During this last big storm we had, our tub was leaking (and so I thought), I called a big plumbing company (not listing name) out to take a look. They told me they would have to come back with some equipment to open up our shower and replace some pipes, but we would have to replace the wall behind the tub and reinstall the tub  as well after pipe is fix.  I didn't feel comfortable with what they said but ended up having to pay them $80 for their diagnosis/estimate time.  I decided to get a second opinion and called Jim based on a recommendation.  Thank god I did. After a long consultation he saw that our pipes was cracked and  had burst, water was coming up from under house!! Much bigger problem, but most importantly he found source of water damage.  Fortunately he was able to fix problem before more damage was done to our house. One thing I have to admit about Alameda, we have the best small town honest local business owners.  Jim is a local plumber, sooo reliable and honest.  I can't thank him enough for all the hours put into our house.  He saved my house and saved me from having to remodel the bathroom for no reason.

Pipe under kitchen sink sprung a leak on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving around 5:30 pm. Called a plumber we'd used before; they answered but kept hanging up on me. Then I remembered Flow Masters, which had serviced our condo before as well. Connor answered right away, was his usual cheery and friendly self, and arranged for us to be serviced the next morning at 8 am.

Willie arrived on time the next morning, was friendly and efficient, and took care of another minor issue for us (no extra charge).

We've used many plumbers in S.F. over the years, with spotty results. Flow Masters is our top choice from now on!

My most recent Hero was Samuel Hernandez, who replaced an exterior door, painted it & the surrounding trim. He also repaired two steps leading to my garden.  Everything was done well, and in a timely manner. He was pleasant and  quick to respond to any requests. My new RED back door looks great & opens/closes so easily.  What a hero Samuel is!

Mike Hanyman did a great job and was responsive from start to finish.   Stan came out to remove the black stains from our exterior stucco trim and applied paint touch up to perfection.  The trim now looks beautiful again!  He worked carefully around the stucco walls and trim.  We are so very happy with Mike Handyman's service.  Thank you Mike and team.

Old water heater sprung a leak. A PG&E rep said it needed to be replaced and had some failing connections. I contacted three places, and Kenneth Asire Plumbing was able to come and give a free estimate first. Vlad was efficient, clear, and able to give me what seemed (from my PG&E recommendation) to be a fair price, and he could get started pretty much right away. I took it. About an hour-and-a-half later, after working with an assistant, Vlad had the job done, and even made some adjustments to ensure I was happy with the work. Couldn't be more pleased.

I was greatly concerned with the cost in calling a plumber during a holiday weekend, but Danny responded and cleared the clog for a reasonable charge. He also explained some of the issues with drainage problems in SF and suggestive preventive steps I could take.  Looks like I finally found a reliable fair plumber in SF.

I called several plumbers in the area regarding a stripped valve stem in the shower. All the plumbers I spoke to seemed weary about replacing the stem due to the fact there are dozens of different manufacturers, and that the job could escalate quickly if they needed to special order parts (or worse yet), have to open the walls up if they couldn't find the right parts. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place because I wasn't prepared to start opening walls, yet they all wanted to charge a service fee to take a look.

All, except Justin. He said they would come by and evaluate and that we could go from there. I thought this was reasonable, and he also seemed to be confident that that they could do the job without having to remodel the shower.

Within an hour, Justin's associate Andrew came by, quickly diagnosed the issue, and was off to get parts. I decided to have them change both valve stems, and within an hour, the job was complete.

Andrew was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. In fact, I had a loose faucet in another bathroom that he quickly tightened for me.

The cost ended up being about 2/3 what I thought it might be- based on what I was hearing from the other plumbers. I thought the pricing was more than fair, and when I couple that with the quick response, honesty, and workmanship, I couldn't have asked for more!

I would fully recommend Justin and his crew to my friends and family.

Nobody wants to have to call a plumber, but I couldn't be more happy with the experience! We called for a semi-emergency around 4pm on a Saturday and he was there within 1.5 hours! Totally knowledgeable and friendly, knew exactly what to do, and voila -- our problem was fixed! Price seemed reasonable. I hope I don't have any more problems but will definitely use  Jorge again if so!

The waste line from our kitchen and laundry room, embedded under our slab foundation, were leaking and needed to be replaced - but we didn't want to destroy our new flooring. Marco came up with a great solution to efficiently bypass, took care of the permits and inspections, and his team did really great work at a very fair price. We are very pleased and will not hesitate to work with him and his team again!

I highly recommend Selvin's services. His over 10 years of experience shined when we asked him to come diagnose a leaking pipe in our home. Selvin quickly discovered the leak to be just outside our house, in the pipes that link to our garden's irrigation system. Selvin placed a valve to isolate the garden's water supply from our home's. Professional, fairly priced, and highly efficient. If you are looking for a plumber, I recommend you choose Selvin.

Our toilets were backed up and the first plumber we got spent 6 hours but couldn't figure out the problem.  Luis from Northern Plumbing came in and knew right away what to do- had the toilets cleared quickly.  He also took the time to explain everything to me.  Will definitely call Northern next time we have any plumbing issues!

Needed a cartridge for an American Standard shower faucet. Called three plumbing supply places with no luck. A-1 came through. Very helpful, friendly staff. Everyone wore a mask.

Last Friday, we noticed our house getting cold and by the evening, it was really cold. We have radiant heat and I went out and felt the boiler and it was stone cold. Early the next morning (Saturday), I called a few boiler specialists including Innovative Radiant Heating. The owner, Ramnar Montoya, called me back quickly and scheduled time to look at our problem the same day. He confirmed what I suspected, our almost 40 year old boiler was dead (bad heat exchanger). I received a few bids that day but the bid from Ramnar was the only one that included all the details of the job (flushing the system, installing pumps and pressure regulater, etc). I liked that detail because I didn't have to wonder whether all the work we discussed was going to be included. Ramnar answered my many questions throughly and the more time I spent talking to him, the better feeling I got. His bid was very competitive and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need; actually quite the opposite. At one point, I was interested in a more expensive boiler and he gently suggested it would be a waste of money. I ended up taking his advice. After reviewing a couple of more bids and many more questions to Ramnar, I hired his firm to install the new boiler. I asked him if he could stop in during the installation. He responded saying he would be doing the installation. I liked that. He was able to schedule the work quickly and arrived at our house exactly when he said he would. Ramnar did thorough, excellent, work and did everything he said he would. He was absolutely great to work with and very pleasant to have at our house. My utility closet and new boiler look great and our house is now warm and comfortable again. I am very happy to write this review.  With our next plumbing catastrophe, I will not hesitate to call Ramnar and Innovative Radiant Heating again. Thank you Ramnar!

Tim and Lloyd replaced my water heater and did a wonderful job! They were punctual, knowledgeable, and professional. I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them!

Andrew and team were exceptional on all aspects on their visit. I needed a removal of a 10 year old tankless water heater and an installation of a brand new one which Andrew suggested would be a great choice to go with based on our home size. The team was very patient, thorough, and really knowledgeable about what they needed to do and how to get the job done perfectly, thank you guys so much!

Ben is an Amazing plumber.  He was very prompt, reasonable and professional.   He cleanout and replaced a cleanout joint in our basement that was backed up, leaking and well past its end-of-life.

I commend Gotelli's plumbing worker for being honest, knowledgeable and effective in fixing our problem with faucets diminished flow in MB. Had solved issue in 15' and offered to help in any other plumbing matter if needed, which I did to use his fee for first hour.

Worst place of all, charged me $650 for a 200 dollar job to replace a shower valve. not only could they not install the valve correctly, they installed it sideways and charged me a lot of money.
I tried to call them because they kept spamming me and Candice kept saying, hello, hello i cannot hear you, which is BS

I would never trust these rip off people as their techs cannot do a simple job
