Look no further if you want an HONEST and EXPERIENCED electrician. During the extreme cold (yes, the one when where it was colder here than in Antarctica) our power went out for a few hours and as a result, several of my circuit breakers did not respond. I have the outdated push-in on/off circuit breakers. Howard told me that these types of circuit breakers are no longer manufactured, but he has a collection of good ones of the type I needed that he had collected over his many years of EXPERIENCES. Here's the HONESTY/KNOWLEDGEABLE part--another not-so-honest or not-as-aware electrician could have told me that because my type of circuit breaker are no longer manufactured I would need to install an entirely new circuit breaker box. Think thousands!!!  He also fixed a ballast  that I thought needed to be replaced. Again, HONESTY and EXPERIENCE. Howard explained I had to have both fluorescent bulbs in place for the fixture to function properly. I only had one in that constantly flickered Of course, he had the exact bulb size I needed (also hard to find). Upon completion, I felt Howard's bill was quite reasonable and all systems are go! [He is also an aficionado repairing and restoring very old cars. :-) ]

just had north shore electric fix a light switch outlet that wasn't working and looked like a fire hazard. The electrician was very knowledgeable and reasonable for the work he did. 5 stars isn't enough to say how satisfied we are.

We hired Goran to correct some code violations in my mom's older home, replacing outlets with 3-prong and GFCI and adding some additional outlets in the garage. The same day I called he came and did a free estimate. His work was quick and efficient and he did not charge more than his original estimate even though I had under counted the number of outlets that needed replacing. He is easy to work with and we thought his work was excellent. We are going to need more work done and will definitely be calling him. You will not go wrong by hiring Goran.

Norh R is great! He is friendly and very patient with questions. I would have asked him over half a dozen questions on his first visit on various projects I needed for my house. He helped me wire a secondary internet service at home and install a chandelier and will be my go to for any electrical work at home. He provides very practical solutions and alternatives that you should not even consider for projects at home. I found him very reasonably priced and pleasant to work with.

We have a new go-to electrician. Mike is extremely responsive and detailed in his communications. He agreed to help install a new light switch for my elderly aunts. (It turns out, they are neighbors!) Unbeknownst to me, a caregiver fixed the light before Mike even got there for the appointment. Instead of being annoyed, he double-checked the work and made a change to make sure it was safe. He did not take any money from my aunts, and instead gave them a card and reassured them if they had questions or problems, they could call him. Kind, honest, conscientious and detail-oriented. So glad I found Marcin. He has been my go- to electrician for many years now. He is prompt in responding to  requests for various electrical work at my home.  Always on time for appointments  and even contacts me if he will be able arrive earlier than our scheduled time.  Great work at reasonable prices.  Neat, clean never leaves anything for me to clean up when the job is done. Very knowledgeable and takes time to explain how he will be doing the job.  
I have referred Marcin to my daughter and son-in-law and also a couple of my friends. They were glad I did!

Penco Electric is fantastic.  We needed a whole home generator and we are so glad we chose them to install it.  We got multiple bids and they were the most competitive in addition to their exceptional customer service.  The installation was excellent and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done at 110%.  During installation there were a couple minor issues, due to my house and no fault of theirs, and they went out of their way to make sure everything was done correctly even though it cost them some additional time and expense.  I would highly recommend Pence Electric for anyone who needs a generator or generator service.

This guy took really good care of an outlet in my kitchen - very professional and informational.

We made an appointment for an estimate and nobody showed up. I called and only received voicemail and nobody returned my calls. Based upon other more positive reviews, I was disappointed in the unprofessional treatment.

I've used their services twice in the last 5 years.  They are friendly, give you a reasonable quote and time frame.  They do their work quickly and clean up after themselves. You couldn't deal with more professional people who also are just nice people.  I highly recommend them
