No show twice. First time thought it was miscommunication. Second time, upon request, provided full details over SMS and got no response of confirmation and no one came.

When it comes to boilers, response time, and helping you out, Carmine is the best. My 25-year old boiler was suddenly not keeping sufficient water level, and requiring draining every night. I called Carmine and he responded right away. When I explained the problem he even arranged to move me up on his schedule that day. (I must have sounded pretty panicked). While he worked on the boiler he had me talk to him about how we'd had it serviced in the past, made some suggestions and the work was done all in less than two hours for a more than fair price. You can't beat Carmine's business or service.

I had a GREAT experience with these guys, working to clear a slow kitchen sink drain.  The problem was worse than they had originally thought, but they were good-natured and stuck it out to get the job done.  I didn't do any price-comparison, but if you are like me, you would gladly pay a little more for a good experience.

Ralph was great. Came over this morning to clear our terrace drains. Was very friendly, easy-going, efficient, well-priced. He brought a young colleague, who was very polite. They even swept up the deck after they were done. We will definitely use Barone Plumbing again as our go-to plumber.

I have used Joe several times in the Park Slope area for emergency/scheduled work. He is excellent, reasonably priced, trustworthy. I have rentals and am out of town often and know I can rely on Joe if and when a situation arises. RECOMMEND HIGHLY.

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! We have a 65-year-old family house on Barnegat Bay. The original water line with a (2 1/2) feet below grade shut-off valve is still there in a 16 square pit.

The original valve started leaking about 4 years ago and no plumber wanted to touch it because of the limited workspace and age.

I saw the 5-star ratings for My Guy Plumbing and asked them to look at it. The plumber, Mike K and his assistant Jake showed up on time (!!) and spent almost an hour inspecting the situation and coming up with a plan to break the 65 year old connections between the valve and water line and prepare an estimate.

After approving the quote, it took 2 more visits to finish the job based on tide levels (yes, the water box fills with water at high tide) and special tools needed. Along the way Mike K would call me to keep me informed.

I have never worked with a plumbing company which is so competent, easy-to-do-business with (thanks Jeana), professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to refer My Guy Plumbing and Mike K to friends and family.

We have used this service several times over the last couple of years and always been satisfied with the work done. The dispatcher who answered the phone was very helpful and accommodating. The last time we called to fix a clogged drain we realized at the last minute that we also needed a pop-up assembly installed. We called and were told that it wasn't a problem. They have always done a good job whenever we called them and the staff are very friendly.

I live in Bayonne and was in need of some light plumbing work.  Joe stopped by on a Saturday and did a fantastic job at a great price.  Would highly recommend Angelo for anyone in need of a small or large project.  Very professional.

I hate to leave a bad review but feel responsible to do so here, considering the safety issue here and the fact that we hired them based on their reviews. I originally posted a review after the poor service we received, but received a call afterwards and felt bad so I took it down. However, things we've gotten a bit more bad news. The electrician first came, took a look at our chandelier, and said that he could not put it up. After a few calls to other engineers, who told us you would just need to install a bracket to mount the chandelier, we got back to the electrician to tell him this. He came back, and put the chandelier up. Shortly after it came crashing down from the ceiling. He told us he would come back a third time to do it properly - but we essentially woke up a few days before his scheduled visit and decided that we wouldn't be able to sleep at night if they put it up, knowing what had happened before, so we cancelled. The update now is that another person (different company) came to take a look. We didn't use this guy before (we wanted to use ElectricianTechs since they had good reviews), but when he came this time he said that someone has damaged the wiring in the ceiling and it now needs to be replaced. Everyone we spoke to was nice, so I do really hate to say negative things, but I feel responsible to put this out there since we did hire this company based on the reviews alone. I wouldn't go as far as to say don't hire them but definitely think twice ahead of a complex job, since they do seem willing to take a bit more risk than I would like - would rather the job not get done than get done unsafely.

Worst service ever. They were scheduled to come at 3 they didn't show up until 4:15, no phone call, no apology. They couldn't fix the problem because they didn't have the right parts, the guy said he would come back the next day at whatever time was convenient for me, I said 4pm he said no problem and they never showed. I called and left a message, no one called back. The following afternoon my landlord was able to get ahold of them and they stated that they would never start a job at 4pm.  Needless to say we found new more reliable plumbers.
