I had some wall lights at my house I wanted to remove, but I wasn't sure how to handle myself since they were hardwired. AC/DC Electrical handled my request in a timely manner (same week I reached out). Stefan was very kind and even ran to Home Depot to help me address a couple of other unforeseen issues with loose outlets. The service was also fairly priced and cost effective when compared to other quotes I got. I highly recommend hiring AC/DC for their services!

Darell did a really good job. We are trying to install a smart Toto toilet washlet cover, but wasn't sure where to get the power supply. Darell provided us a complete solution for installing this water proof outlet and showed us how to route the water supply. Excellent job. Highly recommended.

Rodrigo at T&D Electrical was a total pro, and I will happily hire him again. Yesterday my HVAC contractor was on-site to install my new AC compressor, and they realized while they were there that the wiring they had wasn't long enough to reach from the electrical box on the side of the house to the compressor (there are several feet of deck under which the wiring had to stretch), so an electrician needed to custom-build conduit and wiring to stretch from the box to the compressor. I first called a previous electrician I had used on a separate job, but they were unavailable for the next several days, and I really wanted someone to come out and do the wiring work as soon as possible. I called T&D because they already had stellar reviews on both Angie's List and Yelp. I can't remember the person's name in the office I spoke to, but she was incredibly friendly and supportive. I gave her all my info and an explanation of the work needed to be done and sheepishly asked if someone could come out that same day. I braced myself for her to say the equivalent of Are you kidding me? No, we can't come out today. Are you crazy? However, she pleasantly put me on hold, and a few minutes later came back on the line to tell me one of her guys, Rodrigo, had a cancellation and would be at my house in about 90 minutes. I couldn't believe it. Rodrigo arrived ten minutes early, and was very friendly and careful in the house. I showed him to the area where the work was to be done, and with very little explanation from me, he knew exactly what he needed to do and was off to work. He built/constructed custom curved conduit for the three wires to run from the side of the electrical box up to the floor joists of my deck and back down to the power on the compressor. The conduit it securely fastened to the deck joists, and it looks perfect. The whole project took around an hour, and he was gone almost as quickly as he arrived. He and I settled up, he swiped my credit card, and left an invoice/receipt (which I appreciated...the previous electrician I used on a separate job did not ever send me a receipt, even after multiple inquiries). Lastly, the price was amazing!

Had a bad outlet in the garage.  Called Ted Monday morning and he came by and replaced the bad GFCI outlet.  Ted was knowledgeable and friendly, would definitely use Ted again!

Joe was responsive, on time, fixed the problem quickly and for a fair price. Can't ask for more than that. When he left I was confident the job had been done correctly.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. Edward was awesome! He was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Very communicative! He and his team installed five pot lights and a second switch in our hallway. They did a wonderful job and was incredibly efficient. We love our new lights!

While trying to install a new lighting fixture in the basement of our 1920s home, we encountered some truly baffling issues that, among other things, affected the outlets in our living room upstairs. After trying to troubleshoot the issue every way we knew how, we consulted Yelp to see if there was an electrician nearby who might be able to sort things out for us.

After reading the glowing reviews of Ryan Electrical Power and Lighting, it was an easy decision. Ryan responded to my request almost immediately and was at our home in Oak Park within an hour.

As we expected, our electrical issues weren't exactly straightforward but Ryan took his time to locate and remedy the problem and, in the process, eased our concerns about the safety and longevity of our wiring.

Ryan was extremely professional and courteous (he chatted with my dad and explained everything he was doing every step of the way so we know what to be on the lookout for in the future) and his rates were really fair. (When we inquired about the possibility of installing our new Nest Thermostat, he even recommended that we just call an HVAC professional who would probably charge us less!)

While we hope we don't have any electrical/wiring issues in the near future, we most certainly will call Ryan first if anything comes up!

Have to start by saying I rarely write reviews, but would highly recommend Hightlights for any electrical needs! I had the team out over the summer to correct previous electrical work from another company. They also got our pool equipment up and running. The chandelier pictured was just hung by Highlights yesterday and I couldn't be happier. Boz and team are extremely thorough, kind, and just a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond ensuring the fixture was secure, moving boxes/furniture, and even vacuumed up any mess when they were finished. It is rare to find a business with fair prices as well as this elevated level of service. So happy to have found Highlights and will continue to use them for any projects or electrical needs in the future!

We are in the process of tearing down a house we recently purchased, and hired Rogelio at Alex Electrical to cut the main electrical line from the pole to the house, as well as remove the cable lines, the electric meter, and the electric box in the house. Rogelio was extremely knowledgeable, very responsive, professional, and got the job done in less time than the estimate. He also mentioned that his company installs outlets, light fixtures, etc. We will definitely be hiring him again in the future for any electrical needs we have. Thank you, Rogelio.

Rodney and his team did a wonderful job painting our entire condo! The walls needed painting and caulking in some spots and now the walls look brand new. They were very clear about communication, responsive, and reliable. They also painted everything more quickly than expected, which was great! They covered all of our things nicely and I love how our walls look now! They are also covid-safe. I am so happy we went with them and would definitely hire them again for future painting needs.

Great prices, quick work, friendly guy. Called 4 other electricians and they all quoted me about $100-200 for the same job. Definitely recommend.

Neville was extremely responsive and quick with his assessment of my issues, he gave me a reasonable quote and when Johnny and Josh arrived, they were great - pleasant, kind and got the job done quickly and professionally. I not only WILL use them again, but I will recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician. They even fixed a dimmer switch that was incorrectly installed before they left, which was not what I hired them for - great people, excellent service and an overall stellar experience.

Needed two new light fixtures installed.  There was a mix up on schedule but they were able to send someone same day.  Issac did a great job and made sure everything back in place.

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

Had several small jobs I needed completed, two of which I was uncomfortable tackling myself.  Fixer was extremely responsive.  They had a higher base rate, but didn't charge for parking and materials they didn't end up having to use.  They ended up being cheaper than some of the other estimates.  Satisfied with the work of all jobs completed, if I had a note it would be to make sure all their repair people have booties or other acceptable alternatives to working indoors.  Bare feet or dirty boots are not really appreciated when all the work is indoors.
