Don't think twice, just hire AC/DC. Stefan provided the lowest quote and was able to come out the very next day. He was extremely prompt and communicative. We had an issue with the ladder being too short, but he found a ladder that would work, was back the very next day and got the job done. I could not be more pleased with his work, and will definitely call him again next time.

Darrell and crew did an excellent job for us. Darrell is very patient and thorough in explaining what he would suggest doing for our job and making sure everything worked properly once installed. The crew wore masks, consistently put on shoe covers and/or took shoes off when entering the home and they take the time to clean up after the work.

Rodrigo, the electrician, arrived promptly and was very pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had 2 recessed lights that were not working. He was able to fix one while here, and for the other, he will have to order a part and return. The cost was very reasonable and the whole experience a good one.

Joe is the best. Thoughtful. Detail oriented. Fair pricing. He came to our home (built in 1969) and added 38 recessed / can lights all over the house. I almost don't want to review him so he doesn't get booked up, but he deserves all the work that comes his way!

He is the person to call for quick and easy fixes - he says he specializes in service calls (installing light fixtures, troubleshooting things around your house). I live in a real old house in Oak Park, tried to replace the possibly just as old light fixture on the porch myself and ran into a lot of rust and stripped wires and stuff I was not expecting so I knew I needed professional help. I used Kinetic Energy after a lackluster experience with another company. Kinetic has been a joy to work with (though no one wants electrical issues!).  

Even when they are busy, they are quick to respond and they always arrive on time and are able to identify issues and fix anything that's needed. Tom and his crew do such great work! Highly recommend them. They installed 4 outdoor outlets in our yard and also trenched wires underground so they were no longer exposed to the elements. This is a great handyman service - I had a leaking toilet that they came out to fix. 8 months later, the problem recurred, and I was dreading paying for someone come out again. I spoke with Fixer and they were happy to do a follow-up repair free of charge. Really quality customer service!
