Stefan did a great job in installing our chandeliers and doing small switch fixes. He explained the problems well wherever we had any complex issue, and gave offered good solutions as well.

I needed a couple things done. I had a GFI that kept breaking. AC/DC was prompt and replaced the GFI with a heavy duty one and voila no problems since!!
Additionally I wanted a smart doorbell installed and they did a fantastic job snaking the low voltage wire to get the electricity to the doorbell so you can't see it!!
I'm very pleased on both jobs!!
We had a GFCI outlet installed in our bathroom. Stefan was on time, professional, and did good work. Communication was easy.
It took a second try but Stefan identified and replaced my circuit breaker. He spoke with my warranty company to explain the issue. He identified another electrical
Issue regarding a transformer.

I put out my project for several quotes through Yelp, and I got a mixed bag of responses. Stefan was the ONLY contractor who didn't jerk me around.
When he came out to discuss the job, he had a plan, a schedule and I was very comfortable with his approach. Hired him on the spot... cancelled other contractor visits.
The work he did was top notch. He used proper materials, and even stayed late to get the job done. No shortcuts.
Cleaned up after himself even though it was a long day.
Can't say enough good things. Just call this guy.

Don't think twice, just hire AC/DC. Stefan provided the lowest quote and was able to come out the very next day. He was extremely prompt and communicative. We had an issue with the ladder being too short, but he found a ladder that would work, was back the very next day and got the job done. I could not be more pleased with his work, and will definitely call him again next time.
Responsive, prompt, knowledgeable expert. Plus competitive price. Stefan was all-around great to work with for our electric garage heater install. Definitely recommend to others.
I hired Stefan to install a 240v outlet in my garage, replace some faulty GFCI outlets and install a few smart switches. He was responsive, transparent and efficient. The 240v outlet required a breaker which wasn't readily available but he did the research and found it a distant home depot which added incremental hours to job. He continued to maintain a positive attitude throughout the process and finished the job during the same day.

All of the companies advertise 24 hour same day service and it's not true. Stefan is the exception to that. I was having smoke detector issues and he was able to come fix it two hours after I called. He was prompt and quick. He fixed the problem within 20 minutes. He was also super friendly and professional.

Stefan had the fastest response time and was available the next day. He fixed a ceiling fan, installed a new track light, and replaced to gfci outlets. He did in just 75 mins. He was a really nice guy and offered to throw the old fixture out for me.

Stefan was prompt from beginning to end. He responded in a timely manner to the initial inquiry for quotes on Yelp, and was timely in all follow up communications. He provided a fixed fee for the work.
He came on-time and rapidly assessed the work to be done (replacing under cabinet lights, replacing wall switch). He also provided an alert on a GFCI wall switch that was likely to fail in the near future. I happened to have a spare outlet, which he installed for no added cost. - saving me a future trip and inconvenience when the outlet failed.
He worked quickly and cleaned up the countertops (from dust when drilling) when he was finished. He explained the controls on each fixture, as well as noted that the dimmer switch causes a buzzing sound from the lights (Home Depot told me that this was the correct switch for the lights, turns out it is not - it works fine, there is just that buzzing sound).
Stefan was a pleasure to work with - I recommend his services.
Stephan was great from beginning to end of job. I had a last minute rush job to do in my upstairs. Stephan was quick to reply, reasonable with his estimate, communicative throughout the day. Job was done quick, professionally, and cleaned up afterward.
Moving to a new home in January, and Stephan will be my go to for our needs when they arise.

We bought an older property that needed a major electrical update and everything brought up to code. Stefan took his time and walked us through the entire process from start to finish. He was timely, polite, and very informative. His pricing was fair and fit our budget nicely. He was right on schedule and had everything done within a super convenient timeframe. We'll be sure to give him a call back for any of our future projects. I would highly recommend giving Stefan at AC/DC a call for any electrical needs!
Stefan was at my house less than 30 minutes after I contacted him, and had the whole issue figured out and fixed in under an hour. Highly recommended!
Our ceiling fan stopped working and it was quite a while before we could find anyone to complete the repair job.
I contacted Stephan and he responded quickly, was straight forward with his pricing and willing to take the job immediately. He arrived on time, got the job done and was very accommodating, polite and kind. Unfortunately that seems to be more of a rarity nowadays. What a refreshing transaction. I highly recommend AC/DC!

I had some wall lights at my house I wanted to remove, but I wasn't sure how to handle myself since they were hardwired. AC/DC Electrical handled my request in a timely manner (same week I reached out). Stefan was very kind and even ran to Home Depot to help me address a couple of other unforeseen issues with loose outlets. AC/DC provided quick response and quality work. He was honest when unable to finish the job but returned soon thereafter and finished a good job.
Very happy with AC/DC, Stephan, his work, follow up and pricing. We needed to update some old lights and failed wiring in our practice. First, we reached out to a number of electricians requesting estimates. Stephan was quick to respond and offered a convenient time to meet. His estimate was thorough, clear, and fair. He recommended a great solution and timetable. Within a short few days he was able to do the work in a timely, quick and professional way. He even did some touch up painting around the newly installed exterior lights. The job site was also cleaned and left in perfect condition. The job looked great except for one of the back security lights it seems that the inside wiring was faulty and did not provide power. Stephan was quick to follow up and came right out to find and fix the problem. We couldn't be happier or give a higher recommendation to Stephan and AC/DC Electric.
I had an issue last week where I had partial power in my apartment. Stefan was very responsive and was able to come the very next day. He arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. He walked me through options on what we could potentially do as a fix. In the end, he was able to fix the issue without it being a huge expense which was amazing and I was very thankful for. I am still going to consider a more long term fix that Stefan suggested, and would definitely use him for that work as well.

Wow, fast response, easy communication and great work. Replaced an old bathroom fan that to me seemed a little tricky to get old one out and new one to fit. Stefan did it in 45 minutes. Arrived on time, work quietly and quickly. Going to have him do a light fixture too. Thank you. Highly recommend him.
They arrived on time for the estimate, quickly assessed the installation I wanted them to do (EV Charging Station) and sent me a competitive estimate the same day. They were able to begin the work almost immediately, arrived on time, were respectful of our property and belongings, and were thorough, quiet, and professional throughout. They cleaned up after the work they performed and had an excellent work ethic.

I needed to have 2 lightings installed where none existed prior.
This required electrical wiring, and cutting of the walls etc.
Stefan responded promptly to my inquiry via Yelp, and asked to see the work to be done. He told me he needed to estimate the cost of materials required, and called me with the estimate the following day. I selected him because his price was below average, he provided prompt feedbacks, and was very respectful and organized.
I was not disappointed! He performed the work with such ease and cleaned up nicely. He even replaced the whitewall he removed... just waiting for a painter to do the final touches.
I was so happy that I referred him to my Mom as well.
Will use him again and again for my electrical works, and will refer him to anyone wanting a hassle free and near perfect finish!
I recently used AC/DC Electrical twice in the last couple of weeks for some routine electrical work (outlets not working, switches, etc.). Stefan promptly returned my call for a service request and we were able to get something on the calendars quickly. Stefan is very responsive. I just used him to replace some blown breakers due to an overheating dryer. I reached out via Yelp and he responding on a Sunday no less! He said he could arrive on Wednesday and provided a flat fee quote vs hourly that could have turned into who knows what. He checked in with me the morning of and ended up coming 2 hours ahead of schedule after calling me to see if I would be available. Great service, clear quote upfront, and I didn't have to worry about him showing up! Highly recommend.

Stefan helped fix some electrical wiring on my roof leading to my air conditioner. He responded promptly when I reached out one evening, was able to come the next morning (2 hours earlier than he'd originally estimated), and fixed the issue that day. Highly recommend!

He ran to the store to get the right items, completed the repair, gave me great advice on how to reduce my energy consumption, and charged the original flat fee he quoted. Stefan installed an EV charger outlet in my detached garage and I am very happy with the work he did. His first visit was to give an estimate and describe the work to be done. I thought his quote was very reasonable and decided to proceed. We scheduled a date and he came on time and again went through what he will do in detail. He answered all the questions I had and completed the work on time. He paid attention to detail when running a new conduit and made sure everything is working well before leaving. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends.
I really loved the work this company did. They were very smart, able to solve problems that came up, and did all the work perfectly. I love the way my place looks because of their expert installation. I will 100% be using them again.
I received a follow up call from Stefan today. I accepted the attempt to apologize even though he blamed the incident on a new employee. I don't believe he realizes that the cellphone # he called from was the same as Sunday and it was the same voice and tone used (minus the 4-letter words). He again offered to perform free work (which he stated on the previous review no one would ever offer such from AC/DC). I realize that the goal was not to offer a truthful apology but to ask me to remove my review. I explained that I will not remove my review because it was a truthful and accurate description of my encounter.
I understand times are hard. That is exactly why we all need to be honest with ourselves and kind to others. I will continue to wish your establishment well but I will not be contacting or recommending for any electrical needs.

Chose AC/DC based on Yelp reviews when we were looking to replace our kitchen cabinet puck lights with LED lighting and we're glad we did! Stefan was great - responded quickly to our inquiry, communicated well about scheduling the installation, quoted a price and job duration which were spot on, and showed up on time. He put in LED lighting similar to what was on his website (which is worth checking out to get a sense of options). He was professional, no-nonsense, and really easy to work with. We're likely to have other lighting and electrical needs for our condo and we will not hesitate to call on Stefan and AC/DC Electrical Construction.
Very responsive and was able to give me a quote and service my installation of my washer machine the same day! Team was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and wore masks as requested. Will definitely use them for future services!!!
We were warned by homeowner friends when we moved into our new home that a good electrician is hard to find. We didn't realize this until our power kept glitzing and turning off in the basement whenever we have space heaters on. Did a yelp search and got numerous quotes but Stefan's from AC/DC was the most reasonable. He came and assessed the problem, replaced burnt-out hazardous outlets and advised us to get baseboard heaters. He came back to install them and create a separate circuit breaker a week later. We are very happy with the work he's done, and we didn't lose an arm and a leg with the price he charged. Yes! We found a good electrician. He's definitely a keeper.

A+ work on my condo! We had some wiring issues and our lights in our kitchen would never turn on fully. We reached out to AC/DC and they responded in a timely manner and were also very friendly. You can tell they are trying to save you money, while fixing the issues and aren't like companies that are just looking for a quick buck. They fixed our kitchen wiring and now I can see while I'm cooking again! They also looked at a few things in the bathroom while they were here and were looking forward to having them come back. Stefan was fantastic from start to finish. What impressed me most is his attention to communication. Whenever I had a question about the work to be done prior to his arrival, he responded by text within 2 minutes. I never felt left in the dark. As he was completing the work, which was not straightforward and resulted in a need to change course, he was exuded confidence that everything would work out. There was no whining or complaining. Showed up on time, worked hard and fast, charged me a fixed rate, and when a wrinkle emerged (turns out the job needed to run a new wire/breaker), Stefan called a colleague who lives nearby who joined him and got it done quickly and efficiently. He stayed masked throughout, and was unfailingly polite. Will most definitely work with them again!
We were looking to replace outside wiring for our backyard lights. Stefan was very responsive via the Yelp website and over the phone. We had been in contact on a Tuesday, and he was able to come that following Saturday (he was available to come sooner, but Saturday worked better for my schedule). He was able to provide an estimate over the phone after I sent him a couple photos explaining what would need to be done. Very knowledgeable and thorough. We had decided on a 10AM start time, and he actually arrived a few minutes earlier! He arrived wearing a mask, which is much appreciated during this time. He was very communicative and professional the whole time. Our setup is very old and had never been serviced, therefore hadn't been working for a number of years. Stefan was able to install/update new wiring and lights and everything works perfectly! He also followed-up a few days later to make sure everything was working ok, which again is much appreciated! Would definitely recommend him and will call him for any future projects!

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Stefan and the work he does. 100% WOULD RECOMMEND! We recently moved into a new home in the Lakeview area and needed quite a bit of electrical work done - moving a chandelier (in our main living/dining area) and several other fixtures (both inside and outside) as well as pulling a new 220V line to our roof deck. Given the chandelier was located in such a central area, I was nervous to work with someone whose craftmanship I had not seen before - but it was pristine! You would never know the ceiling was cut into and the fixture moved several feet because Stefan is so talented. Additionally, Stefan made a late-night house call for us to fix an issue we had with an appliance on our roof and stayed until the issue was completed, even in the dark and freezing cold, just to make sure the issue was truly fixed and we weren't left in a bind. He's a great guy to work with, is very prompt/easy to schedule, and I'd trust him with any job! We've referred him to several of our neighbors and they all have had excellent experiences as well.
