Outstanding service and a truly reputable guy! My family is relatively new to Evanston and needed some outdoor porch lighting. During my online search I noticed Howard Simons Electrical and the good words people were saying. Following my experience with Howard I have to agree with them. Howard knows his trade and offered suggestions throughout. The final product (lighting above my back door and flood lights into the yard) was fantastic. He came out to view the project, then we set a date for the job in which he arrived on time and finished on time. The details were handled quite well and his price was very reasonable. If you're looking for some electrical work, Howard is your guy. I highly recommend him!

I am a huge fan of Small Tyme Electric. I manage a few properties throughout Chicago and I have used them every time i needed anything done. Wether it's some minor updates or a complete remodel. Norh Is an amazing person. Such a pleasure to work with. I always have the worst luck when it comes to contractors so when I find a good one I hold on and don't let go. I'm willing to share with you as I want to keep him working for years to come so he's always there when I need him!

Adrian Electric is great and we highly recommend them. Frank is by far one of the most professional, knowledgeable, and courteous professionals I have done business with in the home services sector. He installed complicated lighting for us and did a tremendous job. We will definitely be using Adrian electric for all our electrical needs in the future.

Apparently Nelson Electronics does not do Business in the City of Chicago. I did not see the exclusion in the ad. I was hoping that we could do business.

Mike was able to help me over the phone fix a track lighting system that had a transformer that tripped. Cannot say enough great things about Mike and his responsiveness! Not to mention my lights are back to working and it didn't cost me anything. Highly Recommend!

Honest. Good in Troubleshooting.

He corrected the ground and open neutral on multiple sockets. Then installed self grounded GFCI outlets on all.

I got the parts in advance, replaced some 10 outlets and added wall plates on my own. The remaining 20 outlets are rusted, and some even broke when i tried to remove it. So i hired the electrician.

I purchased plenty of outlets and confirmed that they are the right ones prior to appointment. The wall plates, i installed them myself once the electrician installed the sockets.

Twice Penco has been able to come out the same day to help us with electrical problems. The first time we had no power after a winter storm and called about 5 electricians before finding Penco who was available to help us that day. They sent a manager over very quickly to assess the damage and then an electrician later that day to do the repairs. We asked about the hours charged on the invoice and they corrected it right away. Very friendly and professional service in the office and in the field.

Chris was responsive in coming out to review and provided a quote in a timely manner for painting most of the interior of our home. They painted everything (ceilings, walls, and trim) for most of our living area. They also completed numerous repairs to drywall and replaced some lights. I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely the best electricians my family has ever used. Carlos Sr. and Jr. came to our aid like electric genies when our garage lost its electrical power. Seems our landscaper accidentally diced it when planting a tree. They spent about six hour replacing the line and enclosed it in metal. They did this as a precaution for future overzealous  shovelers.   They also replanted my plants after they were done. Was so thrilled at the end of the day, I hired them to do another job. A week later, I have new recessed lights in my basement ceiling. Excellent work, did exactly as was discussed. Fairly priced, honest, and reliable. Guess I must have won the  best electrical contractor lottery!

We called for an electrical short that kept setting off the circuit breaker. After 4 days of dealing with another company that had a different story everyday. We called Sam and he solved our problem in a couple of hours for a reasonable price.
He knows his electricity very well.
I would recommend him for any electrical work needed.
He is now our go to guy.

Eddie with Mighty came to the rescue on a recent project I installed (I am a designer). My scheduled electrician was a no-show and the install almost didn't happen. I was frantic. I spoke to Jennifer on the phone who was amazing and got me in touch with Eddie within minutes. An hour later, Eddie arrived and got started on the fixtures. Not only was Mighty quick to respond but the work was flawless. Eddie is extremely knowledgable and a quick/resourceful thinker. As a designer, these qualities are priceless. I'm looking forward to working with Eddie & Mighty again soon!

Mr. Dosie came out to a rental unit within 15 minutes of my phone call.  Upon arrival at the unit he called me to state that he was starting work.  Upon finishing, he called and explained the issue in detail, answering all of my questions.  Mr. Dosie was incredibly professional, and reasonably priced compared to other electricians I've used in the area.  He took my credit card information over the phone, and emailed me a receipt.  I highly recommend using Dosie Electric Service.

Very fair pricing and prompt, efficient service.  The owner, Tom Peck, is great to deal with.  He does a great job in a fast and efficient manner.
