Great job at a great price.  I've used them on several jobs so far, and they have quickly diagnosed and dealt with every problem encountered.  They clean up after, and have always been on time (or even early).  Highly recommended!

Called this company friday around 6.45pm .Was able to get my lightfixture up  next day for good price.Workers really paid atention to detail covered  all floors before putting ladders  i am very happy with service.

Could not say enough great things about Milan at MD Advanced Electric. Hired him to hardwire my pool pump. I kept getting delays in my pool install, and Milan was super flexible. The day he came out to do the work, it was well over 100 degrees with the heat index. Milan got all the work done quickly, and even took the time to show me that all the safety aspects of the install were working.

Would absolutely hire again!

All I can say is AWESOME! Billy did a wonderful job with various home repairs/projects that were needed and I will definitely call ABI again in the future when ready to continue the improvements to my home!!! His honesty and efficiency are appreciated very much!

I had been a regular customer of Oakwood Electric for last few years.  They have been doing the annual service on our whole house Generac generator.  Since I considered myself a loyal Oakwood customer when I decided to have a 240 volt outlet installed for an electric vehicle I naturally thought I would use Oakwood.  What a mistake that turned out to be.

At the time I made the appointment for this year's annual generator service I inquired about getting a proposal to install the new outlet.  Rob, the owner, came out to do the proposal.  As he was assessing what needed to be done I asked him a few questions about installation and if he had any advice.  His response was that they only had experience with Tesla chargers so he couldn't offer any advice.  I should have picked up on his apparent disinterest.  Another cue was when I asked about whether we needed anything special for the new outlet to make sure the generator is not over whelmed if a vehicle is being charged and the generator comes on due to loss of utility power.  Turns out, we do.  Had I not asked about the need for a power management device it would not have come up.  He didn't know we have a generator.  Rather surprising since the person who made the appointment for the proposal was the same person who set up the appointment for this year's generator maintenance.  Based on this and what was yet to occur, internal communication within Oakwood is questionable, at best.

A few days after Rob's visit I called Oakwood Electric to inquire about having some additional maintenance items recommended by Generac included as part of this year's generator maintenance.  Really pretty standard things; changing a filter and a routine engine adjustment.  The lady I spoke with was unfamiliar with the items and said she needed to find out.  Turns out Rob was there and so she asked him.  Apparently he didn't realize, or didn't care, that I could hear him because his response was that they wouldn't do either item because it was too hard.  He said that he would prefer not to service the specific model Generac generator we have because the unit is not easy to work on.  I couldn't ignore his last statement so I asked the lady to whom I was speaking about what was going on.  Specifically, even though they had been servicing my generator for the last few years are they now refusing to do so?  She said they would do the regular service and not the additional items I asked about.

The day of installation the tech did not show up at the agreed upon window of time.  I called the office about 30 minutes after the scheduled time and was told he's on his way.  A few minutes later Courtney from Oakwood Electric called me back to say the tech had an issue at home and he would be at my house in about an hour.  So he went from being on his way to not being on his way but still home.  Ok.  Over an hour later still no tech.  I called again, and once more Courtney told me that he was on his way.  I asked if she had spoken with him and her response was that he was on his way.  Ten minutes later she called me to let me know he still was at home and could we reschedule the installation.  At this point I had, had it.  Lied to twice by Oakwood's staff as well as I am not interested in having a tech who apparently doesn't have a sense of responsibility to keep his employer informed do work for me.  I cancelled the installation.

I found another electrician to do the installation who not only is less expensive, he is charging 20% less, but also doing it right by getting a permit which, as I found out from other electricians, is required by the city in which I live.  I also decided to have another approved Generac generator maintenance company handle the maintenance of our generator.  The new local company selected to do maintenance is not only less expensive than Oakwood but also their standard service procedures include the additional maintenance items I asked about that Oakwood is not interested in doing.

Bottom line - from my experience if you want bad service and over pay for it, Oakwood is for you.

Had an issue where I needed a replacement of an old pushmatic breaker to comply with an inspection.   Don came himself and was able to get me up and running !!!  He even fixed some of the honey do items I incorrectly installed..

We were getting a drain tile installed right before Christmas.  Elton did a great job.  We had a major electrical issue and came by same day.  He gave us a fair estimate. He and his team did a great job, we're very respectful, and were top notch!  We'd strongly recommend using them.  Thank you so much for your great job!!!

Had a minor electrical emergency at our place and called Al. He was in the middle of another job, but was really close. He was at our place in less than 30 minutes, spent another 30 diagnosing the problem and gave us a temporary fix until he could come several days later.

A few days later he came with his son and they spent almost the entire day pulling all the old ceiling/attic wiring from our 100 yr old Bungalow. They replaced everything with new wiring all the way to the breaker box, installed some new switches/dimmers and a new ceiling fixture. They did a great job and cleaned up everything completely. It's so hard to find honest contractors in Chicago and Al is just a fantastic person to deal with.

I've used Master Handymen for many years. Most of the time it was for smaller projects, like electrical, and fixing things around the house. I recently used them to remodel my bathroom, and repair/replace a bunch of stuff in anticipation of selling my house. The repairs and remodel were extensive enough to take a few days to complete. Gino sent over a written quote and contract, detailing all the work to be done. He worked with my schedule to find the dates. The workers arrived on time. They put down plastic everywhere to contain the dust and dirt, even on the stairs. The bathroom remodel involved moving and replacing plumbing, putting up drywall, and installing a very large vanity and mirror. They finished off a room in my basement with drywall, and replaced a few large sections in another room of my basement because of damage and removal due to foundation crack repairs. They installed all new baseboards, and primed all the new drywall. They also upgraded many of my light fixtures and outlets to bring them up to code, repaired a kitchen cabinet, and replaced my range hood and kitchen faucet. The guys were all friendly, and they worked hard, only taking a break for lunch. When they left, the house was cleaner than it was when they got there. The price was very reasonable, and well worth it. I would recommend Master Handymen for any project, large or small!

Kevin Welter of Welter Home Services is outstanding!  We've had him to our house twice now to complete projects ranging from hanging a stained glass window pane to replacing light switches to fixing our storm door so that it latches properly.  And so much more.  He always comes up with great solutions to problems with our house we thought we'd never be able to solve!  For instance, he noticed damage to our hardwood floor in the entryway and after asking a few questions about what we would like to see done, he laid out a common sense plan to repair it that would be simple and cost effective.  Eureka, I say!  That's just the type of person we need on-call to help us as we muddle through home ownership.  We are relieved to have found such a competent, hardworking, and reasonably priced handyman whom we can TRUST in Mt. Prospect.  We also have received some great referrals from him for our fireplace repairs/upkeep and our pending driveway and patio project.  We are THRILLED to have found him!  To say we highly recommend Welter Home Services is an understatement.  He is essential around here!

Jack was great to work with from the start.  He came up with a better solution for installing my 200 amp then other electricians. He was also very knowledgeable and explained everything in much detail so I felt confident in him doing the work. He was also very easy to work with and an overall nice guy.  After he completed the job he took the time to follow up and schedule a time to take down old electrical equipment that was put on the house. Josh is a great electrician - and a nice guy! He promptly responded to our request, arrived right on time, and did an excellent job. All of this, and at a pleasingly affordable price. I'm extremely satisfied. If I need additional electrical work in the future, I'm definitely using him again.

I had my basement refinished and Randy with Village Electrical & Home Service came in gave us a good estimate so we used his services. Not only did he give us a good price but he also gave us quailty work and very professional and finsished on time. I can not thank him enough for a job well done and making refinshing the basement that much easier for us. He did such a great Job we sent him to our cousin who need the electic redone in her home.

Same day fix. Not trying to gouge people in need. They were honest, very reasonably priced, and gave good advice about some other electrical questions we had. Will definitely use again if I need an electrician. Oak Lawn, Palos, Worth, etc should be happy to have Bright Electric on standby!

I called multiple electricians and Gabe was the most professional and courteous. I was amazed at how many simply didn't return my messages (multiple attempts at that!)

I wanted an outdoor motion-sensor floodlight with security camera installed outside my garage, and I was able to book Gabe a couple days out. He was prompt, confirmed the work that needed to be done, and was friendly. A junction box was installed inside my garage without any issues. He even made sure I was able to connect to the camera successfully on my phone before he left.

Very satisfied! Called, got my appointment same day as he was willing to come in the evenings to accommodate my schedule.  Electrician replaced my light fixture without charging any extra for extra parts and from the hourly rate he had quoted which was VERY reasonable.  Overall, couldn't have worked out any better.
