After being cancelled on by another plumbing company and unable to find an appointment, I was lucky to come across Manhattan Sewer Drain Inc! Manny returned my phone call within a few minutes, set up an appointment and came to my apartment within the half hour. He fixed my toilet problem and was very prompt and efficient. And the price was great! Thank you Manny!

Juan was very responsive and knows his stuff. I called him on a Saturday morning to ask for help replacing my kitchen faucet. He accommodated my schedule and came the same day. He was an hour early and texted me when he was en route.

Reasonable price for quality work! Would definitely recommend and call again for future jobs!

My only regret on posting this review is now I can't monopolize his services.

I cannot say enough positive things about Carmine and the service he provided. I called regarding my 20+ year old boiler and each step of the way he was beyond professional. He shows up exactly when he says he would, completes the installation, makes sure it's running exactly as it should be, and leaves your home looking exactly the way it did - except now with a brand new shiny boiler. In addition, unlike other contractors, Carmine did not (and still has not) pestered me about writing a yelp review for him.

My condo building used Clear Flow for a furnace/ water heater replacement. They were on time, worked all day- can't say enough good things!

DO NOT USE THEM! Just had these guys come to my house to fix a loud noise from the furnace in our tenants' unit. They put some wd-40 on the fan and the main noise went away. So, they took $75 cash, since it was an easy fix and not worth the entire $140 service call fee. Then within the hour, the sound came back. I called them and they came back to look at it. They took a look, then told the tenant that they couldn't fix it because they don't do hot air systems. They then left the house quicker than I could speak to them to discuss the money, or get a referral for someone who could actually fix our issue. So, now I totally feel ripped off and would never use them again and would never recommend them to anyone. Save yourself my annoyance and just try someone else!!

Joe is a stand-up guy. I truly appreciate him for what he did. I had an issue with a backed up sewer line. He sat on the phone listening to my issue and gave advice. He saved me from way overpaying with another company, and had his guys come the following day and charged me what he said should be the going rate for the service. Two other companies wanted to charge more than double and quadruple what Joe charged. His guys came early the next day as promised and solved the issue for me. I will be using Joe from now on. A man who is honest, keeps his word and charges an absolute fair price is someone who should get plenty of business. I hope my words here gets you even more business Joe. Thank you!

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. As an added bonus we needed new fixtures and John helped us find the best (and tasteful, fashionable desiegn) kind and stay within our budget. We won't hesitate to call Plumber NYC again.

I just had a great experience with an exceptional and reasonable plumber...Pete. I can't recommend him more. I had a clogged main and he said he'd be there in 30 minutes and he was right on time! My outdoor shower was broken and MyGuy pluming did an exceptional job from making the appt to finishing the job with top notch!!! When I called for an appt, they were booked completely but told me they will put me in for float ...Gina called back for opening in Friday afternoon!   When they came, they were so professional and explained the options I had.   I end up putting new outdoor shower and it exceed my expectations!  He redid my old pipe to new one under basement area before due to poor original set up before he put the new shower.  Ryan and his team were excellent and professional. I will definitely used this company !!! Ryan went above and beyond for my outdoor shower!   Thank you so much.

Martin Plumbing's Lindsey and Nu-quay rescued us when National Grid left us in the lurch in freezing weather.  Our story: A NYC mandated inspection found a small gas leak in our home.  National Grid SHUT OFF our gas on a freezing Tuesday morning.  National Grid's tech Justin broke the top cellar step when he came to SHUT OFF our gas (indefinitely!). His parting shot, You gotta get a Master Plumber. I called our long-time local plumber who could not come for 3 days. Another firm we'd used couldn't come until the following week. I called the other three well-known Park Slope plumbers. Only Martin Plumbing offered to come the following morning to assess the job.  Amazingly, Lindsey in Martin's office called back a couple of hours later:  Nu-quay (a Master) would stop in to inspect the problem now (Tuesday 5:30 PM).  He did and, as promised, called us at 8:25 AM the next morning with the estimate.  He could come on Thursday to fix it (the earliest of any plumber we contacted).  Still freezing outside.  Nu-quay arrived in the two-hour slot he'd given us for Thursday morning. In an hour it was fixed. He had the right pipe in his truck.
The next chapter was the agonizing task of getting National Grid to resume gas service.  I won't get into that here.

UPSHOT: we were not even a customer when I called Martin that cold, cold Tuesday.  Now we're a customer for life.  Thank you Lindsey & Nu-quay.  BTW, two other leading Park Slope plumbing companies never called me back. And, National Grid's tech left us with that dangerously missing top step (no apology, no offer of remedy.)

We used Angelo to remodel our first floor bathroom.  The work was adequate, with a few notable exceptions.  We had to disconnect our washing machine in the basement for him to work on the bathroom.  He cut the lines to the washing machine and never reconnected them.  I told him about this when I made the final payment, and he said he come back and fix it, but never did.  I had to buy the parts and do the work myself.
He connected a shower in the basement to be used while the bathroom was being remodeled.  He made me buy the pump to evac the water from the shower, without giving me a model number.  I bought a pump from the supplier he recommended, and he epic failed on the install.  He used the wrong pipe size, did not use a drainage slope, set 90 degree pipes when the instructions clearly state that 45 degrees is the max, and used about 5 clamps and adapters instead of the one provided.  The result is that the kitchen sink drained into the shower stall, and the pump would never shut off because it was overtaxed.  
Also, the bathroom he set up is leaking into the basement.

In short, I had to fix half the stuff that he set up.  Do NOT ever call this guy.  He has no clue what he is doing, and will not come back to fix his mistakes.

I don't write reviews that often but I felt like I had to do it for these guys.
A neighbor and I both had to get our smoke alarms up to code for a last minute inspection. Electrician Techs were recommended on our community FB page so we gave them a call in a panic over the wknd. Haris came on Monday to my neighbor's house and was diligent to figure out what needed to be done. (Lots of hidden fire alarms in a townhome that weren't hard wired) So by the time he got to our place, he knew exactly what to do. He was very courteous, professional, and easy to work with. Mo, the owner, was also very nice to work with as well. They didn't overcharge us which they probably could have tried. They were very reasonably priced.
(I also like the fact that they use an online portal to keep track of invoices, payments, etc.)
I will definitely be using them for any upcoming electrical needs.

Came on time, addressed the problems quickly and effectively, charged reasonably.   Could not be happier, and will definitely use them again
