We were looking to install RING security cameras in the front and back of our property.  Stefan came out the day after I reached out to him to assess the situation. I own a small business and we had an issue that needed to be dealt with right away. I looked around Yelp and saw the great reviews for Sims and Sons and decided to give them a call. Darrell was very helpful and let me know everything up front. I had a client at 9 and needed to have my problem fixed before then. Darrell had arranged his time so that I could still run my business by 9 AM - He told me he would be at my business at 8:30. He got here at 8:20. So right away I knew this guy was professional and that he wanted to make sure I was fully functional for my work. He worked efficiently, answered all my questions, and fixed every issue that I had. He literally finished at 8:58, just enough time before my client came in. He even looked at other problems that I had and fixed those as well. I was very satisfied with the service and he explained everything he did. Prices are very reasonable and he already let me know how much everything was going to cost before he came in, so I was prepared and was not bombarded with hidden or extraneous fees that other people try to cheat you with. They followed all the COVID guidelines, Darrell even wiped his feet outside before entering my building because he had walked through some dirt. Very considerate! I've had other people not care and just walk through my business and make my floors dirty. Because of this I can tell he truly cares about his customers. I will continue to hire these guys for any future problems. They deserve all of the praise that you see here!

I was selling my condo and the home inspector found that my fuse box had corrosion on some of the fuses and what looked like rust on the bottom of the fuse box itself. I called around and got some quotes for the worst case scenario of replacing the entire fuse box. Marcus was up front that it would be very expensive to replace the whole box but he wanted to look at it before he quoted me. He came over and told me that all it was was dirt on the bottom of the fuse box. He whipped it down real quick and replaced the corroded old fuses. In and out, the job was down in less than hour and that included running up to the nearest part store to get the fuses. He charged me just the hour and the cost of the fuses, extremely fair. Highly recommend T&D!

I used Highlights when my last electrician basically knew nothing.  Highlights pointed out mistakes I didn't even realize.  These guys are SUPER professional, on time, very friendly, responsible and honestly, the best electricians in Chicago.  I've dealt with many contractors, what a pain.  But Boz the owner is awesome.  They redid my kitchen, my living room, bedroom, new electrical panel.... They warned me that the last guy installed it such that I could have a fire.  I'm so glad they did the work, and they were totally reasonably priced.

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. He also mentioned that his company installs outlets, light fixtures, etc. We will definitely be hiring him again in the future for any electrical needs we have. Thank you, Rogelio.

Needed a new light fixture hung in the kitchen. The guys were courteous, professional, and thorough. We plan on using them again soon.

Needed a Tesla wall charger installed in our garage.  Jake showed up on time and offered a few different options with full explanation of each.

Once we agreed on scope and price he went to work.  You could tell he has installed a ton of these.   Job was completed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than when he started.  

Charger has been used daily for a few months now without issue.  Would recommend.

Kinetic replaced three light fixtures in my new condo, removed two can lights, reconfigured some wall switches (reducing the number of switches I had) and put a fan/light in my living room where there was no pre-existing overhead light. This required cutting two holes in the ceiling and took some time. Both electricians were very professional and worked diligently. They were very clean, setting up a plastic tent-like thing to make sure dust/debris was contained when they cut into the ceiling. I'm really pleased with the work and would definitely recommend Kinetic!

Ted changed out fixtures throughout our house, including a difficult chandelier in our dining room. He also fixed a hot outlet and looked at our garage electrical. He was on time, fairly priced, and did great work. We'll be using him again.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

Katie and D'Angelo were total pros.  They wore booties to protect my flooring/carpet... they seemed to have every fix-it tool known to man and womankind.  Katie even has this intense infrared light leveler that was very cool.  

They hung an extremely large mirror over my couch and it looks awesome.  It makes the room.  And I never could have hung this mirror by myself.  

You guys only get five stars because Yelp doesn't allow 100.
