I simply called to get a quote and have some questions answered and Mike was beyond helpful. He took the time to ask thorough questions about the problem and appliance and instead of sending someone out and charging me $250+ just for showing up, he was honest about not being able to do the work that was required and sent me over to a couple of others who could help me. I really appreciated his honesty.

Initial scope only included installation of a new light fixture. At the last minute, I thought it might be worth asking if he had extra USB outlets on hand that could be installed (time-permitting), so I asked, not really expecting much. He went above and beyond my expectations by visiting a nearby electrical store, picking up a couple outlets and staying longer to swap them in for me! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

We had a broken light in our bathroom that our landlord wasn't fixing and Richie responded very quickly. I really appreciated that in addition to fixing the light he was able to provide someone to fix and paint our ceiling, included in the quote. Highly recommend!

Exceptional service - he came on time and installed 3 lighting fixtures and 2 light switches in a hour! Will definitely use him again for future work.

I called NYC Electrician and left a message over the weekend and never received a call back. Three days later (today) I called NYC Electrician again and spoke with Anthony, who was easy to speak with and scheduled me a same-day midday appointment with Ralph who was already in the neighborhood. Ralph gave me a call 30 min in advance so I could meet him at the apt, and fixed both minor recessed light issues very quickly and with a smile (total time was approx 35min). He was very polite and friendly and diagnosed the issues (#1 - recessed light socket needed to be replaced and #2 - recessed light transformer needed to be replace) and proceeded to make the repairs.

My only gripes are that my initial call was never returned and the opacity of the service charges. The replacement parts I described cost less than $20 in total, but I paid more than 15 times that. But at least he got it done and quickly.

I reached out regarding a light switch issue and got a response immediately. Within an hour, the electrician was here. His rate was fair and he did a great job fixing the issue. Highly recommended.

Can't say enough. Came in to install kitchen cabinet lights and went through a few diff. Options on how to get it done. We decided on a way I was comfortable with. Would call on again. On time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable.

Absolutely love the work that Erick and his team at Eco Electrician did on my bathroom fan. This fan used to have to be plugged into an outlet to use like a dive-bar. It was annoying and very frat house-y while Erick was doing another job for me, I ran this by him and he blew me away the results from today's install. Crispy clean work, as usual from Erick. Super amazing with response and stellar craftsmanship! Check out my other reviews for Erick and his team, they've done a lot of great work at my house.

My building super has anger issues and threatened to cancel electrician he scheduled when I asked why he never communicates with us. Super told me to find my own electrician and hung up so I asked for a quote from Danik and was contacted within a couple minutes. The electrician asked me to send him photos on the phone so that he could maybe walk me through the issue without coming out (to save service cost). While I was talking to him, the electrician that my super supposedly cancelled showed up and I had to tell Danik that their services were no longer needed and they were completely nice and professional about it. I will definitely be using them for anything in the future to avoid the headache that is my super.

I've been burned so many times in the past by unscrupulous tradespeople that I am understandably a little cynical these days. These guys just restored my faith in tradesmankind.

Ilya and Michael, professionally installed a ceiling fan in our very high ceiling loft quickly, with no fuss and talk about competitive prices. The other yokels I called must be off their nana asking the astronomical prices they quoted. They listened and offered several alternatives to keep it within my budget. They were really quick to respond to calls and texts. Completely happy with the work these courteous, professional guys did and would use them again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Don came this past Sunday to fix a burnt outlet in our home. After having the fire department here the night before, and feeling like we narrowly avoided a house fire, we were anxious to have this fixed quickly. Don was the only electrician who returned our call (we know most companies are closed on Sundays but at least call back) and he called back quickly. He also said he was coming over and was here in just a few minutes! Don fixed the outlet super quick and looked through the other rooms and checked our circuit box in the basement. He was pleasant and kind and gave us peace of mind that the house was safe. Don's price was reasonable & we would definitely use him again. Highly recommend!!

Ajay from G & R completed a job for me yesterday. He was professional and

accommodating. I had a new dishwasher installed that was sticking out

considerably due to the wiring behind it. He relocated the electrical box

and wiring.  I am completely pleased with the job that was done.

Would definitely use them again.

I hired Avi/Electrific to sort out two malfunctioning ceiling fans. He was extremely good at scheduling, communicating, and the task. It was diagnosed and fixed quickly. I felt 100% comfortable with him in my home--he showed care in ensuring there was no damage to furniture that was near the work area and was one of the most pleasant people I've hired in recent memory. We had time during his visit to tackle a pendant fixture replacement and that was hung perfectly. I recommend him 100% and I'm not someone who recommends everyone I hire. Great work; thanks!

Katie was responsive, professional, and, above all, extremely handy. I hired her to fix a plaster wall and reinstall shelves after the last guy I hired made an absolute mess of it. As soon as she assessed the damage and explained how she would go about fixing it, I knew I was in good hands. And sure enough, it looks like new again. So glad I found Katie! I would 100% hire her again and you should, too.

I tried to hold my opinion until I make sure it's not my fault. After all, I see all these 5 stars review and I wonder if it's me just overreacting.  However, I did pay $200 for nothing, so I thought I should say something.

Although not on time, running more than an hour late without informing me, Serafin was a friendly person. But before his visit, 7 out of the 10 kitchen lights worked, but when he left, none of the lights worked. The kitchen was also left as a huge mess that I spent a long time to clean up.

When I was charged $200 for making my apartment situation worse, I was shocked, but I still paid because I respect people taking their time helping, although my time was obviously not being respected.

We hired Gladiator Electric based upon wonderful web reviews.  These reviews were spot on.  Set up an appointment with Mike from Gladiator.  Received confirmation texts prior to and the morning of to keep us informed. They showed up promptly (early actually).  We had a list of items discussed prior to the call and some add-ons during the day of.  The hourly rate + materials was very reasonable. The Techs, Eric and Dylan, were extremely courteous and professional.  And nice peeps to boot!  The job tasks included Ceiling fixtures (remove/replace fans/lights), moving wall outlets, installing/pairing smart switches and outdoor GFCI outlets.  All done by 3 pm!  My wife and I were extremely pleased with every aspect of the job.  We already have some new tasks lined up for a second job with them.  i highly recommend !
