Best Electricians in Chicago, IL

I found Mark back in 2007.  I called 10 electricians to come do some work at my 100 year old electrical nightmare of a house in Wheaton.  He was the only one that wasn't scared off by the spaghetti factory of wiring that has plagued the house over the years.  Little by little we have been slowly correcting and upgrading the house.  I also use him for my house as well as my other rental property in Glen Ellyn too.  Honest and easy to work with.

I had tried and, evidently, failed to install a new chandelier in our dining room. When I tried to turn the power back on after installing, nothing worked. I emailed Lincoln Home Services and Eugene called me back. I had no idea what my problem was, I thought I may need to fix my circuit breaker. Within 10 minutes, Eugene diagnosed my problem and gave me an estimate. 90 minutes later, all problems were solved. Eugene was courteous and showed me how to avoid my mistakes in the future as he was fixing my mistakes from the past.

I used Pure Voltage to convert my electrical panel from fuses to circuit breakers, and to upgrade the electrical outlets in my home.  It was a big job, as it entailed relocating the electric meter and setting up new wiring.  They did an excellent and efficient job.  They were professional and personable, totally responsive to any concerns that I had. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would highly recommend their services.

So happy to have found a great electrician through Yelp!!  Greg is knowledgeable, professional and reasonable.   He installed a new GCFI outdoor outlet at our house that had to be fed to its own breaker.  I was working from home the day he did the work, and he did the work as quietly as possible with no interruptions once he was settled into the job.  He cleaned everything up when he was done, leaving everything as it was before he came.  We will definitely use him again for other electrical jobs!!

This electrical service company has extremely poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend proceeding with them.

They're technician cancelled the appointment and no accommodation was made in the service fee charge for a rescheduled appointment.

Their company was able to inconvenience me so I was without air conditioning and did not believe any accommodation should be made.
