I found Steve and Greg through a Moms of Western Springs FB group. We had a switch go out and there was an arc of electricity so I was concerned about fixing it as soon as possible. We had Art came out last minute to fix our electrical problem with our furnace.  He was able to get our furnace back up and running within 30 minutes.  An honest and affordable electrician.  Highly recommended.

Don was very responsive in scheduling the appointment and Mike who completed the work was punctual and thorough. Extremely happy with the work completed which included changing out several light fixtures and a general safety inspection of the electrics. First off , they came out LAST MINUTE on a really crappy snowy day at the end of April . And made it here with a SOLUTION in hand after an hour . Replaced a very old , filled with rust water heater . Not too mention the original plumbing was a potch job . These guys did a PHENOMENAL JOB .

Needed about five overhead lights replaced, some with bad wiring and others with very old fixtures. Jeff came out to our home, resolved some of my 'creative workarounds', offered suggestions, spotted some bad wiring, addressed said problem, and gave me an estimate for other wish list work.

Overall, Jeff was very easy to work with and I'd have no problem recommending him for this type of work.

Had some smart switches that needed to be installed that were a bit above my (admittedly minimal) expertise. David responded with a very reasonable quote right away - and showed up on time when he said he was going to a couple days later. He was professional and courteous - I would highly recommend for any household electrical needs!

Matt responded promptly to my request for an estimate to install a 14-50 NEMA outlet in my garage.  At his visit, he inspected the panel to confirm that it was adequately sized (200 amps), and measured the distance from the panel to where the new outlet would be located.  He emailed me a fairly reasonable estimate with details of the work later that evening, and he responded quickly by text to a few questions I had about the work.  I decided to select Matt based on other Yelp reviews and the confidence he displayed to me while communicating with him.

On the morning of the installation, I cleared off the areas where he needed to work to save his time.  He arrived as scheduled, proceeded to work diligently, and finished the work in 3 hours.  He was very courteous in my interactions with me.  I would highly recommend him for the same type of work and would consider him for any future electrical work at my home.

Had a great experience with Randal Electric. I'm selling my condos in Chicago and some very minor electrical work popped up on the home inspection report. I called a few different electricians on Yelp in the area and a lot hung up on me because my request was too small for them to set an appointment. I communicated with Randy what I needed to be done and he was confident that it would be a quick and easy fix, plus he'd be able to put me down for an appointment the next morning. Eddie was my electrician who was right on time this morning. He was polite and professional and after he was finished with the breaker he even asked if he could review the home inspection report to make sure everything needing an electricians attention was covered. I appreciate honest businesses in home services. While searching for electricians I ran across CR Electric and they tried to upsell me on an entire new panel a 4-6 hour job that would have been unnecessary and over the top. Eddie was able to make the breaker safe and eliminate the double tap breaker installed by a 10+ year old alarm system company that I never used in 7 years of owning the property. I'm glad I called Randal Electric and if I need electricians for the next 4 condos about to go on the market I know who I'll be calling!

They were fantastic from start to finish. Professional demeanor, communicated with us very well throughout. They initially quoted us on the job based on my explanation and a picture but then we soon realized after they got to the job this would not work because of a brick pillar that would have been very difficult to fish wire through. They assessed the situation and gave me different options and were very fair on the price.  Cleaned up afterwards and were willing to answer all of my questions.  Thanks again to Edwin and Brian. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Homer is the hardest working man in Chicago!  Had a big branch fall on my wires and the electric company said no power until it was fixed. Asked friends for suggestions, made several calls, couldn't get anyone to take a look in a timely fashion.
I did find Homer on Yelp, and I'm happy I did.  He came out that day and walked me through all my options. The major repair was all finished within 24 hours, which even allowed us to keep what was in the fridge!
He even helped with getting the electric company to reconnect the power. I would recommend Homer and Eric to anyone.

HandiCo has done a great job on both projects I've contracted (window replacement & concrete bollard installation).  In both instances, they provided a very timely and competitive estimate.  Additionally, their work quality and professionalism were top notch.  I look forward to using them again on future projects.
