HISTORY

Years ago Joseph H. Ciampa III decided to follow his father's, who is a Master Plumber, footsteps and enrolled himself in a Vocational High School. Soon after graduation Joe got his license and began his career. After spending many years in the plumbing and heating service world, Joe started developing a plumbing company that was more then just a leaking pipe repair company, but a full range service company that primarily focuses on the residential market of Greater Boston area.Advantage III Plumbing and Heating is family-owned and operated company.
Since opening, we've treated every customer like they were a part of our family. Other companies may offer similar services, but our services come with a personal touch.

These guys were the best. They installed a new heating system in my 150 year old home. They worked quickly and cleanly and explained everything they were doing. Very well priced and showed up nice and early. I would highly recommend them.

They did nice work on a plumbing problem that we were having. My husband does his best to fix what he can but this problem was bigger than he could manage. So, we called Joe. He was efficient, good value for the money, friendly, and professional.

installed 2 gas boilers in my rental building. great work . great service. does exactly what the contract said he would do. if you have any problems with the installation he comes right back and fixes it. best of all his crew cleans up afterwards.

Needed a new washing machine leak detector a few months ago, and I was getting the runaround from other vendors who didn't want to do the job. Advantage was very responsive from my initial call and they were prompt with their service. Would definitely use them again.

Called to ask for help on routine maintenance on a steam heating system. The advice we got was that we needed to change the entire system in the entire house. The only work done was to dust off some electronics. And charged 200$ for this. I really wouldn't trust them with anything after this.

We were introduced to Joe & his team by our builder. They did a great job finishing up some work the original plumber missed. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and knew what they were doing.

Nice guys. Great communication. They come when they say they will, and are great about explaining their recommendations. I've never once felt like I'm getting the run-around (which I can't say about the plumbers I've used previously). It's nice to not have to dread calling the plumber!

I thought these guys were great in the work they did. They came right away, found and replaced multiple frozen pipes and got the heating system back up and running. They rearranged another appointment and reassured me that they would stay until the problem was addressed, which was really important on that cold winter day. They answered all of my many questions and had to be persistent and keep working the problem to find where the last frozen spot in the pipes was. Their rates were $140/hr for 2 people (plumber and assistant plumber) - not sure how that compares with other plumbers, but wanted to pass that along.

Joe and his team walked me through every step of my bathroom remodel and I'm thrilled with the outcome.
I had used them for smaller repair jobs over the years and was happy to hear they could accommodate the bathroom renovation in a timely manner.

Had them come in to do an annual inspection on the heating system. While he was here, I asked him to take a look at a few other small issues. He took the time to explain everything, and gave me what felt like an honest opinion. Professional, and not just drumming up business for the company. Will do business with them again.

These guys are the best! Particularly fantastic accessing systems in tight squeeze situations. So reliable, highly competent, flexible, high value service. Text them for help, and they are there within 24 hrs - came today - on a Sunday of Christmas weekend to help us with a hearing problem. I would never call anyone else.

We had a frozen and burst pipe yesterday in this cold and I got Joe's number from a friend of a family friend. He and his partner Nick were fast, very friendly and didn't want to leave until he took a look at the whole system and made sure we were good.

He ended up giving us a brief overview on our terribly done pipes, guessed (correctly!) that there was another freeze in the heating pipes (no heat on one entire side of the house) and stayed just long enough to show us how to thaw the system.

Just before he left, we did thaw it and another pipe burst in our radiator. He and Nick got right to it and saved us a ton of time, money and sanity.

I couldn't be more pleased or impressed with these guys. Very professional, but friendly, informative, and - above all - fair. When you call a plumber in a panic, you think that you're going to get taken to the cleaner's and that that's just how it is, but I feel like Joe really did us right and I'll absolutely be calling him come springtime to fix my piping layout permanently.
