Best Electricians in Chicago, IL

I woke up to half my house having no power. I called ComEd and a couple of electricians to see what I should do. Patrick called me right back and gave me a lot of advice to make sure he would not need to come out needlessly and cost me more money. I did ask him to come, and he did a great job getting the power back running. I would definitely hire Patrick again.

Wally, the owner of upgrade electric is one of the rare, reputable, reliable and decent electricians out there. Okay, maybe I'm being too hard on the industry, but it's hard to find honest and reliable plumbers, electricians, & contractors, IMHO, and Wally and Upgrade Electric are definitely a rare good option. We've worked with them on two houses we've owned in the last 10 years and Wally has done work for my in-laws prior to that - and it's always been good work.

John is very knowlegable in his field, we had him upgrade all the electric in our old house, no more replacing fuses!! Yes fuses, it was time. Thank you John. D

We needed to have a 52-inch fan installed on a 17-foot ceiling.  I called 5 electricians that had been recommended by the place from where we purchased the fan (Menards). Three of the 5 quoted prices $400 and up.  One wouldn't take the job because he didn't have ladders tall enough.  But Jeff Schimanski charged significantly less than the others. He took the old fan down and installed the new one, and he did a great job.  I highly recommend Jeff!

He was a great electrician! He is no longer in business but I sure wish he were. I miss this business!

Great reliable service. We had recently sold our home and needed some work done to the wiring in the garage and the electrical outlets in the kitchen needed to be replaced. Luis came out and gave me a estimate and the job was done the next day. Very pleased with their workmanship and knowledge. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing electrical work done.

We utilized Alex and Loren for our large basement finishing project and couldn't be happier. We had approx 1,000 sq feet of unfinished basement space and needed framing, plumbing (added a new bathroom with shower), electrical, hvac, doors hung, and drywall with finishing. He showed up on time every day and maintained excellent communication throughout our project duration. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. It seems he is a perfectionist by nature, always looking at the little details. He cleaned up after himself and was very cooperative on last minute job requests. I've used Bob and his guys for the last 2 years of my ongoing home renovation. They are professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy and the service level is great. I chose them because my previous electrician was failing to get back to me and I have not looked back.

I got Mr Dragovic's  company name and number along with a few other referrals  from Menards. I'm  ery glad I picked him.

A small metal ruler accidentally fell onto  the power strip surge protector just as I was unplugging my cell charger in the wee hours of the morning. Sparks flew out of the surge protector and the metal ruler melted in 2 places. The surge protector had burn marks too.

I was thankful I wasnt injured. My power went off everywhere. I was really scared and the next day had a neighbor fiddle around with the circuit breaker. They couldn't figure it out.
I had no idea what was damaged or how bad the problem was going to be. I was worried about the state of my expensive TV and my electric recliner chair...

Mr. Dragovic answered my phone call right away. He actual tried to help me over the phone to see if I could fix my own circuit breaker problem and to save me the cost of the service call.
Some people I think may not have tried to help me on the phone.
I was so upset and worried  at that moment  I just wanted him to come over.  

He made it to my place in less than 30 minutes. I was surprised he was able to come over pretty quickly the same day, late monday afternoon.
I was thinking I would have to wait until the next day to get any service!

He was wore a mask. He was very pleasant, personable and professional- as well as knowledgable.

He was right, there was a little sequence that needed to be performed in a certain way in  the circuit breaker and it was not obvious.  It was a little tricky.  
(Perhaps if I had been calmer and  in a better state of mind, he might have been able to  help me on the phone. I think it is commendable that he wanted to try to help me without having a service call!)

He looked at the circuit box and  got the power on right away, very quickly. He showed me exactly what to do if it ever happened again.

He didnt try to replace anything that didnt need repairing just to take advantage of the situation. (Being female and pretty unfamiliar with electric work he could have replaced the whole circuit breaker and charged me whatever...
I was prepared for the worst...)

He was a good guy and was very honest.
I will definitely use his services if I need an electrician for anything in the future.

It was refreshing to have a service person of any type who was honest and caring.

Sebastian was awesome!  He responded quickly to my request for a quote and I was able to book an appointment time that worked for me.  I have some renovation experience, but I do not like to tackle complex electrical items.  I had him update several of my outlets and eliminate some extra switches.  I had my own materials, but during the service call he noticed I did not have the right switch.  While he was fixing the other outlets I ran to the hardware store and picked up the right switch.  Other contractors would have went to the store and charged me for the trip, hours and upcharge for the parts.  Everything was repaired to my satisfaction and Sebastian left my condo clean.  Their price was slightly higher than the other quotes I had, but it was well worth it.   I recommend!

Fast response, very reasonable pricing, and same day service!
Did a great job installing our new chandelier, took the time to test it and cleaned up the area.

Game me something different from what it was quoted and agreed upon, left a mess and damaged my walls saying doing that is standard... Stay away or you will be disappointed.
