I know a little bit about piping and a lot about quality work. Chenette came and did a high quality. I had a new gas line and meter installed by the gas company. I needed a plumber to run a line from the new meter into the house and connect to the existing piping.
I could tell that there was an easy way and a more complex way to do this.
Everyone who gave an estimate wanted to do it the easy way, including chenette.
When I went downstairs to see the completed job I surprised to see that Don had done the job the more complex way which involved a lot more cutting and a lot more time but which looks a lot cleaner and eliminates a lot of unnecessary pipe.  
Don - I really appreciate you going the extra mile on this job. Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed.

A friend asked chenette plumbing to come to look at shower turn on that was sticking.

Called twice no return calls. On the day I called someone else.

Then they showed up with a call.
They replaced parts.

Then charged 600.00
For services without any estimate or discussion.

I highly do not recommend. The business was owned by his dad. The father was better.

Measure twice cut once!  This company is terrible.  Hired them to put in a new garbage disposal. I was quoted a price of approx $439 to put in a new disposal.  The service person removed the old garbage disposal then told me the new one wouldn't fit in the sink I have.  He never measured the area to make sure the new disposal would fit.  Because of this he realized after removal of the old disposal, the new disposal wouldn't fit leaving me with a second hole in my sink that he had to connect to the drain.  As a result of his mistake I was left with no garbage disposal, two drain strainers and a bill for $602.14.  Be very careful.  Not sure why he didn't put the old disposal back  They certainly know how to bill.

Rude as f. Under stressful situations, this is my first time reaching out for heating issues ever. This dude yelled at me, bad customer service got mad when I didn't use them. Was considering saving this business number for future use but no thanks, before I could finish talking he yelled at me. Would rather pay more to go with someone else. Sorry it didn't work out, but no reason to be rude, especially to first time customers. I don't play games either.

I've had to call Chenette last minute twice in the last week. The first to was help install my gas dryer (when the company I ordered it from refused to do the install) and the second when my gas furnace stopped working unexpectedly. Chenette came to the rescue within a couple of hours after my call, despite having full schedules. The guys they sent over were friendly and professional, providing quick fixes and fair pricing. Even paying is easy, they'll send returning customers a bill right to your house! Chenette always makes time for their customers, I'll definitely be using Chenette in the future and highly recommend!

These guys were great. I have a high efficiency heating system that had a strange issue. It kept shutting off every couple days and I couldn't pinpoint why. I had worked with another membership plumping service I belong to that couldn't find the issue either. Chenette was on the phone with the manufacturers technical support for over an hour to locate the issue. I needed a new Motherboard and a Gas & Control valve covered under warranty. The parts were delivered to them and they were very flexible with scheduling the install. The two plumbers Matt and Terry that came by were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone.

Thanksgiving night (last night) our furnace blew.  We live right on the ocean.  The wind was wailing, and it was a record cold night.  We called Chenette, used historically by our landlord, and they came out within a half hour. Phil from Chenette came to our rescue and spent hours out on our freezing cold porch until he got the heat going enough for myself, my 6 year old daughter, and my 68 year old dad not to have to leave the house for the night.  This morning he was back bright and early to finish the job, and everything is back up and running again.  I highly recommend Chenette.  Phil was competent and committed, and we couldn't appreciate him more for coming out on a freezing cold Thanksgiving night.  I will be sure to recommend Chenette to everyone I know who needs heating/plumbing services.

I've used these folks for several years and they are very professional, prompt and do good work. They aren't cheap but they aren't expensive either and are worth every penny they charge.

Contacted them through the form they provide on their web site on March 28 for a quote. Got no response. Later realized they state the form is only for comments, so a few days later after still not hearing back from them I used the form again to complain that no one contacted me. That also got no response. Doesn't seem to matter what you use the form for, you're not going to get a response. Cannot comment on their plumbing skills but their web site form gets one star.

I have used this company for the past 4-5 years and have always been very satisfied with the company from the time I placed the call to when I received the bill.  The plumbers are courteous and knowledgeable.   People and reviews can have one bad experience, I have had many years of consistent quality service.  

I once used a lower cost plumber who did poor quality work and was redone by Chenette.  I have since been a loyal customer and never look for a better company or price.

The cheap man spends the most in the long run.  

Once you find a quality company with excellent customer satisfaction and service why change.

this company expects you to wait in a 4 hour window and not show up, no phone call no show. when they do show up the work quailty is horrible. Jack will tell you don't need a permit and the work is horrible

I would not use this company.  I was given a 4 hour time window (8:00am - 12:00pm) and they had not shown up or called by 12:30.  When I finally got a return call at 1:30pm, they said they would be there within the hour.  At 2:45pm, I cancelled the call.  The plumber called back to find out why I had cancelled, and their response was Whatever.  Terrible customer service.  I know nothing about their plumbing skills because they never did the work.

Called them tear out a pipe and remove a radiator which was OK. The guy suggested I replace a thermo coupler on my furnace (that was working fine) and I did so. They require payment on the spot. This added $200 and my heat hasn't worked since. I tried to get them to replace the bad coupler but they rescheduled 1, cancelled another and refused to return my calls depite daily promises they would.  Had someone else do it for half the cost.  Heres the best part, when I went to their office with my receipt to demand a partial refund , Paul Chenette called the Police (who must be laughing I get the feeling not the first time). I filed in small claims court. What a headache and horror story. No customer service at all and just a mean spirited guy that doesn't back his shoddy work.

I used this company based on a friends recommendation and I'm glad I did.  Chenette installed a new kitchen faucet with sprayer today and fixed a leaky bathroom faucet.  The time for both jobs was 1 hour and I was was very pleased with the service.  Lowes/Home depot charges $155 just to install the faucet.  The price of Chenette was much cheaper.  Tony (the plumber) was prompt, friendly and courteous.  They gave us a 4 hour time window 8am - 12pm and he showed up at 8.15am.  I would definitely used them again for future plumbing needs.

What customer service?  They suck.  Was a faithful customer for years never again.   Waited and waited for them to show up. I to was given a time window when they were suppose to come.  Had to call a couple of times to find out where they were.  That should have been a sign, and I should of cancelled. They installed a defective water heater and it was nothing but a hassle to get it removed.  Placed a  call to Jack and never received a return call.  The plumber was so rude and he will remained nameless but he should be ashamed of his people skills because he has none.  Bottom line, they would not replace it with another water heater - makes no sense.  Absolutely crazy.   I would never recommend them to anyone. I am positive the defective water heater is now in someone else's home.
