We bought a new dryer that was causing an electrical fuse to blow whenever we used it. I called PB Electrical Services and they came right away, diagnosed the issue as needing a new circuit breaker, and fixed it same day. Great service and I'll definitely use them for future electrical needs!

I called All Power Electric the night before thanksgiving for an issue we were having with our circuit breaker. They calmly explained what we should do and promptly showed up the next morning as promised. Tony was extremely professional, respectful of our home, and explained everything in detail. There were no surprises and we are so glad we called this company. We will definitely use them again without hesitation.

I scheduled Excel to come over and replace my doorbell transformer, change our two outdoor lights to motion detector lights, and replace a light fixture in backyard with the exact same brand and stock item because the rust had made it impossible to change the lights on the old one. The fellow arrived with a doorbell transformer that did not fit my description that I gave their office, so he got on the phone with his boss for 10 min, and he figured out the one he had would also work (it does seem to work although it's not the one I requested from Excel that ADT recommended for their Ring doorbell so I guess stay posted whether ADT thinks it's the right one when they come back out). Then, on to the front lights. I thought they were making the existing lights motion lights or even lights that go on at night (putting them on a timer). He gets on the phone again with his boss for 10 min and offers to go out to buy lights, but I like the look of my existing ones, and I don't want to pay for an electrician's time buying lights. I guess they thought I had bought new lights to install. So, we decide to forget that job. He, then, replaced the outside back light with same kind. Total for job? $390. Hmmm...seems a bit high to me. Transformer costs $10-25.00 so that was his only part. He was not here more than 90 min and some of that was phone time with boss. If he's confused about a job, I should not be paying for his time on the phone. I think about the time it took for the two items, and it should have been more like $200-total, not $400. I felt cheated which is too bad--first time this company came out, around 8 years ago, I thought they were amazing. I actually kept their contact information for 8 yrs....but not anymore.

I'd highly recommend to anyone.  They've been out to my home a couple of times and have always done a great job. I had a circuit breaker replaced and a back porch light that had gone out a couple of years ago.  They did a great job.

The epitome of customer service.  Frank Perlongo is good, no great, and performs work as though it was being performed on his own home.

With a perfect rating (save a couple outliers), John probably does not need another 5-star review, but I cannot stress enough how great John is.  He is a diamond in the rough; he truly cares about his craft, while being fair and reasonable to the customer.  I asked him to install 4 can lights, and when he learned it was not possible absent major costs, he installed a single pendant fixture and did not charge me for literally hours of work he put in diagnosing the issue in the first instance.

Super nice workers: this estimate came in 20% less than the others, but quality was not compromised. I had a ductless a/c system with Mitsubishi products. I love it-don't know why I waited so long!

Vlad (Father) came to our new home for inspection the same day I called. Over two days he helped us with all things electrical. From our mortgage home inspection, we learned of many small (and some large) electrical problems throughout our place. We have a very old home, and Vlad was knowledgeable on all issues and worked tirelessly into the dark hours.

Some of the issues included:
* Replacing poorly installed outlets
* Adding needed wire to improperly built outlet boxes
* Resolving reverse polarity outlets
* Running new line and boxes through our attic for improved electrical options
* Grounding poorly connected outlets
* Fuse box review
* New lines to our closets for lighting

We couldn't happier with his work and you will not find better prices. This was confirmed through many 3rd party discussions. Vlad also returned to resolve any faults that reappeared based on old home issues to guarantee his work. He also personally went to the store to gather all needed equipment and materials for the extra work requests I had on site.

My new home was in need of a ton of new lighting and electrical work. When Jonathan came out to give his estimate, I knew he was the right guy for the job for many reasons. He was communicative, thorough, and very knowledgeable. I had a pretty clear vision for what I wanted, so he listened and made sure he understood every detail to get the project done right. There were also a few areas where I was uncertain and he provided me with some really awesome options that ended turning out even better than I could have imagined. Jonathan is a real pro and he will definitely be my go-to for any electrical needs.

Our Generac whole house generator failed to come on during a multi-hour power outage on a Sunday morning. The Generac support line recommended AL Electric as the closest dealer. Andrey picked up the phone after two rings, came out within an hour, and had our generator running within 2 minutes. (The generator had an error code that required dealer service.) His charge for an emergency visit on a Sunday morning was very reasonable and he will be coming back later in the week to do full maintenance on the unit. As the Generac support person said, you need to have a dealer do maintenance on it yearly so AL Electric will be our regular service. Andrey is also very friendly and knowledgeable.

ABS was recommended by a residential lighting retailer.  I emailed them on a Saturday, and got a response the next day!  We scheduled an appointment for an estimate, then received a quote a few days later.  The ABS team came out promptly at the agreed upon time, and were extremely professional.  They installed a medium-sized chandelier in a vaulted foyer in about an hour.   Highly recommended!!  Bryan Rice and the ABS team will not disappoint.

Tom and his team just completed work at our house in Mount Prospect installing 6 new LED can lights and a new ceiling fan in our living room and two new LED can lights in our upstairs hallway. Every aspect of our experience with InTown was top notch. I requested an estimate via their website and got an almost immediate response offering to schedule a convenient date/time for Tom to come by and scope out the work we were hoping to have done. A couple days prior to our scheduled estimate I had to call to reschedule due to COVID concerns and Dawn was extremely understanding and happy to reschedule for a later date. Once we had our estimate rescheduled, Tom dropped by in the evening and patiently walked through the various aspects of the projects I had in mind. He was friendly, polite, wore a mask and booties without me needing to ask, and took the time to answer all of my questions. Within a couple of hours, he emailed me a detailed line-by-line estimate consistent with the work we had discussed.

When we decided to go with InTown for the work, Dawn made it super easy to schedule a date and I received a text messages a day before the scheduled work to confirm the date and start time.

Tom and his team arrived promptly at 8am and took good care to lay down drop cloths and talk us through their game plan to be sure they would be locating the new can lights and fans in the right locations. The project ended up throwing them quite a few curve balls (thick plaster walls, conduit/wires not where they were expecting), but Tom and his team used their experience to find a solution that got us to the desired result with minimal wall damage/need for wall patching.

Tom and his team did a great job taking the necessary time to clean up once completing the project. And before leaving, Tom said to be sure to contact him if there was any aspect of the project that was not meeting our expectations.

Overall, we're very pleased with InTown's professionalism, organization, communication, and work. I would, without hesitation, recommend InTown to anyone looking to have electric work done.

Sal took care of a number of issues at my house - including repairing/replacing broken outlets and light switches. He also installed a couple of lights for me - kitchen tracklighting and an outside flood light.

He was friendly, punctual, and he really took the time to do the job right and to my satisfaction - at a fair price. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

My condo/coop association recommended this company to me as they have done so much work in our old and very quirky building.  I have used them several times to install lighting, add electricity, etc etc.  I cannot overstate my admiration for them.  They are just excellent.  Very professional, very knowledgable, and very trustworthy.  I won't go to anyone else.

Called Jamie in the morning to come out to fix a GFCI receptacle. He made a special trip at the end of his day to get it done. He was very accommodating, courteous and professional. The job was done well and he was very clean and tidy. And he charged a very reasonable rate.
I would highly recommend Jamie and Shock Tech 2 for electric repairs. In fact, they are now our go to electrician.

Don is a bit slow on the draw, and forgets to follow-up at times.  He is climbing up in his years, and I think should be about ready to retire, but despite his occasional forgettfulness, he is a great guy, down-to-earth, and knows his electrical buisness.  He is fair and guarantees his work.  I highly recommend Don Carmen Electric

Called this guy out of a recommendation, had horrible experience talking to him, very rude and disrespectful! Stay away !!
