I've been using Gateway Plumbing & Heating for over 10 years. In that time, I've lived in or managed 4 different properties with issues ranging from toilet repairs and replacement to hot water heater replacement. I also have Gateway do annual boiler maintenance. Over the years, all of their technicians have been professional and personable, with Sal being one of the plumbers I see often. Dave, one of the owners, personally handled oversight of a recent gas line replacement project. Stratos, new to the Gateway team, confirms appointments in advance and follows up. The office staff is also very helpful. I highly recommend Gateway Plumbing!

I dont need a plumber every day... but when I do, Guarini is the only one I would use or recommend.  These guys are great.  Today I had banging noises in my furnace, I called them, they were there before their estimate, took care of the situation, and were out in a little over an hour.  Chris was great, he explained what he was planning to do and what he thought the problem was, and sure enough, fixed it right away.  
I have only great words and recommendations for this Plumbing and heating company.... I have used them on an off for over 18 years.  They are the best you can get in Jersey City!

My service call to American Water Resource was contracted out to Liquid Tech Plumbing & Heating. I received a call from the office to schedule the visit, email notification when the plumber will arrive. Plumber was friendly, did not make a huge mess and found the issue very quickly.

I had a very bad waste pipe and house drain pipe break in the basement. It was REALLY BAD! I called Fenix Pipe Repair and Mike answered the call. He came and analyzed the problem and the very next day fixed everything. He went above and beyond my expectations and gave me a very good price for the work. He used quality materials and did the job quickly! Mike is very professional, courteous, knowlegeable and considerate. He came on time. He was able to spot other smaller problems and fix them too! I can't say enough good things about him and thank you doesn't suffice for all that he has done for me and my family. He is now our official plumber! Thank you again!

Ivar is a very honest stand up guy. This man is highly knowledgeable & gave solid recommendations for my sewer line issue. And best of all His rates are very reasonable!!!

I had very low hot water pressure in a bathroom sink. I reached out to Jimmy for a quote which was very responsible. He later came out to do the repair. He was prompt, professional and was able to fix the issue and install a new faucet in a timely manner. I highly recommend his services.

I had Alive Plumbing come out to fix my plumbing and they were fabulous. They are so friendly and nice and when they work they keep their area clean, which I love. They do such fantastic work that I will always call them to come and fix any plumbing problems that I have.

Very respectable and easy to work with. I had plenty of questions but they took their time walking me through the process.

Mike was honest, professional, and fairly priced. I sent him a message via Yelp to describe my boiler issue. He promptly called me to further discuss and confirm my address. 45 minutes later he was at my front door. It couldn't have been more than 2 hours from the time I sent him the message to the the time the job was completed. The short turnaround was just a bonus. Even if I had waited half the day, his work was so neat and efficient that it would have been well worth it. I will continue to use this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. We were so delighted to have found John, the owner of John Farr Plumbing and Heating. There was a water leak from the ceiling due to boiler. It was almost 5pm and most of the plumbing company are already closed. But John not only answered my call but diagnosed and walked through very patiently over the leaks and boiler issues. He has not only fixed the problem but he also ensure the issue is resolved completely, He is by FARR the best plumber out there. Someone who is patient, kind and honest like a family friend who is expert at what he does. He does mostly violations removal but if his schedule allows, he will definitely provide his professional help. Don't hesitate to give him a call.

I needed a new water heater after sandy and Bill came over to install it. Professional, neat work and I've never had a problem with it since, he did the job right. Some plumbers in the past have done poor work that starts to leak months later, but I've never had s problem with bill and will continue to recommend him to friends and family

Samba was GREAT!! I needed a plumber to finish installing a bathroom faucet, check my toilet because of a leak and check on a minor gas leak and he got it all done in half a day.
Very professional and friendly and explained everything that he was going to do before he did the work. Given our circumstances he also was prepared with his mask on at all times.
Definitely will be my go to plumber for any plumbing needs and any referrals!

This company seemed like they were good and very pleasent on the phone but then after coming a day later than expected the plumber lied about the time he spent at my house and totally ripped me off. I should have made them write it down when arriving and leaving but instead I stupidly trusted them. I also don't believe that they didn't go for lunch for an hour while getting the part. I will never use them again!
