Best Businesses in San Francisco, CA
Hiring Beastbay to replace the water heater at our place of business was a great decision. Ronald and his staff were very professional. It was a smooth process from the time we requested for a quote to scheduling and installation. Everything was straightforward. Keep up the great work Beastbay!

Excellent service! I called this morning about a blocked kitchen drain and was given an appointment for tomorrow morning, which was OK since it was not an emergency. But then they called to let me know that Scott was nearby and had finished a job early and could come over. In less than a half-hour, the drain was rootered, and the problem solved. These guys are very knowledgeable, and I will likely have them back soon for other minor plumbing repairs. Very happy I found them.

We bought our home in 2006 and the previous owners of 30+ years highly recommended them for any plumbing and heating problems with the house. My water heater gave up 2 years ago and Luis came out and banged out the job. Recently I had a issue with the pilot light and no hot water, called Tromborg (7pm) and they were here no less than 15 minutes assessed the issue, replaced the faulty part all within 45 minutes. Family owned business and they treated me like family, these guys are AWESOME! If you are not using Tromborg for your heating and plumbing then you probably paid too much and got crappy service. Do yourself a favor and call them NOW if you have any plumbing or heating issues.

Responsive and friendly service. I don't know if i would call his prices fair. I got three quotes and his was by far the highest. I did not hire this guy, I went with another plumber who had better price and did a great job.

I needed to have a handheld shower installed in a bathtub for my elderly mother, and Joven came out very quickly and did a fantastic job. He was very polite and accommodating, and great at communication via text... even sending me a photo of the finished job since I couldn't be there. I would highly recommend him. We will definitely use him for future plumbing needs. Thank you, Joven!

Very professional experience on the job. Cesar did a quality job and ensured there are no stains, water leak and also was extremely polite. I usually don't write reviews, but was very happy to do it

Dave came out and repaired our old boiler and was very cheerful and efficient. He got the radiator fixed and it was easy to do. He had some good advice on how to manage this old system.

Steve at Chung Wah was recommended to us by another company we'd used before. From my first call with him, Steve was fantastic. Clear, professional, proactive, and very very quick to respond. And he is funny and kind!
Chung Wah gave us a price range over the phone. Then Steve quickly arranged to give us a site visit, so he could give us a firm estimate. He was quick, clear, and professional over the phone, text & email.
I then spoke to two other companies and was disappointed by them: they were not as fast to reply, unwilling to give a firm estimate, and not as good at communicating about what their work would include and why. We booked with Chung Wah for the next week because they were superior in every way (including the online reviews like this one).
When the 2-person team arrived, they were very considerate. Great masking & the took care to protect our floors and carpets. They were kind to everyone in the building. They made sure we knew what they'd be doing and how long it would take. Steve even texted to make sure it was going well.
When the crew finished, they went back to double check their work in each unit and told us to text Steve if there were any leaks -- even in the middle of the night! Steve came by right away to check their work. Clearly, they all wanted to be sure everything was done right.
Even the billing was flexible: we had to split the work into different payments for each unit and for the HOA. Steve sent over a link right away so everyone who wanted to pay electronically had an easy way to do it. Plus, their staff was very kind about accepting a check in the mail from one unit (old skool).
I'd use Chung Wah again for sure. I highly recommend them.

Five stars indeed! My property manager had called an unlicensed plumber who got his snake stuck so bad that it couldn't be pulled out by 3 strong men. Saul showed up with 2 guys, and they tried to get the snake out. When they couldn't, they didn't charge me anything. After talking to another plumber who didn't even want to touch the stuck snake, I ended up hiring Saul to replace my clay pipes as Saul sent Brian who came up with a brilliant and innovative way to remove the stuck snake. As you can see in the pictures, it involved tying the stuck snake to a chain and then to a tree in the backyard. It took almost all day between all the trips to get the materials, but it got the snake out. I would highly recommend this team. They're very experienced and know what they're doing.

Edgar Amaya's name for his business Pipe Arts Plumbing is absolutely fitting: his pipe work is truly a work of art. He is an artist and this talent is evident in the superior design and aesthetic quality of his work.
Edgar also has an excellent work ethic, he is knowledgeable, takes pride in his work, plus he is prompt and completes a project on time, as scheduled. He is courteous, pleasant, with a great sense of humor!
Edgar just finished the re-piping of our whole house. The 100 year old galvanized iron water pipes were replaced with copper pipes. We now have clean water plus great water pressure throughout the house. We no longer have to shut off water elsewhere when someone starts showering in the bathroom!
Edgar was very patient and accommodating of our many requests and completed some additional plumbing work in the house as well. He also gave us his professional advice on future projects and we will definitely be using his services again.
Pipe Arts Plumbing and Edgar Amaya have our highest recommendation.

Blessed to be a first-time homebuyer of a cute California bungalow, which of course, meant a very old sewer lateral that needed to be replaced.
Got 4 bids, Sewer Master's came up the best so decided to go with them. Paid the $500 deposit, work was scheduled in ~2 weeks, with work completed in one day. Very straightforward, received the EBMUD compliance, everything seems A-OK. No hidden fees from the estimate, paid online by credit card, and happy to have one less homeowner project to worry about. Thanks Sewer Master!

We are small family company that had project in Moos Beach and we were in need for backflow service for system we installed. We used Google search where we found about five companies in first row. We started to call for service request. After sixth company we stopped. Hopelessly we clicked on the compony in lower row. There was around 7:30 am on first call we got immediate response. I was surprised. On my request for backflow service Gavin said that he is busy and will schedule the visit as soon as possible that completely understandable.
You are won't believe but I get call back from Gavin in about 20 minutes and he said that he had call to the Building Department and solved our problem.
He had guide me and provide Water Department contact number and name.
I had follow his instruction and got all done in short time.
Gavin not only helped us and saved a lot of time he showed us that decent and caring people exist.
Thank you Gavin very much.
We are definitely recommend him.
And you know you can rely on him.

The water continued to flow non stop after flashing in my Moms' toilet .. so we have to call Bill for rescue. I left a message in Bills' voice mail and He has returned my call promptly and was at my Moms' house exactly as promised. He looked at the problem and was able to fix it in 5 minutes !!! and refused to get paid for the services rendered. Normally, others will ask for a minimum charge, which I believe is very fair... but not Bill !!! My Mom was so happy not because of the FREE service but because of meeting such an honorable man with such GREAT & OUTSTANDING work ethics .
Bill deserves more than 5 Stars !!! I highly recommend Bill !!!

Great service! These guys rock! I went in looking for the J pipe piece for a bathroom sink P-trap. The guys there greeted me but were helping other customers. I waited my turn and the guy who helped me was very knowledgeable and showed me what I needed. He even helped me save some $ by showing me that a whole new P-trap pipe ($10) would cost less than the piece I was looking for.
I went to this place when it was formerly U-Save Plumbing and those guys sucked! The new WB Plumbing guys are awesome! I bought the P-trap but when I went home to install it, one piece was too long so I went back and told them. The worker offered to cut it shorter for me for free! What great customer service! They made it easy for me to buy what I needed and made sure I was taken care of. A+! I will be shopping at this store for my plumbing supplies from now on. Thank you WB Plumbing!

Joyous day- our household no longer leaks!
We first asked Zayah over to replace a pair of showerheads that were installed forty years ago and completely stuck on. He took care of us rapidly and efficiently, then took a look at the seven sinks we had that all were leaking. Based on his advice, we ordered appropriate faucets for all of them and asked him back.
That's where his work began. Our plumbing was a DISASTER. We had drains that fell apart when touched and handles that broke when turned. Significant time spent cutting out old drains, replacing angle stops, and having to go out to the local hardware store for necessary parts. (Such as the unexpectedly new drain. We'd already planned to replace four of the others and were prepared for those. Sigh.)
Zayah was amazing and worked us into his schedule as he could, especially given the expected and unexpected needs of our project. His rates are phenomenal and his work ethic top notch. We can't recommend his work enough!

Harry Clark cost me money and time as I was trying to sell my house in the Oakland hills. They have hyped themselves as the experts on the recent requirement for an EBMUD Certificate of Compliance on any sewer lateral older than 10 years to real estate companies all over the area. Not true! My Realtor had heard their hype, however, and called them to test my lateral.
My situation is a little different in that I have an ejector pump that pumps sewage to the main line....but plumbers are usually aware that water goes down, not up. When their tester came out, he pointed out that the lateral was not slanted down to the main and therefore was not correct. Hmmmm. Why would I have a pump if gravity would do it? He didn't get that. His report (took a week to get it) was Bull****. Absolutely inaccurate. His boss agreed and said he would come out and give us a new report.
Again, a week went by and then his boss sent my Realtor a non-report. It said absolutely nothing. I wondered what EBMUD would think when they got it. This guy also said one thing to me and contradicted himself to my Realtor. A simple hurdle was getting ridiculously out of hand.
I called another company and they got the whole thing taken care of in two days. Done.
I have used Harry Clark for HVAC maintenance, since they put in my furnace and HVAC system when I built the house in 2001. I had no idea their plumbing services were so poor. Do yourself a favor, tell your Realtor not to call them when you want to sell your house and need a sewer lateral test. Hire Pipe Spy!!
