I can't say enough about Presidential Plumbing & Heating. The owner Tim Rager is amazing. I lost my husband four years ago and never had to worry about home repairs. A friend recommended Presidential to me and they have been there for me at the drop of a hat. I always get an immediate response from Tim no matter what time of day it is and have never once had to wait for service. My water heater burst Sunday evening and by Monday morning they had a new water heater in place. His team of plumbers are top notch and always so helpful. One of them recently told me to get a device that sets off an alarm that senses water leaks. I bought it for $20 on Amazon and it went off when my water heater broke. Thank you Presidential!!

I'm giving a middle of the road score, which will go up if my phone call us returned and down if it isn't. I got home this morning to find your truck parked in my spot. Your plumber wanted to argue with me that it wasn't actually parked there, he was merely unloading it. In my clearly numbered spot. When the tow truck arrived, he argued with the driver until the driver asked me to call the police. I did and went into my condo, the truck is now moved, I don't know if it was before or after the police arrived. Please note, this has also triggered a call to the building department, if you're working in unit 3 you spotless be fine but if you're in unit 1, you should go pull a permit.

Initially, I was very pleased with this company. They replaced a kitchen faucet (I purchased), and replaced a kitchen drain that had rusted. They replaced it with PVC.
These things were done in August. Fast forward to January, the drain was leaking. Tried to contact three times, finally sent a text. They came out to repair, completely redoing it. They tried to charge the same amount as before. It's now early February, and I have a leaky drain!

After staying home from work that day just to be available during the middle of the day they told me they took me off the list because I did not call them back when there was no agreement that I would do so. We had a frozen pipe because of the cold weather, and it was stopping our heat from working. Called in at 7:30am on a weekend morning and they came and fixed the problem within two hours. Great, quick service, hugely appreciated to get the house warm again!

Dwyane the plumber acted very unprofessionally and sabotaged my plumbing after we had a pricing disagreement. He came to snake a drain and when he left, not only the toilet was not working but he also messed up my hot water heating out of spite! Terrible, unprofessional and I now have to lodge a complaint with the police and the city of Boston! Horrible plumber! Stay away unless you want more issues!

Hands down, the best contractor I've ever dealt with. The fact that they actually post their prices on the website -- well, that should tell you something. After unsatisfactory calls and emails with several other plumbers, I luckily found Robbie and, within a few moments of speaking with him, already had a good feeling. He was so straightforward, so clear, and so knowledgeable, a real pro. Refreshing! My instinct proved correct. I originally hired PHD to replace my water heater, but the job turned out to be more complicated than I had anticipated and it became necessary to move my furnace and replace my A/C unit as well. James and his fellow workers did a terrific job of solving all my problems at a very reasonable price. I cannot recommend these guys more highly and consider myself fortunate to have found them.

I had a leaky kitchen sink faucet for awhile that needed repair. I called McMahon plumbing and was warmly greeted with an available plumber the next day. Adam assessed our kitchen sink faucet and was able to replace the faucet on the same day in a very short time and was extremely kind and efficient in his work. Would definitely recommend McMahon plumbing for their reliable and efficient service.

I had moved into a condo that had an existing one year old Mitsubishi mini split system that had some issues, so I was referred to Tbros as they're a certified seller of that product. I called up and they scheduled me for an appointment on a Friday morning from 7-11am. Great, I took the day off from work and around 9am received a call from a guy named Bob telling me, Sorry, we scheduled two people for HVAC services today and we only have one technician. We have to cancel. We are rescheduling you to Monday. You will be our first customer of the day. We guarantee it. Well, at least they called.
On Monday I stayed home from work for the first half of the day. The clock kept ticking until I called them around 10am, at which point I was told, by Bob again, Oh no, we forgot to submit your appointment into the system. Sorry! We will make you our first appointment Wednesday morning. We guarantee it! I'm so sorry we made this mistake, but you don't stay in business for over 100 years by not making things right!.
I was really frustrated, but decided on the Wednesday appointment and took another half day off from work. No one showed. I called up and was told, by Bob again(!), Sir, we have no idea who you are and have never spoken to you and have no record of you. I flew off the handle and then suddenly, Oh, I see your name in the system. I'm very sorry. Heads will roll for this! I guarantee you the first appointment Friday morning! It will be 7:00-11:00am. Suuure....
By chance I had that Friday morning off from work as I had a dental appointment. No one showed up until 1:00pm, at which time I was at my office downtown when they called me to say, Where are you?.
I asked to speak to the owner ASAP. I then was transferred to someone else, who knows if it was really the owner, and I gave him the whole litany above. When I was done, and had mentioned how I'd take a few days off from work, he said to me, These things happen when you're busy. I again repeated how many times Tbros screwed up and how I'd taken my time off from work. The response, As I said, these things happen when you're busy. Oh, do they? Well you won't be so busy any longer because I'll never be calling Tbros again.
This owner then said to me that he would schedule me for a Saturday appointment, but because it was a weekend I would have to incur a weekend surcharge of $20. Would he waive it for me after a last minute cancellation, two no-shows, and one arrivals that was two hours past the end time of the appointment? Nope!!
Here's the final insult. Two months later I opened my mailbox and actually received a bill for about $150 from Tbros for fixing my kitchen sink. I called up and spoke to them and explained how they never got into my home and clearly billed the wrong account. I was actually told by their receptionist, That's not possible. How could we have billed you if we never got into your place? How else could we have your name and address. You're responsible for this bill. I then told the receptionist to to listen to me one more time about how Tbros got my name and address and never showed up, but apparently stuck me with the bill for someone else with a similar name/address/account number. I was then told, Ohhh, followed by a promise that I'd be called back in no more than 10 minutes. 25 minutes later I received a call informing me that It's all taken care of. I said, Good. But I'm guessing you won't apologize?. I was told again, The bill is taken care of.
I can't comment on the service of their technicians, but for their customer service from bottom to top, they should be thanking me that they get even one star.
