Norman was not only a nice man but he helped me in numerous other ways as I was preparing my home for sale. His advice was useful and together we went through the property inspection report (which by the way was 'over the top' negative and even stated things which were untrue...however, that review I have yet to make and believe you me, that one will have much to say). In any case, Norman helped me to see what items were easy to fix and which ones I  shouldn't stress about. He was flexible, on time and very polite. I would definitely recommend him.

We needed some lighting and electrical updates done on our 100-year old bungalow, and Edward and Francisco took good care of our quirky place. The lighting looks great, and they kept us well-informed about the options we had for decisions we had to make on the fly. And they completed the two-day job in one day! Thank you.

Great service! John Paul set me up with the rebuild kits for my 20 year-old dripper system's leaky valves. He even spent 25 minutes showing me how to do the rebuild. This store has it all (garden tools, dripper hardware, and great knowledge). If you've ever been frustrated digging thru empty parts bins at a big-box store, then try the Urban Farmer store. Excellent!

At work, we had an outage where half our power wasn't working. I was frantic as it's a design showroom and it needs to be bright for clients. Dan came out, did a quick inspection, and took charge. The part that we needed wasn't available, so he ordered it and was back the next day to install. In total, it was two days from when he came out to when he fixed it. And he ordered extra parts (just to be safe) and it was needed after all. So I appreciate his forward-thinking nature. Aside from that, he was polite. courteous, professional, and easy to work with. I would highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Juan and Gabriel. Juan quoted me for some electrical work and then completed it within a day. Very attentive to detail, knowledgeable and thoughtful about the project. When something didn't go as planned he carefully considered the options and advised me of this. He and his team were conscientious, friendly and thorough. I'll be going back to them to have more work done as I need it.

Met with Brian to do a walkthrough to address some findings on my inspection report I needed addresses. cool guy, but super fixated on convincing me I needed the wires in my panel redone (with the other contractors said I didn't). Anyways, his wiring looks great but he never followed up with the quote and ignored my follow-up request to get the quote.

It's so incredibly frustrating to take the time to get a contractor out to your house only for them to ghost you.

My takeaway: more interested in getting pretty wiring or Tesla installation pics for the IG than actually delivering quality (or any) costumer service. Would not recommend.

Outstanding service! Lisandro provided a competitive estimate for bringing our house up to code, and made it happen in only 3 days. He provided several other fixes free of charge. He also demonstrated sound knowledge of the electrical systems and provided clear explanations for how the work would be done beforehand. Would highly recommend to anyone requiring a skilled electrician.

Ray replaced ceiling and vanity lights for us.  He worked quickly for a reasonable fee and did a beautiful job.  I definitely recommend him.

Over the holidays, my NEMA 14-50 outlet started to smoke while my EV was charging.  I stopped charging, switched off the breaker and then proceeded to search for an electrician via Yelp.  I reached out to Dan because of the outstanding recommendations on Yelp and his experience assisting customers with EV charger installations and fixes.

The recommendations were spot on.  Less than a few hours after reaching out, Dan was at my house replacing the outlet.  Prior to arriving, he texted his ETA.  He came prepared with the correct materials and was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and professional.  Dan also provided excellent insights regarding my current charging set up as well as potential improvements.

I highly recommend Dan.

Paul is great - he is responsive, he shows up when he says he will, and he does excellent, professional work at the quality level you'd expect from a professional electrician. I've hired him twice - so if I wasn't happy the first time I most certainly wouldn't have invited him back a second time. And I am sure he'll be back again.

This guy is great. Friendly, on time, and knowledgeable. Really helped figure out a 3- way and 4-way switch mess and helped get it up and running in now time, I would call him again for any electrical needs.

This review is a bit late as I had Brendan work on a job for me in July of 2011.  I was in the middle of a condominium conversion which can be stressful.

Part of the process in Condominium conversion is having 3 or 4 city inspectors look over your house and prepare a report of all the items you need to address.  Brendan took care of the electrical items in our report.  

Brendan explained how each of the items in the report would be addressed and was very specific as to the cost and amount  of time it would take.  He worked with us to arrange a time that would be convenient for all of the TIC partners.  He arrived on time and worked very methodically and had our issues completed within a day.

I would hire him again in a minute.

For fourteen years we lived with an oven that had a noisy exhaust fan until someone told us - that's not normal!! Galaxy was very helpful, professional, honest, and quick. Our repairman made the fix in a tight space in no time. Definitely would call them again if needed!

When trying to replace a light bulb, I accidentally tore the light fixture out of my bedroom ceiling. I called first thing in the morning and Abel was able to come out and help me the same afternoon. He arrived exactly on time, was friendly, professional and communicated every step of the way. He repaired the damage I caused, re-enforced the cage thing and helped me replace the bulbs. He was super tidy and I was so happy with the job! Abel even spent a few extra minutes with me, talking about future plans I have ( Maybe a ceiling fan in the future)

Look no further than DB Electrical Services! We needed an EV charger installed and couldn't be happier with Dawid - he was the first to respond to our request for an estimate, offered extremely reasonable pricing, and completed the job expeditiously with the utmost professionalism.

I'll echo the dilemma expressed below in choosing someone with single-digit Yelp reviews. Nevertheless, we've all got to start somewhere, and we wouldn't hesitate to employ Dawid again. In fact, we will be using him for all future electrical needs!

Work was good quality and technician was friendly and professional.  So what's the problem. The problem is pricing - for 12 hours of work doing minor repairs (fixing and replacing plugs, replacing existing fans with new, replacing lights, replacing motion detectors) the price was about $250 per hour.  If the work had been not been trivial, maybe the high price would make sense.  If it required complex diagnostics, then maybe it would make sense.  If they had to provide supplies other than a couple of plugs, maybe it would make sense.  But the work was as simple as simple could be.  When I tried to raise my concerns with management, they didn't bother to get back to me.  So, lesson learned - get bids from multiple electricians and expect the bids to be in line with the difficulty of the job.
