Red Mountain Renewal

Tom and his team just completed a second round of renovations on our 1949 home. Back in 2013, Tom and Red Mountain Renewal installed new windows in the house, including closing up a window wall and creating one long, high window. They also redid our entire bath, put on a new roof, and built a garage.

Over the last month we had Red Mountain Renewal back. This time we added 3 more windows (on 3 left to change out) including closing up a sliding door we never used and putting in a big window, plus closing up 2 other windows and putting in smaller, energy efficient windows we can actually open.

Tom also closed up the half bath door on one wall and put up a different door, created a closet, helped us install our kitchen cabinets, did some fascia board repairs, changed the hot water heater, and guided us on doing a few repairs ourselves.

Next year we have plans to create an addition to our home and will be using Red Mountain Renewal to do the work for us.

I found this company based on reviews in a Facebook group and wow - they did not disappoint! Our consultation was me saying I really need some sort of door to close off the home office now that I work from home. I would like an accent wall with squares that somehow ties in with the door... and I would love some sort of media console with storage to hide baby toys. That's it. That's all I gave Brooks and Jeremy to work with. They were super communicative and thorough and even re-worked the design mock-up when we decided we needed a bigger tv. Everything for the install was exactly how they told us it would be and getting to know them personally was an added bonus. Their work is impeccable and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They brought the dream of squares to life! We are so happy with the end result. I would trust them with any project, big or small.

DO NOT HIRE! He will blow you off for bigger jobs even when you are relying on him for pieces needed to complete a remodel. I ordered custom kitchen shelves and a fireplace mantle at the end of June. He did get the mantle done when needed, but then weeks and weeks go by and nothing on the shelves. I'm asking him every week, and every week its the same it'll be soon, next week, should be good... next week. THEN these shelves become the hold up for completing our remodel for an airbnb. He tells me he'll get them done, then the DAY before our absolute drop dead deadline, he informs me I won't be able to complete your project. I sent him a deposit JUNE 30th and on AUG 18th he tells me he can't do it. Now I need to scramble to find new custom sized shelves, reschedule our tile contractor, photographer, and delay our launch by a couple weeks which is costing lots of money in lost rental revenue on top of the headache. Then he only gives me a partial refund as he's not going to pay his 'rush labor' on the mantle. Absolutely unprofessional and is winding up costing me thousands of dollars. There are many people out there than can do what Donnie does... go find someone else.
