So happy with Stefan's work!!

I needed to have 2 lightings installed where none existed prior.
This required electrical wiring, and cutting of the walls etc.
Stefan responded promptly to my inquiry via Yelp, and asked to see the work to be done. He told me he needed to estimate the cost of materials required, and called me with the estimate the following day. I selected him because his price was below average, he provided prompt feedbacks, and was very respectful and organized.

I was not disappointed! He performed the work with such ease and cleaned up nicely. He even replaced the whitewall he removed... just waiting for a painter to do the final touches.

I was so happy that I referred him to my Mom as well.

Will use him again and again for my electrical works, and will refer him to anyone wanting a hassle free and near perfect finish!

We had some outlets and a light fixture go out in our rental unit. Happened to find Sims and Sons on here and gave them a call due to their good reviews. After less than a day of texting they had a tech come to fix the problem within 2 days. Anel was a great help and he even came early (with a good amount of warning and communication on timelines).

The issue was thankfully very simple, and both Anel and HQ were in constant contact as they worked through the possible solutions and what it might take to fix them. Should I need anything else done, I'll call them in a heartbeat.

Shoot out to T&D Electrical for some great electrical work. The business I manage used them earlier today to replace/install a hanging light fixture. Called yesterday & they were out today. Quick & efficient work with nice attention to detail. David was our electrician. We will use them again, for sure!  Price was comparable (w/in $5) of what we paid our previous electrician. Shop & support local!

Ted is excellent, he really knows his stuff! He came with in days of providing me an online quote. He was very professional, on time, and very knowledgeable. Reasonable prices and even did a few extra things that I had not mentioned in original quote request. I highly recommend Ted!!!

My wife and I are in the middle of a whole bunch of improvement projects right now while we remodel our 1923 house. After getting a few different estimates for electrical work, we ended up hiring Joe to re-do our service (updating an old 60amp fuse box from the 40s to 100amp service with a breaker), update our old ungrounded outlets, and install some fans and light fixtures. The price we got was great for the work he was going to do, and for the quality of the work that he did.

I have to say that of the multiple contractors we've dealt with for various projects over the past 6 months during our remodeling, so far Joe is the only one who, to put it simply, did what he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it, for how much he said it would be. No BS, no excuses, and quick to respond to questions we had. If all the contractors we've been working with for other projects were as good to us as Joe was, I'd have a few less gray hairs coming in. Next time we need electrical work done, we know who we'll be calling.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. We had issues with an outdoor outlet nuisance tripping during heavy rain, even after having a new cover installed.  Unfortunately this outlet shared a circuit with our bedroom and office outlets, so the tripping caused heavy disruption.   It was particularly bad very early one morning after a stormy night, which left me scrambling at 7:15am trying to find an electrician.  Greenline answered immediately and was able to come out later that afternoon.  After some troubleshooting and exploratory work, the recommendation was to put the GCFI outlet on a dedicated circuit to prevent further disruption.  They came back the next day and did so quickly and efficiently, and even replaced the cover with a more durable one.  They also thoughtfully replaced our old and worn bedroom light switches and a scarred outlet for free - I really appreciated their thoughtfulness here.  They did all this for a very reasonable price and were easy to work with and communicative every step of the way.  I highly recommend them if you need any electrical work done!

My husband Tony contacted Ryan yesterday regarding a partial power outage at my mother's home the night before. Tony met him there and he checked the electrical service box. He determined there was a problem with the existing wiring and promptly traced, found and repaired the source of  intermittent interruptions.
He solved a complex wiring system issue with professional expertise.

There are no words that can describe my gratitude for Highlights supreme customer service and superb response time.  I needed a diagnosis for an issue occurring at a condo that I no longer reside in - in what was the first snow storm of the winter, highlights not only answered my phone call with professionalism but was able to send out an electrician within the hour.  Darryl, the electrician was extremely personable, knowledgeable, and walked me through every step of the way.  Furthermore, Darryl was respectful to my tenants, his work area, and had such an easy going demeanor.  I can't thank Highlights enough, they are fair and trustworthy.  I will be using them again in the future.

Rogelio did a good job on our building. Repaired some outlets, in the apartment, garage, and outside of the building. He shared photos of his progress. We talk over the phone to clarify details and got a quote on the spot for additional work that was necessary and was finished the same day after getting the parts needed.
He is also bilingual, what helps communicating easier for a larger population group.
All good overall.

Rodney and Jose are a great team. The removed a light fixture from a closet header, completed the demo of closet header and moved a slight switch. And then patched the drywall and prepped for paint. So great this duo can complete both the electrical and the drywall repair. Wrapped in one day.

Recently used Urban Power to have third panel installed at my 2 flat in Logan Square and the needed infrastructure installed to house a new third meter.  I found Jake to be easy to work with. I feel all work was completed satisfactorily and in a timely manner.  I also felt the pricing was fair compared to other quotes I received.  I felt some of the other quotes I received, the companies were trying to over sell me.  Jake quoted the proper materials need to get the job done.  I would gladly use Jake again in the future and recommend him.

After my husband and I failed miserably at installing a light (and disconnected two other lights in the process), we called Blacklite -- and couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Neville arrived right on time, fixed our lights, installed two dimmers and figured out the source of another lighting problem within an hour. On top of that, his workmanship was impeccable. So, yes, he lives up to the Yelp hype! Highly recommended.

The team at Kinetic Energy has helped us with many projects since we moved into our home in Oak Park.  Kinetic always provides competent, courteous and respectful electricians.  We feel comfortable having them work on our home.  But on Christmas Eve the owner Ted responded to our call that our living room lights were out and we needed some help as we were having guests Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  Ted came out in less than half an hour and immediately identified and fixed the problem.  We couldn't thank him enough, he said that was his job and he was glad he could fix the problem.  Ted said no problem and wished us a happy holiday.  We would highly recommend Kinetic for all your electrical needs.  You won't be disappointed.

Tom installed a Tesla rapid charger in our garage yesterday. He did this with professionalism and expertise. I will hire him again for future electrical needs.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

I'll start with the pros - these guys had availability to help with fixing up our apartment amidst a national labor shortage.  The availability of services was also great, and finally, the quality of the work was commendable.  Very well-done, no complaints whatsoever.

And the reasons why I would urge you to take your business elsewhere:

1) The company definitely has a startup vibe and as a result, we couldn't get anyone on the phone.  After multiple attempts.  I tried texting the # they have on the website and no response (who texts about important stuff anyway).

2) We were WAY OVERCHARGED for some simple services.  Replacing a toilet handle + replacing several outlet covers (wall plates) costs...guess how much?  $200?  $500?  Try $1,100.

Kind of unbelievable!
