Howard is the man. Straight and to the point. He fixed our electrical breaker problem and was honest about it. I got other electricians to come out and they all said I needed to replace the entire electrical service to the tune of about $2000-3000.

Howard told me that he would not replace the service unless need be and he did not think it was necessary.

He will be our go-to electrician from this point on.

Call Howard, you wont be sorry. He may be busy so be patient and wait for a call back. It is worth the wait for someone honest and whom will save you money in this day and age.

I had North Shore Electric replace 5 outside lights, repair a wall light and install a Cable TV cable outlet in the wall of my 100 year old house and they did an outstanding job.

We hired Goran to correct some code violations in my mom's older home, replacing outlets with 3-prong and GFCI and adding some additional outlets in the garage. The same day I called he came and did a free estimate. His work was quick and efficient and he did not charge more than his original estimate even though I had under counted the number of outlets that needed replacing. He is easy to work with and we thought his work was excellent. We are going to need more work done and will definitely be calling him. You will not go wrong by hiring Goran.

Norh installed an outlet in my garage and installed a ceiling fan. He was professional, quick and reasonably priced. I would definitely use his services again for any future projects.

I hired Scott Nelson Electric (found by doing a web search) to install pendant lighting above a butler bar / island in my kitchen. There was no existing electrical there so, they needed to run electrical to existing switches and cut a hole for the electrical box.

I could not be happier with the work. Everything that was discussed while scheduling was what actually happened on site, nothing unexpected.

The cost was extremely reasonable, and the electricians that did the work were polite, knowledgeable, communicative, and had a sense of urgency about the project.  They even patched my ceiling, and well, too.

I would definitely hire Scott Nelson Electric again.

We give Mike and MPG Electric 5 stars with no reservation. His work is thorough, accurate, neat, promptly completed at a fair price. He has done several smallish projects for us in the past few years. The most recent was installing new under-cabinet LED lights and a ceiling pendant in the kitchen -- life changing -- so bright! And the peace of mind in knowing that the job was done right.

These guys are great. I had them install a Nest doorbell and outdoor camera. They were extremely respectful of my home and everything was done professionally and cleanly. Pricing was reasonable too.

Had too many estimates on a remodeling job in my basement everyone was giving me the run around and outrageous prices . I chose Penco because of the awesome reviews and I have to tell you they were awesome , on time , clean work , super job , great price . They wired my 20 new recessed lights and 13 outlets ,8 switches, plus new larger circuit breaker panel and cleaning up wiring by the panel that was bx and using conduit to clean up the area that was over 30 or 40 years of old wiring . Everyone didn't want to do the panel in my house because the pipe coming in from the meter needed to be moved over couple inches . Other companies were just coming in for an estimate and would not call back or they gave me a ridiculous price on purpose so I wouldn't call call them back not Penco they came in confident man unbelievable so happy  I chose them . I would give them 10 stars if I could . Definitely call them back for any job . Great communication nothing hidden everything up front .

The owner Christian came out to see about fixing my pocket door. He was really nice and professional, and also gave me a really good breakdown of what was happening with the door and why it wasn't working. He took his time and was really straightforward with what the issues were, the amount of time that the project would take, and the projected cost.

While we aren't moving forward with fixing the door just yet, I will be calling The Good Guys for other projects because I appreciated his honesty and straightforwardness.

I had Caval Electric do some work for me today and I was really glad I did.  Carlos showed up early, which is always a plus in my book.  I did something really stupid with my hard-wired smoke detector and lost power to part of my apartment.  However, it turned out that really wasn't the source of the problem:  when I was monkeying with the fuses in my old-fashioned fuse box after the incident, I removed one where the socket was defective. I couldn't put the fuse back in properly and thus the power loss.

Carlos discovered the problem in my fuse box, crafted a solution to it, and reconnected my smoke detector.  He was friendly, polite, and quick, but he took the time to explain to me what the problem was and made sure I understood how to replace the battery in my smoke detector and reattach it to the ceiling.  To top it off the price was very reasonable.  I will be calling Caval the next time I need an electrician.

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

Oscar was amazing.  My lights went out on the top floor of my two flat building.  The house is wired very odd with bsmt, first and second connecting in many weird areas.  The house is also over 100 years old so Oscar had a task ahead.  He has been here three times total and the price was very reasonable for the work done.  He was always on time and professional and cleaned up things he didnt even have to like the ceiling fan before putting it back up.  Thoroughly impressed.  His knowledge of older wiring and the ability to troubleshoot it was top notch!  Also Junior who answered all my calls and emails was very professional and even followed up with me over the weekend off hours.  I appreciated the entire service and will be using them again for projects big and small.

My original review was one star due to Some real garbage work and high pricing that one of their new workers did. Kenneth refunded some of the money but it took many months of arguing which I didn't deserve because his workers didn't have proper tools or work ethic to complete the job.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.
