Streeter Plumbing & Heating

I called Streeter plumbing to get an estimate on a plumbing job at my condo. I made an appointment for the following Thursday and the secretary gave me a window from 10am-12p. The day of the appt I called to confirm the appt and ensure they would call me with a 10-15min warning so that I could meet them at the condo.  By 12:05 they still had not showed up. I called and spoke to the secretary who said the plumber must have gotten held up at a previous job, but he still planned on coming. I asked her when that would be and she put me on hold, then came back and said he would be there in 10-15min. I waited another 30min before giving up and leaving. The plumber called me 10min later (45min after the 2hour window had expired) to tell me he was on his way. I told him i had already left and he said, ok and hung up.

Apparently they did not need my business and do not care if they keep you waiting on them for over 2 1/2 hours. Neither the plumber, nor the secretary every apologized for them not being there on time.

I have no idea if they are competent plumbers, but their customer service is certainly lacking.

The receptionist was very rude and short with me. I called because i had water coming through the kitchen ceiling. Thwy came here and had my brother cut the ceiling in two spots only to find no pipes above the lotchen. They charged me 250. For exploratory work that my brother did. They didnt even ask what was above the kitchen. The problem was a leaky washer machine. So basically they wanted 250. To do nothing

I am going to be short, & to the point:
My experience with this business has been they are overpriced, unreliable, in adequate, & poor customer service.

Streeter Plumbing is fabulous. My hot water heater broke and they immediately came to my rescue. Their plumbers are top notch and the nice folks who handle the calls and schedule the appointments are kind and patient.  I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I should have paid attention to the reviews. After waiting three days until an appointment, the plumber was in and out of here in less than five minutes. His reason? To determine the cause of our suspected leak, he'd have to cut open the stained ceiling below, and we don't do that. He said to call again after we cut a hole ourselves. Isn't that part of a plumber's job?

They came and replaced my hot water heater with a Top brand and was very satisfied with the service...They came installed and got it going..came to the RESCUE...

I've been very happy with Streeter. They've been prompt, flexible, and charged me far less for a job than our previous plumber quoted.

Just recently, Streeter came out to install a new water heater on same day and on another occasion to hook up my new stove. Both were uneventful!

I just moved to the neighborhood and had to call Streeter multiple times and set up multiple appointments. The receptionist was always very friendly and helpful for my situation. Both appointments were prompt and done professionally. Not too pricey either. I would recommend.

I had a problem with heat in my building and the owner and his technician visited the property in the middle of the weeks Nor'easter.  They identified the problem, ordered the parts and got the heat back on within 24 hours.  Great service!  Thank you.
