and asked me to speak to building management. He cares about his customers and thinks for them. I highly recommend him and trust his business will do great because he is an honest man and a real customer centered service!

Quick and prompt service. We needed a gas line terminated and they were able to complete the job the very next day.
