I had an issue last week where I had partial power in my apartment. Stefan was very responsive and was able to come the very next day. He arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. He walked me through options on what we could potentially do as a fix. In the end, he was able to fix the issue without it being a huge expense which was amazing and I was very thankful for. I am still going to consider a more long term fix that Stefan suggested, and would definitely use him for that work as well.

Had Sims and Sons come out to resolve a few electrical issues in our house and garage. They were very responsive with their communication and were able to send someone earlier than I had asked for. Enis went above and beyond, he was also able to install a new outlet in our pantry without cutting any drywall around the switch box, so I didn't have to patch and paint anything afterwards saving extra time, effort, and money.

We had an inspection report on a new Home which called out a few electrical items that needed attention. I found a recommendation for T&D on Facebook & got them on the job. The whole experience was excellent, from the booking to the arrival & completion of the work. David, the electrician, was helpful & knowledgeable.

Ted (and son Tom) showed up very punctual, a rarity for any contractor apparently, to their scheduled time. The immediately laid down drop cloths, surveyed what they would need to bring into the home and got to work. They added two outlets in two separate rooms and did so very neatly and professionally. Pricing was a bit higher than I expected but nevertheless they did a professional job and even had to run to HD twice for materials needed as my home gave them extra work to do. All in all I'd recommend. Both wore masks the whole time.

Not sure of relationship between reviewer on June 27 and Joe. But I will factually restate what happened on my first and only experience with Joe. He call me at about 11:00 to say he would arrive in 20 min. He arrived about 11:20. Fixed 2 bad switches easily. Then started on the main project, a lighting fixture on our kitchen ceiling. It was a fluorescent fixture with 8 bulbs, custom done. He tried to fix it and recommended upgrade to LED. That did not work. He then said that he could not fix it and I would have to buy a new fixture. He then did proceed to try to fix it more and cut 11 wires (I still have the 11 wires he cut out) while swearing. He then said that it could not be fixed, and we would have to buy a new one. He then charged me $150. I asked for a receipt of labor and parts. He said he did not do that for such a small job. I asked how much the labor was for 1 hour - it was now 12:20. He said he arrived at 11:00. I reminded him that he called me at 11:00 and arrived at 11:20. He then dropped the price to $125 - so I assume $75 for labor (what he had told me his hourly rate was) and $50 for parts (parts being 2 small plastic light switches) A place he recommended to call to get a light replacement confirmed my belief that this would be custom new lighting and extremely expensive. I called another electrician, who came over, replaced the wiring that was cut by Joe and had the light working that day with much better lighting than the fixture had previously. This new electrician gave me an appropriate bill with labor and parts appropriately identified (cheaper hourly rate than Joe I must add). So not sure who Aaron is but given his quick response to my review, I am a little suspect. Do what you want - just want others to avoid my experience.

I reached out via Yelp on a Friday, and Chris came out on Saturday to take a look and provide an estimate (work across two units in our multi-family building). His prices were reasonable and we were able to get scheduled within a few days. He and his team did high quality work very efficiently. We'll definitely call him next time we need electrical help!

A+ experience. Responsive, communicative, prompt, and straightforward. Explained things clearly to me and got the job done exactly how I wanted. Very fair pricing as well. Looking forward to working with Edward again for all my electrical needs.

Ryan showed up six hours late. Replace two outlets and charge us $600.

Very friendly and responsive customer service - Niki was great. They asked us to send pictures of our panel and the work area so they were able to give us a quote over the phone - very efficient. They scheduled the repair within a few days of the call. Electricians were on time, wore masks and answered all our questions.  The repair work was very quick, professional.  They took care to be neat with their work and the install, running the line out of sight in finished areas and exactly where we needed it.  Would recommend and will use for future projects.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

Needed a new light fixture hung in the kitchen. The guys were courteous, professional, and thorough. We plan on using them again soon.

We have used Jake over the years for all of our electrical needs. He is absolutely amazing and always works incredibly hard and fast. If you are looking for surround sound, new canned lighting, rewiring or all of the above, he is 100% the man for the job!

Neville is wonderful! This is the second time I have used Neville's services. He came to replace my light switches with new ones I bought. I started it as a DIY project but these new switches were a little larger and were incredibly hard to squeeze in; also the existing wires were very short. Neville is not only extremely capable, but is friendly and open to suggestions on how I would like the setup, even though he clearly knows a ton more about this stuff than I do. He also handled a couple other items for me. The work took longer than anticipated. Neville rounded down the time and charged me less.  I trust Neville in performing the job well and in as little time as possible to get the work done right!

We turned to Kinetic Energy a couple years ago on the recommendation of a neighbor, after another electrician did some inadequate work.  They're now the only electricians we'll work with.  They have installed lights and ceiling fans and wired our 1914 house for ethernet.  

Recently we had a couple scary incidents with the old cloth-covered wires... what seemed like shorts in two different spots in the house.  They showed up same-day to fix everything, and took extra time to explain to us what had happened.  It's a relief to know we're safe in our house!

A++ in all aspects. I had great pleasure to hire Tom's company for our house project. The project included multiple rooms. Complete Bath and kitchen electrical renovation. Two bathrooms received outlets, switches, can lights and fans. The kitchen received  new can lights and outlets. Living room got new can lights. We also added wired smoke detectors throughout the house. Tom was a total professional when he came in for the estimate. Everything was explained so that there were no surprises any time during the project and he made sure that we understood the work that was going to take place. Prices were very competitive, and work was done in the time promised. Tom made sure that everything was done right, to code and left everything clean and spotless. I would definitely hire again. Highly recommended.

Alex responded to my posting quickly, was clear on costs, and came out at 8am the following day as promised. I gave wrong information on parts and he was ready with solutions to salvage the job and gave great advice. Would definitely hire again.

The Fixer folks are fabulous! Last fall they worked on my tub faucet leak. It was a tough job. Recently, the leak came back. Today Steven S. did an amazing job and solved the problem. Best of all, I was not charged. That, my friends, is how you treat your customers. Thanks, Fixer and thanks, Steven! You all are the best!
