We have used ACE many times now for our plumbing and furnace repairs. We have always been very satisfied with their work. They are honest, get the job done efficiently, and explain what they are doing and why. Our latest technician was Curtis. He was on time, friendly, and got things done! Curtis worked with my work schedule and made sure my furnace was working top notch before he left. I would recommend ACE for any repair need, big or small.

Called to schedule an estimate on getting a pluming issue resolved. They advertise free estimates in the phone book, but when I called, they wanted to charge me $70 to come out, & $38 for every 30 minutes with a minimum of 2 hours for the appointment (yes that adds up to be $220+ just for a quote). They infact acknowledged that their phone book advertising said that it was a free estimate, but tried to charge anyway. Uhhh no thanks, clearly a sketchy business.

We called Ace Plumbing for a clog in our mainline and I was more than pleased that Ivan was the one to do the work. He was very professional and was able to diagnose the problem quickly and efficiently. He unclogged our bathroom tub in no time and showed me the causes of my mainline clog. He also gave me helpful options for preventing clogs in the future. Would definately recommend Ivan for future jobs!

My AC died on a Sunday night. Martin was there within 20 minutes and tried to resurrect, but it was terminal. Jeremy came by Monday morning, wrote up the order, Martin tag-teamed on the financing, and by Wednesday afternoon, I was cooling down with a brand new HVAC system. Eric and George worked all day in the heat to get the new unit up and running - Eric braved the attic at 130 degrees!

Jeremy and Martin did everything they could to keep the old system running, but its time had come. I have no doubt this system will last 20+ years. Thanks to all!

I will start out by saying that I have not used this company and this review is based off of cost compared to the other 5 places I called and the time response. I called for a possible leak under my house. These guys charge $90 for the first 15min starting when they show up and then $39 for every 15min after that with zero mention of a service fee going towards the cost of any repairs!This company has great reviews from costumers but I called 5 other places that also had good reviews and charge a set fee between $125-$175 for a service call without a time limit which is needed, especially if they have to do a normal
Check in the house and then prepare to go under the house. Also the 5 other places fee goes towards the total cost of repairs if any as to where again there was no mention of that from Ace. Also the other places time frames to show up were almost all 2hrs shorter in time frame. Again the other 5 places I checked also had at least 4 stars and many reviews. I'm not saying they don't do a good job but the price seems comparatively MUCH higher than all the other places I checked out.

Yesterday evening our AC stopped working in over 100 degree temperature. This morning we called Ace. By 9:30 a.m. Curtis was at our house and by 10:30 he had our AC running good as new. He was very professional, funny, and even took the time to give my attention seeking dog some affection. We were very impressed and absolutely recommended them if you have any AC issues.

We had no heat and with an elderly mom in the night it's BEYOND cold. (If you know what I mean) EVERY employee that came to install a new wall heater ( Jorge, Tim, Mike, & Jeffrey ) came with respect, knowledge, ambition, and courtesy and we're so efficient that they got the job done in one day! I couldn't ask for anyone better to get the job done. They even cleaned up any and all messes they made in doing the job. I definitely recommend them for the services they provide!

For the 2nd time this year I have had to call a plumber. I asked for Ivan because my first experience was positive back in February. This time I noticed standing water out front when my sprinklers had been off for days. Ivan quickly diagnosed the subterranean
leaking irrigation pipe issue. He returned to not only deal with it but had his associate Kyle assisting with digging, toilet installation and replacement of a utility faucet that had seen better days. Although Ace is not the cheapest, I have trust in Ivan and how very well he represents his company. Kyle gets a shout out too. #grateful

Best price, on time, swift repair. Had them come out twice. First to fix an improperly installed kitchen sink drain and some issues with our water heater, second time for replacing the cold water shutoff valve in the kitchen. Our A/C went out on Saturday, July 1st with the temperatures over 107 degrees. The old A/C unit was beyond repair and we needed a new one and fast as my husband has a medical condition. Not only did they give me a good price on the unit, but they also pushed to get it installed on Monday. Monday I got a call just after 6AM letting me know that not only did they find a unit, but their workers would be out that morning to put it in. It's now 3:00 PM and we are enjoying a cool and quiet new A/C. I give them a 5 star rating because they deserved it. Thank you! Thank You! Thank You!

Ace Plumbing did everything we wanted for the best price after shopping around. They successfully installed a 50 gallon water heater, and installed a water line to our fridge. Unlike some of the other plumbing companies, they were not going to put drywall back over the hole from the wall they were going to cut, and that was fine.

We discovered a leak from the ice box, and we noticed it wasn't tightened. They came back in a little under a week, and fixed the problem, and this time covered the hole with drywall. I understand mistakes happen, but it's a little bit of a problem. They also didn't test it when they finished, but i also understand they worked a long day at our place.

I would recommend Ace Plumbing for the price, friendliness of their staff, and the fact they came back and fixed their mistake. I would absolutely call them again for our plumbing needs.

We had Ace come out today to perform an inspection on our A/C unit. We have had bad experiences in the past with other local HVAC companies claiming our unit was seconds from disaster, and warning that if we waited until mid-summer and had a problem we'd have to wait weeks or months until they could get to us, when in reality nothing was wrong at all. So I'm always on guard when companies come out.

Not with Ace though. Aaron Gilis came out today and did a full inspection on the A/C. He was on time, friendly, and extremely knowledgable. He noted one minor issue but stressed that it did not require immediate repair and in fact could go for some time without needing any work on it. I appreciate honest service people. When you find a good one, stick with them. Give Ace a try on your next HVAC service.

I have an Apollo Hydroheat meaning my hot water heater and heater are a 2 in 1. Before I could even place a service call the receptionist wanted to send 2 specialists (1 for the heater and 1 for the hot water heater) at 69.99 each. I told him I had a Apollo Hydroheat and at the time I didn't know the heater was affected by the hot water heater. I'm happy I did my research before allowing them to rip me off $70! A pros

Here's an update. Scott from Ace Plumbing Heating & Air called me to say he was concerned about the review I wrote. As we talked about my concerns he offered to send someone out to straighten the water heater and make any other adjustments. When I shared my main concern was with the two month warranty Scott said he would provide a one year warranty. Scott sent me a revised copy of the invoice stating that the work has a one year warranty. Service wise, Scott was genuinely concerned and wanted to ensure I was satisfied with his company. Because of his genuine concern, I would bump the service to 5 stars.

Ace Plumbing is AMAZING!! This review is for Curt (I hope I spelled it right) lol. My fiance and I just moved into a new rental and surprisingly we were welcomed to a freezing cold house cause the heater went out.

We reached out to our manager who got in contact with Ace Plumbing. Upon Curt's arrival he called to make sure I was home and it was okay for him to come by. I asked him to get here as fast as he could jokingly of course. When he arrived he was very sweet, got right to work, and explained everything as best as he could. He even gave us some other very insightful information about other future problems we could prevent.

While he fixed on the heater my fiance and I hide out in the kitchen trying to give Curt space while he worked but he continued to keep us informed on what he was doing and even welcomed us to watch. The greatest part about this whole experience was that he was QUICK and so very sweet! Our manager had asked to be contacted before completing the job (i guess based on the price) after all 3 of us calling multiple times Curt made the call and said Well,I'm just going to continue to fix the problem. It's cold and raining I couldn't imagine leaving you guys without heat. Our manager called shortly after approving him to continue although he was already done but he could of gave us a hard time. Curt you are AMAZING! Your customer service will keep any company in business. Keep up the great work!! Highly recommend this company and HIGHLY recommend Curt. Thank you again!!

At this point all I can say is they showed up on time. The guy walking around telling me he didn't know what the problem was annoying but I've been there. He told me he would call his crazy friend that's not a tweaker but a specialist at finding leaks to find the problem seriously concerned me. The crazy friend didn't bother me, it was the not a tweaker tag that bothered me. At this point I'm charged $79 with the promise of his return with a specialist. He showed up on time again but without his specialist (the guy that's not a tweaker) walks around again, turns the water on then tells me I don't know. As a tradesman I understand sometimes thing don't make sense at first and it takes time to find the problem, but the presentation of the staff caused me great concern. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and work with them to solve my problem, but coming at this from the perspective of a high end car tradesman I do have my concerns.

Ace has done a number of minor jobs for me. No job is too small. They stand behind their work; I had an issue with a drain repair leaking, and they came back and resolved under warranty even though the issue turned out to be slightly upstream of their work. On another job, they told me how to go about getting a special order part because they would have had to charge me for the research and sitting on hold. It ended up being fairly economical with this division of labor. I would recommend Ace highly!

Outstanding service! We started by making a call because we were having issues with the fan. They came out and were able to fix the same day. My husband already knew our unit was over 25 years old and we were due for a new one. They were incredible! Gave us information and never pressured a sale. They were exactly what we needed; informative, understanding that we needed time, and even took the time and gave us options based on our research. We decided to replace the system, and today we meet Eric and Zane, incredibly professional and kind. They got the job done in one day when we had expected possibly 2. Eric and Zane were so respectful of our home, and were always apologetic if there was a loud sound (which we anticipated would happen with this type of work), but acknowledgement of this says so much about their professionalism. Oh gosh! Came home from work yesterday and it was hotter inside than out was outside!! That's just wrong!! I made a call today to my trusted hvac company, Ace Plumbing and asked if Dennis could come out to save the day. Karen, in customer service said she'd call me right back. 10 minutes later, she called to tell me he'd be out this afternoon. Just a few minutes latter, Dennis called to confirm an appointment between 230 and 3. Right on cue at about 225, Dennis called tip say he'd be here art about 3. Now it wasn't as hot as it HAS been, but it felt like 95 in the house!! Within about 30 minutes I was sitting in my living room, nice and cool. Dennis to the rescue once again!!!

We been having a sewer smell come thru our house when we run our whole house fan . Ivan from ace came out. He checked all the drains, even went up in the attic looking for dead animals.
He finally determined it was coming from a bath tub drain that had evaporated over time. It seem to be most logical dianogious, since that tub hasn't been used in months.
He recommended to clean tub drain with baking soda and distilled vinegar.

Terrible. Long story short my toilets and tubs were backing up in our property, called ace, they came out did the job and left a big open sewage main and hole in the front yard. My husband calls me livid. I call ace, speak with Scott, hey Scott what's up with the hole your workers left in the front yard? He puts me on hold, gets back on the phone with me and says,My guys say the owner asked them to leave the sewage main/hole open, he said to not cover it up. How does that sound? Who wants a sewage hole in their front yard? I said,no Scott, no way, my husband is not happy. then he replies,well if you want us to cover it up it'll cost extra, or you can put a board over it yourself and it'll cost you nothing. So I politely get off of the phone as to maintain my lady like demeanor. Long story short, lazy, unprofessional, crooks. And one star is too much.

We used ACE for years in our rental home for plumbing and they always did a great job. Recently we wanted to have our home Heat pump Trane unit on a regular maintenance schedule. When the service was done we thought nothing of it. But the next day while working in my home office I heard the fan trying to come on and the unit didn't sound right. I called Aaron the tech who came out the first time and he came right back to see what was going on. He could not finish the job but called another tech (Curtis) who did some more troubleshooting work. He found the issue and because it was late on Friday no part store were open. However, the first thing Monday I got a text letting me know that Aaron had located the part and he would be out as soon a possible. We had A/C by 3, It was a journey to find the part but I am impressed with the service. Thank you

I just used Ace Plumbing yesterday to fix a blockage in our kitchen drain through the cleanout. After doing the work the technician John Z. recommended we schedule a hydro Jet clean which would give our pipes a lot better flow and a longer life. John was on time both days, was great in his explanation of the work needed, and did an overall fantastic job. I highly recommend when calling Ace ask for John.

Ace plumbing is amazing. I needed a gas line removed ordered by pge.
After two no shows from other plumbers I called ace. I'm so glad I did.
Ivan came in and crawled under my house and found I had an odd pipe system. It took him a bit but he found where it originated and removed it quick and easy. And for a fraction of what roto rooter quoted me and they were in the wrong spot lol. I'm glad roto no showed on us.
Ivan is great.
If you need plumbing done he knows what he's doing.
Kind of off topic but during his search for my gas line he informed me that part of my house was actually an add on that nobody told me about.

Kitchen drain developed a leak that I tried to fix but stopped when I saw the pipe was cracked. They came within 2 hours, built a new section of pipe using stock on their truck and fixed it properly. Last Sunday both of my mothers toilets weren't flushing. Yikes! I called Ace at 6:50pm and by 7:30pm they were at my moms. Marisio, sorry about spelling, was awesome. Two of them fixed the problem and were out of there by 8:15pm. Marisio explained what they did and gave my mom a bill, that she could pay on Monday. Who does that? Everything about Ace is fabulous. We had multiple issues going on at our house. During an annual pest inspection, we found out our waste water was leaking under the house and our hot water tank was out. Our home warranty was taking too long to get us help, so I researched on Yelp and found Ace. They were beyond helpful; starting from when I called their office, they immediately scheduled me that afternoon for their technician Joe to come out and assess the problems. We were scheduled right in the next day for hot water heater replacement and replace/fix pipe under house. Joe and Randy came out and did a great, great job. They answered all questions/concerns I had. I highly recommend this company and they will forever be my go to.

100% scam!!!! Plumber came out and told us we had to replace main drainage pipes ASAP for 6k. The thing is - he didn't even examine the main drainage pipe! I'm glad I got another plumber to give a second opinion, and he said everything was fine.

We woke up to a cold house and discovered our furnace was not working. We called Ace, and immediately received a call back from Curtis, a technician, who promised to check our unit by early afternoon. We texted him back, so he text messaged us his estimated ETA and updated with his exact ETA. He arrived on time wearing his uniform and introduced himself. He wore shoe covers inside our house. He asked a few questions, then immediately started his inspection. He quickly assessed our issue and explained what we needed for the repair, including a ballpark cost quote. He left our house to get a part and returned within the hour to the job. He shared his evaluation of the condition and estimated life of our current system and suggested ways to keep it operational for as long as possible. Curtis was extremely professional, pleasant, courteous, informative, and quick. We couldn't be more pleased with his service. We highly recommend Ace to you!

I had an emergency call for our water heater. It is an older tank and we weren't getting any hot water. We called Ace Plumbing, not only was the dispatcher extremely courteous, but they sent someone out within an hour. Instead of a ridiculous repair bill, we got amazing news. This was an older tank that just needed to be flushed out. The tank was so old that they don't even make them anymore. They suggested replacing it in the future, but charged us a minimal service charge and fixed the problem. We would highly recommend Ace Plumbing again. We are now using them for our heating and air work that also had problems. We had a new system put in and our extremely happy. We had a quote from another company that has been on the news. The price they quoted us was ridiculous so we called back Ace for the Air conditioning and couldn't be happier.

Our AC went out in triple digit weather. We got same day service and his estimated time was correct. I like that he updated us on his arrival time. Martin was so friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Martin educated us on airflow and temperature with ACs. Martin made sure the house cooled before he left. I know we might have been his last customer on the very very hot day and last customer of a heatwave holiday weekend and it being Tuesday, Martin had a smile on his face and was concerned about our needs and comfort. Our house had some hot water issues in the guest bathroom, thanks to a shower cartridge filled with sediment. Ace Plumbing was there to save the day!!! They had flexible appointments, and a superb response time. The biggest advantage: They listen. Was never offered any options just their most expensive unit.It was over 100 degrees so they had us by the balls and they ran with it.It has not worked as it should since day one.I get excuse's and no results. No. No. No. No. Everything that was touched by the plumbers either doesn't work well, is broken, or piped improperly. After they left, I had to hire someone else to fix the job. The primary plumber was also rude, disinterested, and charged me significantly more than what he quoted me. Save yourself the money, time, headache, and energy and find another plumber. Please! Don't say I didn't warn you.

If, somehow, you mistakenly still call them, and you get Jerry as your plumber, don't let him in!

Ok, this complaint is not about the service, because service wise they get 5 stars! We woke up Sunday morning and our heater wasn't working. It was 60 degrees in our house. We have a 1 year old, so we kind of need heat. I called ACE since they had just replaced the heater at my in-laws and we were told that they did a really good job. So I called and left a message for someone to call me back. In 5 minutes I was on the phone with one of the repair guys. He said he'd be there within the hour. 20 minutes later he was ringing my door bell. Sam was very nice. Took him 5 minutes to figure out what was going to. We had to have the hot surface ignighter replaced. Sam told me it was $265. I balked, but figured that's what the part costs. In addition to the $265, I had to pay $80 for them just to come out. Ok, I get it, they need to make money too. Well, today I looked online and the hot surface ignighter costs $20 - $30. So I called ACE and the person who answered the phone said the $265 is their flat fee. Ok, well, what's the flat fee consist of? Then she told me that it included labor. Ok, I get it. One hour of labor is $146. Ok. So that means that the part is marked up 4 times? She couldn't answer that. I am currently waiting for their manager Mike to call me back with some kind of explanation. I mean $80 for them to come out, $146 for a hour of labor (even though Sam was done in about 30 minutes) and THEN 4 times the price of the part. I think that's a little much!

So the manager called me back and basically said the flat rate book tells them to bill $265 for the part and labor and that's what they charge and tough luck. So needless to say, we won't be calling them again.

Our realtor scheduled Ace to do some work on our house when we were getting it ready for sale. Mauricio was so great to work with, that we have been requesting him for our new house. We probably won't ever work with a different plumber again - he is so friendly and helpful. He gave us great advice on things we can do ourselves, which really speaks to his honesty. We had such a great experience, we hired Ace for our HVAC. Our tech, Curtis, has also been amazing... the same experience with feeling like we are getting honest, quality service. He is replacing our whole system and personally helped us set up financing. He even called the financing company to check-in on things for us. He really went the extra mile. We had horrible experiences with previous HVAC companies at our old house, so it's been refreshing to work with such someone so trustworthy and friendly. I rarely write reviews, but we've had such a great experience with both Mauricio and Curtis that I felt compelled to write one.

Last night our A/C thermostat was not working so I decided to give this place a call . Best decision I made because now I have our go to guy Martin Millhouse! I received the absolute best service. Had to call a plumber just after midnight when something (thank goodness not sewer water!)bathtubs filled up, toilets overflowed, yikes. Cold called this company: the plumber arrived within 20 minutes, diagnosed it promptly, cleaned out the main drain and checked to be sure everything was ok. Price extremely fair. Definitely a place I would recommend. Courteous, competent, prompt.

I had a bathtub hot water faucet continually leaking in my Orangevale home, and two previous plumbing outfits only put O-rings in it to fix it, which never lasted. Neither of them ever mentioned what the faucet actually needed. I called Ace Plumbing this time, and Richard came out and did a lasting fix to my faucet. It needed a new stem which he picked up and installed. He also made some adjustments to my toilet to make it operate much better.

Very satisfied with Ace and the repairs that Richard completed in a professional manner. Also, they answer the phone when you call, unlike some other plumbers who have no staff to do so, and are too busy to talk when you call them because they are in the middle of a job and never call back.

I highly recommend Ace Plumbing & Heating for any HVAC issues. I have complete confidence in their technician Martin. He's honest and a truly excellent technician. When my old heater wouldn't turn on, he diagnosed that its circuit board was faulty. He explained the problem, showed me the burnt areas on the circuit board, and replaced it. The heater now works perfectly. Other companies would have tried to sell me a new system. Martin and ACE are honest. Hard to find these days. When my other old HVAC system was beyond repair, Martin explained why and his team replaced it. They did a great job. ACE and Martin have earned my trust and loyalty. If you want someone who can fix the problem, if it can be fixed, go to ACE and ask for Martin. They are trustworthy and highly skilled. Can't go wrong with them.

Our 23 year old water heater started leaking Sunday night and I called Ace Plumbing. John W arrived promptly and determined the heater itself was leaking. Even worse the supply shutoff valve was corroded and would not shut off. We got a verbal estimate and he would return on Monday morning with a new heater. Included in the estimate was upgrades to bring the gas line up to code and the new heater. John W arrived Monday and did a great job. It's been 104/105 here in Sac and my air went out. I called on Monday and they sent someone over that day! AWESOME customer service! My Technician Arron came to the rescue. Checked out my unit ordered the part and boom I have air again. He was so helpful and informative. This is the only company to call! 24 hour service and they actually deliver!!! The evening of Friday December 6th at approx. 7pm our central heating unit stopped working in the midst of a terrible storm front moving through the area. As parents of a newborn we were somewhat in a bit of a panic, to say the least. Upon looking online we called Ace based on reviews and comments. Also the 24hr service availability being a tremendous plus. To my amazement a gentleman actually answered the phone and assured us that a repairman would arrive between the hours of 8-10pm. The vast majority of companies utilize an answering service with no guarantee of a response.
At approx. 7:45pm Jeremy arrived and assured us that he would take care of us and that everything would work out for our little one. After troubleshooting Jeremy worked on several issues and our heating unit was working better than new. Jeremy also pointed out to me that all of the heating vents should be opened in order for the unit to function at its best and optimize performance. Jeremy went the extra steps for our family's care and needs. A true professional in every regard and highly recommended.
My family owned and operated an independent grocery store for 20 years and this level of service only derives from a company with great values and commitment to service and staff.
We were once again surprised to receive a follow up call from Jeremy to make sure that our heating unit was online and functioning to our satisfaction. What a pleasant way to conduct business.

I had my old (20 yrs) garbage disposal literally blow out. I called a wonderful woman at Ace Plumbing & Heating. Karen took my info, and she was sure they could help right away. John and his helper showed up within the hour. They took out the old one, popped in a bigger and better one, and boom! I'm back in business! The workers were very polite and wore their masks. I called for service on my air unit, already knowing it should be replaced soon along with my hot water heater. They were both original to my house and had seen better days. Aaron Gillis came out and serviced my air unit but also quoted me on a new unit and hot water heater at my request. He quoted me a fantastic price for AC/furnace unit and my water heater. Honestly, ACE was great! We had a leak that we thought was coming from a toilet, but I could not find the leak myself. I initially called Trenchless, but they said they were slammed, and recommended ACE. Their dispatcher said their guy would be out within an hour, and 30 minutes later, there he was. He agreed that it was the toilet, and found the wax ring was really worn out, and replaced it. In and out in like 30 minutes. Unfortunately, this was not the leak. We have laminate flooring, and it started swelling up. Bruce came out again, and upon further inspection found the actual leak- the waste water line from our water softener was improperly hooked into the waste water lines, and had a constant trickle coming out- the original installer had just drilled a hole in the drain line, jammed the softener's waste line in it, and smeared it with PVC cement. Once discovered, the issue was fixed within 2 hours.
Great service, Bruce was very personable, and even did some other minor jobs for free. Will certainly make use of these guys again.

Had a major toilet leak over the holiday weekend and called a few places to ask questions/get estimates. Ace was very helpful on the phone and I decided to have them come out. Gerry was at my house a few hours later to diagnose and fix the problem. He was very efficient and explained the issue. As timing would have it, my garbage disposal went out a few days earlier and after meeting Gerry I asked if he could come back the following week to replace/install my disposal. UGh. I don't like writing negative reviews, but unfortunately have to because I am very disappointed with Ace Plumbing. Had clogged toilets and called for help. Two plumbers came out, both with chew in their cheeks - Spitting onto lawn as they were explaining the process to unclog. 2 1/2 hours later they still were unable to fix. Told me I had to call City of Sac to locate main or get the schematics for property. Huh? Called the city and they responded immediately. They told me it wasn't a city issue and that there were no schematics available. Blah, blah, blah. The city then returned a couple days later with as much info as they had. They informed me this was the plumbers responsibility and they went over and beyond - shout out to them. Called another company who cleared the clog in less than 45 mins. Easy as that. The clincher is that Ace charged me almost $400 for trying to fix the problem. They left me with non- working toilets and still charged me! I paid because they did attempt and I felt that they deserved something for their effort. In hindsight, I should have contested the charge and only paid a portion. My lesson learned. This is a company that my office building.uses as well and they are coming back today to fix leaky toilet that was just installed ($950) 2 weeks ago. Needless to say, my building will not be using their services either and that's a big account

Martin the Technician from Ace went the extra mile to diagnose and solve the problem with my air conditioning. A Garick technician had been out twice previously with no success, and told me I would have to pay for the third visit With no solution!!!! I had been happy using Ace for plumbing issues, and was so thankful I contacted them for the air.

I found Ace Plumbing after calling 8 24 hour plumbing companies that told me they wouldn't be able to come out until the morning (it was only 6pm). My home warranty company had failed me! They failed to present a plumber when I called during normal business hours and I was left to find my own plumber to get the problem solved.

My rental property has a water heater on the second floor that had completely rusted and was leaking down to the 1st floor. Ace Plumbing got all the necessary information, and sent out John Hayes with a brand new water heater just in case it did need to be replaced that evening. John was my saving grace!!! After working all day he stayed until midnight replacing the water heater. He explained the entire process and had my best interests in mind. I can't thank John enough for his hard work and dedication that evening. I would highly recommend John and Ace Plumbing.

I had my main line replaced and they were able to work with me to save $2000. They used the trenchless method and let me do all the digging and back filling to save half the cost. Other companies would not change the price if I did the digging. It was a lot of work but I didn't have that extra money. They did great work and we're very pleasant to deal with. This was a very professional company from start to finish. I was referred to Aaron Gilis from friends that had just had their HVAC system replaced by Aaron and his installation crew.
Aaron showed up on-time when he provided the estimate for my new HVAC system; he was very patient and clear when he explained the options that would work best for my house. The installation crew (Eric, Zane, Jorge) also showed up on-time each day they performed work at my house. They were incredibly courteous, safe (wearing masks inside my house), and CLEAN!

Finding a plumber can be a lot like trying to find an honest mechanic - you've obviously called them because something you're not familiar with isn't working properly and all your left to do is trust that you're being told the truth.

I've been using Ace Plumbing for years now and have always been extremely satisfied and impressed with the honesty and professionalism from the technicians I've dealt with. My wife and I recently purchased a home and after a few months began having issues with our heater. The technician, Dennis, was on-time, thorough in identifying and explaining the issue to us and left the work area cleaner than before he'd arrived. He was even courteous enough to recognize our 1 month old sleeping in the living room and politely kept the noise level at a minimum trying not to wake him.

I can also say that I even refer my 70 year old mother to Ace when she calls me with a plumbing or heating & air problem that I can't take care of myself. I've never had to worry about her being misled or overcharged and the gal who works in the office, Poppy, even applies their senior discount without my mother even asking about it.

In a nutshell - Ace Plumbing has been an honest and reliable company with competitive rates, professional technicians and customer service that has gone above and beyond.

We had a leaky toilet last Friday night, called around to other companies and they couldn't get to us until Saturday afternoon with a consulting fee of $185. We needed someone ASAP as the water was leaking into the other room and we were concerned with flooding. Called Ace and they were able to send a technician within two hours. Joe was very friendly, informative and fixed the problem in a matter of minutes. Best of all, he only charged us the consulting fee of $89.50! We were expecting to pay a much higher fee since it was after hours, but were amazed that he was so helpful and honest, especially since he could've charged us a lot more since we were taking time out of his Friday night. I will continue to use Ace for my future plumbing needs and will not even bother with other companies. He gave us peace of mind and confidence that he issue was fixed and that there wouldn't be any other leaking due to this issue in the future. Glad to find a plumber we can trust!

Air went out and we have a 93 year old woman with breathing problems. I would say that is considered an emergency! Nope! They took their time, 4 days and then it does not cool the house! After another 3 days the guy comes out and tells us that it's psychological. WTF? He said he keeps his thermostat at 79. I don't care what he likes. We need it at 73 for our grandmother! It never went below 78 and then rose to 90 at 5pm! So, he is telling us we aren't hot. Low 79 at 3am then up to 90 at 5pm! The temp goes up! This is NOT acceptable and I will be posting all over until they fix it!

UPDATE!! After politely insulting all 3 women here, beating around the bush as to why it was REALLY not hot in the house (90 degrees) this guy tried everything he could imagine, from vents on backwards to it being psychological to not have to admit he messed up the work order and estimate. We wondered why his bid was 1k cheaper than everyone else. He FINALLY said, Oh, I somehow missed some damaged parts. I'm telling you I was irate and not nice at all after the psycho implication. He DID fix it! It's an iceberg in here now. BUT, I cannot recommend them. I feel like one of those pink hat wearing women who complain about the treatment from men. I have never felt like I was being treated badly because I am a woman. The fact he tried to play off his mistake by implying we were so stupid that we didn't even know we were really cool is maddening! But whatever! I learned something from this. I hope he did too, the jerk!

I called Ace because the thermostate would not turn on and there was water leaking in the furnace. I paid 70$ for a manager to come out. The manager never even took a tool out, dug into the system or looked at the thermostate. All he did was glance at my furnace and repeatedly ask me how much did you pay for your condenser? . Which I thought was strange. He said it would be difficult to repair the system.

The end result was a quote for $6800.00 for a new furnace and coil. My house is only 820 square feet and can easily replace the entire system for half the price. The quickest $70 I have ever paid for absolutely nothing.

I called Ace to ask about customer satisfaction and asked if they would send someone else out for a second opinion. They told me if the company sent out a technician and I was not satisfied then the company would send out a second technician or Manager. If the company sent a manager out, the company will not send another person out.

I believe the company acted in bad faith and set on installing new systems instead of repairing the system as requested by the client.

12/19/18 I am posting an update to my previous review.
My rating went down due to the experience I have had this past week. We had a plumbing problem so I called and ACE came out quickly. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a quote and said they would be back Tuesday to do the work.
They finally arrived Tuesday afternoon after 3:00 pm.
They went to do the work and had an electrical problem. Parker let me know at 4:45 that I needed an electrician to come out ASAP before they could finish the work. He assured me that he had me set up for the night and everything would be ok. I started receiving calls in the evening that we had no hot water! Everything was not ok!
I got in very early this morning to meet the electrician and also call ACE to let them know we were having more trouble.
When the electrician arrived he was very upset #1 to discover we called him out for a tripped breaker, #2 that the plumbers haven't even connected the pump, no wonder we had no hot water. The electrician called back to ACE plumbing with me and explained the fiasco. I was not able to speak to a supervisor, I was told by Poppy they would have to call me back.
I then called the plumber Parker directly and the electrician let him know that he had hooked up the pump and completed the work for him and he didn't need to come back. He also suggested as I did that we shouldn't be charged for the work that ACE did not complete.
We received no discount on the job and actually not even an apology.
I am very disappointed and appalled that we are paying approximately $800 labor for one hour and forty five minutes labor and someone else completed the work.

My grandmother's kitchen sink was clogged. She called Ace Plumbing and they came right away. The plumber that came out said he was unable to snake the drain due to an old fitting and would have to come back out with additional help the next day, open the wall and replace the fitting. The estimate for this service was $1800, which she declined to have done. He charged her $108 for coming out (and not fixing anything). My mother referred her to Roy's Plumbing. He came out first thing the next morning, fixed the clogged sink within 30 minutes and charged her less than Ace did. If you're looking for an honest plumber that's going to get the job done and isn't just out for a quick buck...avoid Ace Plumbing!!! Call Roy's Plumbing!

Martin and Mark returned on a service call to reevaluate the airflow into my home. Martin is incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable and did a solar evaluation of my incoming heat sources and where heat is coming from. Martin made prudent suggestions to assist me in continuing to keep my home cool during the summer months. A fabulous company with outstanding workers who care about customer service.

Mark was helpful in making a couple of suggestions in staying hydrated drinking coconut water and water together.

My bad-- just realized I posted this under the wrong Ace Plumbing Co (one in SF-- sorry we're not in SF).

Today, Monday (written on June 5) -- had Todd from Ace out again-- this time for my toilet--it kept running and wouldn't stop till you giggled the handle. Knew this wouldn't last forever. Was originally going to have Todd replace the guts-- but while at Home Depot on Sunday went down the plumbing isle and seen some reasonably priced American Standard toilets-- and low and belhold they were shorter than my current throne which isn't comfortable when you're not really tall.

Todd removed the old toilet & installed my my new just right toilet.

Again, no matter the plumbing issue-- call Ace, you won't be disappointed.

A few weeks ago, and of course on a Sunday, without warning my three toilets suddenly backed up and were flooding the bathroom floors. I called four plumbing services... one of them responded within ten minutes and the other three responses ranged from 30 t0 40 minutes.

The company who responded was ACE! Ivan Stapleton was at the house within twenty minutes and in less than an hour, the problem was solved.

Of course that kind of service is great, but, beyond that, Ivan was friendly, extremely efficient, really knew his stuff and was great at letting me know what had caused the problem and how to avoid it in the future. He even ran a camera through the entire system to assure there were no other pending issues.

At those times when you are vulnerable it is nice to know there are professionals who will address the problem, in fast order, and not take advantage of the situation. ACE and Ivan are my go-to for all future plumbing matters... and I have already recommended them to friends.

Absolutely hands down the BEST plumbing outfit in the Sacramento area!

Our house in Folsom is suffering from pinholes in the 3/4 copper pipes that were installed in the 1980's. Three pin hole leaks in two weeks in the attic destroying the ceiling. Ace Plumbing is FAST and friendly and you don't have to sell your first born to get a job done right! Excellent dispatch service too and all three technicians that came to house were great people!

Bottom line is that it is all about customer service and these guys do it absolutely right! Use them!

I'm so happy with my new heat pump system! The installers, Mike, Tim, Jeffrey and Jorge were skilled, fast, and professional in every way. The technician, Curtis, was remarkably knowledgeable, a great planner, thorough with attention to detail, and straightforward.

I hesitated about installing a heat pump system. My concerns were the maturity of the technology for an average home, and the level of expertise about installation that could be expected. Every home, especially older ones, has peculiarities (mine had many) that need an informed and creative solution.

Through Ace, Curtis came for a consultation about system replacement. We discussed the modern versions of both conventional AC/furnace systems and heat pumps, modern codes and efficiencies, and those house peculiarities.

He was open about the need to address the ancient and leaky ductwork in the attic and the ductwork under the house (one peculiarity). The problems would have to be corrected no matter the system.

Curtis gave me the information about the make/models of systems that they would install so that I could research performance and reliability. He answered all my questions about how the different systems worked, installation, and dealing with the house peculiarities. He gave me estimates for both system types, and explained the rebate and tax write-offs that could be applied.

I ultimately decided that the smartest choice was a heat pump system. It works great!

I have a small rental unit that needed new gas lines run to the HVAC, stove, and hot water heater. The technician came out and gave me a bid for over $5000! He indicated that it would take a couple of workers 2 days....
I had another gentleman come by around noon... Laughed at Ace's bid...gave me a breakdown of less than $500 in materials, $600 in labor!
He started work within the hour and completed in right at 5 hours!
PG&E came out that evening, inspected and tested everything and signed off on the work and turned back on the gas! The entire job came in below $1100....

I don't understand how a company can get away with charging 5 times more than the job should cost??

Do yourself a favor and save time by not wasting time with Ace !

My parents' home was built in 1952, while using the shower, water started backing up in the tub. So they called Ace plumbing. My mother has been using Ace plumbing for the last year, she chose them by opening the yellow pages, and obviously they were listed near the beginning of the yellow pages. Ace comes out and the water had drained, the plumber turned a few faucets, and then charged my parents the $79 minimum. 3 days later sewage is coming up through the tub. My parents called Ace again. Turns out the sewer line was blocked, so they cleared it, but raw sewage had piled up on the side of the house. The plumber said they do not clean that up, charged them $250 and left without even recommending a company who could clean it up. I had my parents call the plumber that I use, Domco, they recommended a company that could clean it up, and that company came and cleaned it right up, $500 more.

Last week my main water line into my house broke. Cody came out and repaired the line. After the repair, it was discovered that my kitchen faucet and two shower heads were clogged. My water was back on the same day, unlike another company that tried to upsell me as well as saying I wouldn't have water for 24 hours. Cody and Devin came back the next day, installed the faucet, shower heads and filled in the hole(we left it open just in case it was leaking from another area). All seemed good until the day after and my toilets started running. Cody and Devin were able to come out in 30 minutes and replaced all the floats in the toilets, due to mud clogs also. This was unexpected since they were working. Everything is back to normal and the kitchen faucet that Cody recommended is great. Ace, Cody and Devin were very responsive to my needs and made this mess easier to deal with. They answered any questions I had.

Toilets backed up today and so did the washer machine drain. Made a huge mess and it was a little more than I could handle. It's never a good day when you have AC or plumbing trouble. But Ace Plumbing Heating and Air made a not so good day, a wonderful day. I had a job at my rental property and needed to get it taken care of pretty fast since I had tenants moving in. Jesse came out and took a look at the job the same day I called him! He gave me a quote and was working on it within a few days. It was a pretty big job replacing a sewer line so I was very grateful that he was able to get started and finished so quickly and not effect my renters moving in. We have been on their semi-annual maintenance plan for years now. We have only had one bad (must be starting another business on the side) employee. All the service men, we have used them for both plumbing and heat/air, have been very upfront and honest. The one heat/air guy though made us not renew our contract. All the other heat/air service guys through the years told us our system was old but if we took care of it and supplied it with a few new parts it would last us for years. It is already 24 years old. This one guy tells us we need a new system yada yada yada oh and can I send you some information about installing a new system. I think I'm going to start my own business. Well we didn't renew after we had been using them for years. We thought what is this place coming to. Well to make a long story short, our heater fan has been running and running and running and so my husband says I'll call ACE. He renewed a maintenance agreement with them. They came out did a service and found a fuse out. They replaced the fuse for free...however, my husband was quoted a semi-annual maintenance plan at 138.00. The technician said it went up it's 178.00 and I said why did it go up so much it used to only be 106.00 a year. He him hawed about the prices went up etc... We paid the 178 and sent him on his merry way. I called today and was told it is 138.00 and she'd ask Ray what was going on and call me back. I didn't receive a call all day. I'll call back tomorrow. All in all we will use them again for either plumbing and/or heat/air. The technicians have always been honest and upfront expect the one entrepreneur and we have always been satisfied with the service.

Nothing is more stressful to a home owner than when the heating & air conditioning breaks down! Aaron was the first technician who came over to take a look. He was friendly, thorough and very honest about what was wrong with our system, replacement needs and finance options. As soon as we made the decision to go forward with the new system, Aaron was there to make sure all paperwork was done correctly, installation was scheduled and what we were to expect! On installation day Jermey, Juan & Nick were on time, friendly, efficient and communicated on every facet of the installation. I've tried them all over the years. Thought they were good. I was even somewhat satisfied.
Then I tried ACE! Didn't know how bad other businesses were until I called ACE after a friend gave them a good recommendation. I had a backed up kitchen drain. I did get some bids but went with the recommendation. Being a do it yourselfer on some things i tried to remedy it. Got nowhere so I called. Talked to Jerry. He worked with me and had a tech there on my time and at a time that was convenient to me. His name was Manuel. This employee was the kind of guy every business owner wish he had more of. He was mannerly, knowledgeable and got right down to business.
The kicker was that he beat the rates of other outfits by a long shot. I am sold on ACE!

AC had a refrigerant leak and long story short all of my refrigerant was gone. On a recommendation from my roofer, Aaron came out did a pressure test and found source of leak pretty quick. He didn't have the materials on hand to fix right away so we re-scheduled for a later date.

He came on time and as promised and fixed the issue. I ask a lot of questions and he was really accommodating in answering those questions thoroughly. I was surprised at how fast he was able to fix the issue. In about hour and half he was able to pull a new line braise the leak and refill my refrigerant.

My original review was filtered and purged for violating the review guidelines somehow. I'm not sure if it's because I mentioned the plumber's first and last name or because I posted the estimates of the three companies I contacted about the job. Everything I wrote was 100% factually accurate.

What I do know is that the plumber from ACE did exactly what needed to be done quickly and professionally for a third of the highest estimate I received. Unprompted, he actually suggested the most economical way of making the repair. The other two companies proposed a much more extensive and costly amount of work to solve the same problem. It's been about a year now and the repair to my pipe has held up perfectly.

A pipe had broken off my water heater and my wife called Ace for a quote. Brandon arrived in a timely manner. He was polite and gave my wife a quote $755.00 which include labor,parts and inspection fee of $89.00. He told my wife that the pipe needed to be cut and re- threaded and the valve needed replacing.Later in the day,I came home and I looked at the pipe and there was no existing thread nor did the existing 3/4 compound coupling have any. That made me suspicious. I said no way this repair can cost $755. I took the couplling to H.D. and was told this part doesn't need threading and that the rubber piece that goes around was worn out. Easy fix. I sawed off 2 inches of the broken pipe and smothed out the ends. Done. Took me 30 minutes. Mind you, I have no plumbers experience and I just watch a YouTube video and asked some questions. Total cost for parts,$21.00. I got two other quotes and quoted $200-250. That was reasonable. I feel he was taking advantage of a woman by over charging and he lied about what needed to be done. I called him and politely questioned him how he came up with a quote of $755. He couldn't give a straight answer. I asked how much was the parts. He couldnt answer. How much time will it take to complete the job? He says around two hours. The numbers weren't adding up. With the inspection cost of $89 and parts of $21,we are at $110.That leaves us $645 in labor for two hours? That would be $322 per hour. When I question him about labor cost per hour,he stated he makes $248 per hour. He lied to my wife and lied to me. WHERE ARE THE HONEST PLUMBERS AROUND HERE? DONT DO BUISNESS WITH COMPANY

My water main failed and I had no water. I called ACE and Ivan was my tech. He made excellent recommendations in a bad situation. He got a temporary line hooked up and rerouted my main, since the break was under the driveway. The job was complete in the estimated time and all the plumbing work was fantastic. After the city inspected the work ACE put back my landscaping and you can't tell they were even there. Great job.

I contacted Ace at 8:00 am, the women on the phone was very nice and said she could have someone out to my house between 10 am and noon. Ryan the technician arrived at 11:55 am, I'm already impressed. He was very nice, he went directly to my kitchen, looked under my sink where I had a large leak. Ryan looked at the hoses, he immediately determined there was a crack in my P-Trap, he went right too work , replacing the P-Trap and did a few minor adjustments so that it wouldn't crack.

I will only use Ace for any plumbing problems and request Ryan for the Technician, he is very knowledgeable, goes right to work and I trusted him . He is a great representative for the company, Thank you for fixing my plumbing problem in less then two hours, your an outstanding technician.

Had the company come over to replace two leaking faucets and find out why my dishwasher was leaking. the serviceman was prompt, professional and courteous. the two new faucets work wonderfully. the dishwasher, not so much. the first time i used it after the repair it leaked. when I called the company they said they had no guarantee policy and that they would waive the service call but still charge me an hourly rate. really??!! to fix something they said was fixed but wasn't?!! really? what kind of racket is that. charge you to fix something, not fix it, and then charge me to fix it again? will never use the company again! and will warn others not to use it either.

I've used Ace for 7 years since we moved to Woodbridge Ranch in Roseville for everything from HVAC seasonal service, a plumbing leak, checking and cleaning our sewer line, and even clearing roots from drain pipes in our yard. I find them to be on-time and reasonably priced. I'm writing this review after Joe came out last week to replace a valve in a leading shower faucet and just seemed particularly pleasant and helpful...even cleaning out our faucet screens in the bathroom as a preventative maintenance measure without being asked. I can recommend them.

When we experienced a plumbing issue, I went on Nextdoor to see what service my neighbors recommended, and Ace was the number one recommendation. Upon calling Ace, I spoke with a friendly woman who clearly communicated their pricing structure and asked if I wanted a tech to come that evening for an additional $10 fee. The fee felt more than fair, and when our tech Ivan arrived less than an hour later he was courteous, professional, and wore both a mask and boot covers to protect our floors (and us from Covid.) He worked quickly, and within a few moments had diagnosed our issue and given us clear instruction as to our next steps. Will post again once the job is complete, but so far so good! Thanks Ace!

Jonathan (Jon) has helped us out with plumbing issues for the past year from replacing waterheater, replacing kitchen sink and plumbing. I inherited a mobile home and found kitchen water drain wasnt connected to main line. Jon was right on it, made appt time and date. He was punctual, customer service was excellent and he explained issues and steps to correct problem. Most recently he worked on sewer back up outside of mobile from trap to main sewer drop. My brother explained every 1 or 2 years sewer backs up due to tree roots; plumber needs over 100 ft snake to clear line into another property behind mobile. Jon has been awesome, it happened, I call and he came out same day (very hot day at that). Cleared line and price was very comparable to other company prices, even a bit more reasonable. This is not our first experience using Ace. We used them for a plumbing leak in the wall of our home about 2 years ago and some remedial plumbing work at our daughter's house back in September of 2018.

During this year's first Summer heat wave the HVAC at our daughter's house just was not keeping up, so, after one day noticing that an Ace truck in the next lane said that Ace also did HVAC (which I did not know) I called Ace and within a day or two Curtis came by and introduced himself.

It actually did not take very long for Curtis to figure out that the sub-floor HVAC system had been installed with an extremely undersized air return back in 2006 (40% of what was required for the size of the unit).

A bit of discussion and, despite a VERY small crawl space Curtis and I came up with a way to get a second return duct installed. The work was completed in a single day at about at about 15% of the cost of the other outfit that looked at the job had quoted.

When it was time to pay for that work I mentioned to Curtis that many of the HVAC ducts outlets in the system in our home were not putting out much air. Curtis said that the heat wave had Ace's crews swamped with urgent work. He asked that I call again after the weather cooled a bit.

I did. Curtis came out. Looked at the symptoms. Crawled around under the house and came out saying that the existing duct work, installed in about 1960, was quite leaky and that about one quarter of our heated and cooled air was going into the crawl space. So, after some consideration, my wife and I decided to have the existing duct work removed and replaced.

In the three weeks since the ducting was replaced, both my wife and I have noticed that our home heats faster, stays warm longer, and perhaps most importantly, that we notice far fewer drafts.

Objectively, our HVAC energy usage appears to have been reduced by roughly 30% (as reported by our utility companies). Hard to say for sure if that is entirely the result of the duct replacement, because the weather varies. Nonetheless.

Curtis has rather been the star of this review and certainly he deserves credit for being knowledgeable, timely, responsive, informative, and rather personable, but I do not want to neglect the guys, and it was all guys, who did the work. They all worked very hard (the ducting job was a 14 hour day), were quite professional, tidy (important to my wife), and informative. As well as friendly and polite.

Whenever we again need plumbing, heating, or air conditioning work done we will be using Ace again.

Ace replaced my business' old air conditioner with a new efficient a/c in April. The change out was seamless. They did a little prep work one day, then the next day the crane came and put that baby on the roof. A few hours later it was ready to run. They didn't disrupt business at all and the new unit is keeping us cool even though it's triple digits outside.

I had a great experience with them previously, especially with the lady who scheduled so when I finally got my new dishwasher, I scheduled them to install it. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time, very pleasant. Unfortunately , that was the only good part. The installer did not know he was supposed to install a dishwasher when he arrived and said he needed 2 people to do the job. Nevertheles, he started but said we were missing a critical part. Told me to order it and reschedule . Just after he left, I opened the dishwasher and, guess what I found. There was the part. I called him but he had been sent on another job. He said he'd reschedule for the next day with 2 people.
once again, one new guy showed up, on time, but had no idea why he was there. I felt I could help so he proceeded to hook up the dishwasher just fine. However, he had a very hard time stabilizing it within the cabinet space using brackets that did not fit Well. Shortly after he left, the brackets fell off and the dishwasher pulled out of the cabinet.
So I did what he should have done and read the directions. There were 2 side holes and 2 washers to screw the dishwasher into the inside of the cabinet. I needed to put a shim on either side but it was easy to do, took me 15 minutes and now all is fine.

Our sewer main clogged XMas Eve. They were there in hours to assess and service. Saving Xmas Eve for us. They also discovered a break. I was able to see through their camera where a root from a former tree in our yard had torn it's way through the main. The were the best price and had a repair in place within a week of the estimate. Manuel, my point person, was excellent. He even came back out to remeasure some areas after I wanted to make sure the quote was accurate. I very much appreciate his efforts. Time will tell on the replaced main, but for now, if you have a need ACE can fill, you would be smart to at least get a quote from them.

We want to take some time to thank Ace Plumbing staff (Zane and Eric) for helping us replace our AC unit this week. We have been using them for a while and one thing I have to say about them is that they are honest and reliable. They have saved us a few times during the 3 digit weather and for that we thank you.

This time our AC system really needed a lot of help and decided to replace them, merging two units into one. They managed to come in a timely manner and get us some cool air pumping until we iron out the contract details and parts for the new unit. They were extremely helpful, and they listened carefully to our needs, budget, and our questions. We have members in our family with respiratory issues and they provided great alternatives to install in our new system. We were recommended by medical professionals and other AC techs to install a cleaning system in our unit to help our health, but we were not totally sure about about installing air scrubber and air cleaners but thanks to the way that one of their staff, Jeremy, explained how these systems work in a plain and simple manner, and the long term maintenance. We were assured that we made the right decision for our family.

The one thing we really appreciated is the way they carried out the project. They were very organized and efficient with their time. They have specialized people for different tasks which makes things moving smother. We were not disturbed or had to suffer high temperatures in the house. They tried their best keeping a good temperature in the house without having us to seek shelter in a hotel. Thank you so much you guys and for all the hard work. Although, Eric and Zane were the main project directors and executers, we also want to thank all the members who made our AC installation possible: Aaron, Jeremy, Dave, Ben, and whoever else was part of making this project successful. I was completely over charged. Slightly my fault for not looking into how much replacing a disposal is, but the plumber didn't even tell me if there were other options. I got over it, and moved in but then the company charged me twice for the services. It landed on 2 different bills so I will still have to pay for it. Not great customer service and they are overpriced or just the 1 plumber decided to overcharge someone he knew likely wasn't educated in garbage disposals.

So to start out, our AC and heating went out back in July 2020, middle of summer. We were in Southern California and we got the call that are AC unit went out. Out of panic we called the first company we saw on google and unfortunately it was Butler AC company. They send out four technicians and 1 sales guy already knowing they are going to sale a new unit. They made us feel bad and told us that we had no other option but to buy a new one and we needed it now and wanted money now and was just refusing to leave without us buying a new one that was $9,300 dollars. We told them we would be home in two days and figure it out. They continued to call and call and call and we just finally ignored them and suffered with out AC. It took ONE call to ACE and by the grace of GOD the best technician named Martin Millhouse came out very pleasant and you could tell he loved his job and wasn't here for money. He took his time very well and was very patient to check everything piece by piece. Martin fixed our heater in less than 20 min. He then continued to work on our AC for 30 min took one panel off and look through the wires and his knowledge was outstanding what he knew. Martin to me to hold on to go get a part and once he connected the part our AC unit turned on right away. I was amazed by his service and knowledge and skills he showed us today. If it wasn't for ACE and Martin to come out we would have spent $9,300 dollars on a unit we didn't need. Instead we spent $300 for a part that Martin found right away and we were so relieved to see the unit working and just the money Martin has saved us. He was very kind and very communicative and just a genuine person to have in our house to work. I want to thank ACE to have such a woundedful person like Martin on their team to have servicing our community. Keep up the great work Martin believe me if everyone listen to this review they will be very pleasant to welcome you into their home like we have. For all the readers please, please don't call no one else and waste your money, call ACE first they are not here to take your money or make money they are here to make you happy and make sure they complete what you want and not to just make money. FANTASTIC SERVICE! My husband has terminal cancer. Our home was getting gradually colder over the period of about a week prior to Christmas. On Christmas Eve I turned on the shower to warm up the water and discovered the water was not getting warm at all. After a long period of time, I decided that the pilot light must be out on the water heater. I contact PG&E and requested someone come right away. They sent someone and that person determined that the water heater needed a contractor after the pilot light was lit and there was still errors. I contacted my landlord and he called Ace. They were able to get out there the day after Christmas. Shortly after their arrival, they quickly ascertained that there was no gas coming into the house. They asked me to contact PG&E again. Steve and Martin were so AWESOME! They stayed with me to help me talk to PG&E and explain the circumstances and the need for someone to come right away. PG&E gave me such a hassle but reluctantly agreed to send someone immediately. Steve and Martin both stayed and prepped for once PG&E resolved the issue. (I had a bad thermostat as well). PG&E arrived about 20 minutes later and said immediately that the 70 meter was out and needed to be replaced. We were back up within minutes after the replacement.

This company did a wonderful job for us. We called late on the week day night and they were still able to come out to our house . they were very clear and concise at what the pricing would be . They came out the next day was able to find out that we did not have a cog in our line. We went ahead and had them replace the clear out . And it was the exact price that they quoted. Before they left our property they made sure that they covered up all the bark back where it belongs. When we started up our washing machine we had another backup. We called them out and at no charge to us they put a camera through and seeing that our lines were clear it was the County of Sacramento's issue. I will definitely use them again . We were having issues with our AC and our property management company would only have it fixed last summer. When we called again this summer, the guy from Ace told our landlords that the AC had to be replaced this year. Thankfully they did it. When the guys from Ace came out to do the install during the Covid 19, they thoughtfully asked us if we wanted them to mask up and stuff (we didn't). Called Ace Plumbing on a Sunday to fix our air conditioner. They came out that afternoon to assess the problem. Due to the excessive afternoon heat, they scheduled the next available appointment for Tuesday morning. Augie arrived a little after 10 am. He was very courteous and helpful. He confirmed that we had a burned out blower motor. Since he did not have our model motor on his truck, he went to get one. He came back in a little over an hour and replaced the motor. He also inspected the outside unit to ensure it was working properly. The replacement motor was a little pricey but you can't beat having cool air in the middle of a heat wave. I would use this company again. The service was very good.

Absolutely giving 5-STARS ..THANK YOU AARON!!...My AC decided that a heatwave was the best time not to work.. So after not getting a response from any of the so-called big name companies, I decided to go with Yelp and NEXTDOOR recommendations. Ace met the mark on both .. I called early and was right away impressed by the customer service. The lady who answered the phone was quick and professional. She was able to get me a Same day appointment (which is a miracle during this heatwave). She was upfront about the appointment details and service fee. She made sure to answer my questions and explain the service process.. Aaron called ahead to let me know he was on the way and showed up on time. He listened to the issues I was having and got to work right away. He gave me great advice and tips about how to maintain my system and about the best type of filter to use. Unfortunately My AC system needed a lot more work than I anticipated, but Aaron explained everything to me in layman's terms and made sure I understood what was needed. He explained all of my options and gave me a breakdown of costs for each. After deciding on what my best option was, Aaron worked quickly and cleanly to make the needed repairs. When finsished, He again explained the repairs he made and gave me great information and advice about my system and what future work I will need. Update: Ace Plumbing management called me last week on reading my review here and offered to do a FREE video inspection to verify the findings of the last visit. I agreed to it.

This morning they did a video inspection from two locations, from the exterior clean-out and from under my kitchen sink. They said the line looked clear from the outside, no tree roots in sight. From the inside they encountered muddy sludge and blockage immediately in the clean-out pipe under the sink so could not run the video through the pipe. While they were under the sink one of them said to me Looks like you've got a little leak here, pointing to some water under there. I said, That's funny, it was dry before you went under there. More on that later...

They said they would recommend jack-hammering up my concrete floors in the kitchen and hallway to see what exactly the problem is. They suggested most likely all the drain lines under the house would probably need replacing.

Although I appreciated this free visit and advice, I was hoping to hear some alternate strategies to jack-hammering up the floors such as inline replacement, and or/ a cost idea and strategy for what sounds like very major work.

Another update: Shortly after they left Bridgette from Ace called to say they were sending another plumber to come check on whatever the leak was under the sink... for free. Of course I agreed and their plumber Joe showed up soon after that.

Joe checked under the sink and he found no leak. Great. Then I asked him about jack-hammering up floors and if customers agree to have this done often without estimates and I also asked what alternates there are in these cases. He then offered a wealth of information! He talked about strategies to locate precisely where a break would be, ideas for figuring out costs and alternatives to digging when possible and when, where, why and why not, etc. I'm no plumbing expert but he sure sounded like he knew what he was talking about. This is what I wanted to hear all along! Smart, expert advice.

So to sum everything up, I'm going to hold off on these major drain line replacements until absolutely necessary! We're talking a cost of probably over ten thousand dollars here. When the time comes I'm going to get multiple estimates and advice from different companies. I'll ONLY agree to let work begin when I feel comfortable that the plumber is really knowledgeable. Ace Plumbing's Joe is someone I would probably want to hear more from.

Top notch! And no BS. Had Martin come out for what we thought was just a refill of coolant, but the system is really old and just couldn't get working right. He came up with a great solution for replacing just the AC unit when normally you really need to replace the whole AC and Furnace which runs into $10,000+. The new AC unit was gonna cost less than $4,000. Somehow our unit came back to life on it's own, so we're gonna run it til it dies and save up a bit for the new $4,000 unit which makes life doable. They were totally understanding when we canceled with last minute notice and said they'll happily come out when we're ready. I was really impressed with the knowledge Martin had of the systems and is willingness to try and actually solve my problems without taking advantage. Ace is our place from now on :)

So, everyone knows your at the mercy of a business when you need some home repairs. When a business such as Ace hires people to represent their company. When you call you can get a honest guy or a not so honest guy. Well with ace this was the case. Always get a second opinion. Repair for a gas line went from around 2 grand to less than a hundred.hmmm all said and done watch out for the not so honest guy.

Scheduled this company out to replace four bathroom faucets. Ivan came out and was very polite, wore a mask, checked out my faucets and informed me this was custom plumbing and he would need to collect specific parts to complete the job and would return another day. We discussed scheduling and he gave an appointment window 11-1 today. Well at 2 I get a call from a guy saying Ivan called in sick and he would come replace my faucets. Two men show up, one never wore a mask the whole time, the other had a neck gator that he only pulled up over his face once of the three times he entered my home. When showing him the four faucets, he was pissed because he thought it was only two, then even more pissed when he asked if I wanted the drain plugs replaced too and I said yes. He scoffed and picked up and dropped the plastic ones that came with the faucets I purchased and told me these always leak but that's fine I'll install them anyway if you want me to. When I said I didn't want him installing something that would leak he replied it doesn't matter because their company doesn't warranty anything on parts that you provide. He then offered to go get metal drain plugs and return tomorrow to install them. Um no thanks.

We have used Ace numerous times in the past for our house and both of our rentals. They are very expensive but respond quickly. That said, I will never use them again. During a family crisis, we had numerous family members from out of town visiting. Of course, our plumbing backs up. In an effort to fix the problem quickly we called Ace. They came right out. The plumber fixed the problem by bringing in a piece of machine that was only supposed to be used outside. After he left, I noticed five large marks on our bathroom tile. I couldn't remove them. When I called and spoke to the manager, he was incredibly rude and condescending. It was ridiculous. I will never use them again. There are far cheaper companies that actually value their customers.

Utilized this plumbing company as a referral from another contractor. Hindsight being 20/20 I should have stuck to my gut feeling and went with the proven plumbing companies I've worked with in the past. The main issue was the plumber on-site thought he could solve the leaking issue from the front instead of what I already requested that they cut the drywall behind the bathroom and make the repairs that way. Three hours later and and the issue was not resolved. Of course, I was billed for and paid for basically 50% of a fix. That's fine. I hired another plumber who completed the job correctly. The plumber that did do the work was professional and I have to say really worked hard.

Nothing is worse than having your AC go out in the middle of a hot spell, but Ace saved the day and then some. They were able to come right out and patch up the AC unit, and recommended a new HVAC unit. Aaron, the technician, promptly wrote up an estimate that beat three other estimates price and time frame. Aaron and his crew were able to do an entire HVAC replacement in one day, and saw the whole process through including the necessary permits and inspections. There's plenty of AC companies out there, but we feel fortunate to have had Ace do the job.

We have used Ace Plumbing 3 times in the last 3 months and had excellent service each time! A different plumber came each time and was knowledgeable, professional and went above and beyond!

Our first call was about an on-going bathtub faucet leak. Ace Plumbing was our 3rd quote and the best! The first two plumbers said it was a MAJOR problem. Kyle from Ace fixed it same day for $67 bucks! Plus made minor adjustments to our toilets (all 3) that were running off and on! We were so happy!

We called again for them to install a touch-less/motion faucet for our small business. A different plumber came and we had a great experience!

Yesterday we had a new kitchen faucet put in by Joe. Another great experience! He encountered some issue with our house but kept us informed and worked until he got it just right! He really went above and beyond and we really appreciated it!

Unbelievable prompt service!! Today's high was 108°F, and the a/c unit screeched and died. Other major yelp high rated vendors who offered a/c repair told me I would have to wait 2 to 3 days for an appointment. Called Ace @ 6:30pm. An hour later, Kyle arrived and was able to fix my issue inside 15 mins.

Although I forked over $$$, the technician provided quick turn around time and peace of mind with a cell phone# where he can be reached for follow-up issues.

Like most people, we called Ace Plumbing in an emergency. Our technician was Adrian. He had such a calm and reassuring manner. We instantly knew we were in safe hands. It ended up being a fairly major job, over almost two full days. It wasn't cheap but the pricing was fair and well explained. When the work was done and signed-off, all that remained was to fill in a hole with earth. We asked if we could do this to save some $. They knocked $300 off the price, which seemed very reasonable and flexible. Maybe not the best choice for non-urgent jobs, due to cost, but these guys are great if you're in a fix.

I live in a condo built in 1973. I wanted to install an Ecobee, but my system doesn't have a C wire. It is also a combo heating and air unit, so more complicated. Ecobee recommended Ace after I had called all over the place looking for someone that would be able to do the work (everyone lacked the knowledge). Aaron came out installed and it didn't work. He determined I had a broken wire somewhere between upstairs and downstairs - and the wiring on the unit had been incorrectly done (I have not touched it since I bought the place a year ago). Aaron scheduled a follow up time where he and another technician could come out and rerun the wire. They were prompt and got the job done. I'd definitely recommend them and use them again if I run into any issues. Thanks Aaron

UPDATE!! (6/12): My AC Unit failed - triple digit temps! I called ACE and they sent Aaron out the same day. A part had failed. He identified it and repaired it - all in less than an hour. I would definitely recommend ACE and Aaron. They have the skill set to get the job done!

My dispute is with the manager, Scott Faulk. Not with the plumbers. I had Martin, Steve and two other great guys come to fix my clogged AC condensation line. It took three visits. My crawl space is ridiculously small and it took a while to find the smallest guy. The first person on the scene cut the pipe just below the foundation to allow me to use my AC until they could find someone who fit under the house. I agreed to allow the pipe to drain into the bottom of the house. They promised to come fix it the next day. i was happy to run my AC again. I was quoted around 300.00 To replace the damaged line. It took a few days but they came back and fixed it correctly. They were very good. And the repair was perfect. But the final bill was over 500.00. I was pretty surprised as nothing changed or was discovered to cause additional work. The guys explained it was an accurate charge, they did work two hours, two guys. So I paid it without much complaint.

The problem came in when with the manager, Scott Faulk. I was concerned that the leak in the line had been happening a while before I discovered it and the area around the outside near the condenser and under the house and in the inside the furnace closet was saturated. I used fans and it did dry out quickly, but I was concerned that mold or damage was there that needed further work. And there were pretty deep new cracks on the siding near where it was wet. i asked the guys on the job to look and see if they saw any further damage to the house and if they could see if anything was obvious to cause the settling That I needed to do. They suggested I call the manager and ask him. So I did. He was the most disrespectful, unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He was immediately defensive and spoke to me in a belittling bully type of way. I am sure he does not talk to men in this way. He assumed I was calling to complain and immediately started to raise his voice and making completely ridiculous statements. He never let me say more than a sentence. I simply wanted to know if I should be concerned about the settling or mold and what more needs to be done. I was thinking possibly they have a mold deterrent spray or would know more than I if I need to call a contractor to look at the cracks, is that normal...etc.... He assumed I was complaining or somehow wanted them to be responsible for damages. When his plumber suggested I call him! the expert , for advise. I simply wanted him to know the extent of the leak and talk thru what else I needed to consider. And I wanted to know why the difference from quote to charges. He was so disrespectful and rude, yelling, accusing, not letting me speak, a bully.

i can not recommend a business where the managers disrespect women and treat their customers in this way. I recommend women avoid this business.

It's May. It's warming up and I turned on the AC and... Nothing. Oh heck no! Ain't nobody got time to sweat! It was blowing hot air! So I call Ace and they give me a two hour window of when they'll be out. Meanwhile I'm sweating bullets that I'm going to have to sell my firstborn to replace the unit. 12 to 2 window and right after noon, BAM, doorbell rings. The serviceman, Dennis, was cool. He got right on it, diagnosed the problem and had the house chilling in twenty minutes! Didn't break the bank either. Like I said Dennis was easygoing and knew his business. I'm writing this in my living room that's currently so cold I might need a sweater. This is only my 8 or 9th review and Ace earned it!

Oh, wow! I am so happy! My only regret with calling Ace a Plumbing was I didn't do it 6 hours earlier! They're amazing. Simply amazing. THANK YOU, ACE!!

My plumbing problem started with a bubbles in my toilet, and then two bubbling toilets! Before you knew it water started filling the tubs and overflowing the toilets. I used towels to clean up the water. I loaded them into the washer, which, of course, made the tubs even fuller with water because I had a drain block at the main...so, my laundry water was going into the home (toilets, tubs). Lord have mercy.

Hours and hours of plunging, using the snake, hauling water, wiping floors, turning valves on and off...and, even using a hose in the clean out...all to no avail. My son and I were on the right track, though! When I realized I had a drain block, that wouldn't clear, I began to call around. No one was available and I left frantic message after message. No water, no toilets, no showers, no laundry....and, two children? NO GOOD!

I didn't want to call a plumber. I thought plumbers costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. That's what I thought. That's what I'd heard. Turns out I was wrong.

I finally found and called Ace Plumbing. It was now well past 5:00, more like 6:30. I was frantic. I was told someone would be out around 9:00 that evening. I agreed. A few minutes later Dominic called from Ace. He wanted to make sure I knew he'd be running late as he had a big job waiting. I described my problem and, since he was in the area (headed towards the other call), he stopped by my home first! Yes! Yes! Yes! I think it was when he heard how hard and long we'd tried to clear it ourselves, and that I had children in the home, with no water, plumbing. He's a softie and I'm glad!

He arrived less than ten minutes later and went right to work. He had the drain cleared in less than 10-15 minutes. It was such a big relief to see him at my door. He knows what he's doing and I enjoyed watching him work his magic. Not only is he most capable...he's pleasant, personable, funny, and a joy to meet. Problem solved and my pocketbook was barely hit. Yes!!

I'm so impressed with Dominic and Ace that I'll be sure not to hesitate to use them in the future for all my plumbing needs (forget Craig's List!), and will be referring them to my friends! Not only were they there, after hours, in my time of desperation and need...but, they were so reasonably priced, professional, pleasant...I'm so glad I've found my forever plumbing service!

I just wish I'd called sooner!!!!

Had an excellent experience with their plumber M. that came out to my location. I needed to add a cold water line from the water heater to a fridge in the garage. There were definitely things that needed to be troubleshooted but he thought it through and even put the equipment together to allow for ease of access for future work to be done if needed. I appreciate the forethought, planning, and coming up with different possible solutions upon speaking with me. It is very easy to be on a single minded track once you've thought of a solution but I was glad to see he was open to ideas/suggestions in how the work could have been done and different materials that could have been used. Their pricing is not the cheapest but thought it was fair. I would recommend them again.

ACE & Martin the tech really came through for us. Our furnace went out on Friday & of course it was cold in our house over the night. I tried to troubleshoot the problem myself on Saturday but no go. I called ACE around 1p on Saturday & they set me up with a tech from 6p-8p on the same day. Technician Martin actually made it to my home @ 3p. Martin came in & got right to work to figure out the problem. I gave him a hand which made the job go a little faster. As difficult as the repair was, Martin figured it out & now we have heat in our home. Martin went about & beyond for us.

I seldom write a review; however, I want to take some time and write about my few years of experience with ACE Company. I highly recommend ACE. They are professional and, more importantly, honest. In conclusion, you can trust their advice on repairs and maintenance.

Scott, the manager, is very responsible with a huge heart. When you call and say, it is almost 120 F, and my cooling system is not working, and I have a six-month-old child, he shows empathy and responds quickly.

I cannot tell good enough about Aaron. He is the most knowledgeable AC technician I have ever met. He takes further steps to make sure he has found the root cause of the issue, even if he has to stay till 10 pm. I appreciate very much the professionalism and the trust he built in me!

I have their maintenance contract for both houses. It has made seasonal shifts between heating and cooling system so stress-free. Every six months, Aaron checks all components for any signs of a faulty part. It saves money and brings comfort during heat waves and cold nights!

I've had three different Ace repairmen to our house recently . They were right on time for the appointments. Unfortunately we had a major repair on an air conditioner one month after the warranty had expired. They were able to get the part that we needed for less than what was expected. The second guy showed up to do the repair. He was respectful and diligent about his work. At the same time we had a leak in the faucet between the refrigerator and the wall. The guy that came out for that was also very quick and went the extra mile to help me switch two refrigerators so we would have water from the fridge. The cost was less than half of other estimates. A few weeks later there was water pooling under the refrigerator and the air conditioning had stopped. When I called the lady on the phone give me a very simple DIY solution for the frig, which also saved me money. The call back for the AC was no charge even though it wasn't related to the original breakdown. Very satisfied.

Called in the a.m. for my AC compressor not running. Said they would be out between 2-4 p.m. that day. I called at 4:15 and she said he was on the way, and was very apologetic. Augustus showed up, very professional, very cordial. He pretty much knew what the problem was right away, and even had the parts to fix it. In less than an hour, the AC was running again. He was very good at double checking everything and could explain the inner workings of the parts he changed out. Didn't treat me like I was a female that had no idea about mechanics (because I do). Overall the experience was very good.
I've had a really bad AC experience at another house with another company who tried to convince me to replace all this stuff or it would catch fire when all I needed was Freon.

We woke up on a Saturday morning to a main line clog that put a stop on our Valentines weekend plans. We called ACE. They were sympathetic and reassured us that they could get someone out there to fix it the same day, but that it would be sometime in the afternoon.

Within the hour I got a call and Nick said he could show up earlier if that was OK with us. We were very happy that he was able to arrive 2 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled. He was quick, but thorough and took the time to educate me on what was happening and how to mitigate it in the future as well as services ACE provides that I might be interested in. I never felt pressured to buy.

The entire service was much more affordable than I anticipated and much faster than I anticipated - so much so that I was still able to keep my Valentines weekend plans with my wife.

We will continue to use ACE in the future for all our plumbing needs.

Called Ace to get an estimate for putting in a simple ice maker water line in a 9x10' kitchen. The estimate was $425 and it would take 1 hour to 1 hr 45 min. When I asked what they charge for labor, the plumber said $154/hr. and parts would be about $75.00. The same plumber came to do the work a day + an hour late. I asked again about the charge because obviously it didn't add up. He called the company and they cancelled the job. They said that they didn't want to get involved in a discrepancy. Sounds like maybe they were charging a little too much and didn't want to get involved in a dispute. I'm glad I questioned their fees! It just didn't add up!

I had a great experience with Ace Heating and Air. Backstory, I was expecting out-of-town visitors, and my air conditioner stopped cooling. I was in a state of panic. Curtis Cassidy answered the service call and came the same day and arrived quickly to diagnose the problem. He was highly professional and friendly.

I agree with Janna 100%... This is what happened with us! They charge 70.00 buck just to come out..ok, i agree to pay this! This 70.00 does NOT go towards you bill if they fix it! Mine was a 10 minute job and i was charged 295.00. 70.00 for the service charge and 225.00 for a part??? That part most likely cost 25-50 bucks.
The service guy was nice and great and my AC is working but I will call another company next time.

Had them out to remove a toilet, tub faucet and shower head and install utility sink faucet (which I already had). Took two hours after they were 45 minutes late- had to look for the gut 3 times as he was out at his truck ( he said looking for tools). The work did get completed correctly. He fudged 15 minutes on his start time and his end time. Insisted it was necessary to replace supply lines at triple plus the normal retail price. 2 hours for a 45 minutes charged- $517.27.
I called to request they review the bill and their representative, Poppy, said they have gps clocks on their truck to track time. When I said the guy sat in his truck before and after (not working on my job) she answered what was he doing? I said I don't know - (obviously not working) I'm sure their techs have figured out the truck timer tracking.
This job should have taken no more than an hour. Unfortunately my regular plumber was not available at the last minute so I called Ace Plumbing. Not again. I highly recommend not hiring them.

I messaged Ace Plumbing Heating and Air for a free quote, and I received a quote in less than an hour. They were even able to schedule me the same day in the afternoon! Craig arrived on time and serviced both my gas heater and my air conditioner. I was selling my house and I was pressured for time, because my house was in its last week of escrow.

Craig opened my furnace to discover that it was covered in paint and struggling to work. It turns out that my painters had turned on the gas heater while they were spraying the interior of my house with fresh paint. So the paint filled up the ventilation unit and got into the motor, fan, and enclosure of my heating unit. Craig spent hours cleaning the fan and the enclosure so that I would not have to buy a new one. He saved me a lot of money! Unfortunately, the 20-year-old motor needed to be replaced, because it was very old and, to be honest, I had never had it serviced before. Craig got me a very good deal on a new motor, and I am very happy. He did an outstanding job of servicing my air conditioner too! I've never met anyone so nice who worked so hard to help a total stranger. Craig treated me like family. I would recommend Ace Plumbing Heating and Air to all my family and friends!

My a/c died when the high temps started, I was shocked when I was told it had to be replaced . We got 3 quotes and all 3 were promising to do exactly the same service. Ace was the lowest ( by far!) and they were also able to install within the week. They said they could do it within a week as opposed to three to four weeks for both of the others, and they did! Curtis came out first and made the bid, he couldn't have been nicer. But, I had not yet met Eric, Zane and Mark! They were super, polite and thoughtful, fast workers, cleaned up after themselves beautifully and were as nice as anyone could possibly hope for- even nice to my dog! My home is beautifully cool, it's quiet and the cooling is wonderful .
Should you have my misfortune, and lose your a/c, call Ace, they're amazing!

Our brand-new (2-year) old air/heat unit died out, just two months beyond warranty. Looked like we were stuck with the $450 cost of a new motor. Curtis and Aaron at Ace called the manufacturer on our behalf and got the cost reduced to $0. All we paid was the diagnostic test fee. Curtis diagnosed the problem in all of about 15 minutes, came back and installed the part -- again in about 15 minutes. Better service? Impossible! These guys represent the gold standard for service and customer care.

We have the Bonney Bam plan but the 2 times we have needed emergency service they have not been available for more than 24 hours. Each time we called Ace and they were able to fit us in and solve the issue quickly.
Ace's prices are not cheap but they do work quickly and they seem honest and trustworthy in the work they perform. I think we will be canceling our plans with Bonney and just replying on Ace.

After the company I had used for decades failed to repair my old A/C unit and provided me with a high priced quote for a new system, I started shopping around. I received quotes from six large local companies, including Ace.

When Martin came out to simply provide me a quote, he had my old system working and blowing very cold air in under ten minutes! I was impressed with Martin's skills, compassion, and professionalism. The quote I received was very competitive. I SINCERELY appreciated that there was no pressure or bad mouthing other companies, like others had done.

After a few weeks of deciding, Martin got the ball rolling quickly and arranged everything to fit my schedule. Poppy had the contract set up in no time. Scott helped explain the paperwork, and took the time to walk me through everything, still with absolutely no pressure.

Jorge, Eric and Zane came to install the new system when it fit my schedule. They were on time and extremely pleasant to have working in my home. I was completely comfortable allowing the three of them to do their work. They did a fantastic job and took the time to explain certain things about the project and keep me in the loop.

Jorge, Eric and Zane got the whole removal of the old system and install of the new system completed in about 7 hours, far more quickly than I expected. They took the time to clean up thoroughly and paid attention to detail on the finish work. Everything looks, and runs great.

To all those at ACE, well done! You exceeded my unreasonably high expectations!!! This rarely happens! Great work and thank you!!!

A guest (you know who you are, Rachel) flushed a bunch of wet wipes down the toilet, creating a non-plungerable (is that a word?) clog.

Ace Plumbing was over within an hour of calling them, and fixed the issue literally within 10 minutes. They charge in 15 minute intervals, so I was able to save a lot of money. In fact, they charged less than half of what 2 competitors quoted me.

And, it gets better...only a 2 hour window - not 4 hours of waiting! I will NEVER call another plumber again, Ace is my go to. My home experienced two stoppages in 30 days and our home warranty company sent out a contractor to service it. They removed roots from the line and said there was a crack that needed repair costing anywhere from 2-5 grand without even using a camera to see for sure. We called Ace and they were out to help us the next day and give us a free estimate. Mauricio and Jose with Ace ran a camera through and determined the problem is on the county side. horrible! I was robbed! The technician came and broke my pipe then said It was old and I had to replace my whole sink in my garage because the pipe broke in the sink. After snaking the sink it didn't even clear the clog! All he had to do was snake the cleanout near the kitchen! They charged me over 400 bucks!!! Will never ever call them again!!! I called Armstrong plumbing and they cleared my sewer line for 165! They were great!! I reccommend Armstrong plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

My shower valve failed and i had to shut off the water to the whole house. I called Ace around 12:50pm and they said they would try to send a technician as soon as possible. I am leaving this review for my parents, as they are not familiar with Yelp. My parents needed some work done to their kitchen sink. My dad thought he could fix it and actually made it worse. They finally caved and let me call ACE for them. Their tech, Steve, was very prompt, polite and professional. He explained everything clearly to my parents and informed them of what the cost would be prior to them making the decision, which they did have him fix. On top of that, he even gave them his cell number in case they needed any further assistance. Steve was awesome and we'll definitely recommended ACE to others.

Disappointed.

Here's the backstory...HVAC unit in our guest house (aka converted garage) was unresponsive. Couldn't get heat or A/C to work. I flipped the breaker (about the extent of my knowledge) and that yielded no result. We had an overnight guest coming to stay, so needed to get the heat working again. Time to call in a pro. Ace was recommended by a person whom I trust, so I gave them a call.

On a positive note, I will say that their schedulers were very polite and responsive, and could even get me a technician onsite the same day. I had to be at work, but my wife was able to modify her schedule to be there for the technician. He showed up on time; confirmed the situation; flipped the breaker; and immediately got it working. Very frustrating for me; $70 bucks to have someone do exactly what I had already done but have the better outcome. And my wife mocked me because the tech was there for 10 minutes. So heat worked for our overnight visitor, which was good.

Fast forward a couple of weeks. Another family member coming to stay overnight. No one has used the heat since the last visit a month ago. Went out to turn on the heater and warm it up a bit, and same problem as before. Unit is unresponsive. I tried flipping the breaker again; still no result. I called Ace and told them about the situation; they said, Sure! We can come out and take a look...but it will be $70 for the service call. I asked if they would consider the same problem occurring a few weeks later to be a warranty issue; no, they would not.

So, I would not use them again nor recommend them based on my experience. I'm not exactly sure what the tech did to get the heater working again, but clearly, he did not fix the root issue, as it happened again at the next use. I suspect there is something else causing the problem, and expect that Ace would diagnose the problem so we don't keep having the unit fail.

I won't support a business that doesn't stand behind their work.

Just had to replace my water heater and I got Ace Plumbing recommended by my friend. So I called to get an estimated. They came out the same day and looked my water heater over and said that they could put in the same gallon tank that is there now. I chose the 75 gallon tank. After the quote, I asked when can they get started?, and they told me that afternoon! It took Ace only about 3 and half hours from start to finish to install my new water heater! Looks fantastic and I had a nice hot shower that night for the first time in years! Highly recommended by this satisfied customer.

My sewer backed up into my home. I called Ace. Steve Scharf and his crew spent 2 weeks replacing my entire mainline sewer pipe, which had deteriorated. They had to dig up the tree roots, trench through my patio, under my garage, out to the City hookup, replace the water line and dig up part of my concrete patio.
They did all that, and even put in a crushed stone walkway for me to get to my garage. They would have replaced the area of the patio dug up, but I have decided to have a new patio installed in the spring.

We were fortunate to have Bruce Riley clear 150 lineal feet of sewer drain for us today, President's Day 2017. We called Ace Plumbing early Monday morning in panic mode as we had called two other plumbers the day before, neither of which had a clue on how to clear a sewer even after one trying for three hours and getting through less than thirty feet of tissue paper. Within one hour, Bruce showed up in a driving rain and within twenty minutes had cleared the drain. Call Ace and ask for Bruce if you need a good plumber! We had our entire family staying at the house and a clogged sewer was a major problem. Don't use some fly by night plumber with poor equipment and don't get suckered in by a high priced water jet that just fills your already water filled sewer line with more water line. Trust Bruce at Ace!

After attempting to fix a problem ourselves we realized we were in over our heads and needed an expert. We called ACE around 6pm on a Thursday evening, got their rates to come out and then called a few other places. Ended up calling Ace back because their rates were seriously cheap in comparison to others. They charged us $78 to come out which included the first 15 minutes, then $38.50 per 15 minutes after that. The other places I called were as much as $260 for the first 1/2 hour and $130 every half hour after.

Turned out the issue was a broken pressure balance cartridge which was stuck in the valve. We thought we were going to have to go behind the wall, but the patient and persistent technician kept working at it and finally got the cartridge out. We decided to have him cap the pipes when he informed us the replacement we had already purchased wouldn't work in the existing valve. The shower wouldn't be usable, but this would get the water back on to the rest of the house,. and then we could go exchange our purchase for a compatible one. This saved us a little money which we appreciated.

The tech was able to get all that done in about 30 minutes.

Dropping one star because it did take them an hour and a half to get to our house, and because the technician failed to tell us that our opted solution of capping the pipe might (and did) cause us to have no hot water in the house. Sadly, we discovered this the hard way getting in the shower the next morning.

Overall, I'm a fan and I would call them again.

I needed the kitchen faucet replaced with a new one I had bought. I was given a window from 3 to 5 for arrival (and appreciated it was only a two hour window) and Ryan and Kelly gave a call at 2:45 saying they were on their way over and showed up BANG ON 3 p.m.

Might be the first time I've ever had a person arrive at the very beginning of a service window time.

There were no complications and they were in and out in 45 minutes, even asking where the dish soap was so they could fill the new dispenser that came with the new faucet.

I had a clogged kitchen sink at night time and my husband tried to clean it but it didn't work. So I left message to Ace Plumbing. In about 2-3 hrs, they called back and we arranged an appointment the next morning. They told me that they put us on 10am - 2pm appointment time range. Waited a whole day, no call no show. Tried to call around 2pm to find out what's going on. No one picked up the phone and no call after 3 hrs. Very disappointing!

They've now fixed two things in our house for us: our air conditioner unit and our spare bathroom toilet. Both times they answered my call immediately, scheduled appointments based on my flexibility, and successfully repaired our issues.

I don't really think that we were over charged. The price seemed fair to me and to my husband. They told us to watch the spare bathroom toilet carefully because if it started to leak again, they would come out (for free) to fix it again.

I used ACE plumbing about 6 months ago to have some toilets installed and I was very satisfied with the the work and rates. So for a second job, I was very disappointed that I was kept waiting long past the stated window times TWICE and the main 'operator' tried to claim that the window times were actually different than what we had originally agreed upon. He was VERY rude.

In addition they didn't explain that they were not going to prorate their hourly rate ($235 per hour!!!) for hydrojetting my landscape drain....I had to ASK if it would be prorated because afterall there is a HUGE difference between $235 and $470! Very unprofessional if you ask me...

I have a problem with my septic tank. I needed someone to come out and lift the lids and inspect the tanks and clear the line to the house. I had not used Ace before. Chanelle was very helpful getting me scheduled within 24 hours and sent Ryan Blouch out. He is very friendly, professional and helpful. He explained what is going on with the tanks and discovered that the tanks are full and in need of draining. I could not be more happy with what he did and will definitely use Ace Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs in the future!

Would never, ever use or recommend Ace Heating & Plumbing. They installed new ducts in my house and (a) did not get a permit (b) did not test the ducts (c) sealed a return they said I didn't need because they were lazy (they were wrong). There were a couple other problems as well (like being told the system was cleaned when it was not). Worthless, absolutely worthless.

We had a clogged kitchen sink and my DIY efforts failed. Ace was able to schedule us same day. The tech called in advance to let me know he would be late, the job he was on got more complicated, and I really appreciate that. I hate waiting and not knowing. They showed up, got right to it, clean, courteous, all business. The other companies I called either couldn't make it out same day or their after hours service picked up at 8:00 in the morning. I recommend Ace.

After I replaced the temp pressure valve , then expansion tank I finally figured out with Ace's help(after hours guy) that it was a high pressure problem due to a failed pressure regulator. Turns out it's a fairly straightforward repair but since they were out I had them do it. Very expensive but job done perfectly. Also adding to my cost was that I didn't find the correct problem to begin with! Same day service. Phone call to job completion was about 3 hours total. Tech was knowledgeable, had a great work ethic and didn't try to sugar coat the cost. I would call them again.

Okay, I get that customers often have different experiences in home repair...and, I respect their viewpoints.

But, our experience with this company was quite nice. We needed a camera inspection of sewer lines at a home we are in the process of purchasing. The person answering the phone (Bridget) was professional, personable, and efficient; she scheduled a next morning appointment for us.

Two men showed up at the beginning of the two-hour window; both were also professional, personable, and very aware of getting the job done within the hour we had hoped for.

Lupe Espinoza is totally honest, very gracious, and quite accomplished...we really appreciated his going the extra mile for us...great guy. His partner, Kevin, was equally nice.

We felt we received more than asked for for the quoted price for a camera inspection...our Realtor was impressed with them as well.

We will not hesitate to use their services again if needed, and we will ask specifically for Lupe Espinosa!

Our laundry room sink backed up, so we called Ace. Much to our surprise, they were able to send someone out same-day and within 2 hours we had Gerry M. come to the rescue. He was friendly and made sure to update us with what he was doing to the sink each time he went to grab new tools. It ended up taking a large auger, with a clog nearly 40 feet out, but he finished the job quickly and left our laundry room clean as if nothing had happened. Overall, such a delight. Thank you Gerry M.! We are so happy to have our laundry room back in working order in such a short amount of time.

Ace did a great job of clearing our drain and replacing an old toilet flapper. They were in and out in under an hour. Remained masked and booties the whole visit. Total charge was under $150 which is reasonable for plumbing.

I want to thank ACE Plumbing for the excellent service I received on the installation of my new HVAC system. Jeremy was diligent in over seeing the install. The Technicians: Eric, Zane and Emmanuel were absolutely wonderful! They knew their jobs well and their clean up was super! We had all of our ducts replaced throughout our home just recently . we were given a fair quoted price, and stood behind their word. All of the guy's worked together on a timely manner, and efficiency of the job. Were pleased of their performance overall. Curtis is who made sure everything's going smoothly, and Eric , Zane, Jorge, and Joe ' the installers of the duct work' all performed together to get everything done right . Don't waste your money. Had them out to see why my ac unit wasn't turning on. Guy said it was a control board and it would be over $500 to fix. The part was on amazon for $90! Bought the part myself and installed it which was not the 2 hours they said would take at $150 an hour. Turns out that wasn't even what was wrong with my unit! Wasted $80 for their so called diagnostic and money for a part I didn't need. My sister has their maintenance plan and won't be renewing that either.

I am the owner of Sushi Yo! On Fulton ave, when I first took over the restaurant, it needed plumbing to be fixed in the restroom, kitchen sinks and sewage. This company is the only one to save us from the heat after hours - I got home from work at 8 pm and my home was 90 degrees - our AC was down! I began to panic a little; my husband works from home, we have 2 fur babies and i had to be up for work at 5:30 am - i knew if our AC didn't get fixed, all four of us would be miserable and we would get no sleep. I hopped on google and began calling down the list. I called (SERIOUSLY) 15 different AC repair shops claiming 24 hr service, everyone had a two day wait.... EXCEPT ACE! Curtis answered the phone and was so kind and empathetic. It was 9pm and he said i will be there at 10:30! He was right on time! I had an escalating series of problems caused by a malfunctioning water heater, a leaky pipe, and a sump pump broken by the previous plumber. They were very professional and while it was not cheap, they had to do a lot of work. I'd go back to them for sure!

I've used Ace several times and have been pleased for the most part. Scott, the manager, was easy to work with in dealing with damage to my fountain that occurred during my last encounter with Ace. He was professional and worked with me to arrive at a solution. Ace provides good customer service. Also, the last technician I dealt with, Ivan, was professional and solved my plumbing problem fairly quickly. I definitely will continue to use Ace meet my plumbing needs.

When you're 3,000 miles away, it's both extremely important and extremely rare to find somebody whom you can trust when things go wrong with your rental property, especially when it's a serious plumbing issue.

I knew Cody from 2020 when he was at another company. I was so happy with the extraordinary work he had done for us then, that when I saw I still had his cell phone number, I texted him immediately when our new tenants informed us that our (very) old water heater had finally given up the ghost. Apparently they weren't able to get hot water in half the house, including the kitchen.

But thanks to Cody, in less than 24 hours, a new water heater had been installed, and all was well in the world.

APHA is lucky to have Cody on their team; you'd be lucky to have him work on your house. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Wow! Never have we had such great service! We met Ivan at the door. He was masked and ready to work! He quickly found the problem with our kitchen faucet and worked efficiently to make the repair. Don't hire. This company will try and scam you. They were hired by my home warranty company to replace a coil in August/sept.. When they did the work, they didn't place the pan back where it needed to be and I had water leaking in two bedroom ceilings. They argued with me that it wasn't them until they came out and found it was. Fast forward to this season and first time I go to use the ac, blowing hot air. I call them back out. The tech never looked at the work they did just tested around the compressor with a sensor saying it was rusted out, not holding Freon and needed to be replaced (couldn't be repaired). $3,700. Not trusting a company that doesn't even check their own work, hired another tech. He ran dye through the system and found the compressor was fine and didn't leak. But the two bolts to the TVX that Ace worked on weren't tightened and that is where ALL my Freon leaked out. I now have nice cool AC; no thanks to ACE. Shoddy work and lacking integrity.

I have used ACE PLUMBING 3 times now and they are amazing!
1st time I used them for a toilet that was never bolted to the slab, Parker tried to fix it the best he could and said if this didn't work, he would have to come back, and actually put bolts in the slab.(what I liked I wasn't pressured to do the bolt fix which would have been more expensive)but I did eventually have Ace come back to do the bolt fix..Parker was very clean, and did amazing g job!!
Today I had them install my new garbage disposal, I requested Parker. I called on Monday to make an appointment, thinking it would be a week, but nope, Parker was at my house on Tuesday afternoon.
Ace is will always be my go to company for my repairs..
They are Honest, Fair, Clean etc

I found that my bathroom flooded, also partially flooded my office and living room. Couldn't find the cause, so i shut off the water. I called total of three plumbers, first one couldn't come out for a week, another couldn't come out until the next day, and then called ACE. They (Colin) came same day, in fact they came out within two hours. They found the leak and fixed it the right way (they replaced pipe). Also I noticed they have 24x7 hour response, I wish i would've known this they could've fixed the issue on Sunday instead of me waiting for Monday.
