Last night my refrigerator went out. I had visions of spending $1500 on a new one.
When I called him and described what happened, he diagnosed the problem over the phone. Today he came out with the parts in hand and in under 15 minutes and under $200 he had it up and running.

When my dryer started squealing and squeaking like a stuck pig, I started to make some calls. The first company I contacted sent out a tech who claimed to have fixed the problem, but the noise continued in a couple days.

Disgusted, I found Jeremy online and reached out about my situation. He called me back the same day and exhibited a cool competency on the phone that assured me that he could fix the problem for good.

He was right on time for the evening appointment. He is a very polite and well-spoken guy, and he took the time to explain exactly what the problem was and what he was doing to fix it. He carried all the necessary parts in his truck. He also accepts credit cards (very convenient). He definitely knows appliances in and out!

He offered a couple different repair options, one for a less expensive quick fix, the another for a slightly more expensive, but longer-term, solution. No hard selling, just good honest information.

So after paying a reasonable fee to fix the problem, I'm back in (the laundry) business :)

I'd recommend Jeremy for anybody in the Elk Grove and surrounding areas needing an honest expert for appliance repair.

Jeremy just left my house & I wanted to make sure I get this review written. I called Jeremy about 10 am to schedule a dishwasher installation. He came right over & got right on it. In addition, he suggested correcting something 'slightly' out of code, relocated the old dishwasher (gave me a great suggestion about donating it - yay!), made sure the new appliance was installed exactly how I wanted it. Fee is very reasonable. Great experience & he is now in my phone contacts for calling - first - in the future.

Simple cost structure.  He was timely, knowledgable, friendly, and even cleared up by fabric softener without us asking.  In and out within 20 min. Would recommend and keep hand for future repair.

It was a pleasure working with Jeremy at Acutech. Our dishwasher was stopping mid cycle and Jeremy  was responsive, professional, and walked us through the entire process (from phone estimate to end of service). Service cost was fair, and I would happily use their service again for future appliance needs.

I called Jeremy because my air conditioner stopped working and it was going to be another super hot day. Jeremy came to fix it on the same day. He showed me the burned out part and explained the problem and cost. He had the part available and made the repair. He then cleaned up my outdoor air conditioning unit and showed me how to maintain it. His prices are fair and reasonable and he guarantees his work.

Jeremy was GREAT!  I called him at 3pm and he said he would be able to stop by the same day between 520-6. He was there on time!  Our washer machine was fixed several years ago. He told us he could repair it but no promises that it would work and eventually it would go out again. He provided recommendations on what types of washers and what to look for in a washer machine. My husband and I really appreciated his honesty and not trying to take advantage of us financially!  We would recommend Jeremy to all our friends and family!

Jeremy came out and gave us a professional quick and fair estimate, was very friendly and on time.  He had the parts and did very good work.  He went above and beyond to say the least to get our REFRIGERATOR back in working condition. We also found out through conversation He was a jack of all trades and can do more than just appliances.  WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!

Late Saturday, our clothes washer malfunctioned and we couldn't get the washer door open.  We called one place but they wouldn't be able to send anyone out until Tuesday.  And we needed service now as we had clothes soaking in the washer that we couldn't open.  I called Jeremy based on the recommendations on this site.  The reviews were all accurate.  Jeremy was very helpful in resolving our issue with the door and we were able to open the door and rescue the clothes.

technician Jeremy was very professional and polite. He knows the stuff, and appliance comparison; repair cost for a refrigerator is comparable to others.  The other local company always wants to let you buy a new one.  I would hire Acutech again for future appliance repairs

Great honest service!!!! I called and thought I had completely blown out my electricity.  Jeremy gave me a helpful tip to try before even coming to my residence!!! While most businesses I believe would just try to charge you for the service call!! His tip paid off and we were able to fix our electricity by ourselves.

I know Jeremy also works on major appliances/heating/air etc. I would trust Jeremy with any type of services as he is honest and fair.  He is one of the few that is trying to help customers and save us money!!! You won't regret calling him!

Came home from work on a Friday night to a broken clothes washer.  Called Jeremy to see if I could get on his schedule.  Surprise! - he made a trip out the same night!  Quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it for a totally fair and reasonable price (the same night!)  Very happy and satisfied customer.   By the way, ProServ is now Acutech Appliance heating and air. Make sure you ask for Jeremy.

I was having problems with my washing machine, I left a message and Jeremy replied within a very short time.  He came out (had to go back for another part) and still came back the same day to fix it.  He explained everything as he went so I understood what the issue was.  He also looked at my refrigerator while he was here, even though it wasn't in the original request, took care of that issue and told me how to avoid another issue like this in the future.  Price is very reasonable, he's prompt, cleans everything up and explains everything.  Best appliance repair technician I've ever had in my home.

Thanks to the others for recommending Jeremy. I don't usually post things on yelp, though I should. He gave me honest reliable advice, quick accurate service, and a good price to boot on replacing oven igniter, with 1-year warranty (after I backed out of fixing it myself). On the way out, he gave me some useful advice after telling him I was going to fix something else in the house. I highly recommend him!

I would like to highly recommend Jeremy Eldridge of Acutech Appliance - Heating and Air, for doing a fantastic job on repairing my clothes dryer. My washing machine started malfunctioning, and having 3 school age children, I freaked out of course.  I sent a message out via Yelp to 4 different appliance repair shops.  Jeremy actually talked me through the problem, and I was able to take care of it, for free!  You just can't find that kind of honesty these days.  Next time I have a problem with an appliance, Acutech will be the place I go to.  Why would you go anywhere else?

Late Sunday night I was informed that my oven wasn't working. Apparently it had been on the fritz and finally decided to give and not heat up anymore. I called and left a message asking for a quote for someone to come out and take a look. After looking at different companies on Yelp and calling around, I decided to go with ProServ (now called AcuTech) as he has good reviews, was the least expensive and was also able to come out after I got home from work that night. Jeremy showed up a little after six and was very nice and professional. My front right burner had also not been working, so Jeremy started there and got it up and running for me again. After he took my oven a part, he discovered that my igniter (I think that's what i was), wasn't working. He offered me a generic part which had a 14 day warranty (but he offered to extend it to 90 days) or the factory part which had a one year warranty. The price wasn't all that different, so I went with the factory part for piece of mind. After he repaired my oven he took a quick look at my sink as I was complaining how that was next on my repair list (my wand leaked due to poor design and the hose was far too long). He informed me that since it was a Moehn faucet that it should have a lifetime warranty and to contact them for a replacement. He let me know that he could do all kinds of repairs, so to not hesitate if I need help with plumbing, electric, air, etc... I definitely recommend Jeremy, good guy with fair prices.

Reliable. Quick. Professional. Knowledgeable. I had a gas leak. PG&E came out and shut off my gas to my cooktop. I had another company come out and say nothing is wrong with my cook top. Needed a second opinion so I used the NextDoor app to get some recommendations from my neighbors. Everyone was raving about Jeremy So I gave him a call and asked how soon he could come out. Jeremy came out within 2 hours!! Diagnosed and serviced my stovetop in less than 1/2 hour. He Showed me the problem and walked me thru it every step of the way. I trusted him and his progressional opinion. Definitely saving his number!! He found the problem right away when another appliance repair guy looked at it less than 24 hours prior and said nothing is wrong with my appliance.

I don't normally take the time to post reviews unless my experience is extraordinary, good or bad.  I have had the need to call Jeremy with AcuTech for a couple of repairs (washer/dryer and refrigerator) and he is absolutely awesome.  He is super knowledgeable, quick, efficient and makes it happen.  And on top of that, he is fair and honest.  He is my go-to for appliance repair.

Jeremy was fast to respond and spent some time on the phone with me first to get a sense for what the problem was. He came out the same day to fix my washing machine and did the work quickly, and charged a very reasonable price.  I would definitely hire him again.

Had to come out twice for an install. Took several days to get on the calendar/schedule. Did not have any parts needed. Damaged my unit at install, and did not tell me. Said he was going to come back to take care of it and never did. I had to go to the manufacturer to get it taken care of. Non responsive to phone calls and emails.

Charged me service charge without disclosing it when the appointment was made. Called them in because I thought there was a problem with one of their earlier work they had done on the appliance which was covered under their warranty. Turns out it was some other component which had the problem (which took the guy a full 1 minute to diagnose).. and then charged me 50 bucks for service charge.  Should have mentioned about this charge when I had called.. but nope. Also, they were supposed to call me and give me an estimate on the new problem.. but none of that either.

Will not recommend.

Jeremy took my call early on a Saturday morning and was willing to come out and help that same day. Reasonable fee and friendly service. Would definitely give him a call in the future.

The refrigerator broke last night.. I called Jeremy first thing in the morning. He was here by 9am, explained it all and he had it fixed by by 10:30. Was very personable and I am a very happy to have running fridge again!

My roommate woke me early to tell me our refrigerator of over 10 years stopped working. The first place I called didn't answer, and when I checked the website they didn't open til 10.  So I searched the top 10 appliance repairs.  Acutech was open. So I called from the website and Jeremy was able to come after his first appointment and then repaired my refrigerator before noon.

Very awesome service and Jeremy is very professional and patient to fix my fridge . I am very appreciated his help!

Jeremy came out today for washer repair.  He was prompt to respond to my call and came by to do the work within a couple of hours.  Repairs needed were explained thoroughly and completed quickly at a reasonable price.  A very friendly guy as well.  I would recommend him to anyone needing appliance repairs and will definitely call him again.  He is the business owner and truly cares about customer satisfaction.  Offers a 1 year warranty on his work as well.  What else could you want?

Fast service, quality and reliable repairman I called and he came out immediately and did the repairs. The price was also very reasonable.

I highly recommend this business for all of your appliance repair needs. My washing machine was broken and the gentleman I spoke with at this business scheduled me for a next day appointment! He came out and within an hour or two he had fixed my washing machine. Very fair priced, excellent service, totally recommend!

I have used Jeremy twice. Once for when my clothes dryer had a problem and once for my refrigerator. He was very professional and explained things thoroughly throughout the whole process which I really appreciate. He is very knowledgable and was able to diagnosis and fix the issues quickly. After some initial communication problems, (turns out that Jeremy accidentally dropped his phone in his pool!) he was very apologetic and came out very quickly to repair my broken washing machine. The fact that he made it out right before Thanksgiving, and right before my kids drove up from L.A. with their usual bunch of dirty laundry made me happy. Unfortunately, the repair required an expensive mother board replacement, but that's the way everything seems to be designed nowadays. The washer works great now and he even threw in a free sink unclogging and a discount on some parts because of our rough start. He seems to be very capable and knowledgeable on all aspects of appliance repair. Nice guy too. I would definitely use him again.

UNRELIABLE and INCONVENIENT! I called the company and scheduled an appointment to diagnose my broken dryer.  They gave me an hour window (11 AM - 12PM) and they never came!!! I tried calling them before I returned to work and went straight to voicemail.  I wish I was informed that they weren't going to make the time window they provided since I was taking time off of work.

I called Jeremy for repairing my dryer. He came to my house in an hour. Super quick, efficient and detailed service.

I called Jeremy and he was able to squeeze me in same day in the early evening.... I was between a rock and a hard place with a washer full of water and stopped mid wash.... ended up being a sock stuck in the pump... Jeremy was very professional and saved me $$$$... Thanks!!

Jeremy clearly takes pride in his work and his business. I had called another place first, only because it had more reviews. It was Thursday morning and they couldn't make it until Saturday to check out the problem I was having with my washing machine. I couldn't wait that long so I called ProServ based on good ratings.

They came out within two hours. My problem ended up being bigger than I would have liked but my machine was high-end enough to want to repair it. He showed me exactly what was wrong and was very clear all the way through. And like another review stated, the service call fee was about $30 lower than the quote I received from the other company. Problem fixed the same day.

I highly recommend ProServ and Jeremy. And while he's in Elk Grove, he said he serves the entire Sacramento region and beyond.

Jeremy fixed my washer and ice maker today.  GOLD STAR service:  with 1 day notice, including a parts run.  Will call him next time we need appliance repair!

Jeremy is great. He fixed our AC awhile ago and we haven't had any problems. He also worked on our sink and it works great. Friendly and affordable.

Great experience getting a whirlpool washing machine repaired. Jeremy was prompt, knowledgeable, honest and the price was reasonable. This is the best experience I have had with an appliance repair technician.

Jeremy came over and cleaned out my dryer vent. He is professional and very knowledgeable.

Freezer motor stopped working! It was a Saturday morning and Jeremy arrived within an hour. Didn't have parts for larger freezer but was able to get parts locally and returned within 30 minutes and begin repairs. All parts and labor for under $300. Excellent prompted service for a Saturday.

I called for a dryer repair.  Jeremy came the next day (Sunday!) and found the problem immediately.  He ordered the part, came back and installed it on Monday.  Great service.  Jeremy knows his stuff.  I was impressed he didn't automatically try to sell me a new dryer (like one of his competitors did) simply based on the age of the one I have.  He will be my first and only call next time I have a problem.

My fridge went out and could not get anyone to come. Jeremy was here withIn a couple of hours and he  was great!  He was very honest and helped deal with my home warranty company.  He wilL now be my go to in the future.  Thank you Jeremy!

Super fast service when he wants your money. He guaranteed the part and repair for 90 days. It failed . I have called him numerous times and left messages, no return call.  Sent text no response.

Update.  After going to BBB wife responded. It was due to a health issue. Unfortunately this could have been avoided by a return call or text. I have resolved the issue.

Jeremy really is GREAT. We have now had him help us out twice! Most recently he was able to diagnose and repair our fridge-what a lifesaver!! He called us back within a couple hours of our inquiry and scheduled us for his following working day! He arrived on time and super professional. He even had the part we needed on hand. It was the exact issue that he predicted just by us describing the issue over the phone. Excellent diagnostic skills! We also appreciated that he was respectful of our Covid fears as we do have a newborn baby at home.

This is old fashioned customer service!  I called and Jeremy quickly returned my call.
Once I explained the situation with my front loading washing machine, he was able to
determine an approximate cost.  My daughter was visiting with her two small children and I needed my washing machine.  Jeremy came in the early evening with the correct part and stayed until the job was done.  He explained in detail what the issue was and showed me features on my washing machine that I wasn't utilizing.  He even cleaned up the mess, wiped up the water and showed me the old part and why it had failed.  I can't thank him enough for coming even though it was evening.  Very personable.  I wouldn't go anywhere else for this type of repair.  Thank you Jeremy!

Had a loud banging coming from my dryer on Thursday. I called Friday afternoon and left a voicemail. Got a call back Friday night. Jeremy came out Saturday afternoon, promptly diagnosed the problem, tracked down the necessary parts, drove out to get them, drove back and fixed the issue ( and a couple more on top of that). All of that in the span of 24 hours. I would highly recommend this business.

I dread dealing with appliance repairs but Jeremy made it pretty painless!  My 3 yr old Whirlpool fridge decided to stop keeping our food cold. What a stressful thing trying to get all your stuff in ice chests and begging neighbors to take your freezer goods because of course we had made a Costco trip and had a loaded freezer. I  called him about 5:00 pm and didn't expect to get anyone after leaving a message. He called me back within 2 minutes and asked many questions to try and pinpoint the problem. He even suggested a fix to try that would not cost me money- I thought that was a pretty good gesture! He came by the next afternoon and had the problem diagnosed and fixed with the hour  and it was exactly the problem he thought it was and the price was exactly as he said it would be.
