Mike was super helpful, he even tried to help me trouble shoot things over the phone to get things done quicker and avoid me having to pay. He seems like a stand up guy who truly knows what he's talking about. Although I did not need to use his services in the end, he will be on the top of my list the next time I do.

Great group of guys. Not too familiar with electrical repair, but I was told from a friend to give these guys a call and sure it enough they were professional and quick to finish the job. They were thorough and I didn't feel like they were trying to make their job more complicated than what was needed to be done to get more money out of me. They fixed was was needed to be fixed and it was quickly done. Thanks again!

I requested a quote from Mickhael this morning to install three ceiling fans in my apartment. He called me within an hour and was at my apartment by mid-day. He was very courteous, polite, and professional, and did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. He even installed a different light switch for me for barely any additional cost. I'll happily call him again when I need more work done around the apartment.

I bought a mosaic lamp in Turkey last year and finally got around to trying to hang it. I read the reviews on here and thought NYC Electricians was the way to go. I wasted about a month trying to get these guys to come.  I couldn't get a hold of them via phone so I emailed them (as suggested on their site). I sent them pics of what I needed and asked if they could come out the next week to hang it.  A week goes by without hearing from them so I call them up again and finally reach someone. He says to send pics again and to let me know our availability.  An appointment is scheduled; my boyfriend takes off work to wait for them and they never show. He tries calling them and gets the old 'we're stuck in traffic' excuse.  He sets up another appt. (taking off work again).  same thing - they don't come.  I should have not scheduled again but I really wanted it hung.  The third appointment we start calling them at 8:30 am to make sure they're coming.  My guy is stuck in traffic. he'll be there in an hour. 90 mins goes by - nothing. Call back. he's on another job. I don't know when we can get out there today.  We eventually pled our case and got someone to show up, only to tell us that we needed a different lighting mount in order to hang it. THAT'S why i sent you pictures a month prior!  so you could see what you'd be dealing with.  It all worked out in our favor though. we ended up listening to a professional at Oggi Lighting in the Bowery who easily told my boyfriend how to install it.  Thanks for the abysmal customer service NYC Electricians - you saved us your overpriced $150-200 fee.

Very nice and responsive.  They came out to assess problem first and gave us options.  We went with a flat fee for fixing problem when timing wasn't sure.  Def recommend. Very nice to work with.

John picked up and installed two dimmer switches in my apartment according to my specifications.
He also had the foresight to identify my current lightbulbs as non-dimmable and brought me all new bulbs.
John is extremely efficient and knowledgeable, 100% would recommend.

Called several times, left messages telling them I needed work done. Never heard a peep. At least call people back to tell them you are too busy.

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Didn't come when scheduled or call to tell my he'd be late. I had to call him to find out where he was and he said he could come later. When he did come I had him change three lighting fixtures. He charged me $90 for each one. One of them didn't work but he charged me anyway and was going to leave me with no light there until I told him that I needed some sort of light in that room so he reattached a part from an old fixture there so I have a bulb and wires hanging out of the ceiling. Left parts of fixtures, plaster, and electrical parts everywhere. Got plaster all over my new couch. He said he'd come back and put up the new fixture when I get a replacement but I'm afraid he'll get plaster and parts everywhere so I'm going to have to go with someone else. What a waste of money.

CEL was a lifesaver.
We had 2 prior Electricians look/work on our home, and they left it worse for the wear. CEL was referred to us, and they came through spectacularly.
They replaced our panel ,added outlets and fixed our lights.
I will recommend  this company to anyone who needs Electrical help , when all others have failed

I have never written a review on Yelp.. However my family and I had such a wonderful, positive experience with Danik Electric that I felt this needed to be shared.

I had an electrical emergency late Thursday night when my tenants' lost electricity & their circuit box began to spark. I had heard great things from a co-worker about Yoni from Danik Electrical, so I took a chance and called Yoni with the hopes of getting an answer (it was past 8pm on a weeknight).
Not only did Yoni pickup immediately, he arrived at my home to fix the issue in under 20 minutes (quicker than promised)!

Yoni was extremely kind, well spoken, smart and very knowledgeable from the second I spoke to him. He was able to diagnose the issue quickly and even provided a temporary fix that evening so that my tenants wouldn't have to go without electricity until the next day.
He provided a fair quote and came back the next morning.
On Friday Yoni arrived on time to start the job. His work is immaculate! The water-damaged circuit breakers were replaced in both my boxes, the damaged panel box was removed & replaced, and Yoni even shifted the boxes to a different area, backed on wood, to help keep water out.
Yoni went above and beyond to complete the job and even sealed and waterproofed the cement around the boxes for safety. The job was complete within just a few hours!

Overall, Danik Electrical & Yoni deserve an A+. Top notch customer service, communication, knowledgeability. Fair prices & clean, thorough, efficient work.
I am SO impressed with the work that was done that I will never be calling another electrician again. Yoni is my go-to for sure. I recommend him highly.

I thought I had already left this review a long time ago but apparently did not, so here it is at last. Sorry for the delay Ilya.

The first floor unit of my building is a commercial unit. These bozos were doing some electrical work downstairs and oops they completely cut off the lines that power the thing (hot water heater? furnace? something) that heats the entire building.

Ilya rolled up. Saw the mess that was in the basement and was able to connect the heating system to the grid in the building again.

He somehow also casually managed to get the boiler going so I didn't have to  pay a plumber to do it, without me even asking him to.

Everyone needs a reliable roster of technicians, plumbers, auto repair guys etc.

I'm happy to have worked with these guys so I know anytime i have an electrical issue, I got a guy who can take care it.

I recently hired Don at DLP to install some direct lines and help with some trouble shooting around my house. It's an older home that was re-modeled, so it has some quirks to say the least. Don was able to figure out and fix some spotty work done by previous contractor. I found him to be very honest, fair, and pleasant. He certainly does quality work. I would recommend him to anyone and will have him back for additional work the house still needs.

G & R Electrical Contractors immediately impressed me as I called Mr. Ganesh that late evening for estimates to upgrade my electrical panel. After their reasonable estimate was provided. The electricians Omesh and AJ worked flawlessly together that early morning into the mid afternoon. They were highly motivated and worked in unison. Omesh answered every question I had. The electricians troubleshooted and provided vital insights regarding my home's electricity. I would high recommend G & R for any electrical task. Thank you, gentleman!

I had an emergency outage in an apartment. Electrify responded quickly; sent out a man to address the problem. He quickly reviewed what was causing the outage, was able to get things working again, and then proposed a longer term solution. The pricing was fair.

Katie is amazing! I called her to help with fixing a slide-out cabinet that had come off its track, and that was not staying shut properly, as well as replacing some floor trim that had been removed when I had a new dishwasher installed. As the scheduled date approached, I kept realizing all these other things I'd need fixed! Katie told me to make a list, and when she arrived, she knocked out every item on my list, even late-breaking ones! When she didn't think one solution would work to solve a problem, she came up with another. Katie clearly has tremendous expertise, but she also was great at thinking creatively, even for tasks I hadn't told her about in advance. She was totally transparent about pricing, which I appreciated, and still got the additional tasks done in the estimated amount of time. Beyond that, she is super friendly, and someone I felt so comfortable having in my home. I've recommended Katie to other friends who have all had as excellent of an experience as I did. This might sound weird but, next time something in my apartment goes awry, I'll feel relieved that I know I can call Katie!

I found Roman's company on Yelp and he lives up to his reviews! Reasonably priced and very easy to work with. He responded to my request via Yelp within hours, came to our office to give me a quote on the same day, and came back to install later that week (which was done in one day!). When we had an issue with the machine we were plugging into the dedicated outlet he installed, Roman came out free of charge to make sure that the outlet was OK (and it was!). Thanks Roman!

I can't tell you how many electricians I called during this time (good electricians with equally rave reviews on this app or recommended by family). I left many messages, sometimes multiple messages to the same place, without getting a return call.

I emailed Gladiator Electrics once and Mike responded back right away. He set realistic expectations for when they had their next availability, and was able to schedule us in. We had some minor things that we needed repaired in our home inspection along with light fixture installation. Mike sent a quote to us right away for each thing we needed. We even received a reminder email.

Eric came the scheduled day. At first I thought that maybe we would have to explain to Eric everything we sent to Mike (not that it would be a big deal). I was impressed that Eric was actually already thoroughly familiar with everything that we discussed with Mike via email, and even the things in our home inspection . He was well prepared and did a great job, and really educated us also as first time homeowners about things like our dimmers, recessed lighting, etc.

Mike runs his place like a true business. His team is  professional, responsive, transparent, and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone.
