I had some wall lights at my house I wanted to remove, but I wasn't sure how to handle myself since they were hardwired. AC/DC Electrical handled my request in a timely manner (same week I reached out). Stefan was very kind and even ran to Home Depot to help me address a couple of other unforeseen issues with loose outlets. The service was also fairly priced and cost effective when compared to other quotes I got. I highly recommend hiring AC/DC for their services!

I love smart devices.  I installed (myself) a three-way switch and screwed it up......despite my best efforts I could not figure out how I screwed it up.... I called Sims and Sons and Anel and Darryl came out and fixed it in no time!  They didn't even give me grief!  They were great.  I'd use them again without a second thought!

We had some minor electrical work to be done. Everything was excellent, from booking the appointment to the work done by David. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.

Ted and his son are timely, patient and respectful.  I had purchased a wireless door bell that wasn't compatible but try they did to get it right, they will be kindly coming  back to put in my new purchase.  So glad I finally found an electrician that I can call on for any future electrical work.  I highly recommend Honey Do Home Electrical.

Joe put in a 220 line for me which someone else said would be a problem. Joe figured it out and had the job completed in 2 hours. I definitely recommend him.

So I just purchased a new home and having some circuit breaker issues. Found Chris on Yelp very nice guy. Very responsive. Came right out, Fix the issue under 15 minutes so I will definitely be calling him back out to finish the work, Definitely give Chris a call or give him a chance if you are having any type of issues with circuit breakers or electrical issues definitely recommend this business. Over the weekend a pretty rough storm came through and worked a number on my front porch light causing a short to occur and loss of electric through the entire upstairs of my home. After ruling out a blown fuse, immediately, I was concerned about the safety of my home and what costs might be associated with this type of repair.  But unfortunately, it was a Saturday and I knew it might be difficult to have someone come out right away without it costing me an arm and a leg.  After doing a search, I was lucky enough to have found Greenline Electric, Edward answered the phone, put my concerns at ease and within an hour was at my home, with an assistant, and ready to evaluate and take care of the issue. He was very upfront about the cost of the visit and gave me all available options at a fair price.  He and his team were knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful.    Once he addressed the safety issue, he had indicated he was going to come back early the following week to finish weatherproofing the front porch light, now that the safety issue had been addressed.  And just as promised, he reached out to me a few days later and came back to finish the job.  If you are in need of an electrician who will take the time to find and solve your issues at a reasonable price (even in stressful, emergency situations), check out Greenline Electric!

Ryan is kind of a genius of electrical stuff. He fixed my kitchen outlets (1/2 my house plugs didn't work) and added light fixtures.  I plan on hiring him again.

FYI: when my kitchen outlets weren't working, I had another well-rated company come here.  They quoted me $4500, and I'm still not sure if they actually figured out what was wrong.  Ryan came and fixed the issue for much less and way quicker.

Highlights Chicago is wonderful. From scheduling & initial plan thru end result the team did an amazing job.
Jimmy, Kaplan and Chris followed all COVID requirements (masks, social distancing,etc.) They were so knowledgeable, thorough & polite and you could tell they enjoy working together.
I am definitely going to hire them again for future electrical work.

Steer Clear. This is not a legitimate electrical company. Gave me an estimate and did the electrical work for an EV charger in our condo building. Even though building management didn't request City of Chicago license initially, they checked for it later (it can be asked for at any time) and this company is not licensed in the City of Chicago and its illegal to do residential work without it. The job was done completely wrong and he almost blew the sump pump and electrical to entire building by connecting to a panel inexplicably and was told not to. Installed wiring that was bent and broken and taped together which could have caused shocks and burning. New contractor easily installed it - no bends or breaks. The wall outlet installed was open and exposed, and if water dripped to it could electrocute people. Sloppy, cut corners, dangerous, illegal and not up to code. Absolute garbage, rushed work. Refused to get City of Chicago license and come fix job. We will be pursuing our money back. This is an illegitimate electrical company. Avoid at all costs.

Addendum to review:

Right, I'm not an electrician , but here are couple facts that a real electrician should have known and done, that found out about your job.

You were told by the building engineer to use the 480/277 volt panel because 208/120 was already at the capacity.

You just plainly ignored that and proceeded with your version. Maybe you don't know the difference between two.

You ran 208/ 120 wires through 480/277 panel which was a huge code violation and a human life safety issue.

And that's not all:

Then you spliced those wires inside that panel multiple times -- code violation.

You then decided to use lightning contractor conduit to run the wires and overfill that conduit -- code violation.

You installed the breaker at the wrong panel (which was at capacity) so you overloaded that panel.

The wire was badly scraped

You removed pipe straps and made the electrical conduit loose -- code violation.

J boxes that you installed were unsecured and loose with knock outs missing -- code violation

I'm still waiting on the city of Chicago electrical registration paperwork  from you.

A qualified electrician would know right away that he is working with 480/277 volts and would have informed me that i needed a step down transformer in order for the EV charger to work!

On top things you have charged me over $2K for 2 J boxes and a roll of #6 wire, which costs $600 at the most. The piping was already 97% there , so what took you so long.

It took a qualified electrician a total of 8 hours to remove the faulty work and install everything from scratch including installing the transformer.

We'll happily accept a refund to settle this matter

Needed a new light fixture hung in the kitchen. The guys were courteous, professional, and thorough. We plan on using them again soon.

Great prices, quick work, friendly guy. Called 4 other electricians and they all quoted me about $100-200 for the same job. Definitely recommend.

They canceled my appointment 10 minutes before showing up because the company didn't have a ladder. Wasted a lot of my time.

It's been hard to find a great electrician but Kinetic has been wonderful. I believe Doug helped us both time.  First time, what we thought would be expensive was not.  That was great news.  Second time, he fixed everything great.  Honest and great company to work with.

TOM Electric Services is an excellent company for electrical repairs. The electricians are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They provide great customer service and have always been able to answer questions, solve problems, and other issues with my electrical system. I highly recommend them!

Frank is very professional.  Showed up when he said he would, explained what he was doing, and even provided a lower price than what he first quoted.  I will definitely call him again for any electrical job.  Highly recommend!

Alex responded to my posting quickly, was clear on costs, and came out at 8am the following day as promised. I gave wrong information on parts and he was ready with solutions to salvage the job and gave great advice. Would definitely hire again.

I had two little jobs that had been hanging around my neck for several months. Finally, with a 30 person event happening at my house that night, I submitted a work request with Fixer at 8:00 on a Monday morning. In a little more than an hour, Edgar arrived. He fixed my light fixture in minutes and the rubber gasket on a toilet in a little bit longer.

He arrived 15 minutes earlier than expected. Worked efficiently and was out of my door in close to an hour. Worth every dollar in my book.
