You cannot do any better if you're looking for a plumber around Waltham. He charges fair prices, is very clear about options you may have, is responsive when you call or text with a question, and is respectful of your property when working and cleaning up.

Biggest scammers. I was told about an initial amount that the work would require. A guy comes, spends around 10 minutes, changes one little valve and leaves without giving me an invoice. I find out later that I was charged 10x that amount without anybody communicating anything to me. They also claim that the guy spent 2 hours !!! And they refuse to give me my money back ! I will never use them again.

I purchased a real fixer-upper - diamond in the rough - at the end of January 2020. Suffice to say I was a bit overwhelmed with everything that had to fix. But Darren and his team were there to work with me and talk me through the fixes that I knew about and the ones we found along the way.

I cannot say enough how much they really made a difference. From the smallest fix to the biggest projects, they were honest, conscientious and straight forward with what they needed to do and what the impact would be. We successfully fixed all of the plumbing issues and helped turn my house into a home - with working water and gas :)

With any project, there were additional needs and things that we discovered/broke along the way. The team was very accommodating and again very exemplary in their conduct and very resilient in their pricing for services and hardware needed. Additionally, they were very proactive in searching for a solution in extreme cases, in one example they found gas lights that needed to be disabled so they replaced the gas lines directly to the ranges to prevent a larger issue down the road - keeping me informed every step of the way.

Impressive Plumbing is one of the few businesses that are 1:1 with their namesake, everything they do is impressive both in service and conduct. They will truly care about your needs, be responsive if something breaks, and will try to find the best possible solution. I would work with them again in a heart beat.

I had a leak in the my bathtub area and Matt Evan came to the rescue. Very responsive on yelp and coordinate time for the appointment. Pricing was talked about in advance, very honest, and fair. I highly recommend.

John Macone installed my gas furnace and hot water heater in 1990. I've hired him ever since for projects large and small, including two commodes and a tricky leaky pipe between floors. Call John and he'll call back. On a recent Saturday my furnace conked out on a cold day, leaving my home without heat or hot water. I called John on his emergency line. He was involved in a work project most of the day but promised to come afterward, which he did, at dusk. He dove right into the guts of the furnace he had installed some 27 years before -- and found the problem -- two burnt-out gismos. He didn't need it, but I held a flashlight for him and brought a cushion for his knees. In less than a half-hour the furnace was back on and radiators warming up. It was a good feeling. I can't compare his fees because he's the only plumber I've used -- or wanted to hire. But when someone fixes the problem each time, he's worth extra in my opinion. Powderhouse's high-quality work will live on, as John's two sons are now in the business.

While I live in Brockton Massachusetts my elderly mother-in-law in Dorchester desperately needed a plumber to fix a broken drain pipe and a clog problem in her home . I wish I could give this company more than five (5)  since my mother in-law  could not have been more happy and pleased with the service provided by Johnson Brothers Plumbing & Drain. She has found the only plumber she will call from this point on and her son in-law, would like to personally thank you. She could not say enough good things about how the young man named Jay had worked so hard to make her happy. This experience restored her faith in how good people can be. Made an apt with them. After staying home from work that day just to be available during the middle of the day they told me they took me off the list because I did not call them back when there was no agreement that I would do so. Cut the BS Julia- you received a call you could make more money with and then screwed me.  Thanks A lot for wasting my day!

Another great experience with Rizzo Plumbing & Hearing.  I purchased a new dishwasher recently, they fit me in their schedule and installed, took away the old one, and cleaned up in just over an hour. Mike was very personable and it was nice that they scheduled him because he had already been at my house previous.  Thanks Judy & John @ Rizzo Plumbing & Heating.  Great Job Again!!

All around excellent. What you hope to find in a plumber and rarely do. Communicative, professional, prompt, efficient, and fair. Really can't say enough good things about Akian, and Steve in particular. Even his recommendation for a high efficiency system technician was excellent.

Contacted Belli to look at a leaking toilet at my mom's house. They were very responsive, and did a great job for a reasonable price.  Couldn't be more pleased with their service. Highly recommended!

Our Rheem Water Tank, bought in November 2018, had an electrical shortage rendering the HW Tank non-functional.  We called our warranty from Home Depot and was referred to Asurion who gave us a list of Authorized service centers to assist us with our water heater.  We called about 10 places and all said that they were either short staffed or our town was out of the service area (Yet Rheem had them listed on their list.) - We finally called Green Team Drains and Dwayne Frederick who was prompt to return our call and literally came same day to make the assessment and amazingly within 30 minutes had a replacement water heater and ready to do the repair.  This was amazing!

Dwayne was extremely professional, ensured our floor and other areas were protected and knew what he was doing!  In fact, he improved the connections that we had from the main water line to the new water heater.  He was up front on his service call fees and provided all the necessary receipts for us to file out claim.  He was pleasant to talk with and accomplished the total repaid within 2 hours (from assessment to full installation).  

I would highly recommend Dwayne and Green Team Drains for being responsive (not excuse givers by the other 10 recommended Rheem contractors), professional, took care of everything (I keep records on everything and had all my paperwork in hand to assist in the process), left me documentation to file my claim, hauled away all materials and cleaned up the area he worked on.  

If you want great work, a person who likes what he is doing (and is good at it) and took the worry out of a challenging issue - Dwayne and Green Team Drains is your company.  Thank you Dwayne!  Won't hesitate to contact you in the future - outstanding service.

I HAD used Greg Dacey as my only plumber for the past 8 years, as well as recommending him to friends and colleagues. He was always reasonably priced and fairly reliable. Last month he installed a new faucet for us and 'fixed' a toilet. When he left the toilet was not flushing properly for weeks. I called him and he never called me back. Finally it stopped working. I called him yet again. No response. Eventually I had to pay someone $150 to basically jiggle something inside for me and tell me the last guy put it in wrong.

As far as the kitchen faucet - after 2 weeks one day the water just became *freezing* cold. NO warm/hot at all. I have called and texted at this point, no lie, probably 25 times. He completely blew us off at least twice when we raced home and waited for hours for him and he never showed up or called, in addition to his 'associate' blowing us off in the same manner as well. Just waited at the designated time and never showed. No text. No call. Nothing. We have had only FREEZING cold water in the kitchen for weeks - to the point I have had to bring all dishes (pots and pans) I need to hand wash to my neighbors because my fingers are frozen after 1 minute - and obviously cold water doesn't get any grease off. Just a 'little' bit of an inconvenience - especially with a baby at home. I have never been so disgusted with the behavior of a 'professional' in my life - especially one that I have given my business to exclusively over the years. Disgusting.

As well, there is a suspiciously vague review from a 'Kris L.' on this site that states, '... I have no idea why that woman posted that obnoxious review.  I would definite use him again for plumbing work. My guess is maybe she's got a personal vendetta.  I would encourage anyone considering him for a job ignore such juvenile personal attacks.'
Ummm... obnoxious? Yes - the details are completely obnoxious, I agree!
And a personal vendetta? uh - it's called an honest review of exactly what happened. I would actually encourage anyone considering him for a job to ignore fake reviews that were probably written by him and trust mine, as it's 100% truthful and I have absolutely no reason to write anything else. As stated, I had used him exclusively a number of times and would have been happy to give him my business for the rest of my life (and believe me - I tried!).

We couldn't ask for a better company to take care of all of our plumbing needs. James and Josh came to install a simple water spigot in our back yard and we were so pleased with the work and the price, we ended up converting our old oil heating system to a new gas system. All of the employees of PHD are great!! Specifically Tina in the office and of course James and Josh. My husband and I have experienced some really horrible contractors who have tried to overcharge for simple jobs. Not these guys, the prices are fair and if there's any unforeseen issues they do their very best to work it out so everyone is happy. I can't say enough good things about this company. We will never use anyone else for our plumbing or heating needs. I recommend that anyone reading this to give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

I love these guys.  As a single mother with not a lot of house repair talent, trusting vendors is really important to me.  Jack and Francis are trustworthy, kind, friendly and know what they are doing.    And their bills have always been reasonable.  Only problem is that they ares so good, they stay very  busy!

Only completed half the job of replacing a water heater. When the job became difficult (removing the old water heater) they became non-responsive to our phone calls. When we did finally get in touch with them, they demanded an upcharge for something they were well aware of when the job started - the water heater was located in a business we didn't own which had operating hours - the job took longer than those operating hours so the business told them to return. Eventually, the team became downright rude and told us they wouldn't complete the job or refund us our money.

Had a drip from a bathroom faucet. TBROS came four times, ordered the wrong part, charged more than $350, and never fixed the drip.
