Okay, I actually have a couple of observations.  As far as I can tell, it's a one-man operation:  his whole business depends on his reputation.  His reputation is very, VERY good.

I hired Bob for the first time recently.  I had saved up a few problems that were beginning to become too annoying to ignore.  Not only did he address all the problems I asked him too, he addressed a couple more.  I was in a different room so I didn't even know.  When was the last time you hired someone who did MORE than you asked?  And didn't charge extra?  Actually, I know the answer: sometime in the 1950s.

True-tech Water is truly worthy of a 5 star rating, on time,  more then fair on pricing, truly top notch.
Steve Drake the owner was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend Hauge water products and True-Tech Water.

Edward did an excellent job reworking the plumbing in my now Condominium to meet San Francisco code when I was converting it from a Tenants-In-Common. He skillfully relocated the plumbing for one toilet and installed a wall-mounted toilet. In addition, he pulled the required permit and ensured that the city inspection passed for the kitchen and both bathrooms.

Previously Edward helped me to unclog a bathroom drain, which has since been working perfectly for the past 2 years.

I'd definitely recommend Edward as a reasonably priced and friendly plumber.

Abraham was an absolute life saver. After a mishap with the cleaning company I hired over the weekend my shower head and pipe were broken internally through the wall. Abraham gave me the best price from every plumber I talked to, he had a quick response time, got to work immediately upon arrival, and knew what hardware to supply for my shower. I would use him again and definitely recommend him!!!

We needed both a kitchen drain and bathroom drain snaked out. Roberto responded to our Request for Quote very promptly, scheduled a time to come out and look and gave us a good price. Since it was late in the day, he scheduled to come back the next day and do the job and he was on time and  did both jobs and gave us a 30-day warranty on the work. We would definitely call Oakland Drain Cleaning again and recommend them highly!

Visited my mom in daly city over the weekend and of course while I was there they had a plumbing (backup) issue! I actually got Dr. drains' number from a good friend of mine who lives out here in the bay. I got a call back and message within 30 minutes from Dixson. From the time I spoke to him over the phone, (very polite and listened).. to him coming out - everything was great! The honesty, his communication (why/what/how), his cleanliness, carefulness, and the pricing was really a blessing! Most of the time vendors try to gouge customers because they know 'you don't know' anything.. but not these guys! Highly recommended if you live out here w/in san mateo co. Integrity on point! Makes me happy that my mom has a reliable and trustworthy plumbing company to call! Thanks so much guys!!!!!

Jorge is absolutely fabulous! He has the most amazing memory for all my plumbing-related issues and history. He is personable, kind, honest, and extremely conscientious. He also does an amazing job of getting back to me quickly, and following up to make sure everything has been taken care of. He's such a gem!

Sean is a fantastic plumber. His work ethic and attention to detail are unparalleled in the plumbing business. You can be sure the job will be done right the first time around, and at a fair price. Whether it's excavating and laying cast iron pipes underground, or putting the final touches on beautiful finish work, he is an expert, and always gets it done in a timely manner. Mark came as a referral from my home warranty company. This turned out to be the best call they could have made. He came out with his associate a little ahead of the scheduled time, their office called about 30 minutes prior to their arrival and he found the leak that had been confounding me and another plumbing company for about a week. He ordered the needed replacement part, verified it was the correct one and installed it a few days later; all total it took 2 days and 2 hours. While he was here, another plumbing problem came up and Mark helped to get the needed authorization so he could do the work while he was here. Great service and a great representative for his company.

Wow!  Alex and Veronica were the most impressive team when I was searching for the right plumber to do our sewer lateral compliance project.  They were very quick to reply and with a level of customer service and care, and even went out of their way in such a thoughtful manner when responding to some of our requests for the project bid.  I will certainly look to them first for any plumbing projects in the future!

Charlie was amazing: he replaced two old sinks and shower heads in 1.5 hours. His work is very clean and he was very honest in his billing. Highly recommended!

Upon my wife's insistence, (the drip was driving us crazy!!), we were referred to Pipeline Plumbing to check out our leaky issue.  Skeptical because I am so fearful of being taken advantage of, we reached out to set up an assessment time and remained hopeful for a trustworthy business.

Jason reached out to us immediately, triaged the issue by having us send him a video the issue, the hardware and photos as well.  He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave us a quote of $315, what I considered to be a fair price.  Seemed to good to be true...even more skeptical, we proceeded.

Once Jason arrived at the house, he was super friendly, wearing his mask and took every precaution to bring the family at ease (due to COVID).  Jason asked great questions and quickly got to work - he even helped me try to map out wear the critical lines were in our home.  All without any grimacing or griping on my lack of knowledge about our own home.  In short, he is super high on the EQ and IQ!!

Jason quickly fixed the problem, charged us the stated amount and left with a $20 tip to enjoy some beverages of his choice.

I will never go to another professional for any water related issues in our home.

After being stood up by another company I called Magic Plumbing.  They showed up promptly when they said they would.  They guys were friendly & nice.  They cleared my clogged toilet.  Before doing the work, they gave me a price to clean it.  The priced seemed high, $240.  They tried to unplug it, but after only a few minutes, they said that they needed to do a different procedure which would cost $425.  It felt like a bait & switch.  They didn't spend much time trying to unplug it with the original process.  They used an auger to clear the entire line.  I don't know if this was necessary.  So the work was good, but very expensive.  For 45 minutes, the price was excessive.

Let start by saying I value everyone's business and time, however i think people over charge when they can. This company came out today to snake my sink that literally took the 30min to do. I was charged $325. The sad part is my landlord has use this company for years, and I had a appt for the previous day, but they were a NO SHOW, not even a call. I usually don't leave reviews but I'm just irritated that companies do this. I get that plumbing can be a hard job, but it didn't take them 30min. I could see them charging $150-200 at the max. But $325 is ridiculous. I suggest shopping around if you have time in my case I needed it done and hasn't been feeling good.

Pipes needed snaking, they came out in less than an hour and took care of it. Would definitely recommend!

Sent by home warranty company on rush order.  Took a week to show up.  Missed appointments.  His VM is full.  He talks like a neandrathal. Plumber.  Then 2 or 3 word sentences; cant have a normal dialogue with him.  Then a week later he shows up and writes a report instead of fixing it.  fyi- issue was only needed a new ptrap under sink.  Didnt know when he could come back.  Offered in advance to pay him to fix faucet while he was there, and he said no, only had an hour before the next appointment. I think a ptrap takes about 3 minutes to fix.  I could do myself but dont have the connector I need.
