With these recent very heavy rains my backyard drain was moving incredibly slow and needed professional attention. I initially contacted 49.99 drain service and had a terrible customer service experience over the phone and will never use them again. I then contacted Roto Rooter and they came to my house looked at the drain and gave me a price of $385 plus tax!!!! I said no thanks! I turned to yelp and found so many glowing reviews about original
718. I  called  them after 9 am today (Saturday). Michael the owner answered. He asked me about my problem and quoted me a price of 100 dollars! He sent someone over that morning after 11 am!!! Incredibly competent and polite technician took care of my problem! Thank you for polite, efficient, swift and affordable service!!!  I will definitely use again and recommend to my neighbors as well!!

Hired for a video inspection and cleaning / snake of main sewer line - team was responsive, pricing was competitive and the service was great. Pete and Javier were punctual, took their time, answered all of our questions and got the job done.  Exactly what I needed, when I needed it. Would recommend.

These guys are TOPS. Sent out an auto yelp request on Christmas Eve and Mike took the call and was even willing to send someone that eve or Xmas day to fix a boiler. Two days later, for a different problem at a friend's place, he took a call at 7p and showed up within 20 minutes and stayed until the problem (flooded basement from burst pipe at abandoned house next door) was fixed.

Justin came through and saved the day when I had a heavy pipe leak in the AM that my landlord couldn't be bothered with.  Very quick, came within two hours of contacting and at a lower rate than other neighborhood shops who got back to me after it was already fixed.  Highly recommend if you want a fairly priced, quick, painless plumbing experience!

The shutoff valve to our outdoor hose line was faulty, and water was leaking through at a steady stream. With cold weather incoming, they managed to come out the next day and replace the valve for a reasonable price. Professional and worked quickly, really appreciated it especially given the timing urgency. Would definitely recommend.

I called this place based on their yelp reviews which I may add was the first time I have ever done something like that.  My building (a co-op) was not particularly helpful in finding a plumber to fix a leak under my sink and I really had no idea who to call.  I left a message and received a return call within the hour.  The man who called me back was professional and knew exactly which forms and insurance my building required. Turns out his name is John and he is the owner.  I was able to make the appointment for the next day.  (I did have to prepay by credit card) Rich was the plumber who came to me, he evaluated what the issue was, and fixed it in probably 10 minutes.  But he stayed to make sure there was no more leak.  I have had a lot of workers in my apartment, and I was impressed by how polite and pleasant he was, how reassuring he was and I felt very confident in his abilities.  He told me they have a 30 day guarantee but he said I could call if I had a problem after that time.  Of course, he doesn't think I will have a problem and I feel much better now that it is fixed!  Thank you!

Our sink had a bad leak and we were worried that no one would come in on a Sunday afternoon let alone with a corona virus going around but his team sent Chris right over within the hour to fix our sink and even an additional problem with the toilet all on one quote. He was very nice and even cleaned up after himself! I highly recommend Chris and his team!

Found Top Pro Plumbing via yelp.  I needed a pipe in the basement fixed that had developed a leak.  Benny responded very quickly on yelp.  We set up a time to meet and he came and gave me a free estimate.  It was fair and very reasonable so we set up to do the work the next day.   Benny called and showed up on time and the pipe was changed quickly with no surprises.  I am setting up an appointment now for other plumbing work that needed to be done that I had been putting off.  Thanks, Benny!

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! I came home on a Friday evening to a broken water heater and a damp basement. Given all of the phased openings and general uncertainty around Covid-19 my family expected cold showers until Monday at least I launched a request for quotes either way.

Tom and Fred responded to my request almost immediately! Then I had to re-read the message several times because I could not believe they would be available for this job Saturday morning (the very next day)! But it gets better, they showed up early! It's early Saturday AM, we have a fantastic new water heater, cleanly installed and the old water heater has been carted away. I can't say enough about Serve-Well, hire this team with confidence!

The company offered to return and complete the inspection at no additional charge
or accept our suggestion and issue a refund for the charges. We requested the refund to our CC which processed a few days later.  
For the refund I added one star to this review, however I am still unhappy for the full hour we spent, the aggravation, and that we went through a pandemic risk (in case the technician had covid, even though he wore a mask and shoe covers) for nothing.
We completed the inspection with another provider and fixed the problem.

They told us they will inspect our HVAC on the roof for $59. And they stated that after the inspection  they were to tell us what is wrong, and if we agree on their suggested fix, they will deduct that amount from the repair total. We agreed.

After the technician got on our roof they said to my partner that we must pay this fee for dispatching and that the real inspection fee is $120.

We refused. Called the company and asked to speak with the owner or a manager, only to be told that NOONE was available.

No inspection was performed.
Still, we were required to pay $59.
Very nice way to create new customers.

Needed a hot water tank replaced right away. Got quotes from a few other local plumbers. GG Plumbing's quote was the second cheapest. However, Gasper was very quick to respond and he gave me a firm quote. After calling back the lower priced plumber who then gave me the price starting at... spiel, I went with my gut and gave Gasper the green light to start the work. The guys showed up the same day at the promised time and got it done in a couple of hours. Quick and painless experience for a plumbing emergency. I am happy!

We recently had an issue with needing a sign-off and he responded immediately.  

He has a master plumber license and that means he can get things done directly with Department of Buildings.  Uptown property owners needing to find a good plumber should seek him out.

MKC Plumbing is awesome! If I have any plumbing issue, I immediately call Kris. MKC Plumbing has been a life-saver on a few occasions for me and I never hesitate to call them. They don't try to nickle and dime people and they're super nice. I always have a great plumbing experience with them.

It was right before Xmas and it was hard to get anyone to come so quickly. They did an excellent job for a very fair price.
So when his apt. had another issue we called them and they spent 3.5hrs and did a fantastic job. This was the first time we had direct experience with them.
They solved a very complex blockage problem between the washing machine in the bathroom and the kitchen drain in the next room. They really kept at it until they figured the root cause and then they fixed it.
I cannot recommend Larry and his partner highly enough. Trustworthy, competent and experienced. They also cleared up very well.

Plumbing emergency is not cheap, But the perfect job makes it less painful. We definitely use them again.

I had a good experience with Bargain Plumbing.  I was helping out my friend's aunt who owns an apartment in Brooklyn.  My friend was out of town, so I helped out.  Bargain Plumbing came out, were on time, the technician was friendly, worked fast, but efficiently and gave what I thought was a fair price.  They didn't leave much of a mess either.  A good experience!

I chose Rusty Sewer and Drain as recommended  by a friend and gave 5 star review and was more than satisfied with the service and results. Rusty are incredible. Called for what had become a somewhat recurring problem with a clogged pipe in my Auntie's house. They went above and beyond to attempt to fix it and lay out available long term options.

So happy to be able to use this local, family run business. No one wants plumbing issues but  so glad  to have them on speed dial for when issues do arise. Rare to have something so stressful turn into an absolute pleasure but they managed to make it happen and make my Auntie very happy.

John and his crew are the BEST. They are reliable, communicative and so easy to work with. We called him because we had issues with our heating system, and John resolved with quickly and without any BS. If you need help with your heating or plumbing, he's the guy!

Needed a check valve installed for my sewage main line as well as cover caps replaced. They gave a fair quote for the work. Arrived on time as agreed (15 minutes early actually) and finished the work relatively quick. Answered any questions I had. After they finished up I had a completely separate question about my sump pump which was leaking and Allstate looked at my problem and patched it up real quick for no charge. I was amazed and grateful for their generosity. Overall they were very prompt and professional and I would not hesitate to contact them for future work.

We had an appointment window of 11a to 3p and called repeatedly, someone shows up at 8p.  We called to have a bathroom faucet replace and they wouldn't give any pricing over the phone - said we would get it on site. When the plumber got here, he quoted us $450 and said it was a 30 minute job. This is outrageous pricing for 30 minutes or work (in addition to all of the extra waiting time). We said no way and sent them away.
