Noel came recommended through a colleague that couldn't start our job. Noel and his team did a great job installing new light fixtures ordered online and removing old fixtures and outdated ceiling fans. All of my communications with him were over the phone and text messages since we were unable to be there in person. We live in an uptown co-op with a very strict contractor policy which Noel was able to coordinate and navigate with. I would recommend this company and use them again for future electrician needs.

Called to have a line run for our new pool. Mike was prompt, thorough, and his estimate was totally reasonable for the amount of work that his team had to do. With my many schedule changes he was super flexible throughout the whole process.

When can anyone say that a contractor was an absolute delight to work with!  I can, so much work to do in my money pit but at least I know I have an electrician going forward!

We needed an electrical panel upgrade after blowing a fuse in our old one which was a Pushmatic. I've never seen or heard of it before, but Victor knew exactly what needed to be done to bring our home up to today's standards. He explained what he was working on everyday and provided pics/vids which was greatly appreciated. Victor is a responsive, reliable, and knowledgeable professional. We look forward to working with Victor on future projects.

Every business should operate like this.  Peter was friendly and attentive, and was able to schedule guys to come out the very next day.  The electricians he sent went to work immediately, and were done with the job in only 45 minutes.  They were the definition of professional.  I can't recommend them enough.

It's been such a long time since since I hired Aardvark to do a bunch of work such as hanging a new dining fixture rewiring a light switch that was turning on a light in another room! They put in new outlets, a bathroom fixture, many ceiling lights in just about all the rooms, and put in an outlet for a new TV so no wires were visible. They were very friendly and obviously loyal to their employer Frank as they turned me down for a side job (not their usual  electrical work) unless Frank, the owner, said it was okay, and he did!
I have no hesitation in recommending them...They're great!

We had Current Electrical do a fair amount of work on our house recently, including can lighting, fan boxes, lighting controls throughout the house, and work on our kitchen.  It was (for us) a large project, but everyone who worked on the project was professional, flexible, affable, and good communicators.  The work was done neatly and well!  All the electricians who did work there were excellent, but I have to specifically single out for praise Bobby and Julian who did the lion's share of the work, for their attention to detail, great communication, and flexibility.  I highly recommend this company!

EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!!! I was desperately for an electrician to come and service our company for what we thought was an electrical outlet issue.  They were at our location within 20 minutes. They were able to assess the problem, provide a solution and provide immaculate service.  Skyline Electric has become our go to electrician.

We have a 1930s house with 1930s plumbing and our bathtub wasn't draining properly. The problem was that the previous owners of the house hadn't bothered to maintain the pipes in so long, the trap had rusted itself shut. Jose did a fantastic job in fixing the issue. He was also great about answering any question I had. Their prices are fair and I greatly appreciate that they list out everything that comes with that pricing. I will definitely be using them again for anything that comes up.

We needed our old smoke detector fixed. Volodymyr was quick, straightforward, and professional. He also replied to messages within a reasonable time frame. Highly recommend!

I had major issues with half of my electricity going in and out for the last few months.  Two electricians came by and told me I needed a new box, to move the box, and to bury my lines, with a total cost of $10-15K.  A last minute look on yelp, and I called LMV.  He came that day, and told me it was an issue that the Village would probably be able to fix, for free.  He was right.  I will call him back, next time I need something.  Honesty is hard to come by these days.

This is a great company to work with.  The technician was, friendly, informative and did a tremendous job.  Not only did he complete the project but managed to point out a situation which may have caused major damage in the future.  He explained options to me and we discussed which would be the best.    I would easily refer Hardt to anyone and will definitely use again.

I would not trust or recommend any other company than RED Electric. I was so lucky they were referred to me. Ed and his team are truly fantastic, professional and provided super high quality work. I had my entire house (1939 Georgian) rewired and upgraded to a 200 amp panel, plus they removed a ton of old low-voltage wires. It was about 3 weeks worth of work total and lots of holes in the walls but totally worth it  to have a safe, newly wired home. Emilio was the main technician at my house. He was so nice and friendly and professional. Not only did he do great work, he helped me practice my spanish and my skills improved dramatically while he was here. Even the inspector who came over knew of Ed and his team and said he has one of the best electric companies out there and is highly respected.  So do yourself a favor, just go with Ed and his team, don't bother with anyone else.

Called AM&L to repair some exposed wires in my garage but they are too busy with other jobs to do the work at all ever.

As I type this review, a crew from Alternating Currents is in the middle of a big job on my 1947-built brick ranch with plaster walls. They're updating our panel from 100 amp service to 200 (w/power surge protection), adding a dozen or so much-needed outlets throughout the house, putting ceiling lights in our living room, installing a new fancy exhaust fan with heater in a chilly basement bathroom, and creating the necessary additional circuits to distribute the power accordingly. Today is Day Three of this endeavor. The crew is taking great care to keep the cuts and dust to a minimum, but it's a messy project. The crew leaders have been listening and responding to our needs, advising us every step of the way. They're notifying us and getting approval before making any cuts into the walls and ceilings. While we've taken steps to move many belongings out to the garage, they are deftly working around our stuff. And they've been very patient with our overly-curious and somewhat protective mutt. Since the job is still in progress, I'll follow up with additional info. at later date.
