AC/DC provided quick response and quality work. He was honest when unable to finish the job but returned soon thereafter and finished a good job.

Darrell and team came to install a garage heater yesterday and they did a great job. They were on time, clean, professional, wore masks, and were competitively priced. Not to mention the fact that they're super nice guys. They cleaned up afterward and we are all set to go for a heated winter garage.

Hired to install some fixtures and reroute power. Our technician was prompt, professional, thoughtful about the work and the final quality and attention to detail was excellent. I will 100% be using T & D electrical for any future electrician needs.

This man has no customer service nor does he listen. He is always in a hurry to finish no matter the look. If I could give a zero I would.

Had some electrical troubles in our new house we needed fixed and addressed. Ryan was out at my house within an hour of calling him. Very professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He took the time to not only do a thorough job but explain everything he did each step of the way. Was quite a long project as we couldn't locate the problem immediately, but after some troubleshooting and enjoyable conversation, he located the problem and solved it. I don't know anything about electrician pricing but was told from my family who knows a thing or two about the business that his pricing was great and extremely fair for the job he did the length of time it took. My mother recently needed major electrical work in her 80+ year old house.  We called highlights and they promptly made and appointment to come out to evaluate what was needed.  within 2 days we had an estimate.  We accepted and work was started immediately.  It took just under two days to complete the project, the workers were very professional and hard working.  Everything was done to perfection and we couldn't be happier.  I would recommend this company without any hesitation.

Steer Clear. This is not a legitimate electrical company. Gave me an estimate and did the electrical work for an EV charger in our condo building. Even though building management didn't request City of Chicago license initially, they checked for it later (it can be asked for at any time) and this company is not licensed in the City of Chicago and its illegal to do residential work without it. The job was done completely wrong and he almost blew the sump pump and electrical to entire building by connecting to a panel inexplicably and was told not to. Installed wiring that was bent and broken and taped together which could have caused shocks and burning. New contractor easily installed it - no bends or breaks. The wall outlet installed was open and exposed, and if water dripped to it could electrocute people. Sloppy, cut corners, dangerous, illegal and not up to code. Absolute garbage, rushed work. Refused to get City of Chicago license and come fix job. We will be pursuing our money back. This is an illegitimate electrical company. Avoid at all costs.

Addendum to review:

Right, I'm not an electrician , but here are couple facts that a real electrician should have known and done, that found out about your job.

You were told by the building engineer to use the 480/277 volt panel because 208/120 was already at the capacity.

You just plainly ignored that and proceeded with your version. Maybe you don't know the difference between two.

You ran 208/ 120 wires through 480/277 panel which was a huge code violation and a human life safety issue.

And that's not all:

Then you spliced those wires inside that panel multiple times -- code violation.

You then decided to use lightning contractor conduit to run the wires and overfill that conduit -- code violation.

You installed the breaker at the wrong panel (which was at capacity) so you overloaded that panel.

The wire was badly scraped

You removed pipe straps and made the electrical conduit loose -- code violation.

J boxes that you installed were unsecured and loose with knock outs missing -- code violation

I'm still waiting on the city of Chicago electrical registration paperwork  from you.

A qualified electrician would know right away that he is working with 480/277 volts and would have informed me that i needed a step down transformer in order for the EV charger to work!

On top things you have charged me over $2K for 2 J boxes and a roll of #6 wire, which costs $600 at the most. The piping was already 97% there , so what took you so long.

It took a qualified electrician a total of 8 hours to remove the faulty work and install everything from scratch including installing the transformer.

We'll happily accept a refund to settle this matter

High quality work for a great price. Very impressed and will be hiring them for more work in the future. They hung a chandelier in my house with very high ceilings and it looks great.

Recently used Urban Power to have third panel installed at my 2 flat in Logan Square and the needed infrastructure installed to house a new third meter.  I found Jake to be easy to work with. I feel all work was completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.  I also felt the pricing was fair compared to other quotes I received.  I felt some of the other quotes I received, the companies were trying to over sell me.  Jake quoted the proper materials need to get the job done.  I would gladly use Jake again in the future and recommend him.

I never actually got to work with Blacklite, but they were extremely slow getting back to me on booking them and the whole text message only communication deal is the worst.  Check out Martini Electric if you want to work with communicative, professional and responsive electricians - that will call you back.

Absolutely great company to deal with from initial quote, consultation, customer service and installation point of view. The entire team was a pleasure to deal with, and communicated throughout the process for install, permits, and inspections. We had some new power sockets installed for our laundry area and the job was very neat and smooth. Would highly recommend and will be working with Kinetic again in the future!
