I was very favorably impressed with Mike Hitchingham. For starters, he actually responded to my request a quote inquiry on Yelp within a day! I responded to his message by calling him, and described the problem over the phone.  He asked some clarifying questions, and agreed that I was probably right (I suspected a 110V outlet was receiving 220V power). There were only 6 YELP reviews and I generally like to see more reviews before selecting a vendor, but his courteous, open manner and willingness to take a little time on the phone convinced me that he was the right guy to look at this. He stopped by within a day or two when he was on the UWS to check it out. He confirmed the problem in a brief visit, and said he'd return on Sunday to fix the problem. Then he actually returned on Sunday, and fixed the problem! His price was fair, and I was happy to pay his invoice. I've given his name and number to the guy across the hall, and to a friend who lives 6 blocks away. I found him to be straightforward, direct, honest, and willing to answer questions and educate me. He kept in touch re scheduling, and was responsive. I'd hire Mike again in a second!

Rich and his staff are incredibly professional, very reasonably priced and absolutely pleasant to work with. He came out within two hours to fix a very dangerous problem welsomething had been wired wrong and my lights have not given me a problem since! I have saved his number for Future jobs should I need anything done here, Rich will be the only one I call.

This is an update that I wanted to add today. As I said I would be using Rich for future jobs. I have done so. The house that I was managing was in a state of disrepair due to the original owners neglect. The projects I had to have this man do were numerous and I can honestly say he did the whole thing for under five grand! We're talking re-wiring boxes, installing ceiling fans, the whole works! anything you can think of that went wrong would go wrong in this house, and Rich and his staff (in particular Devon) did a wonderful job repairing it all for a fantastic budget. Always look at these guys first they are the real deal!

We needed a new breaker box, as ours was falling apart. CS came by to give me a quote and checked out the electrical in the whole apartment. I thought I might have to rewire the whole place, but they told me that after they swapped out the box that it would probably fix our issues. They steered me away of spending money I didn't need to spend, when they could have easily told me I needed to do more work. They came in, put in the new box, left the apartment cleaner than it was, and were super nice the whole time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Absolutely love the work that Erick and his team at Eco Electrician did on my bathroom fan. This fan used to have to be plugged into an outlet to use like a dive-bar. It was annoying and very frat house-y while Erick was doing another job for me, I ran this by him and he blew me away the results from today's install. Crispy clean work, as usual from Erick. Super amazing with response and stellar craftsmanship! Check out my other reviews for Erick and his team, they've done a lot of great work at my house.

The power to half my house suddenly went out and I had no idea what was going on. I went to yelp and submitted some estimate requests based on the information I had. Danik not only came right away(here in 15 minutes!), but also really checked out the problem before giving me a price on the fix. The guy who came did things I didn't even think were possible - unscrewed and opened a fuse box that had several layers of paint over it without damaging the wall at all - even got a light that hasn't worked in 4 years working! He tested my wiring, found the wire causing the problem, and promptly fixed it. He even tidied up my fuse box a bit so everything works better now overall. It was stress free and fast - another thing I didn't think was possible with electrical work. I'm happy and would definitely use them again.

Responsive and one time. Brought all the tools and pre-purchased supplies. we had a big project around and Ilya worked very unusual hours for me: Between 5 and 8 pm on Friday and 7:30 pm until 10 pm on Monday.

Don and Pat were great. They arrived early and worked quickly (but carefully) to locate the short circuit in our 100 year old walls. We look forward to working with them again.

Ganesh came almost instantly and fixed a broken light switch in my bathroom.  He was very efficient, knowledgeable and professional.  He fixed the broken light in about 20 minutes.  This is THE BEST electrician that I've seen.  I would definitely recommend this business.

After an initial problem involving miscommunication on both sides, I ended up contracting with this company. I found their customer service and quality of work to be excellent. Although this was a relatively small job, it was handled with care and professionalism. My husband and I were very pleased with the service.

Katie is the best! After 3 horrible experiences with different handymen in Brooklyn (light fixture dropped and smashed mid-install, yelled at for having trouble hearing him on the phone, etc.) a friend recommended Katie and I'll be using her services forever. She's extremely knowledgeable and everything we've had her install or fix is done skillfully--but she's always willing to answer questions, talk through her work, etc as well. Thanks Katie!

I enthusiastically recommend Cooper Electrical Services! They are very professional, courteous, and knowledgable. The best part is they're very reasonably priced and make no attempt to gouge you for more than their initial quote. I'm so glad I called Cooper Electrical Services when several lights in my apartment went out because of a wiring issue. They were very flexible and understanding about working around my schedule when I had to change the time of our appointment. On the day of the appointment, they sent a very competent electrician named Victor. He was very friendly, hard-working and persistent about figuring out the problem. I had to run back to work, but Victor stayed and determined the larger electrical problem. Then, best of all, Cooper Electrical Services only charged me for the initial consultation (even though Victor stayed for over 3 hours!). I was extremely happy with the service and would definitely use them as my go-to electrician in the future. I highly recommend Cooper Electrical Services without any reservations.

HELP WHEN I NEEDED IT!

When my old service panel died in the middle of the night, I called Gladiator Electric at 1:40am and I left a message.
Gladiator Electric called me back within five minutes!

They changed their schedule and arrived at my home at 7:30am that same morning.

Within 12 hours of my late night phone call, they had:

- obtained a work permit from my town
- disconnected and removed the old panel
- relocated, installed and reconnected the new panel
- tested the system under load and cleaned up after the job

All done courteously and at a very reasonable price.
Highly recommended, will use them in the future!
