I contacted Adam Hadib with A1-Services.  He answered his phone, no voicemail. He asked for photos of the work we needed done, then he sent me back his reasonable quote.

He was able to come out the next day to install our shower door. (He was booked up all week after Sunday).

He did a wonderful job! He was very personable; kind;considerate, & honest.

We will definitely call him again if needed.

Tim was awesome. He came and installed my smart switches. Very professional. And answered all my questions. I will definitely be reaching out to Tim in the near future for all my Electrical projects.

Mark came out and did a great job. On the last fixture, we identified a wiring fault and he had to schedule a follow-up. He called the office and - within minutes - the office called me to schedule the additional work.

Anyone who has had to add on extra days to a job knows how complicated that can sometimes get with billing. To be asked shows me that JD is concerned with having a positive outcome. Highly recommended.

I called him on a Friday night. He came on Saturday morning. My bathtub was stopped up. Great Job. Only thing was he didn't really use his credit card machine, so have cash or a check handy. Otherwise, I will call him again.

We used the wire my electrical for putting electrical boxes within our garage and re-wiring some heaters in an addition on our home. They were efficient, well priced in my opinion, and everything has been working great. I actually called them back after we had our new roof put on. For some reason our kitchen fuse was getting tripped and we just couldn't figure out why, it was so random. They did some investigating and noted that a new attic fan (on a sensor) was actually tripping the box. They got it all fixed and we've been happy ever since! I would definitely (and have already) recommended them to others.

Phil is a gem! We had scheduled with a different electrician, but somehow, wires got crossed. We are moving into a townhome that looks like it has some iffy electrical issues. When it looked like the original electricians were unable to come out to look at the issue in a timely fashion, I called VIP Electrical Services. I had little hope that we could schedule when I originally wanted because it was just 3 days away and he let me know he was really busy. But he scheduled me for first thing in the morning on the day that we needed!! Can't tell you how much I value a company going out of their way to accommodate a customer, especially when the mix up had nothing to do with them. I will give VIP my business any day of the week. I bought a new Tesla and chose to install a High Speed Charger in my home.
I was given Jamie Salerno's name at Newberry Electric from the Tesla people.
He was AWESOME!  I live in Naperville and had to get permits.  Naperville's utility at the time was very anxious about how much power the charger/ car would draw.  They insisted I install a new Electric meter.  I had to upgrade my electric service panel and run heavy duty electric lines to my garage.  They even made me pay a fee to upgrade the local electric transformer that was due to be replaced anyway because of age.

This took months waiting for the electric utility to give me a new electric meter and grant the permits.  Newberry stood with me every step of the way.  Jamie's work sailed thru the inspections which were more thorough than when I remodeled my basement.  Considering how nervous the electric utility was about high energy electric car chargers, I was happy to have a pro.  For those of you non Tesla electric car people, Tesla uses a proprietary car charger system that gives much more power and much faster charge than local public charging stations.  An eight hour charge at a public station can be done under 90 minutes at a Tesla high speed charging station.  

Needless to say, I'm happy with the work.  I've had no problems, no blown circuits and my house did not burn down.  My electric bill per month is less than what I spent on gas with my last car.  Jamie has done more work on my home unrelated to High Voltage circuits and I can't praise him enough.  He's fixed underground electric line to our outdoor pond and fixed a line in my kitchen that kept tripping our circuit breaker.  He quickly found the fault and fixed it at very reasonable price.  But the most beautiful work was the electric service panel and safety circuit breaker in the garage and outside.  I have an electrical engineer friend who came over to admire the work after Jamie was done.  He was impressed with the system install .... and the car.

I endorse Newberry's work and appreciate their professionalism.

I had trouble last night with my furnace shutting down.  I called Dave at Economy and he sent out a Technician Steve first thing in the morning.  He found the problem, fixed the problem, checked several other components, cleaned up as he went along.  He was very efficient, courteous, and knowledgable.  After testing the unit, and checking incoming and outgoing temperatures, he asked if I had any other problems or questions.  What more could you ask ?
This work was still covered under the 10 year warranty I was given when I purchased this unit from Economy.  ( 9-1/2 years later )   The first problem ever.

I cannot recommend Kohring Electric enough!  I have had some less than favorable experiences with several other electricians I contacted for my job (installing multiple new light fixtures and repairing an existing one), particularly when it came to reliability.  I contacted Kohring earlier this week and actually spoke to Mike on the first try.  I had some time constraints and he met them.  Moreover, he called when he said he would and he showed up prepared when he said he would which went a long way with me.  As far as his work - efficient, effective, tidy, high quality, professional, fully equipped, reasonably priced and, last but not least, very pleasant - everything and more that you could want from an electrician or any professional working in your home.  I would never use anyone but Kohring Electric going forward and will enthusiastically and confidently recommend him to family and friends.  He exceeded expectations and I am thrilled!  Thanks Mike and Kohring Electric!

We had Hugo Jr. come out to install an outlet in the middle of a random wall above a set of stairs.  Yes, I know this sounds insane and when Hugo saw the task at hand, he merely said, ok - let me grab some equipment from my truck.  Literally minutes later, it was done.  We were so impressed we actually had Luis put an outlet in a closet the same day.  Quick, efficient, and great guys.  Family run and they really make you feel like you are part of their family.

To Note: the work was done a year ago and we have had zero issue with either outlet.

We Conduit Electric has done various types electric work for my friends and family ranging from full build out of a house, residential generator to commercial space.  I built a home and We Conduit Electric did all the electrical work.  They did an amazing job while providing great customer service.  Not only did they complete the work timely but also the work was quality and provided some additional electrical ideas (If I were to build my house, I'd do...). It was easy working with these guys and would recommend them to all of my family and friends.

My family, friends and I have hired Don to help with all sorts of different tasks: plumbing, clean up, door lock repairs, he even hung a large picture on the hall above my stairs, which was really tricky to get at. He does it all! Very responsive, reasonable rates and Don is just a pleasure to work with.

Very rude. Choose to call this company BECAUSE of their 5 star reputation on Yelp and the woman who answered the phone said, we don't do residential  work. I asked if she has any recommendations and she hung up the phone on me. Don't call this company, they apparently don't need your money.

Would not recommend this company.  An employee came out to assess an electrical problem and created a more complicated situation.  The owner has not responded to my concerns.  His employee cut wiring and removed this material from my property.  Was told by the owner this would be returned.  No further communication.  The fact that they worsened this situation demonstrates their lack of accountability as professionals.  Beware.
