Ace Plumbing Heating and Air Plumbing Service
Our sewer main clogged XMas Eve. They were there in hours to assess and service. Saving Xmas Eve for us. They also discovered a break. I was able to see through their camera where a root from a former tree in our yard had torn it's way through the main. The were the best price and had a repair in place within a week of the estimate. Manuel, my point person, was excellent. He even came back out to remeasure some areas after I wanted to make sure the quote was accurate. I very much appreciate his efforts. Time will tell on the replaced main, but for now, if you have a need ACE can fill, you would be smart to at least get a quote from them.

Jake's Plumbing Plumbing Service
A hot water line mingled too closely with my screw early in my DIY project. With my water off before anyone had time to shower and urgently needing to be somewhere, I didn't have the luxury to learn and repair a main line in the wall. Jake had early hours, answered promptly and showed up quickly. Very friendly service!

He cut out as little pipe as needed, had the right tools to keep the hole in the wall as small as possible and was very professional. With the water line on, the bill was paid and he was ready to leave, I discovered a faucet no longer worked since the water was turned back on. He got under the cabinet and started repairing that... Despite telling him I could handle that part myself. He was very eager to help!

I am a competent DIY home owner and only call professionals when I don't have time to make mistakes. He answered my questions readily and was very polite and I even learned a few tricks should my pipes go wandering into a few more screws. He did not try to up-sell anything despite a few inquires on his services. Straight answers, no BS and did not waste my time trying to talk me into anything I didn't want.

For questions or work, he is a professional. I highly recommend his services!

Express Sewer & Drain Plumbing Service
We had a steady stream of water pouring out onto the street from our storm drain cleanout, and after ruling out any issues with our lawn irrigation system, the city water department came out and confirmed that we had a leak in our water supply line connecting the water main to our house. As this ran across our backyard, the responsibility for repairing (and paying for the work) fell to us....so we lined up 7 different plumbing companies to come out and provide estimates of the work and costs required to replace the line. Our water supply line was the original 50 year old galvanized pipe, so I wasn't interested in doing a band-aid fix, as it seemed likely that if we didn't replace the entire line, we'd almost definitely be dealing with future leaks. As well, we recently had a backyard makeover completed (thanks to one of those home makeover tv shows), so the last thing I wanted to do was dig a trench across our entire backyard and risk ripping up all the beautiful work they did, so my preference was to go the trenchless route.

Of the 7 companies that came out to provide estimates, 3 said they didn't do trenchless, but could dig a trench around our backyard features, which would significantly increase the amount of labor (and costs.) The other 4 companies all offered a trenchless solution, whereby they would dig a hole where the water supply line connected to our house and another where the water supply line connected to the water main, and then use a big machine to bore a hole through the ground and then feed the new water supply pipe under the yard. That was definitely our preferred route.

Express Sewer & Drain was company #7 to come out, at which point I was exhausted from hearing different stories from each plumber, receiving (wildly) different quotes for the work (the highest being 3x as much as the lowest - how does one know who's legit or not?) However, I was very impressed with Nathan from Express, as he was friendly, professional and confident that they could do the work and do it well. After he provided his quote (the most reasonable of all the trenchless quotes I received), I looked up Express' reviews on this site (and others) and it was clear they were a quality company who did quality work. In addition, they were the only company to include the effort & costs of getting permits from the city for the work in their quote. As such, I chose Express Sewer & Drain to complete the work for us.

The following Monday, Nathan and his crew were in front of our house before 8:00am. They had the 2 holes (really, 1 is a hole while the other is still a bit of a trench, but only on the lawn area - the rest of our very developed backyard was left unscathed) dug very quickly, and I was impressed with how they cut the lawn sections out and carefully set them aside for easy re-install once the work was completed.

At 5:30, Nathan called to tell me that they had to wait until 2:00pm that day for the boring machine to get to our house, but once it had bored the hole, they were able to complete the work by the time he called me, and that everything went smoothly and without a hitch. He explained to me that I should run the bathtub faucet for a few minutes to flush out the lines (as both air and a little bit of dirt do get into the water lines), so I did that and within less than a minute all dirt from the lines was flushed through. He let me know that the city confirmed they would be out to do their inspection and sign-off, at which time they (Express) would return to backfill the holes, lay the sod back down in place and clean everything up.

When I got home that Monday night to check it out, I have to admit I was surprised at the length of the trench they dug in the lawn, as well as the mess that digging up so much dirt can make (on the surrounding lawn and even on our house itself where the water line connects), but it was just dirt - I was hopeful that they would clean it all up the following day (I actually called Nathan to confirm that, which he readily did.)

5:00pm Tuesday Nathan called to let me know the city came out at 4:00pm that day to inspect and that everything was approved and signed off on, so he had backfilled the 2 holes, cleaned everything off (with a hose) and also let me know that the grass they laid back down was a couple inches higher than the rest of the yard, but not to worry, as the dirt in the hole would settle and the lawn would drop back down into place. Apparently, people often make the mistake of putting the grass back down flush to the rest of their lawn, and when the backfilled dirt settles out, you end up with sinkholes - I had no idea and really appreciated that heads up.

Quality job, quality company, very happy customer. Highly recommended.

Linck's Plumbing Plumbing Service
Based on all the reviews I saw on Yelp I called Linck's Plumbing to install a water recirculator pump on our hot water heater and to fix a leak under my kitchen sink as well as a stripped hot water tap on our bathtub. I called on Wednesday morning, left a message and my call was returned that afternoon. Mrs. Kevin told me that Kevin would be out at 8 am the next morning and that's exactly what happened. He installed the pump and fixed the other problems, all in about an hour.  No muss, no fuss, and a reasonable charge. What a find!! Thanks, Kevin and Mrs. Kevin!

Jovani's Plumbing Plumbing Service
I would highly recommend Jovani's Plumbing. I had a leak between the walls in my house. First, no plumber would respond to my calls, then they were not interested in going a fishing expedition to find the leak. After I called Jovani, he immediately returned my call and drove out to my house at 7:30p to see if there was an easy fix. He had enough convenience in his skills to cut open the drywall in my office and found the leak. Unfortunately it was one inch above the foundation slab, making it a tricky repair. He provided a quote for a worst-case scenario and cancelled some less urgent appointments so that he could make the repair as soon as possible. Fortunately, he was able to splice in a new section of pipe and seal the new connections. The final bill was half of the estimate, because the job went well. I appreciated his honesty and accurate diagnosis of the problem. Thank you.

A & R Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
The workers are great, although they ended up coming 5 separate occasions. Having said that, the secretary is a little obsessive. I have been called and texted over 30 times in regards to the plumbing services. Which is crazy. Would I hire them again? No way.

5050 Laguna Blvd, Ste 112, Elk Grove, CA 95758
Gilmore Heating, Air and Plumbing Plumbing Service
Don't hire this company..they will say they are doing an inspection for free then after they fix your problem (mine was the thermostat) which I knew was broken...they told me if I paid for their one year maintenance program for $500 then the inspection would be free. When I said I did not want the maintenance program they then said well we have to charge you for the inspection, so for them to JUST replace my thermostat (which should only been $75) I ended up paying $550. They are a rip off!!!
