We had a difficult water drainage problem in a densely-packed neighborhood. From the first call, Kevin was responsive, fast, and easily managed coordination with city inspectors. Our project lasted 5 days with rain delay, heavy-equipment rentals and neighborhood impact, all of it handled smoothly and politely by Kevin and his crew. When the project was complete, Kevin offered to return as needed to check on materials. I've worked with many contractors and would highly recommend Aruda Construction.
Kevin and his team are great. The water line to my house was leaking, and after shutting off my water the town gave me a long list of contractors I could contact. I called Kevin based on the other Yelp reviews. He immediately returned my call and was over at my house in an hour to give me an estimate. Kevin took the time to explain the process, and acknowledged my sense of urgency in fixing the leak promptly. After waiting a full day for another contractor to return with a higher quote, I immediately hired Kevin. We were delayed waiting for the town permit to be approved, but as soon as it was Kevin and his guys were over within hours. His team was polite and professional, and they completed the job that day, at the cost quoted. The entire experience was made significantly easier by his professionalism and friendly demeanor. I highly recommend K.B. Aruda.

KB Aruda cleared snow for our business during Storm Nemo. We were astonished at the diligence, professionalism and follow-thru. They worked through the storm (non-stop for 36 hours now) and kept us up and running. Our lot is immaculate and they were kind and thoughtful to our residential neighbors: piling snow out of the way, considerate of cars and pedestrians and even helping out a few in need. Kevin and Katje, and the rest of you, you are amazing.
We had a broken pipe leading from our house to the main sewer line. KB Aruda had the lowest estimate and the fastest and most consistent response time. Was very communicative through the whole process, did a great job keeping us updated, and finished in a timely fashion and at the cost originally quoted. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely SATISFIED with the exemplary service, repair and good old fashioned hard work performed by a team of professionals at a fair and competitive price. From the moment I met Kevin (owner who evaluated our sewer) we knew if this individual reflected the company ethic with non pushy honest and personable service this was the company we wanted. We had a back up in the house due to a house trap and a broken pipe. The team showed up on day one and we could not believe the care and SPEED and PROFESSIOALISM these individuals showed in performing an entire sewer pipe replacement. We wanted to replace the water main pipe into our house. Kevin was prompt and responsive in providing an estimate as well as during the entire rest of the process -- contract signing, work execution, follow-up paperwork. The crew came on the agreed-upon day and executed the job quickly and as planned. I would highly recommend Aruda and the work they do.
I worked with Kevin on a water line replacement in a town where the local gov't is notoriously difficult to deal with. He handled everything perfectly and the job could not have gone better. He and his crew are absolute professionals and delivered exactly as promised at a competitive price. I highly recommend him for any sitework in the area.
Main sewer line failure due to a city tree. Kevin was there within an hour of the initial call. He had a very reasonable estimate. He pulled all the permits with the city that day. Was back the next day on schedule. Excavated, repaired, buttoned up within nine hours. Perfectly executed. Unconditional recommendation.

We had a nightmare situation with the sewer line from our house to the street failing causing sewage backing up into our basement! After getting screwed over by a plumbing company, we called Kevin as one of our possible contractors. Before even we committed to him as our contractor Kevin was wiling to step in and help us. We were pumping sewage water out of our basement on a nightly basis. It is clear that Kevin wants to do the right thing...his work being diligent and conscientious. Kevin put a temporary fix in place before the actual work could begin to alleviate our emergency. He went above and beyond and made bearable a nightmare situation. Kevin was at our house checking in on the situation so many times before his actual paid work even began. If you are looking for a contractor look no further. I cannot recommend KB Aruda enough.
We had a similar (although not quite as severe) situation to the one described by Jay S. Kevin Aruda was one of four contractors I asked to submit proposals to repair/replace the main drain from the house to the city sewer line in the street. His proposal was thorough and professional. And the way he described his approach to fixing the problem inspired confidence in ways that the other contractors simply did not. He excavated and replaced 18.58 linear feet of pipe. He and his crew performed the work expertly and left the job site looking better than it had before the job began. My experience with this company was perhaps the best contractor experience I've had on any project and Kevin gets my highest recommendation.

When our sewer pipe backed up for the third time in two weeks, I knew I was dealing with an expensive emergency. I was beyond grateful that an hour after I first called Aruda's number, Kevin was at the house to examine the video, assess what needed to be done, get the permits from the city, and give us a firm, and reasonable, bid on the job. The big job was completed in a day. Highly recommended.
I didn't hire them, but I watched them working around our cars during winter storm Nemo. They were very careful and made sure that the sidewalk and street around the parking lot entrances were clear.
Kevin was great to work with. He was professional and reliable. He communicated and dealt with unexpected issues well.
After our initial conversation, I texted Kevin several photos and additional info. In that initial conversation, he did NOT quote a price. He said he would send a proposal, which I said I would discuss with the association -- implication being that I would discuss it once I received it. After several days it still hadn't arrived; I called again, spoke with him, and was told it was going out that day. It never arrived, either by email or by text. I texted several additional times, indicating my continued interest, but received no further response. I finally abandoned the inquiry. I'll give the benefit of the doubt -- but I know what my experience was.
