My 16 year old Hague water softener stoped working recently. I did some research and found True-Tech Water. They returned my call right away and I was able to make an appointment a few days later. Aaron and Steve arrived today on time and were very friendly and got right to work. They were able to diagnose two problems and had them fixed quickly, and the visit cost way under $200. I asked if I needed to do yearly service, and he said no, to just call if we had a problem. Another company might have tried to sell me a maintenance contract, but not these guys. Honesty and integrity, that's what you get with True-Tech Water.

Oakland Drain Cleaning and Roberto are wonderful! I'm so glad we found them. We had an acute issue where we noticed standing water in our backyard along one side. We also had a sump pump pipe leaking. I inquired in a Friday night and Roberto was out the next morning right on time to assess the issues.

He asked great questions, was knowledgeable, and didn't try to upsell me on services. In fact, of the three plumbers we brought in to initially assess, he was the best and most comprehensive, and most reasonably priced. He sent me an estimate later that day and we hired him to take care of the job. Roberto got the job done very promptly and is very reliable. He also suggested a much less expensive, easy DIY solution to one of our leaking problems, which I'm appreciative of. I hope we don't have any more plumbing issues, but if we do, Roberto is our man! Visited my mom in daly city over the weekend and of course while I was there they had a plumbing (backup) issue! I actually got Dr. drains' number from a good friend of mine who lives out here in the bay. I got a call back and message within 30 minutes from Dixson. From the time I spoke to him over the phone, (very polite and listened).. to him coming out - everything was great! The honesty, his communication (why/what/how), his cleanliness, carefulness, and the pricing was really a blessing! Most of the time vendors try to gouge customers because they know 'you don't know' anything.. but not these guys! Highly recommended if you live out here w/in san mateo co. Integrity on point! Makes me happy that my mom has a reliable and trustworthy plumbing company to call! Thanks so much guys!!!!!

I must say that Eric is professional and knows exactly what he is doing and needs to do.
He was promptly on-time (15 minutes earlier than promised) and very courteous.  I had a kitchen sink issue and I tried all night yesterday to fix it with a plunger and drano, and the next morning it was still clogged.  When I explained the problem to Eric over the phone, I was convinced with his explanation on what needed to be done and how.  He worked on the issue delicately and made sure that the area would be clean and not messy during his job and after.  I was impressed.  The problem took about 30-40 minutes to fix and he even had the parts with him that needed to be replaced.  I thought the price was reasonable for the emergency I had and the availability he was able to show up about 1.5 after I called.  He guaranteed his work for 30 days and he was very thorough.  Not only did he replace the part, unclog the sink, he made sure that the rest of the pipe was not clogged.  He also checked if the external pipe running down the house would not be damaged and made suggestions to observe condition of the pipes because of rust or age and how to get more water pressure to my sink faucet.  He is not your ordinary plumber, he had a clean van, he did the work in an organized and clean fashion and he left with clean hands and clothes.  If I have any issues in the future in regards to plumbing I would use Eric again, and I will definitely refer others.

I want to give a big shout out to Jorge for being a really stand up, great guy.  I texted him at 8pm last night (on a wed night) about whether he could fix a thermocouple on our water heater (don't worry, I don't know what that is either).  He promptly responded, told us that it was still under warranty, gave us really helpful advice about how it could be fixed for free (or how we could hire someone to do it because he does not fix that part anymore) -- and he got nothing out of it.  But if we have problems in the future, he will be my go to and he also gets great karma points for just being a good dude.

This review is good and bad.  
Good:  Office extremely responsive, called me to let me know when I would be contacted for an appointment.  Next day on time I had someone call and let me know the window of time the plumbers would be out. Nice!
Plumbers George and Rafael arrived on time, booties on, and were very attentive and listened to the problem.  
Problem: Some type of slow leak in a seldom used upstairs shower had been on going while we were gone for 5 days on vacation.  Came home to a ceiling water damage,water damage on a beam, ceiling had partially fallen, and the wood floors had completely bowed.
Plumbers: Tried to recreate the problem and couldn't.  They did find that an area of grout leaked when water was on it.  I asked them to check the gaskets and seals in the faucet to make sure there wasn't a bad one and that maybe this could be the problem.  They said it was all set.  I signed the paper work - they left, I went and checked and the tub faucet won't turn off. WHAT????
Called Fidelity National Home Warranty and they said the way I had filled out the request for them to fix the leak in the wall, they didn't have to fix the faucet.  My question - what if it is somehow causing the problem... Aren't they plumbers????
Anyway, they did discover the tile grout is bad, but they didn't stop a faucet from leaking.
In Conclusion: Fast, Clean, Courteous - hope you get lucky and they do the plumbing.

Alex has great response time. We need to replace our sewer lateral asap and Alex didn't disappoint!  I would definitely recommend better rooter to a friend.

Charles removed our old kitchen faucet and installed a new one. There were some unexpected issues: a crack in our P-pipe (so that's why it's always damp under the sink), a missing washer, and a flex hose that wasn't long enough, but he handled everything. He was friendly, communicative, and very affordable.

Fixed my broken kitchen faucet, running toilet and a slow drain.  He was fast, polite, efficient and made it all very easy.  Totally recommend.

Magic Plumbing has amazing customer service and are super quick! I believe it was Sam who helped schedule our appointment and he was very helpful and accommodating. James was our technician and did an amazing job. Very friendly and did not mind us hovering over him with curiosity as to what was clogging the drain. It was a great experience beginning to end and I would absolutely recommend this company.

These guys have helped us through some complex plumbing jobs. Burst pipes, leaking pipes, mystery leaks. They have always come through for us and their pricing is fair. Due to emergencies they may not always show up exactly on time so be sure to stay in close contact with the main office to get updates.

John of GT plumbing was booked by the warranty company because our Water Heater was not working and the first technician from a different company would not  work on a GE water heater.  GT plumbing came out less than 24 hours after the Warranty company called him. John was very courteous, respectful and was able to get the water heater working on the spot and in only a few minutes of time.  He also showed up on time.
