Rufino and his son Edgar were efficient, exceptionally open to special requests, and very well priced. They were responsive to phone calls within the hour for a week straight (we were having lots of work done so their portion was staged). They performed high quality work and explained code regulations clearly and concisely. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.

Our electric kept going out and it wasn't due to a circuit breaker issue on the main box inside the house.  We thought it had to be ComEd and they came out and said it wasn't them.  I talked to a couple electricians that said it was likely some bad wiring inside the house.  Through a referral, I talked to Mike and CM Electric and he asked a few questions then had a list of a few things it would be.  Vlad came out and diagnosed that I had a bad main breaker on the outside of the house that was probably 40 years old.  Vlad was sharp as well and he got a new breaker and was back the next day for the repair.  This was beyond the normal repair issue and they were able to figure it out quickly and get it resolved.  Definitely would use them again.

Brian was extremely polite, honest, and very efficient. He fixed the electrical problem I had going on without breaking a sweat! Will definitely be reaching out to him again in the future if any services are needed!! Thanks again Brian!

Could not say enough great things about Milan at MD Advanced Electric. Hired him to hardwire my pool pump. I kept getting delays in my pool install, and Milan was super flexible. The day he came out to do the work, it was well over 100 degrees with the heat index. Milan got all the work done quickly, and even took the time to show me that all the safety aspects of the install were working.

Would absolutely hire again!

Recently bought a home and our shower stopped working. Some how the shower passed the home inspection. I came to yelp for help in the area. ABI had great reviews so I gave them a try. Billy came out asap and helped me resolve my issue in the very same week. He even explained some homeowner maintenance and tips to me as well (im a first time owner).I will definitely be using this company time and time again!

2 exhaust fans stopped working in heat of summer. I called several electricians and it appeared this job wasn't big enough for them. I am uncomfortable having anyone other than a licensed electrician come out.

my wife and i bought our first home in april of 2010.  we had stars in our eyes and big aspirations on renovating it to fit our vision, but just as we were closing on it my wife lost her job and we found out we were expecting our first child.  losing half of our income kind of put a damper on how much work we could have done on the house.

after going into full on handyman mode (i'm really not much of a handyman, thank goodness for my father and father in law and their help) we managed to get most of the work done on our own.  after several DIY projects, including removing the carpet and carpet tacks from the 1st floor and installing a hardwood floor on the 2nd floor, we were exhausted and just wanted to move in already.  much to our surprise, the red oak floor under the carpet wasn't in as good of shape as we hoped and we didn't feel we could finish it ourselves without it looking terrible.

enter gino and master handymen.  we were on a shoestring budget and really didn't think we could get a good deal on the hardwood floor finish and moulding installation.  a call to gino and one surprisingly affordable estimate later, and we were set.  his crew came in right on time and a day later, we had gorgeous finished hardwood floors and totally flush moulding.  for the amount of work completed at the price we were given, i would go with them again in a heartbeat.

I emailed & spoke with Kevin regarding adding an electric car charger in the garage.  He went above and beyond in explaining my options along with providing a bit of education on the topic along with discussing the pros and cons of various configuration options.  The call lasted about 15 minutes and I was left well informed of my next steps.  His quote was also in line with what others charge.

Wow!  Added 3 surface mounted spots in the ceiling and a wall switch in our 100+ yr old house in Wilmette. Zero mess. Nothing to paint or patch. Ryan arrived - covered everything with tarps - neatly laid out all the tools and parts needed, consulted on location with my wife and finished before 3pm. Could not be more satisfied.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.........We had an electrical issue; lost power to several outlets in our kitchen after we changed out a garbage disposal switch.  Village Electrical responded quickly and Randy skillfully assessed the problem, found the issue and corrected the glitch quickly and professionally.  Responsive, professional, honest, and reasonable.

Same day fix. Not trying to gouge people in need. They were honest, very reasonably priced, and gave good advice about some other electrical questions we had. Will definitely use again if I need an electrician. Oak Lawn, Palos, Worth, etc should be happy to have Bright Electric on standby!

Buyer beware. Asked owner to change under cabinet lighting product half way through install that he was supplying so to get better and more even lighting. All I got was attitude with eye rolls and resistance. Then he wanted to change contract to work already completed. He also thought I was being picky when complaining about drill marks inside brand-new cabinets. They also did work differently than discussed prior to work started when running electric to the kitchen island. The only possible resolve for any of my dissatisfaction was to be charged additional money. He had no problem taking FULL payment with no resolve and leaving a very Unhappy Customer.
In response to owner's comments - WOW, I ordered new lights and paid for them separately, that I asked him to use on area that was not yet started, but he wanted to adjust contract for work already completed. Also, the discount was negotiated prior to acceptance of the estimate.

Very satisfied! Called, got my appointment same day as he was willing to come in the evenings to accommodate my schedule.  Electrician replaced my light fixture without charging any extra for extra parts and from the hourly rate he had quoted which was VERY reasonable.  Overall, couldn't have worked out any better.
