Fast, on time, honest service.  We asked for a pre home inspection of our electrical panel, expecting news that we'd need to a good amount of cleaning up (it's from the 1970's) but Ted took his time to thoroughly examine, and confidently determined it's in great order, safe, etc.  He said it was up to code and there was no reason to do anything to it.  What a huge relief.  He is putting it on letterhead for us, for a future home inspection for peace of mind.  Very minimal charge for his service.  I am highly recommending Kinetic Energy (and Ted!) - they were honest, amazing!!

Steve replaced four outdoor light fixtures and installed a GFI outlet in the kitchen. Great communication setting up the appointment, electrician was exactly on time. He explained the work clearly and completed it quickly while making sure we were satisfied and everything worked properly. Excellent experience, highly recommend!

Chris continues to do fantastic work for us - he oversaw a bathroom remodel, front facade renovation, and most recently, a parking pad removal (which sounds less exciting but was complicated).

I think that what sets Chris apart from other contractors is that he genuinely cares about his clients' satisfaction and always has their best interests at heart.  We put our complete trust in him!

I was concerned that I might have a major problem and would need a new refrigerator after John looked at it he quickly solved the problem. His price was very reasonable.

Keith was very professional when speaking with him and his prices was reasonable from the other quotes that I received. He started the work that was on his list and He even did things that was not in the quote which made me know that he's does this profession for the love of it. I am grateful for his great services.. I will be calling him back for other projects.

Frank is incredibly accommodating, kind and helpful. He has done so many projects for us and his rates were  always considerably better than anyone else. Frank is one of the most trustworthy people I know and a real gem to have in your home. I can not recommend Frank highly enough.

Joe does top notch work and can fix just about anything.  He also works very quickly as well.  However, his rates are insanely high.  I was charged 165 an hour which is mind boggling.

Great job & in a timely manner.  Very nice guys.

Jamie was great.  He gave me a good price to install a new electrical outlet for our dryer.  He was available to come out quickly and while he was here he fixed a three way switch that wasn't working properly!

We highly recommend this company! We had a great experience with Louis and Peter! After moving to Illinois from California, we found this company after reading other reviews on Yelp. Louis answered my initial call right away, promptly scheduled an estimate at our home, and scheduled a date to complete the work soon after. We had quite a few projects for him to tackle but he and Peter did an excellent job. They were on time, professional, courteous, and friendly! They were even great with my two year old son who wanted so badly to help them with the projects. Very friendly, reliable, hard working guys! Completed all of the jobs in less than a day's work. Even helped with a completely electrically-unrelated handyman kind of job...much appreciated! Would definitely call again for future electrical work and highly recommend!

Dominik and his team did a great job for us and I'd highly recommend them for similar projects (we had two new recessed cans installed over our shower and a bathroom light fixture installed). I had an outlet making noises that I knew were not right and that it was an urgent situation. I shut off my power and called a bunch of electricians who were too busy. I called Big City Plug and James answered and was over in about 90 minutes. He fixed me right up and I'm having him back to check all my outlets. He's fantastic - friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. So glad I found him!

Terrible service, felt scammed the entire time. Tried to up charge me by hundreds of dollars. Took advantage of me not knowing electrical issues. Tried to charge me $650 for what second electrician I called told me was $120 worth of repairs. Beyond frustrating company to work with.

They probably nice people having a bad day, but I called just to get some info and got hung up on twice. The first time I was hung up on soon as I finished my question. Then I thought the phone might have just messed up, no biggie. I call back get immediately put on hold and 90 seconds in it picks up and I get hung up on again. Not trying to be a bother, just was interested in your services and prices.
