After having a home inspection while in the process of selling our home, we learned that we needed to have some minor electrical work done.  I called Advantage Electric, and Mark agreed to meet me within the hour.  Just a few minutes later, our work was done!  I was very impressed with Mark's speed and work ethic.  Best electrician in the area!  We would highly recommend him and will definitely use him in the future.

I had tried and, evidently, failed to install a new chandelier in our dining room. When I tried to turn the power back on after installing, nothing worked. I emailed Lincoln Home Services and Eugene called me back. I had no idea what my problem was, I thought I may need to fix my circuit breaker. Within 10 minutes, Eugene diagnosed my problem and gave me an estimate. 90 minutes later, all problems were solved. Eugene was courteous and showed me how to avoid my mistakes in the future as he was fixing my mistakes from the past.

I used Pure Voltage to convert my electrical panel from fuses to circuit breakers, and to upgrade the electrical outlets in my home.  It was a big job, as it entailed relocating the electric meter and setting up new wiring.  They did an excellent and efficient job.  They were professional and personable, totally responsive to any concerns that I had. It was a pleasure to work with them and I would highly recommend their services.

Argen did an excellent job scraping and painting my exterior window trim.  The language barrier was a bit of a challenge at first.  (I thought the paint and supplies were included as they were in other estimates I received.  That was my fault for not asking, and it cost me.)  Once he was on the job and we switched to communicating strictly by text, there were no issues.  He has a great translator app.  Besides doing a great job, he alerted me to a potential future issue without upselling the job at hand.  He was very pleasant, polite and respectful at all times

I had a plumber come out and try to fix a booster pump for a condo. He claimed I had a heater and the booster pump on the same circuit and would have to split them up. He also claimed i'd have to run  a new 220v line as the line was only running 110v. Why would I think a plumber knew anything about electricity is beyond me.

I called Greg on Friday and he ACTUALLY CALLED BACK! This is a true rarity in Chicago. (I left 2 other 5 star places on yelp messages---that was 5 days ago and still have yet to hear anything)

Greg worked around my schedule and came out the following Monday. He opened the box and found the heater and booster pump were actually split on two different lines and the line was 220v. The thermostat was the issue. He ran to HD and picked up a new one and installed it within the hour. $150 for the hour, $27 for the thermostat. Simple job, but he explains what was wrong. I saw what he checked and was fast and efficient. Never felt cheated or slighted.

I'd call him again easily for any size job. I hope he continues this great service. Not many out there like him.

This electrical service company has extremely poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend proceeding with them.

They're technician cancelled the appointment and no accommodation was made in the service fee charge for a rescheduled appointment.

Their company was able to inconvenience me so I was without air conditioning and did not believe any accommodation should be made.
