I've used Women's Plumbing Repair on three separate occasions and all three jobs were done professionally, courteously, and swiftly.  Women's Plumbing Repair in fixing a broken pipe underneath cement outside of the house, gave me information about what they were doing each step of the way.  No other service provider has ever done that with me, and that's why I'm a repeat customer.  When I have a plumbing problem, I call a plumber, not a handyperson.  And that's why I call Women's Plumbing Repair.  They're friendly and honest...and you'd be hard pressed to find those qualities now-a-days.

We had a brand new range installed and our gasket was not in the right place. Oleg came to the rescue and resolved my huge gap behind the wall. Price was very reasonable too and we're content! No more gaps!

Ben totally saved the day!

We suffered a break-in attempt yesterday morning, which ended up damaging our building's front door frame to the point that it would no longer lock. This obviously needed to get fixed ASAP and I knew that same day availability for a big job like this would be a challenge. Luckily I found Ben's page and gave him a call. He was able to fit me into his afternoon and worked until sundown to get the door frame repaired with new lumber and reinforced. He was polite, helpful, and a total pleasure to work with, and we went to bed soundly knowing that the front door was now even more secure than it was before the incident. Thanks again Ben!

Old buildings such as our Edwardian in San Francisco are full of charm but they can also present plumbing nightmares! We experienced one recently when the 100+ year old main bathroom pipes in the upstairs unit started leaking into my downstairs unit. Our usual plumber was not available. What to do?

Turning to Yelp, Alansi's' Plumbing checked out with excellent reviews and comments about fair prices. So we hired them.

I want to second other positive comments and especially thank Khaled who managed the job (with support from Mo the second day).

The company responded promptly to our call for help and Khaled arrived to start the job less than an hour later. He quickly identified the problem and went about the multiple steps to replace the leaking pipe after removing the sheet rock in the upstairs and downstairs units. This turned out to be a time consuming two day job. Khaled was courteous, clear in explaining his work process, dedicated to completing the job in a timely manner and very clean in managing every stage of the job.

Odi at Oakland Rooter was awesome!  He was responsive (even over texts!), accommodating (helped pick up our toilet from Home Depot), friendly (even with our kids!), and did a clean, thorough job.  I'll definitely hire him next time!

Great work, special exceptions in scheduling, Ryan very professional, promises fulfilled, crew was courteous, I would recommend them to anyone who needs his services. They left our yard looking as good as before all the digging and you wouldn't know they were here. Great company.

Best service every time we call.  In the old days Dave would come out himself, but his team is just as skilled and capable.  Mark arrived on exactly on time, and in 20 minutes solved the problem!  I hate having to call a plumber, but I'm always impressed the once or twice a year that I call Heise's.

I have recently had several contacts with F&A Plumbing. I obtained estimates from several plumbers before choosing F&A, and am so glad that I chose them. Frank and Sean were both very friendly and helpful throughout every contact that I had and every question I posed. The jobs were completed when needed, and with excellent results. They even charged me substantially less-than-quoted on the last job they did. They were knowledgable, friendly, punctual, did great work, cleaned up thoroughly after their jobs were completed, and were a pleasure to interact with. F&A Plumbing clearly cares about providing a quality service to their customers and I highly recommend them to anyone.

STK Plumbing are fantastic. Their bid was quick, all-inclusive, and competitively priced. Our old water heater broke and STK Plumbing provided a replacement, full installation and removal of the old broken water heater. It was a great experience and I plan on using STK Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

Many years ago when our close friend and plumber died, we asked his wife to whom to go now.  With no hesitation she said, Weber.  We did and never left, now into the third generation.  Mo-Fr only.  Open about pricing.  Furnace and water heater replacements are flat rate.  Expert, fair, and honest--what more is there to say?

Our garbage disposal froze, Plumbing Guys responded within an hour, they were true to their estimate. They tried to repair our unit didn't rush to sell us a new unit. They were knowledgeable, courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would call them again.

It's never fun to come home to a clogged kitchen drain, especially on the Sunday of a holiday weekend.  We reached out to a b drain and spoke with an extremely professional representative that scheduled Raffi to come to our house the same day.  Not only did Moses arrive earlier than expected but he was professional, straightforward, and great to work with.  He also walked us through each step he took, making us feel very confident in the work performed.  I highly recommend him!

Charlie was great.  He came to our house, replaced 3 sink washers.  They work great now.  He was a little hard to get on the phone but since this clearly was not an urgent matter - It was not a big deal.  We certainly will use him again.

The lights in my daughter's one-year-old ceiling fan suddenly failed--right in the middle of her urgent Finals Week studies. Reading the great reviews other customers gave Berkeley Home Repair (BHR), I took a chance and called them to schedule a service call; owner, Damon, set me up for the next day. The repair technician, Brian--who I soon learned is also Damon's brother--arrived ahead of schedule, and he promptly got to work troubleshooting our issue. Brian soon zeroed in on a bad resistor in the fan assembly's light box. My wife had previously ordered a new ceiling fan as a replacement just in case; so Brian offered to either switch out that assembly's light box, or replace the old, existing fan entirely. I chose the latter option, and Brian had the replacement installed within about 20 minutes. Even better, Brian whisked away all the old parts and packaging to save me valuable space in my waste/recycling bins. I'm very pleased with BHR's--and technician Brian's--prompt, friendly service. (I only wish I'd been better prepared to discuss Brian's other apparent specialty: Stephen King novels!)

My wife and I will definitely call Berkeley Home Repair the next time a home maintenance issue arises (as they seem to, regularly!) around our house. Thank you, BHR!

Balboa Plumbing is a family business. They have everything that you would need from a plumbing perspective and then some. Their prices are cheap and they are super friendly. My one word of advice is they are at their busiest from 7:30-9:00 in the morning so if you are in a hurry come at other times. This business reminds me very much of the old San Francisco. Long before big box stores were 30 minutes away and when people actually cared about providing good service and being kind.

I called Bay Rooter Plumbing after reading all of the stellar reviews on yelp. I had been fighting a slow draining sink for two days and figured it was time to have it looked at. Israel lived up to the five star reviews. He arrived quickly and nailed the problem fast. Very personal and professional. I finally feel like I won't dread calling a plumber when there is a problem. They have won my business and recommendation. Thanks for the excellent customer service!!

It is too bad that there is not a negative star system. This company charges a very high rate, and does poor workmanship.

Found these guys through RedBeacon.  Needed to get a kitchen faucet installed / replaced, and a couple other odd items.  These guys are great. I called and asked if they could come by the same day, and Sergei (owner?) squeezed me in. Paul (technician) was nothing but professional. He was timely, clean (wore booties in the house, cleaned up after himself), and even moved everything from out under the sink and back for me. I also asked for help in securing a loose bathroom sink due to poor installation, and removing a stuck bathroom tub drain stopper, and he did both free of charge. Highly recommend these guys, and will definitely call again when I need a plumber.
