Stefan is very responsive. I just used him to replace some blown breakers due to an overheating dryer. I reached out via Yelp and he responding on a Sunday no less! He said he could arrive on Wednesday and provided a flat fee quote vs hourly that could have turned into who knows what. He checked in with me the morning of and ended up coming 2 hours ahead of schedule after calling me to see if I would be available. Great service, clear quote upfront, and I didn't have to worry about him showing up! Highly recommend.

Amazing company. They've helped me 3 times in the past 2 years. Today, Darrell, the owner, came to fix my circuit breaker. He arrived quickly; 45 min after I called him as I had no electricity. He fixed it in 15 min and didn't even charge me. He is a so very helpful and a nice guy. The other electricians that have been here from Sims are also just as nice and reliable. I highly recommend these guys. It's hard to find reliable electricians and these guys are just that. Reasonably priced, come as soon as you need them, fair, knowledgeable and amazing. What a relief that I called them today. Thank you Darrell!

I had reached out on a neighborhood Facebook page looking for a recommendation and so glad I did! This company was so prompt and efficient with their work.  Marianne truly delivers exceptional customer service in the office. Her friendliness is a breath of fresh air when it comes to getting work done. They are very knowledgeable about pulling permits in the city and making sure work is up to code.  My only regret is we didn't know about them sooner! Fantastic local company!

I was looking for a reliable electrician who I could really trust since I'm in a 100 year old home and Ted was just that. We was able to squeeze me in because I was concerned with electricity being set up improperly by painters. He's quite pricey (charges hourly) but seems to know what he's doing

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. I have used Ryan for electrical projects at my home multiple times. The first time was for installing a doorbell in a troublesome spot and the second time was for adding additional outlets to key locations in my house. He is knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. He very much has a 'teach a man to fish' mentality, which I have appreciated.

He has consistently gotten the job done. I'll be using his services again in the future for sure!

These guys are amazing!  Super responsive and super kind.  They were efficient.  They explained the problem to me in a way that didn't make me feel stupid.  They walked me through ways to save on electric.  When the problem required buying something, they ran out and took care of it -- again, super efficient. Just great energy to have around your home.  I want these guys to become my go-to electricians.  I've worked with a lot of people in the past and I've been unhappy.  I'm super happy I've got a regular guy now!  

I HIGHLY recommend Highlights Chicago!  Won't go anywhere else.

Rogelio did a great job moving an outlet inside our kitchen island.

Jose and Rodney are great! We needed more electrical work than we thought, but Jose did not charge more than the original quoted price except for more equipment that was needed for some unforeseen problems that came up. Rodney did a great job painting and even did some minor covering of a small spot of ugly color on my walls. I will soon ask them to install some recessed lighting as they already explained the procedure. What a great team!

Needed a Tesla wall charger installed in our garage.  Jake showed up on time and offered a few different options with full explanation of each.

Once we agreed on scope and price he went to work.  You could tell he has installed a ton of these.   Job was completed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than when he started.  

Charger has been used daily for a few months now without issue.  Would recommend.

Neville, owner of Blacklite, does a tremendous job of communicating (via text, which is fine by me) with regard to gathering project information, setting timelines, expectations, etc. I had him and his team install overhead recessed lighting in three rooms, a fan in one, and lighting under my kitchen counter. They did excellent work! Even after the overhead lighting they installed were defective out of the box (from the lighting manufacturer), they replaced them free of charge several days later...amazing customer service! Lastly, I really got the feeling that Neville was an honest guy and always tried to do what was best for me. I would highly recommend Blacklite for an electrical job and will use them in future should I have a need!

We had a laundry list of items that needed some electrical attention in our home. We had multiple light fixtures to install, light switches to create, electrical outlets to create, and some re-wiring that needed to be done in our old bungalow home. We were able to have someone out within a week. Carlos was fantastic. He worked all day to address everything on our list, and we are very pleased with the quality. There are a few things that we didn't have time to get to, and I plan to have Kinetic energy out again to address the final few items. I thought the cost was reasonable for the amount and quality of the work that was done. Highly recommended!

I had 3 people come out for discussions on our project and Tom came up with great recommendations for outdoor installation of lights and fixed some landscaping spotlights. He was reliable, helped pick out products and did a great job.  I'd definitely recommend him and will use him for future projects.

Very responsive and responsible. Alex tried to help us trouble shoot over the phone to save us money. When that didn't work he showed up promptly, diagnosed the issue, and fixed the bad breaker.

Best pricing around and great young guy working hard for his business. Highly recommended.

$129 down the drain for less than an hour of work having nothing fixed than screwing a door knob back on. Everything else was above their pay grade(!! At $129 an hour!!)  or would need more time to fix (and btw instead of recommending a replace they would go at it for more hours and per a true professional their suggested solution not viable long term).  Not handy in any sense of the word.  Concept is great and convenient in theory. Dispatcher responsive but quality of technicians questionable.  Don't count on them fixing the simplest of things otherwise you will be disappointed.  Will never use again.  Avoid this type of service.  They're out to bill their hourly much like attorneys and accountants but with no work quality guarantee.  Do not leave your credit card on file as they will charge you automatically and you're in no position to handle a situation where they did not deliver.
