I  called Howard based on his excellent reviews. He lived up to his reputation. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I have an older industrial building that needed to be brought up to code by rewiring 3 existing hanging light fixtures and installing bathroom fans. He furnished and installed 8 additional eight foot two-tube florescent fixtures as per estimate. We added 4 new exit signs that were not on the estimate and he installed them with no problem. His work was neat and organized and all was cleaned up at the end of the job. I would use him again and highly recommend him.

I had North Shore Electric replace 5 outside lights, repair a wall light and install a Cable TV cable outlet in the wall of my 100 year old house and they did an outstanding job.  

Michael came on time and provided professional and knowledgeable service.  He saved me time and money with good recommendations and he completed all the work and cleaned all work areas in just 2 hours.

We have a new go-to electrician. Mike is extremely responsive and detailed in his communications. He agreed to help install a new light switch for my elderly aunts. (It turns out, they are neighbors!) Unbeknownst to me, a caregiver fixed the light before Mike even got there for the appointment. Instead of being annoyed, he double-checked the work and made a change to make sure it was safe. He did not take any money from my aunts, and instead gave them a card and reassured them if they had questions or problems, they could call him. Kind, honest, conscientious and detail-oriented. Thank you, Mike!!

I found this company via Home Advisor.  Marien contacted me right away and was able to squeeze me the next morning.  
Marien came and looked at our issue.  He couldn't find what our Home Depot installer diagnosed, but he was able to install a switch for our dishwasher to cut the currant so that the installer can be satisfied that there is a switch to cut the currant.  The nice part is that we are up to code now too.  The work was done well and quicker than estimated, and the price was fair.  Marien also was able to add a outlet to our furnace switch as a courtesy.  I would use him next time we have any electrical work.

Penco Electric is wonderful!  They installed and now maintain my whole house, back up Generator.  I called for three estimates and by far the most knowledgable and professional was the team at Penco.  Everyone I dealt with
were professional and wanted me happy.  Marion handled setting up my order and explained the process thoroughly.  When my generator arrived I dealt with Justin .   THE FOLLOW UP WAS GREAT.   I bought the generator as insurance having this team with the Generator, I feel very secure.

I couldn't have asked for more professional and experienced handymen. I want to thank Chris for being so patient with me attentive to the help I needed in my condo and such clean and precise work. I was able to come home to my mirrors hung perfectly, my TV hung and set. For someone like me who's not so tech savvy that was a dream to come true. It's a hard these days to find someone reliable to come on time as they were as scheduled and to do the work as requested I would definitely come back here and have them do anything else that I need done in my place I would recommend them to everyone I know and that's why I'm writing this yelp review so again thank you.

Sam came to my home to add a 220 line for a hot tub I had installed.  the work was impeccable and he took the time to explain things, did my special requests, and even came back to hook up the hot tub after they delivered it as part of my job. he is very reasonable and quick to respond.

Not happy at all with the service.  Tech came out and inflated the problems I was asking him to fix. charged over $300 for a short inspection plus $49 service call.  Emailed a ridiculous proposal for work. When I called to ask about it he came back and no solution was agreed upon. I asked if he job could be done a little cheaper and they never called back to discuss. Forget it.

I live in a very old apartment building (about 125 yrs old) and I was in need of getting two closet lights fixed.  I found Dosie Electric here on Yelp (who was nearby my residence) and called to request help.  Mr. Dosie explained his pricing and set up a date to come out.  This man is very prompt and very professional.  He had to get some parts for the job and was able to come back the next day and was able to use my existing fixtures which saved me money.  He will not sell you what you don't need...he does only what is necessary and it's very important to me because we know how expensive an electrician can be.  It's wonderful to have somebody who is old school and won't try to rip you off. His prices are VERY reasonable and I cannot say enough about Mr. Dosie.....I will definitely keep him in mind if I have any other electrical work that needs to be done.  I highly recommend him!

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this company. Tom was incredibly responsive and had his team on the job the same day I contacted them...a real blessing after all the problems I have had with my contractor. They did an exceptional job and were a joy to have in my home...even my cat loved them! They were professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. I will definitely have them back and I would recommend them to anyone.
