Wow! We are so happy with our experience with Tweaks & Finishes.  Jose and Rodney were excellent communicators from start to finish. They listened to what we were hoping to achieve, gave their suggestions, worked speedily but with great precision, and made our place look fantastic!

We had everything from electrical to painting done in our condo, and it all looks and works spectacular. We will definitely be using their services again and HIGHLY recommend them!

I reached out for some quotes on replacing an outdoor outlet on Sunday- not only was Jose super responsive, he got me scheduled for the next day! He quoted me a price that he stuck to. He and his partner Rodney are friendly, courteous, conscientious and got the job done in under 30 minutes. They were respectful of my time which I appreciate. I'm happy to have this company in my phone for any future jobs. Highly recommend!!

Rodney and his team did a wonderful job painting our entire condo! The walls needed painting and caulking in some spots and now the walls look brand new. They were very clear about communication, responsive, and reliable. They also painted everything more quickly than expected, which was great! They covered all of our things nicely and I love how our walls look now! They are also covid-safe. I am so happy we went with them and would definitely hire them again for future painting needs.

Overall great experience with Jose the owner.  I am an active duty Solider currently not in the Chicagoland area and Jose was able to assist with a dry wall repair in my ceiling.  He updated me through the process was ok with communication via text and phone.  This process was super easy especially considering I was not present on site.  I highly recommend them.

I wanted to give a big thanks to Jose and Rodney for the fantastic job they did in our home! We had an entire room needing new recessed lighting where there was none before. They got the job done in a timely fashion and the result is beautiful. We also had sconces put in a wall which never had fixtures there before. Several other electricians quoted a similar price as Tweaks and Finishes, but would not do the patch and paint work for the damages done in the process; they said I would have to hire someone else to patch the holes in the wall! Jose and Rodney did it all, from installation, to patching and painting, from start to finish. No one else that I spoke to offered this complete service! These guys are a great team and are great at what they do.

I highly recommend Tweaks and Finishes for any job, big or small, and will be happy to work with them in the future!

Jose from Tweaks & Finishes was very quick to reply to communications and then to submit his bid.

He priced the job very competitively, scheduled it for later that day, arrived a few minutes early.

He unpacked and installed the fixture correctly, carefully, and even requested my confirmation of approval (placement, pendant light height, etc.) at each step.

He worked cleanly, fast, was 100% competent, and very friendly the whole time.

No surprises or disappointments.

Fantastic guys. Knowledgeable and experienced. Upfront pricing unlike when I reached out to Jiffy (an online service provider). On-time and was totally professional and I absolutely love my installed dining room light. I will be using them when I move into my new home.

Jose and Rodney are great! We needed more electrical work than we thought, but Jose did not charge more than the original quoted price except for more equipment that was needed for some unforeseen problems that came up. Rodney did a great job painting and even did some minor covering of a small spot of ugly color on my walls. I will soon ask them to install some recessed lighting as they already explained the procedure. What a great team!

High quality work for a great price. Very impressed and will be hiring them for more work in the future. They hung a chandelier in my house with very high ceilings and it looks great.

They did an awesome job with a painting project at my townhouse! The painting looks great, and they were very reliable and pleasant to work with! We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. Jose was very quick to respond to me, provided a quote before he came so I knew what to expect, and was flexible when I wanted to add on tasks when they arrived. They fixed up our walls afterwards and worked very hard to keep things easy for us to paint. They were also very conscious to social distance when they came. I highly recommend their work, so glad that we got these items done finally!

Very happy with the work Tweaks & Finishes did. We've used them multiple times to hang lamps, switch out fixtures, and switch out switches. They were easy to get a hold of, easy to schedule, and kept us informed of what they were doing as they were doing it. They made some recommendations for our fixtures and switches to work more efficiently. They completed the work quickly and professionally. Will continue to use them for any electrical work.

These guys are great! They were referred to us and they are great for all kinds of jobs. We originally used them for various electrical work such as changing and updating electrical boxes, to light fixtures, to moving, replacing and rerouting outlets and switches. We were looking to knock out a wall in our kitchen and we had called them for the electrical part of it and turns out they were able to do the carpentry work as well!!  We had them come and see the space and they were very respectful of our belongings. Covered everything super nicely and helped us move some of the things they were afraid could possibly get damaged. Very trust worthy, we left them alone in our home for 90% of the project, and they cleaned up after every time they came. They did a nice job painting the living room as well and all for a great price!! I would definitely recommend them!!

Rodney and Jose are a great team. The removed a light fixture from a closet header, completed the demo of closet header and moved a slight switch. And then patched the drywall and prepped for paint. So great this duo can complete both the electrical and the drywall repair. Wrapped in one day.

Jose and Rodney were amazing! I had them paint all the common areas in my new condo and it looks fantastic! They were both very nice and incredibly professional, getting to work right away. They'd given me an initial estimate that was a very fair price and that was exactly what I paid on the day. Really zero complaints and I will definitely be contacting them if I need anything in the future.

Jose and Rodney were absolutely great to work with. Not only did they do an amazing job, but it was all for a great price. They were tasked with replacing our track lighting with recessed lights, as well as, patching any holes and repainting our entire ceiling. We are beyond satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone who needed any sort of electrical or painting work done.

Needed a new light fixture hung in the kitchen. The guys were courteous, professional, and thorough. We plan on using them again soon.

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project.
