Best Electricians in Chicago, IL

I found Mark back in 2007.  I called 10 electricians to come do some work at my 100 year old electrical nightmare of a house in Wheaton.  He was the only one that wasn't scared off by the spaghetti factory of wiring that has plagued the house over the years.  Little by little we have been slowly correcting and upgrading the house.  I also use him for my house as well as my other rental property in Glen Ellyn too.  Honest and easy to work with.

I used Lincoln Home Services to replace a ceiling fan and track lighting in a unit I own and have rented out and had a great experience.  Because I was not at the unit Eugene did a really great job of taking pics to show me what was wrong and keeping me up to date on what the charges would be.  He was also very specific on what would be most helpful to purchase as the replacements (i.e. getting a fan with a remote as well as a fan that was not flush on the ceiling) and even picked up a few things at electrical supply when I had trouble finding stuff online.  He was great, I am very happy with the work and the overall experience.

They replaced the hardware on the interior of my garbage cabinet. Great job.  The materials that I bought for this job were too small and they still made it work perfectly. Very careful workmen.

Greg had a very difficult job with our home. The electric system in our home was very antiquated, to give you an idea, 95% of our outlets were for two-pronged plugs. To add more trouble to the mix, the former owners had updated the kitchen 15 years ago and either used very shady contractors or did the electrical themselves. We had hardly enough electricity even coming into the house and had three rooms - all with major appliances - running on the same circuit.

Greg was able to double the amount of amps coming into the house, repair the kitchen outlets (which proved to be dangerous in the state they were in), ground the house, put three-pronged outlets throughout the first floor, and replaced many light fixtures. He did this all at a very fair price.

Greg was very dependable. He always came exactly when he said he would and was on time - even early! The jobs he did have been working wonderfully and we can sleep better knowing the shoddy wiring in our home won't burn the house down. I highly recommmend him to anyone looking for an electrician.

This electrical service company has extremely poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend proceeding with them.

They're technician cancelled the appointment and no accommodation was made in the service fee charge for a rescheduled appointment.

Their company was able to inconvenience me so I was without air conditioning and did not believe any accommodation should be made.
